EM12c: Collection interval and all metrics data caching

Question

Hi,
I am trying to have a plugin collecting some small set of data at 1 - 5 minute intervals and also be able to view this data using all metrics views at the same intervals. The data view does not seem to update at the interval the agent is collecting the data from the source. The data view updates the last collection timestamp at 15+ minute interval and not the interval I specify in the collection item.
Is there some configuration I am missing to make the view update at around the same frequency as the collection is executed? I am not looking for instant update but at least within a minute after the collection has done its job.
I have following collection configurations in a plugin:
     <CollectionItem NAME="CPU" UPLOAD="1" UPLOAD_ON_FETCH="TRUE">
          <Schedule>
               <IntervalSchedule INTERVAL="5" TIME_UNIT="Min"/>
          </Schedule>
          <MetricColl NAME="CPU">
And
     <CollectionItem NAME="Memory" UPLOAD="1" UPLOAD_ON_FETCH="TRUE">
          <Schedule>
               <IntervalSchedule INTERVAL="1" TIME_UNIT="Min"/>
          </Schedule>

You can't change the collection interval in 10gR1. You have 2 possible ways to correct it that I know of. One, stop and start the oem agent, "emctl stop agent". Or two, is to reconfigure the Metric "Monitoring Configuration". EIther of these should force a re-eval of the metrics. Check your logs for any failed collection messages.
