Each time I connect to my IBM computer it crashes with blue screen error message pops up. Apple say that it's my printer/camera drivers. The problem is with iTunes, it likes to play with all the ports on my comp and conflicts with prnt drivers. How to fix
Does anyone know how to fix this problem without disabling my printer. It's very frustrating. It's either I have my iPad or my printer. iTunes likes to play with the ports on my computer thereby causing a conflict with my printer drivers. Apple should fix this problem, I'm so annoyed.

Apple say that its a driver problem, but I've never had this problem before so I am not convinced. Another thread, which I can't seem to find, suggests that it is an apple problem - itunes plays with the ports on the company causing conflicts with existing drivers. I isolated the conflict to my new Samsung printer. I uninstalled the Samsung printer driver and then can successfully connect my ipad without the blue screen appearing.
It's not a windows problem. Windows is working fine. Only happens when Ipad is connected. Actually, this first happened after I installed the new version of itunes. I reget installing the new itunes version, but don't know how to reinstall the previous itunes version.

Gotcha, sorry, I'm guessing you are referring to Windows Autoplay. This should do it:
Type regedit into your search bar and bring up Registry editor. Go to the the very top with My Computer. Now go to Edit and Find. Type in the whole offending name that is bugging you, i.e. Soandso's iPhone and hit find. After it searches your registry and finds the first name select it and Edit the Name. I copy/pasted it for all the next steps. After you have found the first name don't stop there. Use F3 to find next Name in registry and So on and so fourth until you have replaced every offending name in your whole registry with the Name you want to show up i.e. Tom's iPhone or whatever? Repeat all of these steps if you have more than one name showing up in your devices? Worked 100% for me. Close regedit and reboot (very important for changes.) Plug your iPhone back in and enjoy all your names back to normal. -
trying to add Itunes match, and am almost at the end of installation when an error message pops up. it says error 4010 cannot connect to ittunes store at this time try again later. what is the problem?

Windows Blue Screen Error Message Appears As Soon As IPod Connected
Everytime I connect my IPod to my computer, I get the Windows Blue Screen error message. Thought it was the cable, so plugged cable in by itself. No problem. Uninstalled IPod and ITunes software and then plugged in IPod, still got the Blue Screen. The Blue Screen says something about "recent plugged in device problem". It is not the cable, it must be the IPod. Did not have this problem when I bought it. Tried it on labtop and get the same error message. I can't do updater or anything that requires me to plug the IPod into a computer because the Blue Screen appears immediately. When I unplug, the Blue Screen remains and locks up the computer so I have to restart each time. I have tried everything I can think of. Please help.

I am not able to start the computer in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last good known configuration etc, Each time it quickly blue screens and restarts about two secs into the process.
I was unable to try a clean OS install from the disk as it gave the blue screen error shown in the original post. The same thing happened when I tried to use the repair option on the XP home disc. So i can't get into the computer at all to start diagnosing the fault, the only clue I have is the error message, and after searching the internet I haven't found much enlightenment from that yet.
If you can help me out or suggest where to search it would be much appreciated.

My 6th generation nano isn't recognized by my computer. When I plug it in an error message pops up, which says "USB Device Not Recognized". Does anyone know how to start trouble shooting this? I updated both windows and iTunes.

Since upgrading my ipad and iphone software i am receiving an error message when sending emails, saying that the email address was rejected by the server.

MarkTry a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

Each time I connect my ipod to computer I am asked to register.
I cannot get the entire registration screen to view in Itunes- think I'm missing a Submit button?
I'm having a similar problem. I'm able to sync videos, podcasts and music, but each time I connect, I'm asked to register. When I select "submit" to download the free videos, I get an error message (something about the iTunes store not available). I also find that I get serious blue screen crashes when my Nano is connected and I try to use different features (for example, when I first attempted to check Apple support in the iTunes menu, my system crashed with a blue screen - my Nano was connected). I disconnected the device and now can access Apple support. Any suggestions?

ITunes 10.4 not playing songs all the way through
Hi all,
I am having an issue with iTunes 64bit 10.4. My songs don't play all the way through, sometimes playing a few seconds before skipping to the next one and sometimes well into the song before skipping (without any predictable pattern even for the same song). It doesn't seem to be an issue with the transfer of music files from old computer to new computer b/c the same thing happens with new iTunes Store downloads and when I play music stored on my old computer through Home Sharing.
Any ideas what may be causing this? Thanks for your help!

Windows 7 64 bitSame problem on my daughter's MacBook Pro that we bought last month. She started off with iTunes 10.4, upgraded to iTunes 10.7. Probably 64 bit, though I haven't checked. I think all the new Macs are obligatory 64 bit. The problem occurred with iT 10.4, and still happens with iT 10.7 So far, we have noticed the problem only on files transferred from an old computer. In particular, these are the m4p format, which are drm protected. It does not happen with all m4p files, though.
1) In this incarnation, the problem is entirely reproducible. If the same track is played over, it skips to the next track at exactly the same point.
2) The files are not corrupt. They can be played all the way through using Quicktime Player.
Other than that, I haven't a clue. -
Can't get the latest vesion of Itunes to download correctly. I keep getting a runtime error R6034. I tried uninstalling all the apple components in the order given. anyone having any good advice to solve my problem?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique. -
How do i get to the top of an iTunes playlist without having to scroll all the way
when i am down at the bottom of one of my playlists and i want to get to the top i have to scroll through thousands of songs and it takes forever i was just wondering if there is an easier way to get to the top of a playlist?

To move to the top of the list, you would use the Home button as with most places on the Mac, fn-Left Arrow on a MacBook Pro.

Scroll to the beginning of a document (same as Home key)
fn-Right Arrow
Scroll to the end of a document (same as End key)
Note you need to be in the song list so it knows what your are moving to the top of, so click on a song first if none is currently selected.

T61 - Blue screen error message (nv4_disp) - Now computer won't even start!
Hi I have a Lenovo T61 (Type: 7662-CTO) Windows XP.
A couple days ago, all of sudden my screen turned in a yellowish hue, started flickering intensely and froze; I had to manually shut it off (by pushing the power button).
Next day, I started my computer and it worked fine until I had the exact same flickering and freezing issue, but this time, the screen didn't turn in a yellowish hue. Once again, I manually shut it off and went to bed.
This morning, however, when I started my computer, my screen went totally blank, though I could hear my computer running. I hooked it up to my TV to see if anything comes up and that's when I got this blue screen of error message.

It would show this blue screen very briefly and rebooted by itself (without letting me log in windows), so I had to once again manually shut it off.
I thought perhaps cleaning a fan might help, so I opened up my laptop, cleaned the fan, keyboard, palm rest etc and assembled it back together.
When I turned on my computer, now I'm getting NOTHING. Not even a blue screen. Computer would start, but very briefly after (just a few seconds after), it would just shut it off by itself.
Someone please tell me what's wrong with my computer and if I can revive it at all.
Also, would you recommend me to bring it to the local Lenovo repair center (http://bplocator.lenovo.com/)?

Have you tried updating your graphics driver?
Error message in Windows XP: "STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER"
You can find the latest driver for your system here. Another option would be to run ThinkVantage System Update, which is hopefully on your system, if not you can find it here.
I'm not saying this is the solution or ruling out a hardware problem, (which the flickering suggests), but it's a good place to start

This isn't a new problem. This has happened with all the versions of firefox I have downloaded. I'm using 3.6.12 version now but it hasn't made a difference
Not all locales come with a dictionary installed due to licensing reasons.<br />
If you do not have the en-US locale then check that you have a dictionary installed (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and selected.
You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu.<br />
You can open the "Add Dictionaries" link to install a dictionary if you do not have one.<br />
Make sure that [X] "Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu has a tick.
