Pass the information from flex to java using httpService or using data Services and from there insert to DataBase.

the function Excel Set Graph Font.vi has an input parameter called Title that corresponds to the name of the axis selected through Axis Type parameter.
And the funtion Excel Insert Graph.vi has an input parameter called Graph Title.
You can see an example called Column Graph (Excel).vi in Find Examples>Toolkits and Modules>Report Generation. -

We are configuring the JMS adapter to put into an MQ topic. For this we are giving all the values for the configuration parameters like
Factory Properties.
JMS connection Factory
Transacted
Destination Type
Username
Password
Destination Name, etc...
and we are able to produce message on the MQ.
Our requirement is to dynamically pass the values for the above parameters from some configuraion files(other than oc4j-ra.xml), which will have value for each obove parameters.
Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Not able to retrieve and insert the value to Home_country filed in MDM

I am new to the JAVA API,
I have creted one application in webdynpro using the JAVA API. I am able to search the data based on "Firstname" "Lastname" and "Email address".
I need to basically two functionalities
1) Search
2) Insertion of new records
*1) Search*__
But searching based on the Country is not able to do it.
we have two tables .
1) Country table> Contains all the list of the country codes and County name.
2) People table > Contains the country filed. So for this filed lookup table is country. also this country filed is drop down not have opton edit in the MDM.
I am sending the following used for searching the records based on the First Name and country.
But based on the first name it is working fine but Country it is giving some code like "R100" "R12". It is not givng the actual name of the country.

1) ISO-2 Code
2) Country Name.

Like the above data we have 250 country names
So , I displaying all the country list in my interface and holding in the Array.
Ex: When the user chooses the Australia. When I pass directly as an "Australia" to

Then i try to pass the postion of the"Australia" in country table. Like if the Austrila is an 2 record. I am looping through my array and find the record position as "2".
I am passing as

It is inserting into the people database. But not an Australia. It is inserting as "Argentina".
When the record inserting in people table refering some table at the database level , that table called "A2i_16_TEXT" This contains three columns.
A2i_16_TEXT(columns)
1) Id
2) LangId
2) Field Id
4) TextField
Example Data
Id | LangId | Textfield
3 0 Australia
2 0 Argentina
4 0 United States Of America
As i am showing the above table for "Argentina" Id is "2". When i pass the 2 for inserting the country filed.Instead of inserting "Australia". It is inserting the "Argentina" by refering this table.
Through MDM API we are not able to access this " A2i_16_TEXT" table. Because it is maintaining at the db level to find the perticular id for the respective country before inserting in to the people table.
So kindly suggest me how to solve this problem. What i am doing in the code is correct or not.

Forming a report query dynamically with the value of an item
Hi Gurus,
We wanted to create a report based on the value of an item in the page.
For example
There is a text box named p1_table depending on the value of this item the query of the report should change
1) when p1_table = emp then report query should be select * from emp
2) when p1_table = dept then report query should be select * from dept
I tried doing this using
select * from :p1_table and select * from v('p1_table') , it is not working.
Kindly help me in achieving the requirement.

You have to do this as a report based on a function that returns the query as a string. You build up the string dynamically in the function.

I have a cursor within a procedure and i want to be able to pass parameter into the procedure so that the record fetched by the cursor can be ordered by the parameter passed in.

If u have the value of the variable in an internal table, then
LOOP AT ITAB INTO WA.
V_NAME = WA-NAME.

);If I am reading it correctly, you do not want value for both Scheme_code and Share_code at the same time. Only one of the values should be present for a particular row.
If I read it correctly, then this constraint needs to be modified so that you can specify values for both these fields in your INSERT statement.

Error while inserting the value in xmltype field of oracle using ALDSP?
I am getting the following error, while trying to insert the large xml in the xmltype field of oracle using aldsp service:
inconsistent datatypes: expected - got CLOB in bea
But this error does not occur when the input xml is of smaller size.Please post the complete error message and stack trace.
