EEDMSETTLIN table has no entries
Hi Experts,
I have created a custom settlement procedure with custom steps and custom parameters.
I have maintained the grid in the settlement unit and the same grid in the installation and PoD.
I have created a custom selection type 99 to represent "injected energy'.
When I create a settlement document, the run fails and on debugging I find that there is no entry in table EEDMSETTLIN.
I am not sure what's wrong with the data setup, or what is the error ?
Pls let me know. Also if you need more details on the query, I can share those as well.

Here is an informations found in the guidelines for the development of settlement procedures :
"In a settlement run, the allocated points of delivery are determined for every settlement unit. The point of delivery is allocated to a settlement unit indirectly via the point of delivery services allocated to the point of delivery.
The system checks each point of delivery to determine whether readings are measured using an interval meter or a regular consumption meter. For interval reading, you can determine the allocation of the consumption value to the point of delivery using the allocation of the interval meter to the point of delivery. In the case of cumulative consumption measurement, the synthetic load profile is allocated to the installation and therefore also to the point of delivery.
Several installations and allocated profiles can exist for each settlement-relevant point of delivery. As a result, information on the service type for settlement procedure, the definition of selection types and profile allocation roles is taken into account.
Points of delivery for each settlement unit and its corresponding consumption profile are determined in one settlement step. The allocation of PoDs to the settlement units is taken from the EEDMUISETTLUNIT table that is synchronized via the CL_ISU_EDM_UI_SETTLUNIT class. An indicator that controls the settlement-relevance of a PoD is also managed at this level.
The selection results are saved in the following tables in the database:
EEDMSETTLUF for synthetic profiles including consumption factors. The synthetic profile number also contains information about the customer group a (non-interval) customer belongs to.
EEDMSETTLIN for load shapes (measured using an interval meter)
Non-interval customer profiles are selected in two paths:
Selection using the registers directly allocated to the PoDs (technical point of delivery)
Selection using the installations allocated to the PoDs (deregulation point of delivery)
The system checks whether a profile is included in the settlement (of a settlement run) more than once for a period via the deregulation point of delivery of the installation or via a (different) technical point of delivery (imported, for example, using the profile values). If this is the case, the system diagnoses an error and terminates the settlement.
Once the grid selection function is activated in the settlement procedure, the grid identification is determined for each billing-relevant point of delivery."So you have to figure out why your profile with values is not taked in account by the settlement procedure. I the role of your profile the same that the role of the input parameters ? Is your POD selected in EEDMUISETTLUNIT ?

Normally I can find out which Web Templates are available from which role by looking in table AGR_HIER and select Extended name=SAP_BW_BTMP.
When I look in the table now, the Unique ID field is blank for the newest added entries. Has SAP changed the way these informations are stored? Where can I find the information now?

Would searching for the &template_id= values give you the info you are looking for?
I can see what you were looking for in AGR_HIER via Extended name = SAP_BW_TEMPLATE on our BI systems which are on BI 7, so still seem to holding such info.
If I compare AGR_HIER with AGR_BUFFI I can see such info via AGR_BUFFI, which as it only holds the links and not the full menu structure seems a bit clearer to me.

Need to hide row when table has 1 entry in adobe
Dear Experts,
I have made select statement in Initialization and in context i have called Table EKPO and under that EKET based on EBELP where clause. Then I have called Sub form for both Tables and made as EKPO(Role Body Row) EKET(Role Table for subform1, Role Body row for subform2)
Eg: Table EKPO
Table EKET
Need to hide if EKET has one row for that, I want to know number of rows in table, if row 1 then need to hide otherwise need to show in adobe.

According to your description, there is main report and subreport in it, when the subreport spans across multiple pages, you want to show column headers on each page. If that is the case, we can set column headers visible while scrolling in main report.
For detail information, please refer to the following steps:
In design mode, click the small drop down arrow next to Column Groups and select Advanced Mode.
Go to your Row Groups pane, click on the first static member.
In properties grid, set FixData to True.
Set RepeatOnNextPage to True.

Error:Table TCURC has 0 entries in every new client

When I create a new client using client copy of DDIC the new client's Table TCURC has 0 entries. I try 3 to 4 times but result is same.
how can I import all the 191 entries to this client's Table TCURC?

To transport some entry of your table, or all the records, use the transaction SE16, and select all the desired record.
Go to Table Entry, and select Transport Entries. The system ask you to create a transport request.

Search a text in a multiple tables and one table has BLOB column

I couldn't find a solution/examples for below scenario in oracle text documentation or related forums.
I need to search a text in a multiple tables,in that one table has blob column which is used to store the documnents(pdf,doc,jpg..etc) and other tables have varchar2 columns,These tables have realation each other.
Please provide a sample examples for above scenario.

That describes two methods of achieving what you are looking for. -
Table has 85 GB data space, zero rows
This table has only one column. I ran a transaction that inserted more than a billion rows into this table but then rolled it back before completion.
This table currently has zero rows but a select statement takes about two minutes to complete, and waits on I/O.
The interesting thing here is that previous explanations to this were ghost records in case of deletes,
there are none. m_ghostRecCnt is zeroed for all data pages.
This is obviously not a situation in which the pages were placed in a deferred-drop queue either, or else the page count would be decreasing over time, and it is not.

Querying the allocation units system catalog shows that all pages are counted as "used".
I saw some articles, such as the ones listed bellow, which addresses similar situations where pages arent deleted in a HEAP after a delete operation. It turns out pages are only deleted in a table when a table level lock is issued.

To rule this out, I inserted another 100k rows which caused no change on page counts, and then deleted all entries with a TABLOCK query hint. Only one page was deleted.
So, it appears we have a problem with pages that were created during a transaction that was rolled back, huh? I guess rolling back a transaction doesn't take certain physical factors into consideration.
I've looked everywhere but couldn't find a satisfactory answer to this. Does anybody have any ideas?

Try TRUNCATE TABLE. Or ALTER TABLE tbl REBUILD.

I rebuilt the HEAP a while ago, and then all pages were gone. I don't know if TRUNCATE would have the same results, I would have to repeat the test to find that out. There are many ways to fix the problem itself, including creating a clustered index as Satish

Id like to focus on this interesting fact I wanted to bring to the table for discussion: You open a transaction, insert a huge load of records and then roll back. Why would the engine leave the pages created during the transaction behind? More specifically,
why would they not be marked as "free pages" if they are all empty? Why are they not marked as free so scans would skip them and not generate a lot of I/O throughput and long response times just to query a zero row table? Isn't this like a design
flaw or a bug?

Has anybody seen an issue with iBooks Author where they get an extra blank Table of Contents entry at the beginning of the book?
In iBooks Author, my TOC shows 10 entries. Yet when it is exported to ibooks format, the ibook contains 11 TOC entries, with the first one being blank.
The template I used has a placeholder for Intro Media which I did not use, and I'm wondering if this is part of the problem. Yet I can't find anywhere to disable putting Intro Media into the book, and because the TOC entry is blank, I can't tell what it is actually trying to point to.

KatrinaI believe it was the first example. Here's a screenshot that sort of illustrates the problem.
Chapter 1 - Introduction, is actually the 4th TOC entry, but is the 5th highlighted dot on the bottom (there are title, copyright, and dedication pages prior). I don't have a screenshot of what's displayed when the first dot is highlighted (the error condition). Note a total of 11 dots at the bottom.
Interestingly, the following screenshot comes from the same reading session, I believe, and the TOC looks fine.
When I asked my tester to try to obtain a screenshot of the blank entry, he reloaded the file and the problem had disappeared. Note the now correct 10 dots at the bottom, with title page correctly highlighted as first.
So, thanks for your help KT, but I'm going to have to chalk this one up to an unreproducible glitch, or something strange on first-time loads. Reminds me of the infamous software testing line: "works on my machine". ;-) -

I'm getting the following error ..... The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost .... in the following scenario ....
My 1st page is a search page with resulting rows from which the user can select specific rows to process ..... next button will populate the VO for the 2nd page by manually looping thru the selected rows in the VO of the 1st page. Loop logic is in the AM and it calls a method in the VORowImpl that uses setAttributeInternal .... the 2nd page displays the selected rows .....
Pressing the back button of the 2nd page will display the 1st page and if the user tries to do a new search .... the error shows up.
Any suggestions on how to handle this?
Thank you.It seems to me that you are using the same VO on both the pages. If that is the case try to use separate VO for each page.
And as suggested by Sumit, Never use/ rely on browser back button. Instead put a Back button on the second page through you can handle the event yourself rather than leaving on the mercy of browser.

Hello,
I'm working a developing an OA page that will displays the contents of an Oracle table and allows the user to update records in a table as needed.
When I hit submit button to save the changes in the update page, the control goes back to main page (where all the table records are displayed). It displays the updated record with the new information.However when I hit "Go" button on the mainPG, I get the error "The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost. and the changes are not committed.
ANy suggestions on where I should look will be greatly appreciated.

How do I fix the right-click context menu; it has blank entries and shows no selectable options?
recently I have noticed that my right-click context menu looks like it has no entries. It shows up on a right-click, but the whole menu is blank. On further investigation there are scroll buttons on the top and bottom of the menu and if I hover over the up buttom eventually the normal context commands scroll down from above. I noticed this first a few days ago, shortly after the download of 3.6.13. Today I also noticed that some of my menu bars were showing a similar issue with blank entries in the menus. In one case the menu also didn't register where the mouse was, highlighting a command several steps further up.
Is this something to do with the new Mozilla or something else? I only run a couple of addons, Ad Block Plus and Tab Mix Plus. Can try to capture a screen shot of the issue, but difficult since the menu dissapears when I try to do a screen grab!

While trying to find info on how to fix this I looked up some context menu addons for FF and tried one. It didn't work so I uninstalled it and after that everything was back to normal. Odd, but there you have it. I still don't know what went wrong in the first place but for the moment it appears to have cleared up.
Next time though I will try loading into Safe Mode if I find any issues (I forgot there was one!).

How can I change the paragraph style of the Table of Contents entries themselves?
From what I can see, all Table of Contents entries are the same font, size, indentation and layout when the book is viewed in Portrait mode on an iPad. I have long subheadings in my Table of Contents, and they get truncated!

Error while creating cust In table T078D, the entry VD01 is missing...

I am new to SAP and have just installed SAP 4.7 on my laptop. While creating customer master, a message displays In table T078D, the entry VD01 is missing, and even for XD01 the same message is displayed. Can you guysplease help me with this?

this looks like some customizing records are missing in your installation.
Table T078D contains the transaction dependant field settings.
This is in relation with customizing transaction OB20
In that table, there should be at least 15 records with the corresponding table key

FD02

VD01
VD02
VD03
WR01
WR02
WR03
WR11
WR12
WR13
XD01
XD02
XD03
So, if you don't find why standard customizing records are not part of you installation, you may re-create such records with the above keys.
Please note that all fields that are not part of the key should at least contains '.' character for each digits of each fields.
eg: FAUSA is 40 digits long.
FAUSA = '........................................'

when i try to download the 2.0 update, the download bar fills up all the way as though it is finished, but then an error 3259 message appears. I ran a network diagnostics and it says that everything is okay. Any help would be greatly appreciated
