Ecatt PFCG Role Change of Organizational Values problem

I am trying to write an Ecatt script to add company codes to a derived role, i am done writing the ecatt and its working fine, but the problem is when i click on Organization Button in PFCG in Role Edit, i have an arrow button to add new values, when i click that 2 empty rows add at the bottom where new values needs to be entered, when recording i need to scroll down couple of times to go down to the bottom to the empty line, when i run the script its failing because of the 2 scrolls that i do,if i remove these 2 lines it works but i that case its replacing existing org value with a new value, which is not what we want, we want to add new org values, also please note depending on the values sometimes i need to make more than 3-4 scroll clicks to go to the bottom, is there any way to make the system understand that these are simple scrolls and pick the empty line at the bottom,
any help will be appreciated

Organization values in PFCG not in table AGR_1252

I have tried to create a new parent role with 3 derive roles.
However, after I added all the organization values, I have found that there are some values added to the derived roles(by PFCG) which are not updated to table AGR_1252 which are:
Sales Document Type ($AUART): CR, DR, FD, OR, QT, SD
And there is also value found in table AGR_1252 which is not in PFCG.
Sales Document Type ($AUART): KN
Although I have tried to regenerate roles several times but the results still remain the same. Do you have any idea about this problem? Thank you.

Sorry for the delayed response.
Here are my inputs.
-> I'm not sure what you mean. where can I find the filed AUART? in table? or PFCG? check org value against what?
The answer has been provided by Raghu Kishore. Of course you need to check it in PFCG. Of course once you do CTRL F and key in the value AUART it may open several nodes. this is because AUART field might be present in mutiple authroization objects wit in the role. Check for all the fields. What you will acheive through this comparision is simple. If normally no values have been maintained in the field AUART manually then the values in AUART fields and in organizational levels should be exactly the same. if otherwise then a manual entry has been done.
Secondly I think you misintepreted "X" in my statement
need you to check within PFCG itself. Just confirm if any value "X" is maintained in organizational level then it showing up in the field(s)AUART with in the role"
By X I did not mean X literally. X is variable. What I mean is that whatever is maintained in organizational value is also present in all the AUART fields.
Please award points for useful answers.

BAPI or Function Module to change PFCG role of an User from Background

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement to change PFCG role assigned in User from background and I need a BAPI , FM or any other method to do the same, I have gone through BAPI_BUPA_ROLE_REMOVE and BAPI_BUPA_ROLE_ADD_2 but as per my understanding , these are related to business role not PFCG.
Please help!!!

Problem changing the Condition Value in Po using BAPI_PO_CHANGE

My issue is BAPI_PO_CHANGE is not changing the Condition value. and giving message in bapi return as 'cannot be processed manually'.

Can not assign ONE PFCG ROLE TO DIFFERENT ROLES

Hi
First I created a new Conf Key then I created a new NAV BAR by coying the standard Makrting and Sales PRO Nav Bar.
Then I am trying to create a new buiness role( lets say ZMARKETING PRO) by copying the standard Marketing role and assigned my own created NAV BAR and Con KEY.
I am facing an error
" YOU CAN NOT ASSIGN ONE PFCG ROLE TO DIFFERENT ROLES"
Just want to know the background of this error. Any help would be appreciated and points would be rewarded

Sorry we are not aware of the terminology used in your organization.
Can you be more specific:
are you doing Role Release,
Org Filter changes or creating CHILD (derived) role
Please generalise your problem.

PFCG Role Descriptions and Longtext in a Second Language

Hello,
I am a bilingual key user who maintains PFCG user roles for my organization (usually in German). I want to maintain the longtext and description fields for these same roles for admins signed on in English so that a translated version in English appears matching my German text. How can I do this?

Please apply the note-854311 and follow the below mentioned procedure.
For changing role description, please run the report Z_ROLE_SET_MASTERLANG.
It will ask for Agr_name(Role name) and orgin_lang(required language)

Each purchaser must maintain his PFCG role?

we use SRM 7.0.
our organazion strcture include 30 company code , and each of the companies has its purchasing org. There are 4 or 5 purchasing group for one purchasing org.
If there is not org. level. restriction in PFCG role, the purchaser can edit all companies' RFx, PO, Contract. It is unreasonable.
1 must I create PFCG role with Org . Level for every purchaser?
2 we need a user who can check all the SC , how to accomplish it?

Create one role per purchasing org with specific "Responsible Purchasing Organization" (BBP_PURORG) field value. Then assign the users to the role corresponding to his/her purchasing org.

User who is assigned the role of SRM Administrator should be able to monitor all shopping carts through portal: "SRM Administration" >> "Application Monitor" >> "Shopping Cart Monitor".

Hi Arif,
Its depends on what you are changing. If you are chaging any data like accounts and document level data it will be applicable to all the users.
If you are changing some sort of configuration or signature kind of changes applicable to your user only.
As mentioned by Deepika, If you are not chaging anything which will ask for TR to save then there will not be any problem, if asking for TR means you are chaging some date which will impact other users assigned to that PFCG role.

I have a user on an iMac 10.6 connected to our domain. She uses Outlook web access for email on our exchange server. Last week she received the following message which is randomly preventing her from sending emails. She claims no attachment was involved in the original email when this all started. I have not been able to look at her account as she is out of the office but maybe someone else dealt with this issue. I realize this may not be Mac related but thought I'd give it a try. She did say it occurred once over two days while working on a PC but it continued over the past weekend.
If an internal user tries to send a message with infected attachment using Outlook Web Access, it may report the following error message: The action could not be completed because of a conflict with the original item. The conflict may have occurred when an existing item was updated on another computer or device. Open the item again and try making your changes. If the problem continues, contact technical support for your organization.
This is because F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange has detected a virus in the attachment. If the user tries to send the message again, the message will be sent but without the attachment. At the same time a blank message with an attachment named "Attachment_information.txt" will remain in the user's Drafts folder. The "Attachment_information.txt" will contain information about the virus detected in the message.

PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!
If anyone knows of a GOOD reasonably priced video editing program NOT from APPLE I am still looking for suggestions. I want to do more video in future, but obviously NOT with iMovie !!!

How can I change the initial value of the field approve_or_reject?

We are using SRM 5.00(SRM SERVER 550) and as per the requirement, I have to make the Reject radio button as default checked on the Approver's screen.
We are using the SAP Standard Workflow WS14500015.
I found out the Standard task TS14508044 (SC approval per Item)which has one field in its container i.e. approve_or_reject ,based on the Initial value of this field , the radio button is behaving...
approve_or_reject EQ 0 i.e. Approve
approve_or_reject EQ 1 i.e. Reject
Now my requirement is to change the initial value of this field from 0 to 1 so that Reject radio button comes as checked by default into this standard SAP workflow task TS 14508044...
Kindly help me and let me know the procedure to change this.

Well Iam not much sure about how you are trying to approve the shopping cart workitem b ut last week i faced a similar issue while apporving the workitems I was able to update the contianer element Apporve_or_reject element by using the FM BBP_PDH_WFL_WI_APPROVE and BBP_PDH_WFL_WI_REJECT ... These two fm will take the responsibility of updating the element with respective value as, if you approve the it will be populated with 0 and if you reject the the element will be updated with 1....
Please check the thread where I updated the thread in [SRM Workflows|Problem while approving SC from Blackberry !;

Modifying the standard workflow is not recommended.....

How do I change the organizer of a Family Sharing account

My husband is the organize of our Family Sharing iCloud account, and since he travels a lot, it makes it difficult for him to approve app downloads for our kids. I'd lIke to change the organizer to my account so we can avoid this, but I can't figure out how to do that and wasn't able to find anything on Apple's support site. Has anyone done this is and can give me some direction?

List of Values Problem (messageLovInputBean).

I have a quite anoying problem with LOV's on my page.
I'm using JDeveloper for RUP7.
I have a messageComponentLayout region with my data.
I have a input field named Category. This field contains the value of my LOV.
I have create an LOV VO and Shared Region.
I have then added a new field (messageLovInput, id: CategoryMeaning) to my region with the following lovMaps:
MeaningToCategoryMeaning:
LOV Region Item: Meaning
Return Item: CategoryMeaning
Criteria Item: CategoryMeaning
ValueToCategory:
LOV Region Item: Value
Return Item: Category
My problem is:
The Category field contains the LOV code from the database. If I select a new value from the LOV the Category and CategoryMeaning fields get updated. If I then apply my changes the new value is saved to the database. That is as it should be.
But. When the page is loaded the CategoryMeaning field is empty. Even though my Category field contains the value fetched from the database.
What am I missing here? How can I get the CategoryMeaning field to show the Meaning corresponding to the Value saved in the Category field?

There is no "default value" on a messageLovInput bean, so I tried to set he "initial value" to ${oa.IncidentVO1.ExternalAttribute9}
The CategoryMeaning field shows the text ${oa.IncidentVO1.ExternalAttribute9} and not the value.

Planning function to change date field value in layout

Hello experts,
I have 1 BPS layout with 2 date fields ( Start date, End date ). With a filter conditions, set of data comes in BPS layout on execution and 2 date fields also contain some value...I want to change values of these 2 dates...both the date fields are char infoobjects..in BPS layout, in planning function I got only 1 function ( Repost function ) to change the value of char infoobject based on some condition. but date field value is not the status field...i want to enter new date instead of old date..if i right exit function in that also i can change only keyfigs values..so please help me to solve this problem..

As of now master data planning is not so flexibly supported.
Still u can refer the below link which is enhancement of standard Repost function,and can be used to change master data.

How to batch change the standard value of routing

Dear all,
         I meet a problem, and need you help.
        As you know, we can use T-code "CS20" to batch change a component's quantity in different Bom by a factor.
       for example: Component a in Fert. A, quantity change from 6g x 0.9 = 5.4g
                           Component a in Fert. B, quantity change from 8g x 0.9 = 7.2g
       now, my question is how to Batch change the standard value in routing. (select by work center) CA85N can select the value, but seems can not batch change by a factor,

It is not a big task for u prasobh...Just play in CEWB for 5-10 mins you will understand everything....

Portal favorites doesn't work after role change

Dear all,
we encounter the following problem in our EP:
We have an WAD-Template stored in a folder. If a user is assigned to a specific portal role, he can see and execute the report. While executing he is allowed to store the report in his personal portal favorites.
Last week we joined three old portal roles (names: OLD_A, OLD_B and OLD_C) to a new one NEW_A containing all reports of OLD_A, OLD_B and OLD_C. After that we assigned the new role NEW_A to all users formerly assigned to at least one of OLD_A, OLD_B or OLD_C. In addition we unassigned the users from the old roles.
As a consequence the users now see all the reports of the old roles in their portal menu (as they are stored now in NEW_A) BUT the old favorites saved before the role change could not be opened anymore. The following error message appears:
"Page not found or not available"
We found out so far, that the favorite stores the combination of role and iview (in this case OLD_A and the iview-name). If the role changes the pcd-link is different.
Does anyone know this behaviour? How can we change the access pcd-link in the content management manually or by script/program?
Any help is appreciated.

Yes I saw this thread too. However, I think viveknidhi solution is pointless for us since we can not perform this operation manualy for each favorite...
For the moment, based on what I red on forums and sap documentations, there is no workaround. Portal favorites are hardcoded pcd urls to the navigation node. If we modify our roles we will loose related favorites since the navigation node will change.
I hope you will find a solution to move forward.
