Editing the values of a JTable

I am trying to allow the user to edit the values of a JTable. I have captured the event of editing the table, but I can't find out how to know what the new value of cell is... it always gets reverted to the old value.
I can't find any method or way how to know what the new value is.
Any help?

We were using JDK1.6.0_29 and it was not supporting ODI 11.1.1.5, so we have uninstalled the JDK1.6.0_29 and reinstall the JDK1.6.0_11.This solves our issue.

Edited/Changed Value tracking in Jtable

how will i keep track of all the values of a only those cells that are edited(changed) in Jtable having multiple row and columns.
The reason for this is that I want to build a dynamic update query which updates only those cells(JTable corresponds to a resultset) that are changed.

Swing: when trying to get the values from a JTable inside an event handler

Hi,
I am trying to write a graphical interface to compute the Gauss Elimination procedure for solving linear systems. The class for computing the output of a linear system already works fine on console mode, but I am fighting a little bit to make it work with Swing.
I put two buttons (plus labels) and a JTextField . The buttons have the following role:
One of them gets the value from the JTextField and it will be used to the system dimension. The other should compute the solution. I also added a JTable so that the user can type the values in the screen.
So whenever the user hits the button Dimensiona the program should retrieve the values from the table cells and pass them to a 2D Array. However, the program throws a NullPointerException when I try to
do it. I have put the code for copying this Matrix inside a method and I call it from the inner class event handler.

4. I think problem maybe is related with row key, but I need end user to change rowkey column value. does it allow changing the value of column as row key? I found this problem maybe only occur for new created row. For those existing rows, even I change the value of row key column, no such problem occurred, how do I handle this situation?

I didn't create master records, I just used joint queries for information display of both master and detail. I am trying to create a row in the UI table to create a new detail record and master record already exists.
The row key for new added row in UI rich table is [21 null ], row key of detail records table composes of 2 columns. 21 is for FixedSlotId and null is for SlotFromN. when I provide a new value for SlotFromN column in UI rich table, problem will occur.

How to edit the value in the email activity in process flow

I have an email activity in my process flow.
I want to change the value for the message body of the email activity. But it is not editable. While creation all the columns are in editable mode and after deploying and testing, i want to change the body of the email to be sent.
How can i do it now? Please advice. This issue is in 6.0.4 release.

got the solution after so much research !
in 6.0.4, only way we can change the value for the message body or subject is to change the associate email procedure. which is something like edx_rpt_email.

How to get the value from a cell in jTable without click "enter" or "tab"

Hi guys,
I have a simple question. I have a jTable in my screen and when editing a value, but without click "enter" or "tab" I want to get the new value. I have a button update and after editing the value I click the button "update" and I want the new value to be store in my table. If try to get the selected value it is giving the old value. How can I implement this? Any idea? I hope I was clear.

Edit the INITIAL values in Layer...Layer Styles...Drop Shadow dialogue box

How can I edit the values in Layer...Layer Styles...Drop Shadow dialogue box so that values that appear when I FIRST OPEN the box are the values I use commonly?
For example, once I open the dialogue box, the Blend Mode is always "Multiply" and the Angle is always "120". I always use "Normal" and "45". Is there a place where I can make my default values "Normal" and "45"?

Which version of photoshop are you using?
Newer versions of photoshop have a Make Default button at the bottom of the dialog.

How to change the value in a matrix...

Hi,
I want to update the price field in the Sales Order matrix. This I want to do as soon as the user selects the Item from the choose window. I trapped the ItemEvent of the SAPSBOUIApplication. But after getting the control of the matrix I am unable to see or edit the value in it. Please guide me how to do it? More better it would be if any one can explain me with one sample on how to insert our own logic in the existing flow of any transaction and modify values as per our new logics.

How can I edit the password entries?

How can I edit the values in password manager? Right now for at least one site has the username instead of the password.

Note that your System Details List shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize some prefs on each start of Firefox with a possible feed.snapdo.com infection.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created it, so normally it wouldn't be there.
You should check its content with a plain text editor if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time you start Firefox and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

Edit the 'Employment status' field in IT 0000

Normally the Employment status is greyed out and not editable when we are running Personnel actions . It defaults Active, Inactive , Withdrawn as per the settings that we have made.
Is there a standard way that this field is editable when we are running the Action , for eg. org reassignment. ..

Thanks for your reply! We are not going to edit the field name. We are looking to edit the field value. For example, in the output file, we have 100 different trading records and each of them will have different commission. The users hope they can edit the value of the commission for each record. I have tried with Crystal and it seems that I can edit the field but all records will have same value for the column. Do you know if we can edit the value of commission for each record?

How to end showing the JTextfild in a JTable, after the user ended editing?

I created a JTable with an own TableModel and I wrote my own
editingStopped function:

Well everything works fine, except that the JTextfield doesnt go away after the user clicked on another cell. How can I return to show the cell instead of the JTextfield used for editing?
