EM console web interface doesn't

ORA installation 10.1.0.3 upgraded to 10.1.0.4. Since this moment there are all the time problems getting to the web em. I could use the gui with not problems. I have already run the recommended @empatch.sql. In the beginning this was helping but now it stopped.
Please, help me troubleshoot this issue. It's very uncomfortable.
Thanks,mj

This is the error I have in the emdb.nohub file:

  • Web Interface doesn't work after installing 11g

    A couple days ago I decided to install Oracle 11g (after already having 10g Express Edition), after successfully installing 11g, I tried to access 10g EE using http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/apex, and it doesn't work anymore. I tried using a java program with Netbeans that connects to my 10g Database and there's connection with no problems and I can upload/download data with no problems, I just can't access the web interface.
    Thanks in advance.

  • DMM 5.0 web interface doesn't work

    I've upgraded a DMM from 4.1 to 5.0. This proccess was successful. When I try to access the web interface, the main page doesn't appear. The telnet to the 8080 TCP port responds correctly. It has a static IP address and a FQDN. The DNS server has an entry for the DMM.

    In the Quick start guide for DMS 5.0 I read the following:
    "3. Specify the fully qualified, DNS-routable hostname for the DMM appliance. Select Change, and then select OK. You can enter either the DNS-routable hostname or the IP address, for example: server.example.com"
    So it is possible to work without DNS?
    But when I try to acces the webinterface (http://ip:8080/ I see the login page, but when I try to login with superuser/admin I get the following message:
    "The Application encountered an exception ( code : 500 ) :: edu.yale.its.tp.cas.client.CASAuthenticationException: Unabl"
    Is this due to the fact that I don't work with DNS?

  • E2500 Web Interface doesn't work in bridge mode

    I recently bought a Cisco E2500 for work, and after setting the router to Bridge Mode, I am unable to access the router web interface.  I tried both the old IP address (192.168.1.1) and the IP address that I entered when I was configuring Bridge mode, but I couldn't get either to work.  I have always tried resetting the switch to factory defaults and trying again to make sure I didn't type anything wrong, but to no avail.  The wireless and everything works as it should, I just can't get back into the router to change any of my settings.  Any suggestions?

    OK, it's working now for me : you must put a static address on your bridge that is on the same range of your Internet network.  I also update the firmware to 1.0.03 after a factory reset (just in case...).
    here's my Working Config:
    - Linksys WBR router (for Internet access) with LAN address 10.100.2.1 (DHCP enable from 10.100.2.100 to 10.100.2.199).
    - E2500 Router in BRIDGE Mode with Static address 10.100.2.201, gateway 10.100.2.1 (My WBR router).  I configured the WiFi settings and the Guest WiFi settings and everything works fine !
    - My laptop are obtaining IP address from my WBR router in the range 10.100.2.x and I can access the Web Interface of the E2500 at address 10.100.2.201 if a have to change config.
    Hope this help !

  • Oracle 10g R2 Enterprise Manager Web Interface doesn't see the database

    Been at this a few days now... so I hope you can help.
    Windows XP (sp2 slipstreamed)
    Logged in as "Administrator" to the local machine (not the domain)
    I have downloaded Oracle 10g for Windows and have installed it using the Universal installer. The only parameter I changed was the default name of the database from orcl to ORAC (and given the problem I have had with the manager, that's turned out to be an appropriate name!). I set the passwords to be all the same and then let it run.
    Before installation I logged in as "Administrator" and configured the environmental variables - oracle_home, oracle_sid, sid etc.
    It installs, sqlplus client and isqlplus (the web version) both connect fine and so does the windows administrator snapin.
    The only thing that refuses point blank to see the database is the Enterprise Manager.
    The Enterprise Manager takes the SYS logon (as sysdba) quite happily and then it states:
    Error
    java.lang.Exception: Exception in sending Request :: null
    Status Status Pending
    Status Pending Since Unavailable
    Last Known State
    Nice friendly error message there Oracle... thanks
    So more digging
    emctl status dbconsole produces
    EM Daemon is not running.
    which seems to go with
    Clicking Startup/Shutdown gets me
    Couldnot contact the agent. Verify that the url for the agent is null
    Trying the preferences in the EM webpage
    gets me "Io exception: Unknown host specified"
    As near as I can figure, the "agent" is missing - but according to the documentation I have read dbconsole is all that is needed (I not running the grid computing bit).
    Ideas?

    Hmmm no way to attach the error... but it a big error... this is what happened when I did the operations described this morning in the emoms.log
    The same errors show on previous times I have tried to start EM

    This is the first time I've installed Oracle on Linux so it is possible I've done something wrong, but I can't figure out where the problem is.
    During installation process I've created a new database like this:
    1. modified ORACLE_SID=XE
    2. cp $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init.ora $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/initXE.ora
    3. sqlplus '/ as sysdba'
    4. SQL> create database XE;
    So I can start oracle like this:

    I've finally solved the problem, I got the web interface up and running. Here is what I did (clean install):
    - extracted the contents of the rpm
    - created users, changed permissions
    - edited /etc/init.d/oracle-xe commenting the line witch deletes $ORACLE_HOME/config/seeddb
    - edited $ORACLE_HOME/config/scripts/init.ora and $ORACLE_HOME/config/scripts/initXETemp.ora and replaced the following variables:
    sga_target=100M
    pga_aggregate_target=10M- run /etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure and followed the instructions; now this takes a while, as it should
    Now a little piece of advice for everybody out there who is as desperate as I was: - environment variables are very important, you should check them every time you get into trouble
    - user permissions are also important, all files in $ORACLE_HOME should be owned by the oracle user, group "dba"

  • [ACS]Problem web interface after reboot

    Hello,
    After power outage, when my ACS reboots the web interface doesn't start.
    When I connect to CLI with SSH, I enter the command :
    sh acs-config-web-interface
    This is the result :
    ACS management must be running
    Please issue 'acs start' CLI if stopped,
    or wait for the ACS processes to come up
    So I enter the command :
    acs start
    And it's OK.
    What is the reason why the ACS doesn't start properly?
    Thank you in advance for your response.
    Regards.
    Thomas.

    Hi Thomas,
    Which version of ACS you are running?

  • Correct password doesn't work with Mail interface, but works with web interface.

    Mail claims "The POP server “mail.nykayak.com” rejected the password for user “valerie”, yet when I log in through the web interface the password works. All other accounts work. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?

    Mackie, Welcome to the discussion area!
    On your iMac G3, go to the AirPort menu and select the network name. It will prompt you automatically for the correct type of wireless encryption password.
    I wouldn't trust selecting an option from Internet Connect.
    In AirPort Admin Utility, what type of wireless encryption have you enabled? If it is WPA2 the iMac G3 won't be able to connect.
    Also ensure that your AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) is configured to work in an 802.11b compatible mode. The iMac G3 is only 802.11b.

  • Query in BPS Web Interfaces - Open in New Window

    Hello,
    I am trying to insert a BW Query into a web interface but have it launch in a new window.  I know how to have it open in the web interface by using a text box.  In July of 05 I found an answer from Marc Bernard on a similar topic, but with a query returning variables.  When I tried to use the code, I got an error.  I know that I can create a URL with Target="_Blank" but I don't want to hard code the full URL of the web report because the default host and port will change with the systems.  I tried the following URL in hopes that would inherit the system but it doesn't work.
    http://<default_host>:<default_port>/sap/bw/BEx?cmd=ldoc&infocube=EPABUDGET&query=EPA322BR
    Here is the code I have for the report.   Can someone tell me how to open in a new window or how to get the URL to work?
    <iframe
        id="BWReport01"
        name="BWQUERY"
        src="/sap/bw/BEx?cmd=ldoc&infocube=EPABUDGET&query=EPA322BR"

    Hi Cherie,
    you are on the right track. Just use a href="/sap/bw/bex..." target="_blank". If you need the URL to be more dynamic, use javascript with window.open.

  • Error while trying to view web interface in browser

    Hello all,
    I'm getting the following error message while trying to preview my BPS web interface in the BW system as well as my web browser (IE).
    Note
    The termination occurred in system DBW with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
    The selected virtual host was 0 .
    ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-l:E-i:kblep_DBW_00-v:0-s:403-r:Forbidden
    I have created this web interface using the wizard and while checking it the BW system doesn't report any errors or warnings. The same works properly in Excel. I'll be very grateful if somebody can tell me how to sort it out. Thanks a lot.
    Regards,

    Hi,
    Go to the transaction "sicf" and check that the following components are active:
    -default_host ->sap ->public->bsp
    -default_host ->sap ->public->bsp->sap->system
    -default_host ->sap ->public->bsp->sap->htmlb
    -default_host ->sap ->public->bsp->sap->public->bc
    -default_host ->sap ->public->bc
    -default_host ->sap ->public->bc->ur
    -default_host ->sap ->bc->bsp->sap->system
    -default_host ->sap ->bc->bsp->sap->public->bc
    (To make this easier you can select on a higher node to activate all lower nodes as well). This should resolve your error.

  • TACACS Authorization of Web Interface on Aironet 1200 AP

    I have the Aironet 1200 AP setup to authenticate and perform authorization for the CLI via TACACS. That is working fine.
    However, the web interface is failing "ip http authentication". (Slight caveat - it works for a local user in the local AP DB - it does not work when it goes to CiscoSecure ACS to authenticate/authorize).
    I can get to some pages (prompt and pass authentication), but certain pages (e.g. Services>>SNMP) where configuration steps are taken cause a second prompt is presented, username and password is provided, and it fails.
    This is only evident from the output of a "debug ip http authentication"
    What do I need to configure in ACS to make this work?
    Relevant portion of config:
    aaa authentication login default group tacacs+ local
    aaa authentication enable default group tacacs+ enable
    aaa authorization exec default group tacacs+ local
    no ip http server
    ip http authentication aaa

    This document appears to describe a scenario similar to mine, but is for http - not HTTPS:
    Local Authentication for HTTP Server Users
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/tech/tk59/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080178a51.shtml#tac-win
    Any ideas what I may be missing here?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    I found the answer was to use a more specific "ip http authentication" statement. Specifically,it required the following:
    CiscoSecure ACS:
    Group Settings
    Shell (exec)
    Priv Level = 15
    On the AP:
    had to enable:
    ip http authentication aaa login-authentication AP_Web (Named Method List)

    Hi,
    There's a disjoin here when we write the java script it's run at the front end and cannot read any standard SAP variables(unless you code for some kind of rfc call not sure). It can only read what's displayed on the web page. If you can somehow display the user id on the web page you will be able to read it back in the script. Regarding date that's a standard functionality in script

  • File Sharing over web interface?

    I am trying to figure out a solution.
    We are an advertising agency that we need to transfter files between our studio and clients (which are mostly PC based and cannot connect to conventional ftp server) so we are looking at creating something like dropbox.com.
    I don't mind to work over afp, smb, ftp or WebDav, but I need an nice enough interface and it's got to support OS X server's user/ permission ACL.
    I know for calendars, Mac OS X server has built an web interface out-of-the-box, but how about file sharing over web?
    Anyone sharing any thoughts?

    As I said in my original post, I'm not using Firewire Target Disk mode because it requires a full shutdown of one of the computer (usually my laptop) each time I want to access files from the other computer.
    I don't know about you, but usually I've got several things going at the same time on my computers and I'd rather not have to fully shut down the MacBook Pro several times a day.
    ps - directing me to a different solution doesn't explain why things aren't working properly in the first place, but thanks anyway

  • Trigger a process chain when user clicks on save button in web interface

    Hi All,
    This is a issue I'm facing with the BW BPS web interface.
    BPS web interface generates a BSP application so thought posting this question in BSP forum might get some responses.
    The issue is I have to trigger a process chain when the user clicks on the save button on the web interface.
