ECATT/ABAP code to close a session while executing a chain script

How to close the extra created session during the execution of chain script??
Details of the problem:
I'm using eCATT for automating different business flows in SAP,
For a particular scenario I have to create a chain script,
One chain script may contain up to 40 individual scripts,
This chain script will contain around 7 report programs using SE38 transation,
While executing SE38 script(report program), one extra session is opening (log display session),
but, my script can close the original SE38 screen only, not the extra created session,
So, after executing 5 scripts (SE38 scripts), then "sessions reached to its max" message is appearing, and the script is failing,
As it is a automation test script, no manual interaction will be there,
i.e - we should not close the extra session manually.
Now, my question is:
How to close the extra created session..??
How the recording should be done to handle this problem..??
or any extra code should be added to close the extra session..??
Is there any ABAP code.. or eCATT command available to handle this problem..??
If you have any idea to close the extra created session, please share it with me,
my effort:
I tried with "RESCON" command... this will close all the SAP sessions,
This will not work for my scenario,
and, I tried with "Close session after every RFC",
this will work, but, after executing 5 SE38 scripts, I'm facing the above problem.

You could always write a custom DataSource that just passes through the input of a normal data source, and then generate the EndOfStream event yourself... maybe based on a timeout or failure counter? Or when you've read enough data that the file can't possibly have any more (read >= file header + file data)...

Use ABAP code in "Decision Between Multiple Alernativesu201D in process chain

Hi, does anybody know if it is possible to include ABAP code in formula definition when using u201CDecision Between Multiple Alernativesu201D in process chain.
I wanted to read a specific parameter from one table in order to choose the next step in the process chain.

Hey. You could create your own custom formula which you would code. Then that formula is reuseable in the formula builder. That should get you where you need to be.

Error while executing a uinx script in BODS job - exit code 127

I am executing a UNIX script using BODS job and it is giving an error message saying 'Program terminated because of exit code 127'. The same script i am able to execute in UNIX. I am not able to find the solution for this.

Using a print command with return code 8 should give more insight to the error.

I am trying to execute unix shell script from a java program using Runtime.execute() method by passing script name and additional arguments.

You can add the line "set -x" at the beginning of your script to see at which line it fails? I suspect the . ./env line.

Changes are not reflecting while executing the SAP script from report

In SAP-script we are nmaking changes in form in client 130
it is showing the changes in 140 client but while excuting the report the same are not reflecting in the output.

Hello.
Scripts are mandant depentant. So you must copy from 130 to 140 for changes take efect.
Do it in transaction SE71 in mandant 140, first screen, in the menu options.
And never forget to activate it in all mandants.

I run adstrtal.sh after update EBS from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3, when execute adformsctl.sh , it prompt the following error

Initially i have created infopack with full load and Executed it manually, later i have changed same infopack to Delta load and kept in Process chains, when i execute the Process chains, the start Process have get triggred, but my Process stops at load data.when i have check the log file it is showing the Below Message:

"CL_RSSM_LOADING===============CP" or "CL_RSSM_LOADING===============CM005"
In Sm37 it is showing
BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER is Finished
BI_PROCESS_LOADING is Cancled
Please help meto find out what might be the cause of this Error.
Note: The infopackage will get data from Generic data Source.
when i run the Process chains, the request is not going to R/3 Side.

I'm writing to yours because I'm doing a web application in ADF Faces. I have some jspx pages. In one of them I have a Logout link which close the session of the user. I want to add some code to close the application, I mean, to close de IE directly since that jspx.
I know how to get my objective using JScript, but it doesn't what I want because I don't have the code to close the session of the user.
Right now, I have this code window.parent.window.close();. It doesn't function into Firefox explorer. Could someone tell me the reason..??..

Trigger Process chain using ABAP code

Hi All,
As per my knowledge there are 2 ways to trigger a process chain using ABAP code :
1) Using FM RSPC_API_CHAIN_START and passing process chain name as the parameter
2)Using FM 'BP_EVENT_RAISE' and passing process event as the parameter, which you can create using SM62 transaction.
I would like to know which one is better to use, in terms of advantage and disadvantage.

You are using an ODBC driver to connect to Oracle. The error you get is not an Oracle server error. (so ignore the silly request for an alert log)
The error is from your client Oracle driver. It gets a TNS connection string (or alias) from the ODBC driver. This tells it how to establish a network connection to the Oracle Listener on the Oracle server platform.
The Oracle driver then runs into a problem and says:
