Eclipse Error during Database Studio startup

I have some MaxDB 7.7 and 7.8 databases on SLES11 x86_64. There is no Windows machine nearby so I cannot use good old (stable!) DBMGUI but I have to switch over to this fancy Databse Studio tool. Installation was no problem, but during there startup I get some error messages:

Can you please tell me from where we will exact this .jar file, bcoz we have search lotzz but we helpless.
We install from this link http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=21599--> we download sqljdbc_3.0.1301.101_enu file >sqljdbc_3.0>enu-->in that I find sqljdbc.jar and sqljdbc4.jar files only . I cant above said .jar files.

Error during database connection (JDBC)

When I try testing my connection to MSSQL (using sender JDBC channel) in communication channel monitoring (RWB)i can read that Error explanation:
Error during database connection to the database URL 'jdbc:microsoftsqlserver://<DB_IP_ADRESS>:1433;databaseName=XXXX' using the JDBC driver 'com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver': 'com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.sql.DriverManagerException: Unable to locate a suitable JDBC driver to establish a connection to URL 'jdbc:microsoftsqlserver://<DB_IP_ADRESS>:1433;databaseName=XXXX''
Before I did the communication channel configuration I did the driver instalation and deploy like in document "HowTo_ConfigExtAdapters". In Adapter Monitor (RWB) i can see the JDBC adapter instaled and started (gray square).
Any idea what is wrong?

A clean install: Old MaxDB 7.6 was first uninstalled.
OS: Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition R2 on VMWare
2x Xeon 3.66 Ghz
3,75 GB memory
The install log indicates no problems other than the following:
WRN: cannot execute command: "C:/DOCUME1/ADMINI1/LOCALS~1/Temp/1/Max6.tmp\vcredist_x86.exe" /Q:a /c:"msiexec.exe /qn /i vcredist.msi": cannot create process, The system cannot find the file specified.

The error message:

usually indicates that a wrong Java Version was used to run Database Studio. Database Studio needs Java 1.5 to run.
Please check your Java installation and your JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to the Java 1.5 installation.

Error during this APL startup period - PI 7.0 SPS13

When we need to perform some maintenance in an application Server, we are stop this APL. During these steps, no problem in the XI System.
We have the same procedure to startup and we only put APL again, the central instance is not affect and all XI components will be running well, but during the APL startup, in the SMGW transaction we can see the ID AI_RUNTIME_XP0 for this APL, before all XI components will be available.
This situation is causing a lot of problems in the interfaces. During
this startup period, we can see this error messages

JCO_SYSTEM_FAILURE ErrorText:
ErrorStack: "SYSTEM FAILURE" during JCo call. Bean

(In this example, the APL was apl54).
Is there a special procedure to boot the APL ?

If I understand your question right, you want to know if there is a best practice to stop and restart an application server which is a part of your XI landscape? If my assumptions are right, for the fact that you are trying to bring down an application server means you have more than one app server and they are in a load balanced mode. If yes, you might want to first remove the application server from the RFC group (RZ12) which will prevent any new messages hitting this server. Then, once all the messages that are still under processing in this app server are completed, you can bring the server down, do the maintainance and bring it up. Once up, add it to the RFC group again. Same procedure applies for the java server nodes on this app server as well.

Error in Database Studio: Connect to user management database not possible

Hello,
Everytime I start the Database Studio 7.9 (the latest version 7.9.08.18) it show me the following error:
Could not access to user management
See Window -> Show View -> Event Log Viewer for more details
In Event Log Viewer I see the following information/errors/warnings:
Connect to user management database not possible. Try to use/create local default user management
Undefined result row
This error always appears in anything I do in the Database Studio application!
How can I correct this error? Can you help me please?
Any tips?

Error during Database Instance Installation

Hi,
We are installing SAP CRM 4.0.Central Instance Installation is over without problem.However during Database Instance Installation we are getting an Error which says :
"The node E:\sap\DATA does not exist".
I created this folder manually.Then is gave another error saying
"Node C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\CRM_40SR1_ABAP_UC\DB\CRM\DATA does not exist."
I created this again.Then it gave another Error saying :
"Node C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\CRM_40SR1_ABAP_UC\DB\4.0\DATA does not exist."
Why is this error coming up again and again and any solution to this problem?

This is happening because installation program is checking the existence of DB Export directories which you specified to the installation program. It has to do with the installation screen where you specify the location of your DB Export CD/DVD during installation of Database instance. Usually what helps is if you copy the DB Export CD's to a directory in your hard disk and specify that as the target for copy. Just check what you are specifying DB Export parameter screen.

Hi,
I would try adding epdadm and SAPServiceEPD accounts to Administrators group and give Administrators full access to sapmnt shared area. Also double check SAP_EPD_GlobalAdmin domain admin authority and SAP_LocalAdmin and SAP_EPD_LocalAdmin accounts.
Open
DCASAPHR05\sapmnt\EPD\SYS\profile folder using explorer and created file and see if there is any authorzation issues with domail\sapinst account.

Error during visual studio 2013 intallation on windows 8.1

After installing windows sdk 8.1, I've decided to install visual studio 2013,when it reached 70% of the installation process it stopped and told me that I have vGraphic data error(data redundancy) what is that??? and how can I fix it,this is the logs file:

For the error code “-2147024873” which is 0x80070017, it means “Data error (cyclic redundancy check)”. I recommend you run the Chkdsk.exe tool to check
the disk for errors:
Click
Start, and then click Run.
Type
cmd in the Open box, and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type
Chkdsk /f, and then press ENTER.
Press Y when you are prompted to check the disk next time that the system restarts.
Close all applications and restart the computer.
Note: During the restart process, Windows checks the disk for errors and then starts.

Here are the steps that i followed,
(1)I am Installing SAP XI on Windows 2003 server standard edition with oracle 9i as database.
(2)I copied the DVDs to HARD DRIVE
(3)I created the Microsoft Loopback adapter,assigned an ip.
(4) Then installed j2sdk 1.4.2 for windows
(5) installed central instance with SAPinst

As part of creating DataBase source for SES...
We created a table testing_data_for_ses(URL,CONTENT,LASTMODIFIEDDATE,KEY,LANG)
and also the view

We just provided the view name....and hence the DataBase source got created successfully.
Now we have two scenarios here
1)
DataBase source in SES with parameter value for URL Prefix : http://<SES-Hostname>
Now when we searched for content... The SES gets us the results....
However when we clicked on the searched result(which is http://<SES-HostName>:<SES-port>/search/query/redirect.jsp?qid=161&did=2001&pos=1&idx=1&fid=)...it says cannot find server...but when i click on cached link(which is http://devilrays.appsassociates.com:7782/search/query/cache.jsp?id=2001&q=row3&fid=)... i could see the whole content.
2)

Please also check your database. Check if there is enough space for writing db logs.

Netbeans error during Sun Studio 12 install

I am trying to install Sun Studio 12 on a SunFire X4140 running Solaris 10 5/08. When I run the ./prepare_system -s netbeans command, I get the following error,
"Preparation failed at step netbeans."
The Sun Studio 12 [Release Notes|http://docs.sun.com/source/820-2063/release_notes.html] state:
"This failure occurs because the NetBeans installation software needs to find a compatible version of the Java runtime environment either in your search path, or at one of these explicit installation points: /usr/jdk/latest/bin/java OR /usr/jdk/jdk1.5.0_09/bin/java".
I have confirmed that "/usr/jdk/latest/bin/java" is installed- in fact it was installed by running "./prepare_system -s java". I have even changed the path to include "/usr/jdk/latest/bin" and still no go.
Please advise.

I would recommend to use latest Sun Studio Express 07/08 if possible.
It is distributed as tar.bz2 archive wrapped by shell script.
If you need to install a packaged version of Sun Studio you could try next workaround:
- find zip NetBeans 5.5.1 on you media ( should be in the folder archives-...)
- unpack it into subdirectory /opt
However in this case you will need to check that it could be run properly (find java) by yourself.

How do you find out if the server is unavailable during CreateObject?
When I call CreateObject when the server is down it just hangs and never returns.
