Dynamic tables collide when adding rows

Hi,
I created two dynamic tables with buttons to add/remove/move rows. When I add rows, the table collides with the other one and overlays it. How can I manage that the other table (or content) of the PDF is moved automatically further down to avoid a collision?

Thank you. When I wrap the whole page with a subform and set it to flowed, all elements are in a chaos (but the table is flowed to the next page when reaching the end of it).Putting a subform between the two tables works!
Space between two tables:
subform (flowed)
--> subform (flowed)
>table
--> subform (position) = spacer
--> subform (flowed)
>table

unfortunately it is not possible to check that option for allowing page breaks

Numbers 09 continuing formulas when adding rows

Numbers 09 - I have a checkbook template but when adding rows at the bottom the formulas do not continue. I have tried adding rows from the last row "Add row below" and also while in the last cell hitting return. Neither of these work. Any suggestions?

The rule is quite explicit: "If all the body cells in a column above the new row contain the same formula or cell
control, the formula or cell control is repeated in the new row."
So far there's been some information necessary to solving the problem missing from your posts. Please do the following, and supply the requested information:
Unhide ALL rows. There are two ways to do this, depending on what was done to hid them.
a. Click on the Reorganize button. If the checkbox beside "Show rows that match..." is checked, uncheck it.
b. If the checkbox is unchecked, or if there are still rows hidden after unchecking it, go to the Table menu and choose Unhide all Rows.
Click on any cell on the table to activate the table and show the Column and Row reference tabs. Hover the mouse over the tab for Row 1, then click the triangle that appears to open the local row menu. Repeat with rows 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 until you find the first row whose menu starts with the item shown below. Which row has this menu item on your table?:
Now click on cell G2 (the first cell containing a balance).
Select and Copy the whole formula from this cell. Paste it into your reply to this message.
Repeat step 3 with the formula from cell G3. Paste it directly below the formula from G2, using the example below as a guide:

Hide multiple rows in a dynamic table based on the row value.

Hi,
I need to hide multiple rows in a dynamic table based on the specific value of that row.
I cant find the right expression to do that.
please help

Go to the Row Properties, and in the Visibility tab, you have "Show or hide based on an expression". You can use this to write an expression that resolves to true if the row should be hidden, false otherwise.
Additionally, in the Matrix properties you should take a look at the filters section, perhaps you can achieve what you wish to achieve through there by removing the unnecessary rows instead of just hiding them.
It's only so much I can help you with the limited information. If you require further help, please provide us with more information such as what data are you displaying, what's the criteria to hiding rows, etc...

Dynamic table data by adding or delting not transfered to context

Hello Guys,
Currently I have a urgent problem with Adobe Forms and WD4Abap. We are using AdobeReader 8.1.1 und Designer 7.1. Me problem is:
1) I have an interactive form with dynamic table and simple fields...
2) Data within textfields can be updated, created and deleted
3) Data which is initially transfered to TABLES can be changed!!!
4) BUT, if I add or delete a table row, this is NOT sent back to the WebDynpro context
I am using the buttons out of the WebDynpro Nativ Library. Furthermore, if I save the PDF on my Harddisk and start in manually (offline) add, change or delete data, the data is updated by checking it with the export data function within Adobe reader (Document->Form->Export Data)
Do I have to implement something special my application,lika a refresh etc.??!?!
Is anybody able to help me, my ideas are on the end...

I have the database connected, the recordset declared but
when I introduce the dynamic table I can view it on the index.cfm
file then I preview it in IE7 and I got an error. This is my first

I think the problem is that this field has a space in it:
#miembros_sanmarcos.id miembros#
Should that be an underscore?

Tab order not working when adding rows through Javascript

I am having trouble with my tab order in LiveCycle Designer 8. When I "add instance" for a row from a button, my tab ordering skips the new row. How can I get the new rows to fall line up correctly in the tab order?
Here is my Javascript code:
"click" - Table.Product1.Product12.Product13.instanceManager.addInstance(1);

Auto-adjust references when adding rows/columns

If I recall correctly, it was the behavior of Appleworks that if you added, say, column B, making the old column B into column C, all references to B throughout were automatically changed to C. This does not happen in Numbers. Is there any way to make this the default behavior or a different command to add rows/columns that causes references to automatically be adjusted accordingly?

OK, this is going to make me sound really stupid, but I actually was so confused and tired that I meant the exact opposite of what I said. I was making a ledger-type spreadsheet keeping a running balance, and I wanted cells in the balance column to continue referring to the cell directly above them rather than to one absolute cell that used to be directly above them. That's how it works in Appleworks. I think.

Deleting rows in a table T1, when last row in table T2 is deleted

I have two tables, T1 and T2. The relation of T1 to T2 is one to many.
If the last row of T2 is deleted, the correspondig record in T1 should also be deleted.
How can I implement this in the delete-trigger of T2.

How to delete(remove) one row(record) from a dynamic table

Hi,
I have adynamically created table.
I want to delete 1 record(Row) from that Dynamic table.
Say if my dynamic table contains 5 records(rows);after deletion of 1 record(1 complete row)from that dynamic table,the number of records(rows) should be 4 .
Please suggest me how to proceed.

Dynamic Tables and Data Service

hi :)
i have a dynamic table (with add/delete row) buttons,
one of the fields in each row, needs to populate the rest of the fields with first/last/address information.
i understand how the data service works for a single fields, is there a way to do this by adding/deleting rows?
how can i bind them? and how do i ensure that the proper row is populating?

To get the instance of the subform that you are working on you can use this.parent.index. Now when addressing the field the occurance number is on the container subform and not on the field itself. So if you had a Page1 - Subform1 - Row - Object you would use Page1.Subform1.Row[instancenumber].object.rawValue
The only issue is the the [] are illegal in javascript so you can use the syntax:
xfa.resolveNode("Page1.Subform1.Row[" + this.parent.index + "]").object.rawValue
Make sense?

Item Number in Dynamic Table Quirk

I'm a new LC user, ramping up to speed on this package, thanks to everyone for the useful information here and other places.

I added a dynamic table to a form I've been working on. Most everything works, except the caption on the Row/Item number. So, I yanked out the subform with the table on it to create a simpler copy of the form to post here. Get this... it works on the simple form. So, there's something going on on my not so simple form that is preventing my Row/Item number from working.
I'm hoping that if I post both forms here, someone can help me fix this thing.

Try changing the code in the layout:ready event from;
this.caption.value.text = (this.parent.index + 1).toString();
To;
this.caption.value.text.value = (this.parent.index + 1).toString();
That is add another ".value".
Your form that works targets Reader 8.0 or later and the one that doesn't Targets Reader 9.0 or later, I'm guessing that is the difference.

Dynamic table in Online Interactive form

Hi,
Scenario:
I am doing an Online Interactive form scenario in WebDynpro for Java. In the form, i will be having a dynamic table(the number of rows will grow and shrink, with the help of ADD and DELETE ROW buttons). Initially, that table will have only one empty row.
Imp: The fields in the table are bound to the data source node, whose cardinality is 1..n. (I want the data enetered in the table in Interactive form, to be updated in the WebDynpro context also).
Problem: After deploying the application,
I fill the first row, click ADD button. A new empty row is created. No problem here.
I fill the second row. Then, when I click the ADD button, a new row is created, but with the values in second row.
Even if i create 10 new rows, the values are repeating in all those rows. If I change the value in a row, it reflects in all rows(except first row).
Note: If the table fields are not bound to any data source node, then I dont have the above mentioned problem.

In the note 1090464 It says that this is a limitation of the Subform Instance Controls(the same in table ui element).
It looks like currently the only workaround is to build in advance empty nodes but then it limits the number of rows in your table.

How to handle Adobe Form - Dynamic Tables.

Experts:
I am new to Web DynPro for ABAP and Adobe Interactive forms.
I have created a Adobe form with dynamic table. When I submit the form, WD4A is able to read only the first row of the table. Other rows are getting lost.
I thought just binding with the context will trasfer data from Adobe to WD4A. But it is not happending.
Do I need to write any code in WD4A and any script in Adobe Designer?
Can any one send me a sample code (ABAP and JavaScript). Even link to that will be very useful.

Dynamic table with drop down lists

I have a Dynamic table with a header row, Section and footer row.
Section has the following cells(columns): Cell1 (drop down with locations), button (to remove row), CCode (Color Code RAL), CName (color name).
I'm starting with 1 row.
now what I want to do is, when they select in CCode e.g. RAL 1003 (rawValue "1") then in CName the name "signal yellow" (rawValue "1") should appear.
I'm using javascript
My first problem is how do I know which value is chosen, because this isn't working:
if (this.rawValue == 1)
xfa.host.messageBox('Today')
and second how do I set the value in CName
because this only sets it in the first CName cell:
xfa.form.DataSheet.TechnicalInformation.Markings.THatchPatterns.Section.CName.rawValue = '1';
Please help me, I'm totally lost

solved the problem, instead on change event put script on exit event.
and the following line does the trick:

How to create dynamic table using POJO based DataControl

Hi,
I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0. I'm not using ADF BC.
I've a requirement to display the Dynamic table in my search page.
In our product we are using POJO based Data controls.
I created a task-flow and page fragment. I tried to create the dynamic table by drag-drop of searchResults from my Data control, I see the option for Read-Only Dynamic Table, but when I select this option, I don't see anything happening.
Does the Dynamic Table work with POJO data controls?
Any inputs would be helpful.

First U have to crate Extended View Object to your actual View obj.
Now take Page with Panel Splitter ,on First facet drag View obj as table and on second Facet Drag Extended View Obj as table.On page loading U have delete all rows from Extended View object.And then u have write bean code on button click to get current select rows from above view objct,and for Filter rows from Second View obj according to selection of rows from first view obj...
