E90 Messages on the MicroSD Card

Hi all,
Just wasted my money holding on the phone for Nokia Support. 80 mins before I gave up!
My E90 had to go back because the mic had become too quiet.
My text and email messages are stored on the MicroSD.
I've put the original MicroSD card in the replacement E90.
I've selected messages stored on the card in Messaging Settings.
My old messages and folders are no longer visible. Aaaaaargh!
Anyone got any idea how to get the replacement phone to see them?
Arcan :-(

hi,
when you put for the first time the memory card, and you go to message selecting to same the message on the memory card, you will be asked to move all the stored message on the phone to the memory card.
when you remove the memory card and put it back to the phone, make sure that the option of saving the message is the memory card.
hope i give you some help

  • Nokia 6120 how to move messages to the memory card

    hi,
I have to take my Nokia 6120 in to be fixed because it just stopped making any sounds, tones, alarms, and i couldn't hear anyone and they couldn't hear me.
    anyway
now i want to save some of my text messages to my memory card before I give the guys my phone as they said they'd have to wipe it, but I can't work out how to do it
When I select the message and then say 'move to' i only get the option of 'my folder' which, as far as i can work out, isn't on the external memory card.
How can I move messages to the memory card??
Please help, I've spent an hour looking around the thing and cant find a way...it's driving me mad!
    thanks

I moved 2000 messages from mobile to memory card in N95. In messaging options I have just set "save messages on memory card" , after that mobile asked me if I want to copy all messages saved in mobile to memory card"

great Problemes after installing Yosemite (10.10.2 ) with Photoshop CS6....The program crashes --last time 10 times during my work session..wacomtable doesnt work..it is slow...and get error messages about the graphic card....It s a Terror to work with my beloved Photoshop!

The Yosemite upgrade very often damages existing Photoshop installations.  Thank Apple for that.
You need to uninstall and re-install Photoshop, then apply all the Photoshop upgrades from scratch.
But first, give us details about your setup:

Note that this is boilerplate text.
If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand,
such as your platform (Mac or Win),
exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop (not just "CS6", but something like CS6v.13.0.6) and of Bridge,
your settings in Photoshop > Preference > Performance
the type of file you were working on,
machine specs, such as total installed RAM, scratch file HDs, total available HD space, video card specs, including total VRAM installed,
what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far,
    what error message(s) you receive,
if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them,
if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.
A screen shot of your settings or of the image could be very helpful too,
    etc.,

  • How do I acces Creative Zen M300 music on the MicroSD Card

I recently received the M300 as a gift and transferred over 8GB of music to the microSD card. The player can see the music if I access it through the MicroSD menu option. However, I have only been able to figure out how to play individual songs this way. I can find a song and it will play. This is EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT!
I would like to access the music on the card via the Music selection, but that does not appear to be possible. Thus I have been trying various methods to access it through a playlist, and everytime I follow the instructions for using WMP2 I can create the list, and transfer it to the player, but when I select it, it shows [empty].
I have the latest firmare update (6) so that is not the issue. So, I have over 2000 songs that I cannot figure out how to play except one at a time by browsing the MicroSD file structure/list.
    Any suggestions Please
    Thanks, Brian

    Hi,
Some points you might want to take note:
. The SD card isn't integrated into the Music Library so whatever music files you have in the SD card have to be accessed through the SD card option. It takes a while for the player to scan the SD card everytime you remove the card/turn on the player. It would be recommended to transfer these music files to main memory of the player instead.
    2. Please make sure that the music files are already in the player before creating the playlist. You might want to refer to this guide to create a playlist using WinAmp.
    3. On the main menu, select Music -> All tracks -> any song you want to play. The player should start playing this song and move on to play another. It should not stop after one song unless the play mode has been modified.
You might want to refer to the user guide for more details.

  • N8 how do I Format the microSD card??

The manual says I can reformat the microSD card in my N8 by  "You can do this in Menu > Applications > Office > File mgr.."
But I can't see any options in there that would do this?

In File Manager point on the card and hold down until the sub menu appear. You will find the FORMAT option there.

  • A2109 - What is the best way to remove the cover that hides the MicroSD card

    Hello.
I have tried to remove the cover that hides the MicroSD card with little success.  So that I don't destroy it, what is the best way you have found to remove it.  Thanks.

    hi ourtech,
From the back, remove the two screws at the left and right side. For the bezel, try to use the plastic prying tool in this order:
    1. From volume key to the left (I/O ports)
    2. From volume key to power key
    3. From the side without screws to I/O
    4. From power key downwards
Also, be careful when removing the plastic near the volume button to avoid breaking the bezel.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to reference/play video from the MicroSD card

I am developing an interactive video application using AIR on Android and need to store media on an external MicroSD card.  How do I access that file location in AIR?  I have tried:
    /mnt/Removable/MicroSD/
    /mnt/external1/
    etc.
    Is there code similar to:
    var myFile:File = File.documentsDirectory.resolvePath("Test Folder/test.txt");
That would allow me to reference the external storage?

OK...I am highly confused.  And I think you are a bit confused too...adding to the confusion.
Log and CAPTURE is for capturing from tape. If you aren't capturing from tape...but rather an SD card...do not use Log and CAPTURE.  Tapeless capture uses log and TRANFER.  That's what I mention in that tutorial.
    >How do I set up the preferences so that I get the capture window that shows the clips that I can import (capture) from my SD card?
Watch the video again. You open Log and Transfer...click on the folder icon on the upper left...and then navigate to the backup of the card you make.  The FIRST step is to back up that card.  Then you use L&T...and direct it to the root level of the backup folder.  You click OK and all the clips in that folder will appear in the Log and Transfer window.
    >I keep getting prompted with a message that my HDV deck is not connected.
Because you are opening Log and CAPTURE.  Again...log and transfer is what you want.
    >I'm just trying to have my video be captured wirelessly from the SD card into FCP.
Sorry, you can't do that. You cannot do this wirelessly. You need to connect the camera to the computer with a wire...typically USB.  OR...you take the SD card out and either use an SD card reader connected to the computer via a cable (USB), or if you have a laptop with an SD card slot...well then, that would be wireless. Just slap the card into the computer and watch it show up on the desktop.  Then back up the footage, then Log and Transfer.
    >It's got to do something with setting it up in wither Easy Setup menu or one of the others.
No. You do not need to use the Easy Setups. That is for tape capture. You determine what codec you will be converting to in the Log and Transfer preferences. Watch the video again...I explain this thoroughly.

  • Is There A Maximum Size Limit for The MicroSD Card?

    Hey all,
I'm a BB newbie.  I installed an 8GB MicroSD card.  Finally figured out that you must format the card from the device in order to get it to work.
However, in doing so, my 8GB card is only recognized as 4GB.  Is there a maximum size card that the 8300 series(I have an 8320 through T-Mobile)  will recognize or is there something strange going on with my MicroSD card???
The manual isn't clear on that.
    Thank you

Supported SD card size is OS dependant as follows:
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0 - Up to 2 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 - Up to 4 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 - Up to 4 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 - Up to 8 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0 - Up to 8 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.6.0 - Up to 16 GB
Note that 16 Gigs was just added to the list a few days ago! This is directly from the Tech Support Site here:

  • HT201436 How do I recover voicemail messages after the sim card has been taken out and put back in?

If you take the sim card out for any reason do you automatically loose all of your saved phone messages. If you reset the password to your voicemail through AT&T does it prevent you from recovering saved voicmails even if you've have not done a backup in itunes.

The SIM card has nothing to do with phone messages, nothing is stored to it. Resetting the password also should not delete them.

  • I reset the iphone, message as "the sim card instered in this iphone dosn't appear to be supported" me using it in Pakistan

any body help me out, i lot my passcode .. when i reset my iphone then.. the problem arised.. as
"the sim card instered in this iphone dosn't appear to be supported"
    any tips..

The message is appearing because your iPhone is carrier locked. Apparently, the phone was hacked to make it work where you live. Updating software or restoring a hacked iPhone will re-lock the phone back to the carrier it was originally locked to. That's what has happened to you. No one here can help you. Only the carrier that an iPhone is locked to can authorize the phone's official unlocking. So, either contact that carrier or use Google for instructions on how to re-hack your phone. Good luck.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    Refer:
Article ID: KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after buying a previously owned BlackBerry smartphone
All of those Seller steps, of course, should be done before the device is delivered to the buyer. After that point, there is nothing you can do, unless you happened (still before) to have installed BB Protect onto the device, in which case you could use the tools it has to perhaps wipe it now.
All in all, this is a difficult lesson for you to learn...giving away personal information is something that no one should ever do, and yet exactly what you did do.
    Good luck!

  • How to transfer camera pictures to the microsd card in my 9860 torch?

    Hello,
Via the device interface, things like this are often one by one, and cumbersome to do. Instead, Mass Storage Mode would let you treat your device/media card as a pair of USB drives on your computer...allowing you to do all the things you can do via your computer, including simply moving and pasting all files at once from one location to the other.
    Good luck!
