  • CRM Service - ECC Logisitcs Integration (Spare Parts in a Service Order)

    Hi Experts,
We have been trying to configure a scenario for CRM Service Orders with SAP ECC logistics integration in CRM 7.0 EHP1.
We are aware of the standard configuration wherein we assign one logistics scenario ( Purchase Requisition or Purchase Order or Reservation) for a specific service organization & Item Category for spare parts in service order.
Our first query : Is it standard that the spare part will be automatically reserved if it is in stock (after ECC availability check from service order) and purchase requisition or purchase order is created only if it is not in stock?
We also understand that while a reservation happens during Service order creation, the goods issue or material withdrawal happens only on service confirmation. If this the case, how will the physical delivery happen to customer? This is our second query.
Please note that we are raising this query only for spare part items in service order and not for sales item in service order.
It would be great if you could help us with this issue.
    Responses will be suitably rewarded.
    Thanks,
    Prish

    Hi Pritesh,
Thank you for your prompt reply and help, appreciate the same, we would be going for the scenario where the service order in sap crm has saleable parts, the service order would get replicated to ecc as a sales order and the costs would get booked when the post goods issue is performed after creating the delivery in SAP ECC.
    Following are the configurations done
    1) Service Order type ZRVW is created in SAP CRM
    2) The same service order ZRVW is mapped in SAP ECC
    3) The service order in SAP CRM has the following number range and the same is kept internal
    4) The same number range is marked as external in SAP ECC in vn01 tcode
    5) The number range is assigned to the document type ZRVW in SAP ECC
    6) Item category determinations are done in SAP CRM, standard SRVS(Sales items are copied to YRVS)
    7) The same item category determination is also set in SAP ECC for Item category group NORM
    8) Item category determination is also set for ERLA as item category group in ECC
    9) The item category YRVS is set to delivery relevant in SAP ECC
    10) The standard schedule line is determined which is CP is relevant for delivery
    11) The sales area is also assigned to the document type ZRVW.
    12) In SAP CRM, the status profile YCONT is assigned, having the business transaction to be distributed, the status of the same is set to allowed for completed status
    13) The status profile has been assigned to the transaction type ZRVW
    14) Pricing configurations are also done in sap crm and sap ecc
    15) Now I am creating the service order ZRVW in SAP CRM, having saleable parts, customer's and material's exist in both systems having the same sales area, the status is set to completed at item and header level
    16) The system is throwing an error when I click on edit
    17) When checked In sap ecc the system says that the document does not exist
18 I did open the error in SAP CRM and it says that there are some settings required for billing
Since there is no billing relevance to this scenario in the item category the billing relevance is set to no billing
    Please advice further
    Kind Regards

  • CRM SERVICE ECC CONTROLLING Integration

    Hi Expert,
We are working with Service Contract mgmt with ECC COntrolling integration.
After we create a Service Contract an Internal Order (CO) is defined in CRM in order to collect service costs.
This Internal Order represents a material service (without cost). The u201Ccostu201D of this material service is the Internal Order balance.
After creating a Service Confirmation, a Sales Order is created in ECC and it is used to bill the material service. Revenues are posted in CO-PA but costs remians still in the Internal Order.
However, in order to have profitability analysis by material service, these costs should be settled to CO-PA and we are currently not able to match the INTERNAL ORDER COSTS with the SERVICE CONFIRMATION REVENUES.
Do you know how can I determine a settlement rule that automatically match those transaction? (the material number is a characteristic to be included)
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi Ashish,
Could you please tell me how do we assign the debit memo request to the internal order.
I am creating a debit memo request from the confirmation. the debit memo request doesnt have the internal order number that was created in ECC. And hence, I am not able to post the revenue from the confirmation to the internal order.
    Could you please help.

  • SAP Cloud for Customer & SAP ECC/CRM OnPremise integration using WebServices!

    Hello All,
I would like to ask if anyone has really created a working integration scenario between a Cloud Solution & an ECC/CRM OnPremise solution?
We are trying to build some prototypes for this, however, due to connectivity errors/issues, unable to proceed.
    I'm looking for information on:
    > What certificates precisely are needed on both Cloud & OnPrem systems?
    > What configuration if any is required on Cloud & OnPrem solution, except for communication system/arrangements on Cloud solution?
    > Any use case if available from anyone which can demo integration between Cloud solution & ECC/CRM OnPremise solution.
I'd really appreciate responses on this.
    Many Thanks
    Ankur

    Thanks Sathya for the response.

    ntegration-of-sap-cloud-for-customer-with-sap-erp-and-sa
    p-crm-now-available  : Not working! => Please check & confirm.
Just to give you our background...we are SAP Cloud Partners & VARs, hence we are building few prototypes for Customer Demos & POC.
Per my understanding, its just one of the OnPrem system, either an ECC OnPrem or CRM OnPrem that you can integrate with one C4C tenant at a time, i.e. to one single tenant. In our case, we are trying to integrate ECC OnPrem with C4C system.
We are in the process of deploying SAP PI as the middleware platform for integration between C4C & ECC/CRM OnPrem., which is going to take few more weeks.
SAP HCI will be the other approach, but we are currently not familiar with that, hence we have a trial to start in coming week for SAP HCI, so this is going to take some time as well.
Hence, WebService is the only currently available option for us to build these prototypes, POC for Customer Demos, to show working integration scenarios between ECC OnPrem & C4C system.
We have been facing some technical issues after setting up necessary communication systems/arrangements on C4C system & trying to do a WS call from SDK also we get error when we do a ping test from within C4C system to check connection.
Has SAP developed any WS integration between C4C & either of the ECC or CRM OnPrem system? Or is it just PI & HCI which SAP has for integration?
I'd truly appreciate if you can guide us on creating few integration scenarios (Working ones of course ) using Webservice between C4C & ECC OnPrem system.
    Many Thanks

  • CRM integration problems

    Hi,
I've successfully established an SSO with my CRM system from the portal. I've implemented the business package for including the channel management functions as well. I'm able to access some iviews as well. But sometimes I get an error http://<server>:<port>/sap/bsp/sap/crm_bsp_frame/mainDH.do not found or http://<server>:<port>/sap/bsp/sap/crm_bsp_frame/entry.do not found. Please guide me on how to progress further.
    Thanks in advance,
    Pinac

    Hi Pinac,
I'm integrating CRM Web UI with Portals.I'm having problem in configuring SSO with the CRM system. While checking the connection in the portal in"Connection Tests" it is saying that SSO is not configured properly. So whenever I'm clicking on the tab for my CRM roles it is asking me user name & password.
I've already configured the BW & our ECC systems integration with the portals where I followed the same steps for configuring the SSO & they are working pretty fine.
For CRM integration I've followed the steps mentioned in the SAP Library help for CRM integration with portals but it is not working.I've followed the SSO best practice doc for its configuration but in vain.
I think there might something else I need to do for CRM.Kindly suggest.
My requirement is very urgent.Your quick reply will definitely be rewarded.
    Regards.

  • Sharepoint 2013 Online - error while setting up CRM integration

    Hi,
we use Dynamics CRM 2011 on-premise and Sharepoint 2013 online and since last week CRM integration with Sharepoint stopped working. When I want to set up "Document Management Settings" in CRM administration I got an error
"An error occured while loading the page. The url may not have been mapped in the Sharepoint server. Ask your system administrator to check the Configure alternate access mappings settings in Sharepoint central administration."
But we use Sharepoint online, so I can't configure it.
I think it is common issue after some Sharepoint update in last month, because I tested 2 instances of Sharepoint online with 4 instances of CRM on-premise (3 different versions of CRM 2011 and one last updated CRM 2013).

    Hi  ,
According to your description, my understanding is that you encountered the error "An error occurred while loading the page. The URL may not have been mapped in the SharePoint server. Ask your system administrator
to check the Configure alternate access mappings settings in SharePoint central administration" when you want to set up "Document Management Settings" in CRM administration.
For your issue, please re-install the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 List Component for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013:

  • Is it possible to maintain customers in both ECC & CRM?

    Hi,
We have ECC 6.0 as the leading system for creating customers and they replicate to CRM 5.0
But one certain group of customers alone will be created in CRM and replicated to ECC. These customers then have to be maintained in ECC and those changes have to flowback to CRM. I am guessing this is available in the standard functionality of SAP ECC & CRM (creating in one system and maintaining in another). Will there be any issues in doing this?
Can you guys foresee any problems in this method?
    Thanks,
    Max

    Hi,
As long as the Number range used in both system is the same, there should be no problem in doing so....

  • Help on XI to BW and CRM integration

    Hi
How to to integration between SAP XI to BW,CRM integration ?
Is it same as ERP or Any differences ?
Can any one provide me links on this ?
    regards
    Rakesh

    Hi
XI to CRM integration in detail
SAP CRM Integration with XI (To Cross Applications)
    1)     Usually these kind of scenarios are SOAP - IDOC scenarios. The Webservice is used in EP that triggers the scenario. As usual standard IDOCs for CRM is used in the receiver side. There is also predefined XI content available for CRM integration and this is biggest advantage.
    2)     If your integration policy is to make all integrations go thorugh XI and for all known advantages of XI i.e. central monitoring of integration data, loose coupling, you should go for XI. Else your webdynpro screens can always make use of CRM functionality exposed as webservices as model directly.
    3)     CRM uses Bdocs to communicate. But if you want to test, then you can go for either Idocs (create a custom idoc) or you can create a RFC and you can test it. Then it is normal Idoc/RFC->XI scenario or vice versa
    4)     There are multiple ways of integrating a CRM system with XI. You have to remember that your ultimate aim is to call the ABAP proxy method, passing the data as a parameter. This can usually be the last thing you call in another method or function module that first collates the data and packages it into the structure required by the proxy method.
    5)     CRM has something called 'actions' that can be triggered on certain events. These actions then call a function module that gets processed.  Another route I have used is to have a batch job running periodically that runs a program. This program calls the proxy method.
Web Application (Webservice)=========è XI  ========è IDOC SAP CRM
Web Application (Webservice)=========è XI  ========è BAPI SAP CRM
Web Application (Webservice)=========è XI  ========è ABAP Proxies SAP CRM
Web Application (Webservice)=========è XI  ========è RFC calls to SAP CRM
    Note:
If the volume of data is huge. Then go for idoc, as there might be standard idoc and if the volume of the data is not huge then go for BAPI.Go for a proxy only when if standard Idoc's or BAPI's are not available otherwise you are re-coding the existing things.
As CLAUS suggested try using BPCRM, as I believe they would have included creating sales order as it is very fundamental proceess of CRM products.
If you don't want to do any coding, then you will have to go for IDOCs/ BAPI. In this case all you have to do is the configuraion.
However, when you use Proxies, there will be a little coding required for calling the proxy. Its not much though. However, Proxies should get you better performance as they bypass the adapter engine.
In this case, as everything is standard, I would probably go by IDOC's.
You need to write client and server proxies.
Instead of coding for proxy if the Idoc is standard option.go for idoc tunnelling. As both your systems are SAP.That is the option’s the best.
i hope this will answer your question

  • SAP RAR - Best Practice ECC,CRM and BW systems

    Hi All
i have the requirement to configure RAR for the systems ECC,CRM and BW systems . Each system has only one client . whats the best practice regarding using the rules against each system . i am assuming the rules will be the same irrespective of the system but when i see the names of the initial files , they are system specific . can anybody elloborate around this . thanks
    Regards
    Prasad

    Prasad,
To build on Chinmaya's explanation, make sure you use a logical system for CRM, BI, and ECC for the basis portion of the rule set (and only the basis portion).  This will keep you from duplicating your rules to meet your basis requirements.  The other rules should be attributed to the individual systems (or additional logical systems if including mult landscapes, ex. Dev, QA, and Prod ECC merged into one ECC logical system).

  • ERP-CRM-Integration based on business partner concept in ERP

    Hi all,
can someone give me a hint if and how I can integrate the ERP business partner with CRM (we are using CRM7.0) business partner. Actually I have done ERP-CRM-Integration very often before but in former times clients were always using the customer and/or vendor master which was up and downloaded to CRM business partner. In my actual case the customer is using in ERP (ECC6.0 EHP4) also the business partner concept (groupings, roles, etc.). Since pide mapping is based on customer or vedor master (account groups, classification, etc.) and I do not find any documentation I am not sure if and how I can exchange BPs and if it is possible what I have to do for it.
Maybe I can use the object BUPA_MAIN, etc... but how is the logic, is it a prerequisite that groupings are  identical, but what about number ranges, etc???
As you see I do not have a clou. Please advise.
    Thanks a lot

    Hi,
You can use Report-Report Interface to do something like that. It's not exactly like that, the user would need to right click and select an option from the context menu. But the result is the same.
    Check transaction RSBBS.
