E-mail batch - OTM

Hello,
There is an option in the Issue tab that we can mail the issue to the concerned person immediately but is there any other option that we can mail the multiple issues as a batch to a single person at one go, instead of mailing each issue as separately?

Hi
I see, got it, in this case you are better of building a report, in the reports tab you can do so, reports can also be emailed but i don't think you can schedule them.

Alex

  • Acrobat Pro 8 Outlook convert to PDF

    I have several thousand emails that I want to convert to PDF using the PDF Maker plug-in. I want all the messages and their attachements converted, I don't need PDF/A or an index. The problem that I have is the volume of emails is so large that PDF Maker won't convert them all. One mail batch of just the in box was almost 700MB and took about 2 hours. Is there any better or faster way of taking tens of thousands of emails (about 25,000) and converting them to PDF with the attachments like PDF Maker does? Is there a way to some how or another to raise or bypass the limit PDF Maker seems to have?
    I'm using Windows Vista Home, Outlook 2007, Acrobat 8.12, 2GB of RAM, Dual core 1.73 processor.

    any updates to this issue?

    SMTP server has worked for HFM to send mail.
    I have a question. Where are the area's that I need to modify the file.
    I update.
    1. fr_global.properties file with SMTPmailserver
    2. Navigate -> Administer ->Notification
    a. Mail server host name for sending email notifications:
    b. Email account name for sending email notifications:
    note: I was able to send the test mail.
    3. Restarted the services
    4. Ran the batch where in I gave my office mail address for sending.
    I do not get mail and when I check logs I see this.

    how can I do it.

    To send the mail from within a program unit/trigger, you will have to find out the mail batch command for the mail program that you are using eg. Microsoft Mail. If you are not sure, contact whoever created the mail program. Next, use TEXT_IO (built-in package) or some other method to write to the 'control' file that will be the email file you will send. Once you have done this you will need to invoke the HOST command, passing the mail batch command as a parameter to it.
    It is possible to write to an error file to see why the email was not sent, if this so happens. Again this file (any name you like to give it) will be a parameter to the mail batch command.
    To test if the mail was sent, write code like the following:
    procedure send_mail is
    l_file text_io.file_type;
    l_buffer varchar2(2000);
    l_mail_command varchar2(1000);
    begin
    /* Send mail */
    host(l_mail_command);
    /* Check if mail was sent */
    l_file := text_io.fopen('c:\temp\mailerr.err','r');
    text_io.get_line(l_file,l_buffer);
    /* If there is data in this file display message to user, using an alert for example */
    exception
    when no_data_found
    then
    text_io.fclose(l_file);
    end;
    One other point. When you are creating your 'control' file, make sure you precede the email address of the recipient with 'SMTP:'.
    I hope this helps.

  • Eudora Email from Forms

    We are trying to send email from Forms (background not interactively). We use Eudora as a standard mail application. I am trying to use OLE Automation to send mails as I have to attach Word documents to the mail. There are sample code in Metalink for OLE automation of Outlook but not for Eudora. I'm not even sure if Eudora is an OLE server application. I would appreciate any kind of help and suggestions here.
    Thx

  • Track User Logging Into Application

    Hi.
    I have a requirement in apex. if users don't login to application more than 3 days it must alert through email to adminstrator. Please suggest me how to make this feature.
    I am using Oracle Apex 4.0 and Oracle 11XE database.
    Thanks
    Sudhir

    Did you actually check the contents of the APEX_WORKSPACE_ACCESS_LOG view? You'll probably see the USER_NAME column contains the email address (as this is what you are using as the user name).
    To overcome Hari's comment: You might want to outer join this view to your Employees table to detect users that have never logged in. The ACCESS_LOG data is kept for more than 3 days (14 if I'm correct), so in that timeframe you've already have sent the email (one or more times...).
    You might ask yourself whether you need to send an email every day for an inactive user. Otherwise, when a user is on holidays for 14 days, the administrator will get 11 emails...
    In that case you might want to record that an email is send (maybe in your emp table or elsewhere) and exclude that in ay subsequent mail batches. But that logic you can easily code yourself in a few lines of PL/SQL.
    And I am wondering on what table you want to create a trigger ... I hope it is not on any APEX table ;-)
    You can create a post-login process (either in your Authentication or in your Login page itself) that does that trick.

  • Report to be sent to a list of recipients in an e:mail (part of batch job)

    Hi,
    I need to generate a report using ALV functionality.
    Currently my report requirement is to sent to a list of recipients in an e:mail (part of the batch job set-up) and the recipients just download the report in a spreadsheet format.
    Could you please give me the suggestions the way which I need to follow and how I will be able to set this report as a part of batch job which will send the report details to the users in the form of Email.
    Points will be rewarded for the answers.
    Regards,
    Ravi Ganji

    Hi,
    IN SM36..You will see a button for "Spool list recipient" which is next to the target server button..
    press that button..
    Give the email address in the recipient field..
    GIve the steps and start condition and then release the job..
    THanks,

  • How do you change the default size of the print batch size for mail merge in Publisher 2010?

    I appended this question to another thread with the same topic but have not received a reply, so I'll try with a new question. Publisher 2010, when doing mail merge, will only merge and print two records at a time. How do you change the default size of
    the print batch size? This is for a 4 page document, 8 1/2 x 11, printed two sides on 11 x 17. I've tried all the suggestions that were in the other thread. The response that was marked as the answer by the moderator is incorrect and does not work. Nothing
    suggested in that thread works. A registry fix that worked for Publisher 2003 won't work because the print batch size key does not exist in the registry for Pub 2010. At least not that I can find. Printing to an XPS document doesn't work. It asks for a filename,
    prints 2 records, asks for new file name, prints 2 records, asks for new file name, and so on. The same for printing to a PDF document. Merging to a new Pub document doesn't work. When I print that job every other sheet is turned over. I.e., sheet one has
    pages 1 & 3 on top, next sheet has 3 & 4 on top, and so on. This makes it impossible to run them through the folder. The same thing happens when I print that complete merged document to XPS or PDF. I have the latest drivers installed for our printer, a Toshiba
    2500C copier/printer connected via network. What do I need to do to to change the batch size to something reasonable, like 100 records?

    It's been two weeks since I posted this question. What does it take to get an answer? I cannot believe it's being ignored, nor can I believe that someone in MS doesn't have an answer.

  • How to send one single mail each time a table is updated with a batch of rows

    Hi!
    I would like to send one mail each time an integrations services inserts a batch of rows. I,ve tested with this code but it sends one mail for each row that is inserted to the table. How to adjust the code below so it only sends one email?
    Br Arne
    CREATE TRIGGER trao_FOBOSTAFKbelopp
    ON FOBOSTAFKbelopp
    AFTER INSERT
    AS
    BEGIN
    EXEC msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail
    @profile_name = 'ArneSqlDatabasemail',
    @recipients = '[email protected]',
    @subject = 'Ny förkalkyl',
    @body = 'Hej!
    En ny förkalkyl har registrerats.
    För att titta på den klicka på bifogad länk.
    Hälsningar
    Arne'
    END
    Arne Olsson

    That is because the process is inserting the rows one at a time.
    I would suggest changing your trigger to "log" the changed rows into a table, and then have a process which reads the log and generates the email.

  • Subject in the mail sent through Batch Job

    Hi,
    We have a batch job which is running daily.
    Consumer wants the output of the batch job (spool request) in mail. We generally send the mail from batch job by filling the mail id in "Title field".. there is some third party involved in managing spool requests..

  • Email Address not visible for output device MAIL in created batch job

    Issue in ECC6.0: Email Address not visible to display/change for output device MAIL in print parameter of each step in the created batch job.
    User wants to periodically receive report file via send to his email, so I create the batch job running report and send the report in pdf file to his email.
    Detail in the batch job
    1) In print parameter screen of the step in the batch job
       -Using output device MAIL (output type ZPDF1)
       -inputting email address of receiver in the EMAIL ADDRESS field
    2) After the batch job was saved, I tried to display/change the field EMAIL ADDRESS via Tx. SM37, but this field is invisible. The field can not be displayed or changed anymore. I also tried in SM36, but it is for creating new batch job, not changing the existing batch job.
    4) User receives email with pdf file from the batch job.
    How to change/display the email address of the receiver in the created batch job?
    Note that we just changed to use SAP ECC6 from SAP 4.6c. In SAP 4.6c, we can change/display the
    Email Address Field via Tx. SM37.
    Pls kindly suggest, thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Srirompoti,
    After saving the job if the job has not started then you can follow the below steps to change the Email address.
    1. View the job from Txn SM37.
    2. check the check box for your job that you want to change and goto menu path "Job->change
    3. in the next screen goto "Edit->steps." or press "F6" key
    4. place the coursor on the job and goto menu path "Step->change->print specifications.
    5. here you can change the email address.
    If you are not able change the data then you might not have authorization.

  • Batch save Mail messages as PDF's

    I am in need of saving all of my email messages in my inbox as individual PDF documents. I know you can do it one at a time via "Print>save as PDF" but we are talking about a few hundred email messages here.
    Is there anyway to take advantage of something like automator or could someone show me some software to batch save all of these messages?
    Thanks so much for the help.

    In Mail, select all the messages to print (a smart mailbox may help).  When all are selected do a file > save as (RTF or plain text).  This will create one printable file with all the messages.  You can then load this file into TextEdit and print it as a PDF.
    Thanks -- this may be what I go with.  However, when I tried this the rtf file did contain all of the messages, but did not show the header information on each (To:, From:, Date: ...), so I continued my search for a solution.  I think I found something that works.  My project is actually larger than what I described.  Interested people may be able to use some or all of the following.
    The project started when I asked a friend to send me all of the emails that I have sent him over the last 15 years.  He had archived them all in Windows / Outlook Express.  I had not archived them.  He was able to give me a .DBX file containing them all.  I used a free program called DbxConv in Windows to convert the .DBX file to a .MBX file.
    In Apple Mail I did File/Import_Mailboxes/File_In_mbox_Format to import them.  Then, View/Organize_by_Conversation (checked on).  Select all messages and File/Print/PDF/Save_As_PDF into a new folder on the desktop.  This will generate many pdfs.
    Now the new part:
    Next, drag all of the PDFs into Preview.  Finally, in Preview, File/Print/PDF/Save_As_PDF.  This will create a single pdf file with all messages, including imbedded attachments, with info displayed in your current Apple Mail format -- dependent on how you like your Apple Mail messages displayed (minimal header, expanded header, etc.) . . . . .  I think!
    At least it worked for me, once.  I try it again and see what develops.

  • Entering batch addresses in messages in Mail [Yosemite]

    How can I enter a batch of addresses in the bcc camp on an outgoing message in Mail?
    In Mavericks I used to click the bcc button and the Contacts app would immediately open and after selecting the addresses click on the bcc button and all of them would show up in the appropriate camp in the message's header.
    In Yosemite that doesn't apply,or am I missing something?Now I've been selecting the bcc button which activates a circled + icon that is used to select the addresses in Contacts on a one by one basis.Now,this is frustratingly time consuming and I'm sure there
    must be a swifter mode for this operation.
    Can anybody help?

    Thanks for your reply but this procedure is a longtime habit of mine.
    I'm sorry my initial question was not properly articulated  since what I want to find is a way of creating a batch of addresses from different groups,in Contacts,and entering it to one of the recipient fields in Mail App.
    If you,or anyone else,can provide an answer to that it will be very much appreciated.

  • Batch Process mail notifications not being sent

    Racking my brain on this. On our prod 9.3.1 server, we reconfigured the mail server/database. I logged in as the application owner to establish the mail in application settings. Under workspace/administer/notifications I am able to successfully send a test email.
    The emails are not being sent for any of our workspace reporting batch processes. What log would be associated with this for further review?

    FR_GLOBAL_PROPERTIES didn't have the smtp server populated..once populated and then the scheduler service restarted the emails are working..
