What do you mean by "editable"?
Do you mean that the contents of the list will change depending on other input from the user, or do you mean that the user can actually change/edit the contents of the list while being displayed?

I mean, you have dropdown list box with some options.
They will not be editable in the normal scenario. I want one of the options to be editable, similar to a textbox , when selected.

Listbox items cannot be edited directly in the control: what you can do is to select a line an, transfer its content to a textbox control, edit text there and move text back to the listbox control. Available interactions with the listbox control are listed in the help.
An alternative to it is to use a tree customized to appear like a listbox: tree item labels can be edited directly in the control, at least those in the base column of the tree. You can look at the example \samples\userint\treelist.cws that shows how a tree can be customized this way. I haven't opened it, but this old example too should show the ability to edit tree cells.

ADF Faces Dependent list boxes in an editable table

Hi,
I'm working with JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0.
I saw the topic "How to build dependent list boxes with ADF II" on F. Nimphius' Blogbuster.
There it is shown how to handle dependent list boxes in an ADF Faces form. I tried this for an editable table but it doesn't work correctly: If there is more than one row in the resultset of the table, both dependent list boxes have the same content in all the rows though the content in the database is different.
Can anyone help me?

It works fine, when the user only want to update existing rows. But if he had inserted a new row and afterwards want to update existing rows, the listboxes don't show the correct contents. No error messages are displayed.

Is there any option to be set so that the multicolumn list box column and row can't be editable on run time

In my application i am using multicolumn list box. Usually while running the program the column width is editable.
in my program i should be able to select or hightlight the row , but should not be able to edit the row or column size.Is there any property node that have to be set so that the multi column list box colum widthshould not be editable while the program is running.

Can't you just right-click and disable column resize?

List Box Problem In MODULE POOL PROGRAM(EDIT MODE)

I Have Developed A MODULE POOL PROGRAM ,
It Basically Consists Of CREATE EDIT and DISPLAY Modes.
CREATE MODE:
When I am Creating For Example FORM NO 1,it is having Fields With drop down list box with values
A,B and C. if I Choose A then That form will Get Created With A value and Form 1 will be created.
EDIT MODE:
The same form If u want to edit In EDIT Mode ,it is displaying value A and it Showing the list box in the fillowing Manner.A,B,C,and A.(This is what the problem I am Facing Know).It Is Displaying the value two times.How to Avoid this ,PLs Help me in this regard.

Where ever you are populating the List Box, write a REFRESH statement just before that.
Means Refresh the old content and add new content

Editable combo box - changing list

hey all,
I have to capture a code, which may be one of many types, and have planned on using an editable combo box, which narrows down the available options as the user types into it - as many programs use.
Problem is that I'm not sure what it is I need to do to make this work. So far I've got my own ComboBoxModel implementation, and I had tried listening to edit changes, and changing the list based on that. Problem is I cant mutate in the middle of the notification, so no luck there.
Anyone have any ideas how to make this work?

How to move up the List Box for para. values in the "Edit Values" window?

Hi,
I am using Crystal Reprots 11.
I create 10 subreports, and each subreport contains a Parameters Field.
The 10 subreports are put in 10 footer sections in increasing order, i.e. subreport1, subreport2, subreport3, ..., subreport10.
When I use "Print Preview" to take a look at the whole report, CR prompts a "Edit Values" window for selecting parameter values.
Maybe because I created subreport3 & subreport4 after I completed other subreports, the List Box with the values required to select for subreport3 & subreport4 were located at the bottom of the "Edit Values" window.
How to move List Box with the values required to select for subreport3 & subreport4 up to the proper location (based on the order of subreports) in the "Edit Values" window?

Hi,
Yes, that is true. The subreport parameters are prompted in the order you insert the subreport.
The only way to fix this is to save subreports from 5 through 10 (Right-click subreport > select Save Subreport as) first.
So, now all you have is Subreports 1, 2 and 3. Go ahead and add the Subreports from 5 to 10 in order and the prompts should be in order too.

Your question title & the message you ve posted are contradictory to each other.
Normally a Multicolumn Listbox is a non-editable one, in that while you run you wont get the labeling tool to type some text.
I think you can instead use a Table to achieve your purpose. Also see the below link.

How to un-check everything in a Multi-selection list box in SP2013?

When a radio button is selected/un-selected, i would like to clear all the checkboxes that were checked in a MSLB. I created a rule for the condition but in the action, how to create this uncheck action?

yes, that's what I've done but still not working. I even downloaded the sp,
InfoPath 2013 (KB2837648) 32-Bit Edition
and it still doesn't work. In the screen shot attached, ml prefix is for Multi-selection list box. So, in mlImprovement, if the Communication checkbox isn't checked then set the Multi-selection list box, Communicaiton, to blank so it should
show no selection.
In the preview of Infopath 2013, I would check Communication in mlImprovement and then check a couple of checkboxes in mlCommunicaiton. I then uncheck and check Communicaiton in mlImprovement and those previously checked checkboxes remains.
I have been very frstrated working the MLSB infopath 2013. there are other issues that does't work either. Please advise if I'm missing a step here and there, thank you.

How to use value in a drop-down list box as "With these Values" parameter?

Hello, new user.
I have a drop-down list box on Page 1, upon which the user can choose a study number. The List Box is named "P1_STUDY_NBR".
Then I have a list, one entry of which goes to my master-detail form, which is Page 6. I would like it to go to the study number that the user choose on Page 1.
In my target on the create/edit list entry, I put in "Page in this Application", "Page 6", then in Set these items, I put in
P6_STUDY_NBR
My question is what to use in With these values, where I want the contents of the P1_STUDY_NBR. I tried:
&P1_STUDY_NBR
and that does not work. If I put in one of the study numbers, like 336-00, then it does work, but I want it to pass the study number the user chooses in the list box. How do I refer to the contents of P1_STUDY_NBR?

Yes, that does work, thanks. I'm now getting the default value I was putting in yesterday rather than an error message, so there must be something loading it, but I'll hunt around for what process might be doing that, or try re-creating the master-detail form again.

Index of Values in the List Boxes on a Selection Screen

Hi,
I have a list box on the selection screen for Month field. It has the values Jan, Feb, Mar....etc in it.
These entries, I added thru the VRM_SET_VALUES.
Now, I want to default the month to current month SY-DATUM+4(2).
Is there any FM to which I can send this SY-DATUM+4(2) as an Index and the corresponding value gets set for the Month field.
As an alternatvie, I could use Case Sy-DATUM+4(2). when '01'. p_month = 'Jan'. etc etc.. But I want to avoid this big case statement.
Please suggest.

Try to use the func MONTH_NAMES_GET.It will
return the month name along with the number.
And also you can directly select from table T247

Is it possible to enter our own value in dropdown list box in Module Pool. How?

Dear Experts,
Being new to ABAP, I am trying my hands on Dropdownlist box on Module Pool.
I want to pull data from Ztable(Custom Table) into Dropdown list box on Screen in Module pool and be able to edit it, delete it and enter new data through it, thus thereby able to manage the Ztable. Is it possible in dropdown.

Thanks. But why sud I write an event in Table maintenance generator. My code is in Module Pool and it has no connection with Table Msintenance.
The I/O field Drop down list box is on the Screen in my Module Pool. I am able to pull data in it from Ztable but now I want to edit this pulled data and also want to enter new data in this dropdown list box.

Bug editing list Items using webpart connections ,group by and inline editing

Hi Everyone. I came across a bug using out of the box features.
Let me explain well the details to reproduce the error. I used :
*2 Lists :
-List one : the consumer list with two columns :
-Number column
-Choice column
-List two :
The sender list with one column :
-Lookup column to gets the number column on the consumer list
*A webpart Page
*2 listviewwebparts in the webpart page
*Connect webparts to filter by the lookup column/number column
*Add inline editing in the consumer webpart
Till now everything works perfectly, inline editing works fine. Let's add some more view details :
*Add a group by in the view of the consumer webpart (group by the choice column)
=> Try to edit list items, you will notice that inside a group, inline editing is OK and inside another group it doesnt work!
If you get the same error, that would be nice to find where is the problem (I already found a similar bug and the problem was the sorting that needs to be in the same way for both connected webparts , ASC or DESC). But this one... ???

According to your description, I create the consumer list and sender list, create a webpart page , add a chioce filter webpart and consumer list webpart. But after I add a group by in the view of the consumer webpart, the inline edit still work fine.
