There is a requirement in my application, we need to create multiple textbox or selectlist items, on click of "add" button in apex.
Any help on this how i can process the request to create multiple items dynamically on click of "add" button.

Need to create multiple PA documents during billing

Hello,
We have the following scenario.
When we create a billing document from an SD order, we need to create multiple PA documents based on the condition types. We have maintained those condition types to different value fields in KE4I.
For e.g, for a line item in an order, we have Basic Price = 100, Discount = 20
When we do billing for the above line item, we want to create two PA documents, one for the Basic Price and one for the discount. Note that the above Basic prive and Discount are mapped to different value fields and different cost element groups.

Hi,
This functionality is not possible not does it make any sense. SD conditions are mapped to value fields via KE4I. If you have not activated summarization (tcode KE2S) then for every SD item you will get a COPA document. Each COPA document will contain all the values fields filled via the SD conditions displayed in one line item.
Imagine if you have a SD billing document with 20 items, each items containing 10 conditions. Then you will get 200 COPA documents as per your requirement !!! This does not make any sense neither from technical point of view nor from business point of view.

Create new folder with selected items

I have a bunch of movies that I would like to place into individual folders of the same name (Without the extension name). I wanted to try and create a keyboard command to do this with the selected files, but can't manage to figure out how!
What I did was try to create a new service command in automator, then went to keyboard shortcuts in system preferences to assign a keyboard command to it.
I want to make something that works like control-command-n (to create new folder from selected items), only I want the items to be in individual folders of the same name.
eg.
Files selected such as:
The incredibles.avi
Cinderella.mkv
Dogma.mp4
each moved into individual folders labeled as:
The Incredibles
Cinderella
Dogma
Also, is there a way to change the control-command-n shortcut so it can create a new folder from a single item? It only works when there is more than one file selected.

I am going to guess that you start off with a single file - what are you doing to generate these files? My *Get Names of Finder Items* action can get a name to use in the *New Folder* action - items passed to the New Folder action will get copied to it, so a little more detail may help in creating the workflow.
The *Dispense Items Incrementally* action can also be used to dole out the items one at a time - knowing what the workflow is doing would help with the use of this action as well.

Need to create multiple Premiere Pro Titles out of a Text file

Hi everyone !
I'm using Premiere Pro CS6. I've prepared a *.txt file (plain text) with about 70 lines (each line has 5-10 words max) and I'm looking for a way to create multiple PP Titles out of it (one Title per line) but in a "batch" manner (i.e. without having to create a new title each time and copy-paste the line-text in it, etc) as I need to end up with all 70 titles in my timeline...
Could you possiby suggest a way to do this ? Something like "importing" the *.txt file in Premiere Pro and auto-breaking it up into 70 separate titles or something ??

also, if we are creating a lot of slides, ideally, we would have an easy way to create clear videos of our slide presentations.
i tried a bunch of slideshow tools and it is amazing to me how bad they are.
anyway, i am using this gruesome but brilliant workaround right now (the ms word, indesign, premiere combo).
as brilliant as it is to have found this kind of workaround solution -- it amazes me that adobe has such profound resources -- and these apps behave so belligerently.

Use splitter to create multiple text file

Hello I have one view as source and would like to create multiple target text files based on different condition. What I am doing is that I am using SPLITTER which contain one INGRP1 and three OUTGRP( nameley TR1, TR2 and TR3) and one default REMAINING_ROWS ( what is the purpose of the REMAINING_ROWS?). So I mapped view to INGRP1 of the splitter and then added the different SPLITT condition in the condition wizard, for example :
for TR1
COMMISSION_TYPE='P' and
rownum <= 65000
for TR2
COMMISSION_TYPE='P' and
rownum > 65000
and for TR3
COMMISSION_TYPE='A'
After this since I have to create 3 comma delimted text files, I have used 3 expression for each individual splitt condition. In the expression what I am doing is that I am just concating all the fileds and then output of each expression goes to three different text files.
When I am deploying the mapping, it is coming up several errors such as :

Creating multiple non-contiguous select areas

Newbie to Photoshop here. I'm using Photoshop CS4 and would like to use the Alien Skin boken add-in to create some artificial bokeh in some photographs. To do that I'll need to create several different select areas within the same photograph to identify all of the areas that need the bokeh effect.
Using the Quick Select tool I can easily create one area but then how to I create another area (not part of the first area) within the same photograph so that the bokeh affect can be applied to both selected areas?

You use the tool with the middle (plus) option selected in the top bar.
You would probably get a better result with the Color range tool but you would need to learn how to use it in Help.

How to dynamically replace variables in SMARTFORM texts based on item data?

Hi experts,
I'm currently designing a confirmation of order using Adobe PDF forms. The general layout with tables, pictures and texts was not big deal.
But one tiny bit doesn't work and I'm becoming more and more desperate about it.
We need various free texts for our pdf form. I created the texts using smartform texts. Some of these texts need to be slightly dynamic, so I added some dynamic fields in it.
For example:
"The material is currently out of stock.You can expect shipping around week &num_week&."
To replace the dynamic field &num_week& in my interface, I read that I have to name the dynamic field exactly like the corresponding field in my interface. In my case this would be now:
"The material is currently out of stock.You can expect shipping around week &SLS_PRT_COM-ITEM_DETAIL-ZZ_EXTRAFIELDS-ZZWEEKNUM&."
To see the text on my form, I added a text object with type 'text module' and the proper textname. Of course I'm able to insert text on my form, save and activate it without problems. But if I want to print the form, nothing happens as the print program exits with an error code.
After some hours I found out that this problem only occurs if I'm trying to replace the dynamic field with a field from the item table. Using a field from head details or globals like sy-mandt works like a charm.
So my question is: Is it possible to use item data to replace dynamic fields of a smartform text?

For creating text in Va02, you may use "SAVE_TEXT" FM instead of BAPI.
you need to know the text object and text id before using this FM.

Deleting/Creating multiple Text elements!

Hi Friends,
I have two questions on TEXT ELEMENTS.
1. My program lines....
wa_output-line1 = 'Financial Accounting'(001).
wa_output-line6 = 'Financial Accounting'.
lv_vartext = 'Financial Accounting'.
If you observe above code you can identify that there is a text FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING , which is repeating three times.
and for the first time TEXT ELEMENT created. and to create for other i have to double click and it will assign same TEXT ELEMENT to my text. I have to do this action by searching them in my code.
Is there any simple step to do this, to reduce this time....? ( Because TEXT ELEMENT with same text already created )
In my program I have more than 50 text elements and each repeating more than 20 times in my report.
Forget about alternates.. advise if there is any navigation to do this..!
2. Say I have 50 text elements in my text elements screen...
and now i want to delete all unnecessary text elements... Unnecessary means which are no where called in my program.
Can i do it with out manual effort...? I mean... want to avoid.. searching each of them in my report and then deleting.. !?

Hi Naveen,
1.To replace all the text elements at a time you need to press Find Button(CTRL+F) and give the text (FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
and replace with TEXT ELEMENT.
2.To delete unused text elements,First find the text elements which are not used by Extended Program Check(EPC) by usng SLIN transaction code ,select character strings checkbox and execute.Then check for warnings in character strings,it will list of unassigned text elements.llist out the text elements and delete from your program.

For a catalog of about 350 pages, I need both a manufacturer index and a product index. I have read some of the creative solutions already posted here and in other web discussions, and I have an idea.
Why not create two Book files? one could be "Catalog-Product.indb" and the other could be "Catalog-Manufacturer.indb". Basically two separate contexts for the series of layouts. When in the Product book, do all the indexing for that context, update the Product index and close the set of files (saving the Catalog-Product.indb as well and then closing it). Then open the Catalog-Manufacturer book and do the indexing for the Manufacturer index, generate it, save and close.
The question is: will each of the two book files be able to ignore the invisible index metadata that belongs to the other book when generating the index? will there be trash index entries in the Index palette - representing those of the other book file? Or, can these two sets of metadata be properly kept separate?
One consequence that I predict is that the Hyperlinks option during PDF Export from InDesign will be compromised - I would expect whichever book was inactive during the PDF export from the Book file would be the one whose index links would be non-functional.
Can anyone tell me though whether this strategy could generate two proper indexes at least for a print document?

Search Google for terms like "InDesign multiple index" without quotes. There are some good links for this; admittedly they're workarounds. If you take the time to file a formal request for this feature at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform, there's a chance the developers will eventually run out of excuses or higher-priority tasks, and include it in a future release.

I need help with multiple text masks on one video.

I am trying to get three different text masks to appear at different times on the same video. I seem to only be able to have one of the three words applied to the video at a time. For example when I copy paste another set of masks onto the video it deletes the last ones. What am I doing wrong? How can I make this work?

It's pretty confusing, rto say the least. Masks would only be replaced, if the current masks are selected, which is totally intentional behavior. that aside, you workflow is clunky, to say the least. Simply duplicate the layer, trim the results as needed, apply the masks and animate the layer's opacity. Takes half the time than fiddling with animating mask opacity or otehr such things.

and maximum number should be 10 each file.utilities. I could not understand the above line. If you want to put 10 rows in one file , next 10 rows in another file and so on ......
There are two approaches.
1. Simple one is store all records in one file using UTL_FILE and then use unix
split utility to break 10 lines for each file.
2. Store all files name is an array ( VARRAY or Associative Arrays) .
(i) Fetch file name form Array
(ii) Open a File
(iii) Store 10 rows in File
(iv) Close file. Go to step 1.

control the displacementmap filter. but controlling the
displacementmap filter can be done (check my website under
snippets/displacement map where i repeatedly create new bitmaps
that distort the text based on the position of a moving object.)
because of my mathematics training i prefer to view the
displacementmap filter as a normalized displacement. if you check
the formula for how destination pixels are mapped from source
pixels, it looks a lot like the normalization done for a variable
that has a normal distribution where the mean is subtracted and
that result is divided by the standard deviation.
