E1000 issues with wvc80N cameras IE freezes trying to view video

I have DSL with a Verizon wireless router set to use as just a modem and a Linksys E1000 N wireless router. I have 3 wvc80n cameras. When I configured the first camera all was well. When I added the next 2 I tried to upgrade the firmware and the troubles began. During the upgrade all of my router settings changed including the ssid. When I tried to configure the cameras none were recognized and I had to manually configure with the help of tech support. When I view the cameras all goes well for about 12 hours. Then when I try to view with IE I can log in to the camera and change settings, but if I try to view the video IE becomes non-responsive. When it does this I am also unable to view the video from my phone using Mobiscope. if I briefly unplug the camera it works for awhile and then the cycle repeats. Since this is a remote location it is a problem to keep rebooting the cameras. I thought it was a camera problem since I have 4 other cameras (different brand) that work fine, but when I took the Linksys cameras to another location and configureed them they have worked fine for a week. At the second location I have cable internet with a Belkin wireless router.

You have already upgraded the firmware on your router. After upgrading the firmware on your router, it is recommended that you should reset the router and reconfigure it. Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait for 30 seconds. Power cycle the router and reconfigure it.
Try changing the wireless settings on the router. Change the wireless channel to 11. Go to Advanced wireless settings and change the Beacon Interval to 75, RTS and fragmentation threshold to 2304. Save the settings. See if that helps you.

    If you are a Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card and you are experiencing
    Premiere Elements 10 display and/or unexplained program behavior, then your first line of troubleshooting needs to be rolling
    back the video card driver version instead of assuring that it is up to date.
    Since October 2013 to the present, there have been a growing number of reports about display and unexplained workflow
    glitches specific to the Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer has a NVIDIA GeForce video card. If this applies
    to you, then the “user to user” remedy is to roll back the NVIDIA GeForce video card driver as far as is necessary to get rid of
    the problems. The typical driver roll back has gone back as far as March – July 2013 in order to get a working Premiere

    Anytime I am getting too far ahead, then let me know and we can work together on putting the essentials together for this troubleshooting.
    From your screenshot, you have a Windows 7 apparently 64 bit computer, lots of RAM. That computer would be great for Premiere Elements 11 Windows.
    But Premiere Elements 8 is only a 32 bit application running in the 32 bit compatibility mode of your 64 bit system. So all that RAM is excessive in a 32 bit system with its limitation of max supported installed RAM being 4 GB (of which 3 GB or less of that are available).
    So, the freezing and such could be explained by limited resources depending how much you have in the project when the freezing occurs and what formats are involved - like AVCHD. The burner not being recognized by Premiere Elements is probably another matter.
    Let us start here....another place where you could be getting hit on the resource side of things....
    1. Background Rendering and AutoAnalzyer features in version 8 are notorious for grabbing system resources. If you have them enabled, that could account for much of the program freezing. So, please make sure they are not selected.
    a. Background Rendering. In the Premiere Elements 8 workspace, go to Edit Menu/Preferences/General, and make sure there is no check mark next to Background Rendering option.
    b. AutoAnalzyer. In the Premiere Elements workspace, click on the Organizer tab in the row below the selected Organize header in order to open the Elements Organizer. In the Elements Organizer workspace, go to Edit Menu/Preferences/AutoAnalyzer Options and uncheck all the option under that.
    To get back to the Premiere Elements workspace from the Elements Organizer workspace, in the Elements Organizer workspace go to File Menu/Exit.
    For most of us, Premiere Elements 8 was unusable without the 8.0.1 Update. Did you install that? Have you ever worked successfully with your Premiere Elements 8 on the computer where it is now? And, was that with or without the 8.0.1 Update?
    Let us stop here and see how we are doing.
    Lots of other factors to get into including the burner recognition one.

    A new version of Flash Player (12.0.0.44) was released earlier this week and it appears Safari is now blocking older versions of the plugin.  Please upgrade to the latest version.  It is recommended to first uninstall Flash Player, and then install the latest version.

    Hi all,
    Sometimes when I'm trying to view videos on Youtube or BBC iPlayer, which use Flash Player, I'll click play and after around 2-3seconds of the video playing, my screen will go black/dark blue and the audio will stop. I'm then forced to hard reset my computer as no keyboard shortcuts work. This is starting to annoy me. Any help would be appreciated.
    I have the latest Catalyst, 12.1, the latest Chipset and BIOS. I have even tried re-installing Windows to no avail. I have also tried uninstalling Adobe Flash Player using your official uninstaller and then re-installing and yet I still get this problem.

    8GB Corsair 1333MHz RAM

    Your video card should be fine for GPU acceleration, but to rule this out can you try disabling hardware acceleration to see if that helps?
    How do I disable or enable hardware acceleration?

    The best thing to do is download the trial of Lightroom and see if it works for you. The trial is the complete program. The only thing different about the trial is that it expires after thirty days. Your images stay in the folders you already have so there's little risk. Good luck!

    Open window Control Panel, open Windows Updates, select View update history in the left hand pane, then select 'To remove an update, see Installed Updates'.  Let the list populate, then locate update KB3001237, right click it and select Uninstall - when this has completed, restart the notebook.
    Download and reinstall the latest driver for your particular graphics chip - the drivers and software page for your notebook is Here.
    Restart after this reinstallation.
    When windows has reloaded, reinstall update KB3001237 via the standalone installation options on the following link.

  • 2 Issues with Curve -- Camera and Application Connectivity

    I'm having 2 issues with my Curve 8300.  I tried upgrading the SW to 4.5 but it didn't help.  Any ideas?
    - The camera is no longer working.  When I try taking pictures, it saves a JPG file but the file to the assigned folder but the file is smaller than it should be (usually ~6KB) and it doesn't render as an image.
    - I'm trying to use an application (the NYT Crossword Puzzle) but it gives me the error message "Unable to connect to the server.  Please try again later.", even though I do have connectivity for e-mail and web browsing.  I tried adjusting the application permissions in advanced settings but it didn't help.

    As far as the camera I would try the following:
    No data will be lost when doing the following: pull the battery while the device is ON. Replace after a minute, Let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is fixed, Thanks

  • Solved issues with my Macbook Pro freezing

    My Macbook Pro would freeze from time to time.  I could move the mouse and I could hit return with success but couldn't click the mouse at all.  I would have to manually power down and restart to solve the issue.  I tried all sorts of things to solve this.  Thought it was iTunes, Outlook, videos.  But there was nothing consistent. 
    It just happened again and of couse I was crazily clicking anything when I realized I could "right click" and see drop downs.  I just couldn't use the mouse to make a selection.  I could possibly arrow over and hit return but could not click.  It made me wonder if it was my mouse or trackpad.  (Be easy on me.  I'm not a Mac expert by a long shot.) 
    During my crazy random right-clicking, I hovered over the bluetooth connections and noticed my mouse which made me think.  I never had a problem while at home (aka no mouse) AND at work my wireless mouse was always there - a constant.  So I removed the batteries and voila, my clicking issues were solved.
    I am adding this to the forum in case there are others like myself searching for solutions.  It's just one more thing to try before you lose it. 

    Just tried that and it didn't help. I actually was having so many issues with Safari that I downloaded Firefox. It ran a bit better but I still have issues with sluggishness...
    I'm actually using Firefox right now.

    iTunes recognises my iPhone 5s attached, but does not come up with the scanner/camera wizard giving me the option to upload pictures. I've tried going to control panel on the computer to try and open it that way, but it does not acknowledge that any devices with a camera are attached.
