EM Configuration issue error
Hello,
We have grid control set up. One of the database shows as agent unreachable. I went into the database server and tried to check the following:
- I went to the /oracle/g01/software/OEM/agent10g/bin and tried emctl status agent and it gave me the below mentioned error:
EM Configuration issue. /oracle/g01/software/rdbms/10.2.0/<db name> not found.
The ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_BASE variables are fine, but I still get this error.
ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/g01/software/rdbms/10.2.0
It would be great if you could please help me out with this as I am not very familiar with the Grid Control and Enterprise Manager. We have SUN OS.
Thanks,
RPS
Hi,
These files did not exist under $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/emd (meaning they were not created). The agent home we are using is not the $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/emd, but we use the /oracle/g01/software/OEM/agent10g
At /oracle/g01/software/OEM/agent10g we had all these files, i removed them and then tried the commands but the error it gives is the same which is:
EM Configuration issue. /oracle/g01/software/rdbms/10.2.0/<dbname> not found.
I don't know why it is refering to the ORACLE_HOME agent directory instead of /oracle/g01/software/OEM/agent10g
I checked and we do have a directory it is looking for (/oracle/g01/software/rdbms/10.2.0/<dbname>) under /oracle/g01/software/OEM/agent10g
Thanks,
RPS

Hi,
I am having a problem getting OAuth to work from Exchange 2013 to Lync 2013.
I have read and following the instructions online and cannot see what I am doing wrong.
On the Exchange 2013 server, I get the following error when I run:

All my certificates on the Exchange 2013 and Lync 2013 servers are from my local CA.
I use APP with the public certificates as my reverse proxy for people connecting from outside the network.
In Lync, the OAuthTokenIssuer certificate created through the Lync deployment wizard is issued to domainname.local (my primary sip domain) and the Subject Alternative names include domainname.co.uk
I then exported this certificate to the Exchange Server and use the Set-AuthConfig to use this certificate for OAuth.
from what I read this was what I was supposed to do.
is this correct?
I have tried so many things I don't know what do to next.
Should the OAuth certificate in exchange be the one exported from Lync?
In Lync, should the OAuthTokenIssuer certificate include the servername or lyncserver.domainname.local or just be domainname.local like it is at the moment?
thank-you
jackThomas,
thanks for giving this the time. I have run the Configure-EnterpriseApplication.ps1 script following by remove-PartnerApplication so many times that I was wondering if there are other setting that
Configure-EnterpriseApplication.ps1 creates that aer not removed when you run
remove-PartnerApplication.
is there a way to completely remove everything that is confirmed when you run
Configure-EnterpriseApplication.ps1 so I can run Configure-EnterpriseApplication.ps1 without there being any configurations left from when I previously run that command?
thanks
jack

BizTalk Configuration 2013 issue - Error in Group configuration
Hi,
I am configuring BizTalk 2013 in a Virtual machine and SQL server 2012 in another Virtual machine.
I have successfully configured the SSODB database. while configuring the Group's i am getting following error.
" exception of type System.EnterpriseServices.TransactionProxyException was thrown".
The following configuration was done already as a post installation steps.
1. MSTDC was enabled in SQL Server with XA transaction and all pre requiestee
2. Windows firewall was off in Both BizTalk and SQL Server . But we enabled the DTC In in BizTalk server and DTC out in SQL Server VM.
Do we need to check any configuration or what is the next step to proceed with the success ful configuration.
We are not able to identify the problem.
Regards, Aboorva Raja R Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.Hi Raja,
The issue what you see is a
well document DTC issue in BizTalk. DTCTester would be the tool to start with. Otherwise try the suggestions as suggested here in this MSDN article.
MSDN: Troubleshooting Problems with MSDTC.
this issue also occurs if you have not created SQL Alias to communicate with remote SQL Server using Non-Standard Port. Follow the steps documented in the following article to create a SQL Server Alias on the client machine to connect to SQL Server machine:
Steps required is in middle of this article, search for "Error Configuration Framework]Feature: [Group] Failed to configure with error message [Exception of type 'System.EnterpriseServices.TransactionProxyException' was thrown"

Configuration Issue in User Mapping ..
Hi,
Pls help resolve this issue..
When i go to <b>" UserMapping "</b> option using the <b>"Personalize "</b> link , i get the following error msg..
"There is a configuration issue which leads to problem when accessing user mapping data for the selected backend system"
Also , if i go thru "User Administration -> User Mapping "
then it says,
--"There is a configuration issue which leads to problem when accessing user mapping data for the selected backend system .
Usually reason is user mapping being configured for Strong encryption, but necessary additional files might be missing.Check Security log file for information "--
I am not able to solve this problem..Pls help
Thanks in advanceHi Venkat,
<b>Here the quick and dirty solution</b>:
In your portal go to 'System Administration' -> 'System Configuration' -> 'UM Configuration' -> 'Direct Editing'.
There locate the parameter 'ume.usermapping.unsecure', set it to 'TRUE' and restart your server.
I would rather recommend to install the unlimited strength jurisdiction policy files.
For more info on this, check this thread:
JCE Jurisdiction does not allow Portal to start
Hope this helps,

OIM 11g Server Configuration Wizard Error - Cannot Connect to Oracle DB
I appreciate any and all suggestions or thoughts on how to best continue troubleshooting this error that I am describing below.
I am attempting to install Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite 11g on a Windows 7 machine…in following the installation guides I have successfully installed the following Oracle Components
- Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0
- Created Schemas using RCU 11.1.1.3.3
- Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.3.0
- Oracle SOA 11.1.1.2.0
- Oracle SOA 11.1.1.3.0 (Patch Set)
- Oracle IAM SUITE 11.1.1.3.0
Following the above installations, I created a new WebLogic Domain and as the next step am running the OIM Configuration Wizard to configure the OIM Server, however I am unable to setup a connection to the Oracle DB via the OIM Configuration Wizard. I am getting an error message when attempting to setup the connection to the Oracle Database using the OIM 11g Server Configuration Wizard:
ERROR:*
INST:6102 Unable to connect to the database with the given credentials.
*+[DETAILS] Check the values. Make sure the Database is up and running and connect string, user name, and password are correct.+*
INST:6102 Unable to connect to the database with the given credentials.
*+[DETAILS] Check the values. Make sure the Database is up and running and connect string, user name, and password are correct.+*
When installing the Oracle Database 11gR2 I used the following install configuration:
Oracle base: C:\MyApps\Oracle
Software location: C:\MyApps\Oracle\DB_HOME\11.2.0\dbhome_1
Database file location: C:\MyApps\Oracle\DB_HOME\oradata
Database Edition: Personal Edition (3.27 GB)
Character Set: Unicode (AL32UTF8)
Global database name: orcl.dev.com
Administrative Password: Password1
Confirm Password: Password1
When creating my Schemas using RCU 11.1.1.3.3 I used the following Database Connection Details
DB TYPE: Oracle Database
HOST NAME: localhost
PORT: 1521
SERVICE NAME: orcl.dev.com
USERNAME: sys
PASSWORD: Password1
ROLE: SYSDBA
I used a Prefix of “DEV” when creating the schemas so Schema Owners DEV_OIM and DEV_MDS where created. Also, I configured to use the same password for all Schemas: “Password1″. So the password for DEV_OIM and DEV_MDS should be the same, “Password1″.
REPRODUCING THE ERROR
To reproduce the error, when I launch the Oracle Identity Management 11g Configuration Wizard I am first brought to the “Welcome” Screen. I click the [Next>] button.
Next, I am on the “Components to Configure” screen where I select OIM Server and OIM Design Console and click the [Next>] button. (NOTE I have also tested by simply selecting only the OIM Server)
Next, I am on the “Database” screen where I enter the connection information
Connection String: localhost:1521:orcl.dev.com
(NOTE I have also tested using localhost:1521:orcl)
OIM Schema User Name: DEV_OIM
OIM Schema Password: Password1
MDS Schema User Name: DEV_MDS
MDS Schema Password: Password1
When I click the [Next>] button after entering the Database Connection details I encounter the following two errors (1 error for each logon DEV_OIM and DEV_MDS)
INST:6102 Unable to connect to the database with the given credentials.
INST:6102 Unable to connect to the database with the given credentials.
TROUBLESHOOTING
NOTE: I can successfully start the Oracle DB Services and connect via the Enterprise Console, SQL Plus, and JDBCTest Java Client…I just cannot get past this connection error in the OIM Server Configuration Wizard.

The command completed successfullyWhenever installing oracle databases, i install the software only first. Then i setup the listener. Then i create a database instance using the dbca tool. This way all the information is added to the pre-existing listener configurations rather than trying to create the listener afterwards. Also, during the dbca database creation, i supply a full service name such as orcl.hostname and use the service name in future configurations where it asked. This usually solves any issues of the listener or database not being found correctly.

You can test by running these export commands at the Linux prompt.

Ewfmgr: Failed getting protected volume configuration with error 1
Hello,
I created a Windows 7-64 image for an Ivy-Bridge VME card. The image contains EWF with RAM-REG.
The disk was divided into 2 partitions with the windows installer and the image was successfully installed.
As I'm using RAM-REG, all
the disk was allocated.
After the image was installed I tried to run "ewfmgr c:" and got the current status.
Then I created a GHOST image and wrote the image on a new card with a clean disk.
After Windows booted, running "ewfmgr c:" gave:
Failed getting protected volume configuration with error 1
I found few threads on this issue but failed to understand what is the right solution.
Can you help ?
Thanks,
ZvikaThe Problem is always Volumeid related (diskid)
Explaination:
Sysprep creates new bcd for the System. - Therefore it's recommended to use sysprep (and SID and so on..) but if you're lazy or don't have Domain Controller and so on or always use physical seperated (better not Internet connected) machines you would be
totaly fine with non-syspreped Images. You only Need updated/new bcd.
Captured wim has 'old' bcd (if there is no seperated MSR Partition) you can update this 3 entries within winpe and your Image will boot:
bcdedit /store c:\boot\BCD /set {BOOTMGR} device boot
bcdedit /store c:\boot\BCD /set {DEFAULT} device PARTITION=C:
bcdedit /store c:\boot\BCD /set {DEFAULT} osdevice PARTITION=C:
(boot could also be Partition=c: or all entries could be boot - and /store is not needed as in winpe bcdedit automatically Redirects the commands into the other/System (found) bcd. But i always recommand to specify the bcd store you want to edit, like in
this lines)
The definition of "C:" in this Parameter is 'translated' into volumeid/diskid. - So in the bcd is not "C:" it's some DiskID.
Instead of the 3 entries you can just create a whole new bcd with updated volumeid/diskids. --> It would be enough to run bcdboot /s C:\ (or whatever the current boot (c:\) Partition is.
EWF needs to be reconfigured as it also works with Volume/Diskids. So it needs additional command while running (online).

OC4J Configuration issue Oracle 11g R2 Windows XP and Windows 7
Hallo!I have installed Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0 on both Windows XP and Windows 7 on 2 different machines.
Before installing on both OSs,I had installed Microsoft Loopback Adapter and had set hostname as JOEY-PC and IP address 192.168.0.X.Once the installations were complete and I restarted the machines,I could not start OEM and the error below appears
C:\Documents and Settings\JOEY>emctl start dbconsole
OC4J Configuration issue. C:\app\JOEY\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_JOEY-PC_orcl not found.
When I went to the C:\app\JOEY\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\oc4j\j2ee directory,I found the folder OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orcl instead of OC4J_DBConsole_JOEY-PC_orcl.
I assumed that by using Microsoft Loopback Adapter,I would avoid the error above and that the OC4J_DBConsole folder would permanently remain as OC4J_DBConsole_JOEY-PC_orcl instead of OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orcl.
Why is this folder changing its name and how can I resolve this issue?
Thanks.Pl post the contents of the file C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\hosts on both servers
What steps did you take to set the hostname to JOEY-PC ?

Adobe Document Service Configuration Issue
Hi All,
Actually we have installed SAP ADS 7.4 ON SAP NetWeaver 7.4 JAVA STACK HUB
SYSTEM.
I did the configuration as per the SAP Standard documents. The ABAP
connection in ADS is working but ADS configuration in an ABAP environment
is not working.
While I am executing the form in SFP, I am getting the error message:
ADS:com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101).
While I am testing the ADS configuration in ABAP environment, I am getting the error:
ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException:com.adobe.Processin(200101).
While I am checking the Destination service in SAP ECC I am getting theerror: SYSTEM ERROR:
ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException:com.adobe.ProcessingException: XMLFM Exception during render:com.adobe.ProcessingException(200,101).
For the above issues I raised ticket to SAP. They suggested below steps, So I did the first three steps but I don't know how to do the 4th and 5th steps means how to copy the and extract the files.
1. Shutdown J2EE engine
2. Rename the folder
/usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/j2ee/os_libs/adssap
to antoher folder name (ex. adssap.old)
3. Start J2EE engine
4. Make sure XMLFormService_native.zip is copied under os_libs fold
during starting up engine (synchronize phase)
5. Also make sure XMLform.exe is extracted under
/usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/j2ee/os_libs/adssap/XMLFormService/bin
Please help me from where to copy the zip file mentioned in 4th step and find the attachments for error screen shots for reference.
Your help will be appreciated.
Thanks&Regards,
Ravikiran.Hi Varun,
Actually we installed ADS in NW 7.4 and while I am doing configuration I am getting the above issues.
While I am executing the any form means (standard also) I am getting the same issues. So I think it is may be configuration issue.
I raised ticket to SAP with the below error they suggested above five steps.
ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101).
Thanks&Regards,
Ravikiran.
