Email Configuration Problem

Hi experts,
I am having a problem with the smtp configuration.
I have configured it in a Test server. The problem is. the mails are being received by the people of the same domain, i.e our client's domain, but whenever I am trying to send the send the mail to some other domain like gmail it gives the error :-
No delivery to .......@gmail com", as recipient unknown
I have given * in the address area field, in SAP Connect Address Type for node, but still this problem is occuring.

Moreover as Juan said the email should b put under su01 tab, but if my requirement is to send mail to an anonymous user not having an sap user id , how can i set his/her email under su01 tab?
No, I didn't said that... I said you should have YOUR email populated on YOUR user master because the sender mail is required.
You don't seem to be ticking the boxes...

Tricky email configuration problem

I have a domain with email forwarding. I want to set that up as an account. Call it [email protected] Mail sent to that domain is forwarded to another account, let's call it [email protected]
Ok, I have a [email protected] account. It thinks my email address is [email protected] That's perfect.
Now I want to add an account for [email protected] There is no direct incoming email server for that email address. Instead mail is forward to [email protected]
So what I need is an account to SEND mail from that has the return address [email protected], but which is set to AOL. But mail refuses to let me set that up! It's unhappy that I have an existing account with the identical incoming mail server!
Any ideas?

I don't think you need to set up another account, but rather in your existing account->account information ... where you enter your email address you can enter more email addresses just put a comma before entering each email address.
Eg: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]
Once you've saved those changes, open a new message and you'll be able to select from which email address you will send the message from.

Configuration problem with Mac Mail/ATT

Starting probably this morning, wireless on a PPC iMac was sluggish. Connections didn't finish. Connecting to an URL led to hanging connections.
Well, contacting ATT (my ISP), we discovered that all three of our Macs have the same problem. No problem sending and receiving email through the Ethernet, but wireless was sluggish. ATT said that, since we're dealing with a Mac Mail issue, it would be $14.99 for help on the configuration.
I don't know the new configuration, but I could change them - if I knew the settings. I'm hoping that someone has the information to save me some money. And if someone consults this discussion, they'll know the answer by looking at this thread.
Does anybody know about changes in email configurations over the past few days?

Nobody seemed to know the answer to this, so I had to look it up.
Seems that the DNS settings were incorrect for some reason. I applied OpenDNS to each of the computers in our house, and everything works fine now. I love OpenDNS.

Email Sending Problems in Bracknell Area?

Running Win XP SP3 cable connected to with HH2 Type B on desk top and Win 8, 64 bit, on laptop via wireless link.
There have not been any problems with email (PegasusMail) or web connection until the last couple of days.   I can download emails from both my ISPs - BT and 12FreeUK.   I can access the web without problems.   Trying to send an email I get a blue message window with protocol errors and a mail delivery failure message as below

reasons reported either by the mail delivery system on the mail
relay host or by the local TCP/IP transport module:
   *** TCP/IP error while processing job ***
   A network error has occurred while WinPMail attempted to send
   your message. This error could be caused by many conditions,

     * Your network may have been broken or gone down.
     * You may have a configuration problem in your WINSOCK.DLL.
     * If running on a SLIP line, you may have experienced a
       timeout (increase the value in WinPMail's Network Config.
       Dialog), or the phone line may have gone down or suffered
       from excessive line noise.
   WinPMail will requeue your message and try again later.

that there are a large number of failures round the country, over 25, plus failures in Brookhall, Slough and Brentwood.
There appear to be no problems reported for Bracknell area 01344 exchange, but I cannot send messages.   Does anyone else have problems?

I have just tried again my Win XP and Win 98 standby and both machines will send emails!    Not tried the laptop, but I assume it will also be OK. All very odd.

EWA Email Configuration

Dear all,
I need your help in sending the EWA Report automatically.
I have added the Email recipient in T-code DSWP under my solution.
Also I have configured in T-code SCOT.
For test purpose I manually generated a EWA Report and after the background job SM :EXEC SERVICES, I checked the status of the mail in T-code SCOT,the mail is in waiting state for a long time but when I click on "Start Send proc for Selection", the mail is getting delivered.
Now what should be done to make it automatic?

Dear all,
The Issue is solved now.
I can able to send email to the corresponding recipient automatically.
I had problem with two things which created this issue.
Firstly i re-scheduled the SAPCONNECT job in T-code SCOT and then I scheduled the background job SM : EXEC SERVICES correctly, which turned the bottle icon into a report icon after few minutes. N later the Email was sent.

CRM2013: EMail Configuration Madness

We have CRM2013 deployed, but we are having a number of issues with email configuration. Some of these problems have been down to security and not getting the correct settings, but we are still having issues and I've now decided to go back to basic and start
again.
We are trying to get the Email Router working for outbound mail (as not all our users have Outlook available). At some point other colleagues have tried getting the Server-Side sync working rather than e-mail router.
Now I've got involved I want to return to what I know, and that's the good old Email Router. The question I have is do you still need an "Email Server Profile" setting up in CRM if you're going to use the email router service. The documentation
is ambiguous on this matter with the following paragraph suggesting you do, but is this only for Server-Side Sync?
"Email server profiles in Microsoft Dynamics CRM store settings
that are used by server-side synchronization to connect to an email server and process email for the associated mailboxes. You must configure at least one email server profile to process email for your CRM organization. Depending on the complexity of your
organization’s email system, you may have to create multiple email server profiles."
What is the latest opinion on Email Router vs Server-Side Sync and management?Any
pointers gratefully received.

email router remains the same from previous versions. Email Server Profile is applicable only for server side synchronization.

The problem fixed itself when I uninstalled ZumoDrive free cloud storage and also Growl the notifier application. Had to employ AppZapper to uninstall all related files.... but all worked a treat. All is back to normal.

everytime i click on it, nothing happen. nothing. am not a new user, been using blackberry for years, been changing devices like Bold, Javelin, Gemini, Onyx 1 and 2, Torch. never been a problem, this time im using onyx 2, and i cant activate my email since i cant access inside. its just nothing happens everytime i click on it. perhaps some software problems?

Email setup problems - user name error

Hello,
This afternoon, I was handed a blackberry for the first time by my work. It had previously been someone elses but was wiped. I am having problems trying to get it to set up my emails. Here's what is happening:
Click on Setup Wizard
Click on Email Setup
Select 'I want to create or add an email address'. Click Next.
Get a message saying 'After you click Next, the Blackberry Internet Service setup application opens.' Click Next
The screen says 'Existing users - If you want to access your email settings or you changed your device, log in.'
It then asks me to enter my user name and password. I put in the user name and password that I registered on the Blackberry ID website earlier today, and it gives me an error saying: 'Blank User Name. Type a valid user name.'
I have tried several times now, tried turning the phone on and off, but nothing seems to work.
Can anyone help?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
It may be that you have an older device, older OS, and older email configuration app. As such, BIS is likely not linked to the BB ID (that's a newer capability). Rather, you need the actual BIS credentials that are associated with that BB...the BIS service is linked to the BB PIN, and that linkage is at the service provider side, so wiping the device itself does nothing concerning the BIS account credentials. You either need those or you need the carrier to reset the BIS account.
As a company BB, you should probably seek support from your admins...it is also possible that they are blocking the use of personal email accounts on the company owned BBs.

Form_check.php returns SQL Configuration Problem

Hello, I am hosting the MUSE outside of BC and the form cannot send out email. http://<website>/scripts/form_check.php shows that there is a SQL Configuration Problem. How to fix?

Repplying to myself Ok, after lots of frustration, tickets to web host admin, forum crawlign it looks like the problem was either on the PHP-versio or the name of the form. The forms were titled with Scandinavian characters and "/"-mark so after simplified the forename from muse the messages came trough! The thing is that also did change in control panel of my web host from PHP-version 4.3 to PHP 4.5 so not sure which one did the job, actually i did try with fresh-starndard forms out of Muse and also with the complexly-named ones and the later did not come trough with the PHP-version change. So i would expect that it was both - naming and php-version.
Hopefully this will help others since painful form-issue it was. Used woo-forms for whole but in terms of easy updatebility i decided to go with MUSE one. Tool still missing crucial features like radio buttons but looks like Muse been little hobby of Adobe so features coming in one by one, slowly but surely.
Not sure though if next time will be building site using DW since these small limitations - issues makes life so much harder. When the app works it works like charm but when issue arrises you better of building stuff from scratch.

He remember the id name and password but he can't enter we don't now if the password is wrong or the id was lock . I have the all thing for the ipad such as his box . I now this is security thing but you could help me.

You don't need to start a new thread to continue a conversation, you can just tack onto the original one. The settings I referred you to are for the Blackberry, since that's the device which is not receiving mail: anything which is working can be left alone.

You haven't mentioned which version of PSE. If it is PSE 13, that requires a minimum of windows 7.
