EEWB error

Hi all,
I am trying to create a new date field in Opportunity and got this error "no transport request exists for system workbench".
Under created extension, I see error under tasks (CRM_BTX_ADD_NEWFIELD).
I am not able to delete the extension:error:"extension could not be deleted"
can someone guide me how to rectify the error or delete the extension?

Hi PR,
Just that this thread is helpful to others as well,
1. The problem arises because of the customizing in the table T000.
Please check your customizing from:
IMG: SAP Web Application Server-> Application Server > System Administration > Change & Transport
system > Configure clients
a. Select the desired client,
b. Goto the details
c. In the dataset 'Changes and Transport for Client-Specific Objects', set the option to 'Automatic recording of changes'
d. Save the settings for the client.
Now try to regenerate the eewb extension.
2. Check your customizing in trx EEWC
3.Problem deleting generated extensions: Kindly refer to the note 1068113 and delete the corresponding entries from OXT_GENOBJDEF and GOX_TR_OBJECTS tables.
If you have resolved the issue using other means other than the ones mentioned above, please add the information in this thread.

EEWB : Error while generating extension using wizard

Folks,
We are on CRM 5.0, am getting the following error when I try to create few custom fields using EEWB.
While creating the project & extension, I gave #temp as the package (dev. class).
when I try to start the wizard for creating new fields and provide the technical details and press 'complete' button, am getting the following error:

Table BUT000_TD (Statements could not be generated)</b>
Detailed Error message:
Message no. DT066
Diagnosis
A requested database action could not be carried out.
Procedure
First try to repeat the action which caused this message. If the
database action again cannot be carried out, find out the cause of the
error using the analysis tool in the database utility. There might be an
inconsistency between the table definition in the ABAP Dictionary and
the existing nametab (runtime object for the table).
Can you suggest what could be wrong here.

thanks Sudheer. I checked the syntax check and got the following log displayed.
I can send you the description (long text) of some of these messages. could you have a look at them and give your inputs.
Check table/structure BUT000_TD
           Check table BUT000_TD (USERID/05/25/07/06:21)
           Enhancement category 3 possible, but include or subty. not yet classified
           Several fields of type LANG: Select one of these as text language
           No data exists (structure change caused by DROP / CREATE)
           Error in code generation for deleting table BUT000_TD
           Table BUT000_TD (Statements could not be generated)

EEWB error message BADI implementation

Hi,
I am getting the following error message when I run the wizard in EEWB to create new fields:
Task CRM_BTX_ADD_NEW_FIELDS
creating of BADI Implementation "ZCRM_RF_0701" failed
I am trying to add new fields in Activities.
This system is a copy of production client. There is no EEWB project or extension created in this system. We are using this system as a sandbox. We wanted to create some new fields here in this system by crating a new project and extension but when I run the wizard to create the new fields it is giving me the above error message at the time of Generation
Anyone has any idea how to resolve this ?

EEWB: Error when generating the project

Hi All,
I have created a package "ZT_HOME_EXTENSIONS1" in transaction SE80 . Then created a project in EEWB and assigned it to the package created earlier.
Now when I am creating an extension for this project for the Business Object BUSINESS_TRANSACTION, I am getting the error "Table CI_EEW_CUSTOMER_I can't be created with package ZT_HOME_EXTENSIONS1".
Kindly suggest how to proceed with this.

Hi All,
This problem is resolved. The reason of this error was that the transport layer of the package of the first extension and the transport layer of the package I created for the new extension was diffrent. I changed the transport layer of my package same as the package of 1st extension and now the issue is resolved.

Error While Creating New Field thru EEWB

Error while deleting extension in EEWB transaction

Hi Friends,
When we tried to run EEWB - easy enhancemnet workbench in CRM system to extend new custom fields in Sales transactions, it gives an option to check the different systems where this new field data should be flown.
Now due to some problem in the middle of running EEWB, we cancelled the process and deleted the extension created. But it is not deleting and displaying an error which is like this as below :
"DataSource 0CRM_SALES_ORDER_I must be activated using transaction BWA5".
We do not see any option in the BWA5 to activate this datasource and hence are unable to delete this extension to create a new one again.
Help us with the process to be done to activate this and also the impact on the system after activation .

EEWB - Syntax error while generating Enhancement Project component

Hi,
I'm using SAP CRM 7.0. I used EEWB (Extended Enhancement Workbench) to create a project and add 3 fields to Business Partner (BUPA). On generation I get an error 'Syntax error in Function Group SAPLZZG00BUPA: The field '"GV_ZZATTR1_PAI_ERROR" is unknown.
There are these fields ZZATTR1 .... ZZATTR9 created by someone. Do not know in which enhancement they are in. But somehow the program generated by SAP - APLZZG00BUPA is giving this error. Is there a way to fix it?
Any help or guidance will be appreciated.

I check the details as mentioned by the thread. The structures are created properly.
To give you more details:
1. There is already one extension in the system created by someone - ADD NEW FIELDS - which created the structure with additional fields - ZBSTC0000000002.
2. I did an extension - ADD NEW FIELDS which added another structure in CI_EEW_BUT000 and CI_EEW_BUT000_X - ZBSTC00009JACQV
3. When I generate the project I get syntax error in SAPLZZG00BUPA - as the fields from prior structure do not exist in this program which is generated during the project generation.

EEWB Enhancement Error while adding new field

Hello Experts ,
The requirement is to add the attachment feild in the support desk message screen (CRMD_ORDER) in the Fast track tab , although in the transaction tab already the document option is available for attachments the end user's want it in intial screen.
I have tried this using EASY ENHANCEMENT WORKBENCH - EEWB as per the suggestions given by experts in SDN,now i face a problem in EEWB .
I have created a object and extention in EEWB under a project,the it took me to the wizard automatically ,i followed up the notes in wizard to ADD_NEW_FIELDS and after it is completed, it shows a ERROR message as "Definition CRM_BTX_ADD_NEW_FIELDS is of the type 'TSK' and should run on an external system. This is not permissible. Only definitions of type 'SEQ' may be created for external systems." What does this Error Mean?Should i have to follow any system settings for this?
Note : I have made the system settings in EEWC -System Data Maintenence before enhancement.
Has any one worked with EEWB to ADD new fields,if so then please give me a solution to solve this problem.

Error in EEWB deleting a field

Hello,
I was supposed to add a new customer field in a tab of CRMD order using EEWB.
When I looked at the extension already created i saw that my field had already been created but it wasn't available in CRMD_ORDER transaction.
So as to get what I wanted, I tried to delete the field from the existing task to create a clean new one.
The problem is that when I deleted the old field (using wizard) and tried to activate the former extension I had and error telling that table had to be adapted. So I went to se14 to adapt it and tried to activate again my extension. But there was no way, it said something like "Project could not be read".
As a result my extension appears red and broken and the wizard is not available any more.
Reading some posts of these forums I arrived to think I had to delete that broken extension and create it again from 0.
I fear I might loose my existing data. What about it?
I tried to delete the extension but it told me that "The order/task XXXX did not exists".
What can I do to go back to the previous version of my extension and to add my new field in my screen.

Yes you are right. EEWB will not support the deletion of a project if any errors are found. for your serino (1) u revert back to previous version and when that project is fine u can delete the complete project.
Regard point (2) if PE(1) was fine ( i.e without errors) then u can use start wizard and at the place where u ad fileds u can deelte the fileds . this works fine in CRM 4.0.
Point (3) is the way to overcome but always u can delete ur PE1 if it does not have errors

Error in EEWB when a n Extension is changed

Hello,
I need to add some more custom fields in Opportunity tab. There were already some existing fields created using Project Extension(say it is PE1) in EEWB. But I am facing some problems
(1) To add the new ones, when I created a new Extension PE2 for BO:-OPPORTUNITY Extension ty:-OPPORT_H(PE1 was also created for the same values), this gave an error "The Project could not be read". When I just tried another values for BO and Ext type, it did work.
(2) Since (1) did not give any results, I 'Start Wizard' for PE1. and add the new fields in that. This works fine.
Later date I found that some of the fields from the new list should be deleted, so I triggered 'Back to Previous version' for the PE1 . But this gave some errors:
"Error during deletion of object: Field."
and I was not able to revert the structures back to Previous version.
(3) jsut getting out of the way, after PE1 showed errorneous status, I tried to create PE2(with the same BO and Ext ty) to add trial fields and this again worked.
Can anyone give some reasoning for the above behavior of EEWB for cases 1,2 &3 and mentioned above.

Error message in WebGUI after adding fields with EEWB - Class doesn't exist

After adding fields to the component BT111H_OPPT within EEWB and BSP_WD_CMPWB I recieved an error message while trying to open an Opportunity in the WebGUI, stating:

Has any one an idea, if this could be a bug or what went wrong? I am especially irritated, that it seems, that class was not created. After all I never changed any tables or anything in the background manually. I just used the standard tool EEWB, nothing else.

By the way, I tried to go back all the steps I took previously to, kind of "un-do" my error, but I was not able to delete all created extensions, due to a another error - but that's a different story, or isn't it?

Hello Experts,
I know my question was a tricky one and no-one was able to help me from this forum. That's why I would like to share with you the solution I just recieved from SAP:
Although all classes that were created whilst extending the component BT111H_OPPT were deleted, there still existed a seperate extension definition in ViewCluster BSPWDVC_CMP_EXT still persisted.
I wasn't aware of the fact, that I had to delete that too.
Note: in order to delete ViewCluster, use tx SM34
The problem ist now solved!

Runtime error in CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI after adding customer fields using EEWB

Hi gurus,
I am getting short dump in ZCL_IM_EEW_DATAEXCHANGE06~CRM_DATAEXCH_AFTER_BAPI_FILL.
I've added 3 custom fields in ORDERADM_I structure using EEWB. ( created in ECC also ).
Now when i create a sales order, its not flowing to ECC as i am getting the below error.
UC_OBJECTS_NOT_CONVERTIBLE
Error occured while executing below statement
MOVE <ls_bape> TO ls_bapiparex_wrk+lc_offset.
<ls_bape> is having all the custom fields i've created using EEWB.
Error short text i am getting in st22: ' Data objects in Unicode programs cannot be converted.'

Thanks for the reply.
I was not able to use move-corresponding as there was no matching fields in the destination structure.
Anyway we found out the issue. One of the custom fields generated using EEWB, used INT4 data element. I deleted the field and created it again using character (NUMC) data element, and it worked fine.
I still don't know the exact problem of using integer data element. Kindly share if anyone find the reason.

Error Occured in EEWB Transaction

i have created a project in EEWB Transaction for a Custom field . i gave a Task wile saving that project i Got the Status is Valid For both Enhancement and Customization . But after Running the Wizard I am getting an Error Saing that Task could not be Read.
So please suggest me to Resolve this.

EEWB WHEN RECREATING GETTING AN ERROR

I created a Project and extended a Field in OPPORTUNITY which also relevant for BW. Then I deleted that as I need to change the description. When deleted I could be able to delete successfully. When I am recreating the proect I am getting the error 'ZZCUSTOMERXXX Field was mentioned twice in the CRMT_BW_OPPT_H Check'. But I could not find two fields in the structure. I could see one APPEND and 1 IINCLUDE structures were generated through EEWB.
So I tried deleting the Project successfully many times and recreating the project.
When I am trying to convert this table through SE14 after the deletion it is saying that I cannot process this table through DB Utility. So I activated through Se11. When Deleted the activated version of the CRMT_BW_OPPT_H Table do not contain this field or the APPEND OR INCLUDE. But when I am extending the field ..giving an error saying it is mentioned twice in that table. Could any one help me how to check the table once the extension is deleted?.
