E-Mail from a JDeveloper form

I looked but didn't see this having been asked already here.
Perhaps someone has an idea how to solve this. I need to send
multiple SMS messages via FTP to employees mobile phones. My
form will have a list of mobile phone numbers that a standard
message needs to be sent to. I want to use the service offered
by a local cellular provider
(http://www.mobiledata.co.za/content/products_ftpsmshowitworks.ht
ml) to send messages to our people who need to be told when to
arrive at their goods collection points.

Very good question! If it can be done in Java, you can do it in
JDeveloper ;-)
Java actually has excellent support for networking, so you may
want to check out the java.net package of the JDK. If this is
supported you will be able to create such a form easily in
JDeveloper.

i have created one procedure with 15 in parameter by which i can send mail in HTML format. due to length problem i am using 15 parameter, every parameter has length 32767, i am splitting HTML coding after every parameter length fulfilled

How to send mail from adobe interactive form without opening the outlook

Hello all,
When the end user press the submit button i want it to send the XML data without opening the outlook or other mail application.
Is there a way to do this?
I tried javascript codes to send mail with UI = false but it did not work.

Parameters: bUI, cTo, [cCc], [cBcc], [cSubject], [cMsgBody]
Returns: nothing
This method exports the form data and mails the resulting FDF file as an attachment to all recipients,
with or without user interaction depending on the value of bUI.
If it is set to true then the rest of the parameters are used to seed the compose new message window that is displayed to the user.
If bUI is set to false, the cTo parameter is required and all others are optional.
You must use a semicolon u201C;u201D to separate multiple recipients in cTo, cCc, cBcc parameters.
The length limit for cSubject and cMsgBody is 64k bytes.

I use a program called BLAT which is a command line utility to send SMTP messages.
( Use the HOST built-in ).
I tried using MAPI products but they did not work well on the web.

When I send or receive e-mail, the mail gets changed significantly from its' original form.....typestyle, size of letters, symbols, page layout, color, everything changes.....is there a way to fix that?.....

Configuration receiving mails with attached adobe forms from BPM

System: CE7.20 SP2

I am using Adobe Forms in SAP NW BPM. Therefore I have to configure the Mail, Notification Messages, and Forms Services described [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce72/helpdata/en/e4/32ff7865fa483dba3686160f5c6dd0/content.htm].
To get this running at "Java System Properties - Applications - tcbpembase~ear"
I have to configure the mailbox which receives this adobe forms but actually I can not apply a mailbox from the exchange admin! That's always a very big bureaucratic effort, if you know what I mean
Do anybody of you have some experience how this could be solved in a big concern scenario with running exchange?

I do not want to create a new C program and to make it as USER_EXIT.

UTL_SMTP is designed for sending e-mail over Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). It does not have the functionality to implement an SMTP server for mail clients to send e-mail using SMTP.

There is requirment in my project to send formatted mail from form 6i.The database used in 9i.In normal form we can send normal mail.However our requirment is such that the mail content should have company logao pics and it should display data in coloured format based on data fetched from database.How can this be done.

What method are you using to send email from your form now? If you are using UTL_SMTP, you can set the MIME_TYPE = 'HTML' as Francois suggests. If you are using an OLE call to Outlook or a email JavaBean? The method you use to send email will dictate how you send Rich Text/HTML email messages.

I just made updates to and existing Muse file and now the email from the contact form isn't going through to my email provider.

I've no idea how you can suppress such an message in MS Outlook. I'm a little bit surprised though, you have chosen an OLE2 approach. Why don't you simply send e-mail messages from the database using utl_smtp or utl_mail ?

Look at http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/pl_sql/htdocs/maildemo_sql.txt
It creates a package in the database for sending mail.
If you want to send mail from the local machine using Outlook, you'll have to use OLE, but it's not something I've tried.
