ECC to CRM Mapping Issue for vendor data

Hi,
I am facing an issue for replicating vendor data from ECC to CRM. One of the vendor is not confirmed at ECC side and one vendor's time zone is not maintain in the master of time zone in CRM side. This may be the issue.
But Where exact we can see that mapping of the tables of ECC and CRM. So in future we should maintain mandatory data based on mapping to avoid BDOC failure.

The field (MARA-BISMT) is not used in CRM system. If you want this
field to be maintained in CRM as well, and to be transferred from R/3
to CRM you must enhance the standard by customer extensions.
The procedure for customer enhancements for Download from R/3

Hi All,
We are looking into Value Mapping Replication for Mass Data. We have done this for less number of fields.
Now we might have to have 15,000 records in the cache for the Value Mapping. I am not sure how this would effect the Java Cache and Java Engine as a whole.
There might be a situation where we will have to leave the 15K records in the cache table on Java Engine...
Are there any parameters that we can look into just to see how this hits the performance.
Any links/ guidance in the right direction might help me..

ADF Service Interface: two-phase commit issue for multiple data sources

In FusionApps, For a service interface we had to use two DataSource resources (in the ejb-jar.xml),
one is ApplicationServiceDBDS for SI and the other one is ApplicationDBDS(I don’t know the exact reason why this is needed, but when running the webservice, Framework was throwing an error asking for this) After adding these two, now(while running the webservice) we’re caught up with an error saying that unable to participate in two phase commit. I think this is because we added two dataSources, if we just use one dataSource everything is working fine.
Error message from app server:
"JDBC driver does not support XA, hence cannot be a participant in two-phase commit. To force this participation, set the GlobalTransactionsProtocol attribute to LoggingLastResource (recommended) or EmulateTwoPhaseCommit for the Data Source=ApplicationDB"
we have made the changes to ApplicationDB as said in the error message, but then the server is failing to start because of this.

this is what the doc says - though not about two phase commit but transaction sharing:
"At runtime, the calling client and the ADF service may or may not participate in the same transaction, depending on the protocol used to invoke the service (either SOAP or RMI). Only the RMI protocol and a Java Transaction API (JTA) managed transaction support the option to call the service in the same transaction as the calling client."
When your application accesses a remote ADF Business Components service, each remote call is stateless, and the remote service will not participate in the same transaction as the business component that uses a service-enabled application module's service interface.
In the majority of the cases, calls to remote services will be informational in nature and will not make changes to remote objects. However, if you must use a remote service to make changes, then keep these points in mind:
An exception thrown by the remote service will cause the local transaction to fail.
If you successfully call a remote service that results in modifying data, and then subsequently your local transaction fails for any reason, then it is the responsibility of your error handling code to perform a compensating transaction against the remote service to "undo" the previous change made."

Mapping Issue for Synchronous interface

Hi Experts,
We are facing the below issue in a SOAP to RFC synchronous scenario.
Data from WS is successfully uploaded to RFC via RFC request. However we face the below issue when the RFC response is received.
com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException:Character reference "&#00" is an invalid XML character.
We receive this error particularly when one field has the below values.
<FIELD> X 20140812201409101211 1 USD TP 00000000 </FIELD>
When we click on view source the same field shows as below:
<FIELD> X 20140812201409101211 1 USD TP 00000000</FIELD>
Even while pasting the same source xml from view source in Message Mapping we get the below error:
Unable to display tree view; Error when parsing an XML document (Character reference "&#00" is an invalid XML character.)
How is a simple value getting converted to some huge value when we open it using view source.
Please help me resolving the same.

looks like there is inconsistency in the RFC maintained in ECC to PI as non unicode.
In RFC channel check the flag for Unicode.
Or
Write a java mapping to remove the special characters

Issue for creation date of Billing document in third party ???

Hello SAP Folks,
This issue is related to third party scenario. The basic requirement is to create to a billing document with a creation date same as
Good issue date of Sales Order.
For your information, with the help of enhacement we have passed on the value of posting date of material document generated
from MIGO to Goods issue date in Sales Order. I am very much aware that setting up a new copying routine would help me but
relating the GI date field of Sales Order from the techincal point of view is a complete work stopper. Could anyone throw light on
the workaround for mapping this case ???

But i would like to say that the billing relevance of the item category has to "B" as this process of Third part Sales talks about creation of billing document after the MIGO. And i am basically interested to Populated the posting date of MIGO for Biling creation date.
In Sales Order, the GI date is modified to Posting date of MIGO through enhancement. I have been looking around relevant tables to fetch the GI date of Sales Order but not getting the right track...
Could anyone provide any other workaround to implement this sort of requirement ???

in which i have partner fuction as PARVW , in which i have to AG and LF
i must must pouplate data if the from the IDOC PARTN if the PARVW is AG to the VENDORCODE in my target
i must must pouplate data if the from the IDOC PARTN if the PARVW is LF to the BUYER in my target
please help how to do it and what condition i must use for this '

Hi,
Since you are mapping them on the target side you can use your IDOC variables in multiple palces if you are mapping graphically.
i.e. 1. VENDOR -> if PARVW is equal to AG then PARTN to VENDORCODE
     2. BUYER -> if PARVW is equal to LF then PARTN to BUYER
Make sure you set the context for both PARVW & PARTN to its upper level parent & not the immediate level.
for eg:
     IDOC
           ---E2EDKA1
                   ---PARVW
                  |
                   ---PARTN
set it to IDOC & not E2EDKA1. if you still have doubts on context you can put your query back...

Value Mapping Replication for Mass Data

Hi SDN,
I have to design an interface in XI 3.0 (SP14 on AIX) for replicating mass data from file databse etc to the XI runtime cache.
I went thru the follwing weblog which proved to be helpful:/people/sreekanth.babu2/blog/2005/02/23/value-mapping-replication
ValueMappingReplicationOut being my Asynchronous outbound interface and ValueMappingReplication being Asynchronous Inbound Interface of in the software component SAP BASIS, software component version SAP BASIS 6.40 in the namespace http//sap.com/xi/XI/System.
Am aware that for this scenario the receiver is predefined (it must be on the Integration Server).
My question here is how do i use the outbound interface to send data to XI. I mean in my case i have a file and SQL server as the sender.
Can somebody detail the steps involved. Suppose i dont want to use ABAP proxy or JAVA proxy HTTP adapter sending the message,
Do i have other options to send data to XI value mapping interface?

When you want to send data from a file, just map the structure from the arriving XML to ValueMappingReplication. There is no need for using the interface ValueMappingReplicationOut or use an ABAP proxy.

Crm mapping field for pricing

Hy Guy
In order to do download of pricing from erp to crm i have used the sap note 514952 - Download of customer-specific tables
I have a problem with a field MATKL that in CRM is ZMATKL; when i run the condition objet to update the custom table with this field, I don't have the complete field. In SAP the field is more long (mp00001).
I have other custom fields and I don't have this problem; the others fields are copied correctly.
Please, have you any advice to give me?

Not sure but the step 2 in the note says that the field name entered for remote field should be the field in structure CND_MAPT_ACS_REM , which you have set as MATKL and in structure you added ZMATKL which is wrong. Anyhow I think the field in the structure CND_MAPT_ACS_REM should be named as MATKL( note specifically speaks, the field name be the same as R/3 field name ) because in CRM field catalog you must have already created a new field as ZMATKL which is on CRM side.
component: R/3 field name.
component type : R/3 equivalent data element.
LFld: Field name you entered into field catalogue in step 2 .
FFld: R/3 field name you entered into structure CND_MAPT_ACS_REM_CUST in step 1.
May be this suggestion be helpful to you.

Where are the changes in R3 captured in ROCANCEL, mapped to for Master data

I have now read extgensively about 0Recordmode and how it becomes part of the DSO and changes in R3, captures in ROCANCEL gets mapped to 0Recordmode.
But when the datasource is a master data, such as 0Plant_Attr, which is going to flow into the InfoObject, 0Plant; we know 0Plant does not containt 0Recordmode as seen in the case of the DSO. So, without 0Recordmode, where are the changes in R3 captured in ROCANCEL, mapped to when it comes to master data, such as 0Plant

0Recordmode is the BW concept in Delta Loading to DSO. It is not R/3 concept.. SAP has provided To make the BW system to understand the entire info about the delta. As you know this is mapped to ROCANCEL.
ROCANCEL holds the changes from R/3 side.
The delta process (how the data is transferred) for the DataSource is determined in the table ROOSOURCE(in the source system)
Properties of the delta process are determined in the table RODELTAM (in BI). So Master Data Changes will be handled by this way.

scenario:calculating net price for material on sales order

For this 5 prices are calculated :

A bapi is developed through which all these data are fetched using joins on transparent and pooled tables.
Bapi is properly working in Sap Environment.But when fetching data from non sap environment(.NET) only pooled tables are returning data.
Transparent tables are returning blank data.
And also if in query of transprent table if in " where Clause " all parameters are hard codded then transparent table also return data in non sap envirnment.
for eg...
instead of writing ---
select data from tranparent table where matnr= (matnr variable made in bapi entered by user) and vkorg=(sales org variable made in bapi) ....same with all conditions
if we write(returing data)----

Purchase Order E- Mail Issue for Vendor .

Dear All Gurus,
User is complaining that a perticular Vendor is not getting Purchase Order throught E MAIL , i had simulated the scenario in Test Client and given an Output Type and in medium given as " 5EXTERNAL SEND ", after that i hd saved the P.O , then clicked on Print Preview but a msg appears in task bar as " E-mail address incorrect or non-existent " , Kindly help me what can i do to fix this problem I also want to know that either there is a problem in System which is responsible for sending E-mails or Vendor Email address is not OK ?

Mapping issue for Idoc to xml

hello all,
 my scenario is idoc to xml file
E1EDKT1-------segment (1:n)
 -TDID----
ele
 -E1EDKT2----segment (1:n)
 -TDLINE-----ele
When TDID value is X then all values in TDLINE of undeline sement E1EDKT2 needs to be cocatenated and passed to target elemnt A
if TDID value is Y then all values in TDLINE of undeline sement E1EDKT2 needs to be cocatenated and passed to target elemnt B
i have written java function(for all values in context) to conctenate TDLINE elements.
also the context of TDLINE is changed to E1EDKT1.
i am getting all the concatenaed values of TDLINE for TDID=X in target element A but i am not geting any value in target element B for TDID=Y
can any one suggest what could be the problem.

Map like this for target element A:
use simple if stament. and for If give TDID equals(text function) to constant X
and for then TDLINE-->concattdline(udf) --> output A
Map like this for target element B:
use simple if stament. and for If give TDID equals(text function) to constant Y
and for then TDLINE-->concattdline(udf) --> output B
concattdline udf:
Create a Context udf with one argument a and name it as concattdline.
Imports: java.*;
Add this code:

Mapping Issue for IDoc to JDBC interface

Hi All,
I am having problem in implementing logic in IDoc to JDBC interface where I have to filter out E1WBB07-KSCHL = VKP0.
Source IDoc structure is like ->
E1WBB01(occ 0 -1000)
|-> E1WBB03 (occ 0-100)
 |-> E1WBB07(occ 0-1000)
 |-> KSCHL
 DATAB
 DATBI
Now, For each KSCHL = VKA0 there should be a duplicate VKP0 record. From these 2 records only the VKA0 should get processed and VKP0 ignored.
Duplicates for VKP0 and VKA0 can be identified by identical DATAB and DATBI.
Suppose, in one E1WBB03 segment,there are 4 E1WBB07 segment having following values.
1: KSCHL=VKP0, DATAB=20102011, DATBI=25102011
2: KSCHL=VKP0, DATAB=26102011, DATBI=30102011
3: KSCHL=VKA0, DATAB=26102011, DATBI=30102011
4: KSCHL=VKP0, DATAB=01112011, DATBI=31129999
2 & 3 are duplicates. From these, 2 should get dropped.
As a result only 1, 3 and 4 should get processed.
How can I proceed with this..?...I have tried some work around but not able to do it successfully. Is a UDF required to compare DATAB and DATBI. If yes how it can be written.?
