Editable TableView (similar to Access datasheet)

What is the easiest way to implement a TableView similar to an Access datasheet in JavaFX 2 with the following features:
1) all cells are TextAreas and can be edited directly (with the textProperty bound to the data model)
2) if the text in the TextArea wraps the row height enlarges to fit all the text
3) one click on a cell selects all text, two clicks will put the curser on the location where the mouse was clicked
4) tab key will move to the next cell (or next row if in the last column)
5) an empty row will always exist on the bottom to be used for a new record

By actually typing some code?
Come on, you suppossedly know what you want, so start in with it.
I hope you know JDBC and have at least some experience with JTable, Drag-n-Drop, and other Swing elements. And, of course, at least a working knowledge of POI or JExcel.

Steven is correct, you never can go back to an earlier version with Adobe Premiere with the project file. If your preceding version was CC you might try the trial version of CC 2014, but remember that once you enter the trial version cycle you never can go back.
There was a way to hack the project file on the CS versions but that disappeared with CC.

On Mac, try looking in:
/Users/dug.geo/Documents/Digital Editions
On Windows, look for "Digital Editions" in "My Documents". If it's not there, look one level above "My Documents".
If you know the filename of the PDF, you could also try doing a file system search for it.

Sharepoint 2010: prevent users from editing a list in the datasheet view

Hi,
I have a sharepoint 2010 list that I need to prevent users to edit from the datasheet view. This is because I have edited the add item form on sharepoint designer and included some custom code. Moreover, I need to allow the users to view the list in datasheet
view to make use of the datasheet custom filter view feature which is not available in the standard view. So I need users to access the datasheet view of the list in read mode only but be able to edit the list in standard view only. Is this possible? How?

Maybe this helps...I found some users having the problem that the list WAS read only in datasheet view...this is a list of reasons why this could happen:
Certain columns, such as Created By and Modified, are always read-only. Values for these columns are entered automatically.
The changes you made to the selected row or column have been submitted to the server. If there is no conflict or error, you will be able to edit the row or column after the changes have been saved.
There is an unresolved conflict or error in the selected row or column. Resolve the conflict or error before attempting to edit the selected row or column.
The list is set up to require content approval, and you are viewing the list in the All Items view.
In the My Submissions view of a list that requires content approval, the
Approval Status and Comment column are read-only. Only a user with Manage Lists right can edit these two columns.
Attachments are read-only in a list that requires content approval. You cannot view or edit attachments in any of the views.
The document in the current row has been checked out by a user. You cannot edit the columns in the row until the user checks the document in.
You do not have permission to edit the column or row. Contact the list author for more information.

How can I edit data in Microsoft access using ActiveX

I've tried to modify Read Access DB with ActiveX to edit an entry in my database, but I get the following error
Exception occured in DAO.Field, Update or CancelUpdate without AddNew or Edit..

Did you try to do the same thing in LabVIEW (the same order, after you have the right reference to the recordset). I know this kind of problem from VB too. I didn't try it in LV but I supposed it should be the same.
Let me know if it doesn't work.

Editing Portal Pages and Access Rights

I want to give some specific users the ability to edit certain pages within portal. When I change the page "Access Properties" to "Enable Item Level Security" and then add users under "Change Access" with "Manage Content" as their privilege, I expect Portal to only allow those persons to see the EDIT link for the page. However, I see that ALL users with VIEW privileges can see the EDIT link but nothing is available to them to edit...unless they click on the "Navigator" link and then they can SEE the different page groups. What's more is that there is a link beside each page group to MAKE A COPY of it!
YIKES!!! This is not desirable!
How do I set this up so that only specified users see the EDIT link and only allow these users to edit the page(s)?

I wondered across a blurb on Metalink just last week that mentions if Item level Security is enabled on a page, all users will see the edit link (assuming you have one on the page). Apparently, this is to prevent a performance hit that would occur if the portal had to go through every item on the page to see if that user had edit rights.
One solution would be to disable item level security. Assuming, that isn't possible (it wasn't for us), you could also remove those users' navigator access. That way they won't see the navigator link in edit mode. Finally, depending on how your users are setup, you can also limit access to the edit link if it is on a nav bar for example. I enabled item level security on the nav bar I use and limited access to the edit link to those users I knew had to see the edit link.

Are Aperture's editing tools similar to or better than PS Elements?

Are the editing tools in Aperture similar to or better than PS Elements?
I'm an amateur photographer - I need images for my web site - plants and gardens, mostly, I have a perennial plant nursery.
I've been using PS Elements 2.0 to manipulate images, mostly rotation, sharpen resizing, adjusting contrast....
Aperture sounds very interesting - the tools for viewing and comparing images sound more graceful and easy to use.

Out of interest, I went over to the Adobe Lightroom forums and found the following:
"Lightroom is aimed at being a workflow for handling raw camera images doing mostly global corrections. Photoshop Elements is meant for handling processed images mostly and allows you to do fine local adjustments
Global means adjustments which are applied to the entire image such as tonal correction etc whereas localized corrections are something like removing a hair out of place, doing composite images, or removing red-eye."
Lightroom is Adobe's soon-to-be competing product, so it's basically equivalent to Aperture (until you look at the details - but that's another topic). The comments quoted above are relevant to Aperture as well.

IE crashes when editing a list view in datasheet view

Using MOSS 2007;
We have a list which crashes browser (IE 8) when the list is edited in datasheet view. I've figured out that a Multi-line text field is causing this issue. I've created a view
without this field and the edit in datasheet is working fine. This is not a permission issue for sure. Anybody
have any idea, please advice.
Update:
- This issue is in only one user's machine, others are able to edit without any issue.

Thanks Vijay for your suggestion. So finally I got the user to try your suggestion and unfortunately the issue still persists.
One strange thing we noticed is - this issue is with only one list - apparently user can use the Datasheet view for other lists. Now it's not a list specific issue as another affected user can use this DataSheet view from another computer and I can't reproduce
this issue from my computer even though I've two different versions of the 'STSList.dll'.
Any other suggestion?
Here is what we tried so far without success:
We found roughly 11 of the 'STSList.dll' in his C drive - out of those 2 were in Program Files folder. Since
the user has Office 2010 and Designer 2007 installed, we moved the DLL from the Office12 folder to test. this did not fix the issue.
Ran repair Office Program from Control Panel - no luck
Deleted the registry entry "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{65BCBEE4-7728-41A0-97BE-14E1CAE36AAE}" as per this

Tried running IE in 8 mode and 9 Compatibility mode..no luck
Affected computers's Office version - Office Prof Plus 2010 (64 bit), IE 9 and Window 7

Javascript validation on editable tableview column

Hi,
Sample scenario:
I have provided users with an option to enter say quantity in an editable column of tableview in all 5-6 rows. Now I want to check if the entered quantity is a numeric field or not.
Query:
had it been a single input field I could have written:

followed bt the required check
but in this case there is an editable column of a table view and so I am unable to identify the element to write the javascript.

Use tableView iterator method render_cell_start to define a call a javascript function for validation of entered value.

Now in the layout of BSP page you define the JS function
checkQTY(val,name)
and check the entered value and the name of inputield where it was entered.
This name of inputfield will change dynamicaly when ever a new row is selected and page is refeshed.

Premiere elements crashes when trying to access the edit tab features

Hi. I've just loaded premiere elements and started up a new project. I was then browsing through the software to get an idea what it was about. When I clicked on the orange edit tab this gives access to the effects,transitions,titles,themes and clip art screens but when I click on the transitions icon the programme crashes. Everything else seems o.k. I've also tried accessing the transitions through Window - Transitions but it crashes. I suspected that it might just be that the programme hadn't installed properly so I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Still same problem. I've a computer with core duo processor, 4Gb ram and 3Tb of hard disk with ample free space. Anybody had similar problems?

SQL Server 2012 - Capacity Limits by Edition

I have a question about the capacity limits of SQL Server 2012.
The documentation http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143760.aspx points to an interesting limitation of the SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Edition:
Enterprise Edition with Server + Client Access License (CAL) based licensing is limited to a maximum of 20 cores per SQL Server instance.
This sounds like a technical limitation. How does the Enterprise Edition know that it is running in CAL based licensing and not in Core mode? I know that older Editions like SQL 2000 had a tool to set the license mode. Is there a similar tool available for
SQL 2012?
