Email form - new field

Hi Gurus!
Is it possible and if so how to add new object/attribute or just new field in email form (t-code CRMD_EMAIL) ?

Hi Piotr,
You must create a structure in SE11 t-code, and assign it to a new scenario (for example) in the path indicated by Dipesh.
Then, on your email form, choose the scenario you created for it. It will make available the fields that you add in your structure to your email form. Drag it to desired position in e-mail form.
Then, to fill those values, you are right. You must implement CRM_IM_ADD_DATA_BADI and method CRM_IM_BPSELE.
There, the fields that you dragged into your email form will became available at changing parameter ct_att_values.
All you have to do is to fill each line of that internal table by looping them, according your logic. Something like this:
      LOOP AT ct_att_values ASSIGNING <line>.
        CASE <line>-name.
          WHEN 'ZCRMST_EMAIL_FORMS-USER_ID.
            <line>-value = sy-uname.
          WHEN 'ZCRMST_EMAIL_FORMS-OTHER_FIELD.
            <line>-value = lv_other_field.
        ENDCASE.
      ENDLOOP.

    For that we have copied the existing standard form to zform.
    We have implemented the zinterface too.
    To add new field on form we created as an import parameter in form interface.
    We added to context of adobe form and on layout.
    But we are not getting that field in 'special_data' table in BADI implementation of SRQ1.
    Please let me know how and where we should write a code to add new field in 'special_data' table.

    But now we are facing problem in adding data to additional_data table.
    Can you tell us something about it.
    Actually in set_additional_values method of BADI we are adding data to additional_data table but on form it is not reflecting.

    CRSE is an OEM Product and for use with a custom application they have written. Unfortunately we don't their reports or how they are connecting, it would appear they were originally built off a SQL and then set to a Dataset in the app or they could be adding the data source at runtime. Lots of variations and without access to the source code to see what they are doing not much we can help you with.
    You need to contact the OEM Partner for help in resolving this and find out what you can and need to do to update your SP and work with their canned reports,

  • Adding a new field to an Automatic Row Processing form

    Hi,
    I have a form that I built through the form Wizard which has an automatic row processing function. It is working very well, except that any new fields I add to the form are not being updated in the database when the row is processed. I have set up the field exactly the same as other fields which are working and were originaly created by the wizard. I have deleted and recreated the row processing Page Process, but nothing seems to make it work. Have I missed anything? I don't want to recreate my page from scratch each time I want to add a new field.

    if you're positive that your new fields/columns update correctly when you use Text Field items and not when you use Select List ones, i'd check to see what your select lists are returning. a good way to see exactly what your form got from your select list items is to check the session state for your select list items right after you submit your page (clicking the "Session" link in your developer toolbar in your runtime environment is a good way to get to this info). also, even though you said your added Text Fields work and your Select Lists don't, i'd still check the "Source Type" and "Source value or expression" fields of your select list items to make sure they're set correctly. for form items to work with your table in htmldb auto-dml processing, you need to set the "Source Type" to "Database Column" and the "Source value or expression" to the case-sensitive name of your db column.

    open TNAPR table and give the output type you need to modify.... get the print program name and check if some structure already have the date you wanted... if you have it already... then open the form in SE71 tr. and provide the strcuture name - feild in the position you want to have the date...

    If I understood you correctly, you are just trying to add new fields to the invoice form and then use them in your form. you should first go and add the field to your tables, which you would do by going to Tool --> User Defined Fields --> Manage User Fields. There are different documents or categories given. For ex. for invoices, Sales Orders you would add your field under the Marketing Documents. If you want the field to be just one per invoice, add it to the Title, otherwise if you want a field per invoice or Sales Order line, add it to the Rows section. Once you have done that then you can just create a edit box or drop down to represent the field and set the datasource for that to your field. If you want example code to do that, let me know.

  • Cannot update new field through SharePoint properties on re-pubished InfoPath form

    I would truly appreciate any help with this problem. I've searched the forum for answers to this issue, but none of the ones I've found seem to
    apply.
    We are using SharePoint 2007. 
    When I re-publish a form with a new field, I am unable to modify that new field through SharePoint properties on older forms. I have tried re-linking the old forms but that does not resolve the issue. I can re-create this problem consistently in new
    and old InfoPath form libraries.
    Here are the latest steps I have taken to re-create the error:
    Created Form Library called Error Testing.
    Created new form (from blank template) with three data fields in the data source: name, occupation and address.
    Added section and all fields onto the form.
    Published form to Error Testing library. All fields were promoted and selected the “Allow users to edit data in this field by using a datasheet or properties page” option.
    Created and saved Form 1 in library with no issues.
    Opened edit properties and was able to modify and save the content in all three fields.
    Added a new field to the form template: City.
    Published form to Error Testing library. The original fields, and the new field were promoted and selected the “Allow users to edit data in this field by using a datasheet or properties page”
    option.
    Created and saved Form 2 in library with no issues.
    Opened edit properties in Form 2 and was able to modify and save the content in all three fields.
    Opened edit properties in Form 1, modified all fields and got the following message when I tried to save: 
    "Changes could not be saved into the document. The property to change is read-only for the document's content type, or the document is missing XML elements or attributes where
    the changes would be saved. Try editing the document in a Windows SharePoint Services-compatible XML editor such as MicroSoft Office InfoPath."
    Modified each field one at a time and determined the field I could not edit and that was causing the error message was
    the new City field.
    I re-linked Form 1 and got same error message when I tried to modify the City field.
    I opened Form 1 entered the city and saved.
    The content of the city field appears in the SharePoint column and I am able to edit the content through the Edit Properties field.
    This is an issue when we run a workflow that tries to update the new field on an old version of an InfoPath form.

    You can certainly add the fields manually by using SharePoint Designer, but a more effective way to Open the form template in "Design Mode" Click "Tools" and then "Form Options" Choose "Versioning".
    InfoPath defaults to not Upgrade forms automatically. If different versions are not a historical issue for this solution, then Change the default to "Automatically Upgrade Old Forms". Then republish form... The Next time you open a from in
    the library with this content type it will upgrade the old forms in the library.

    If the form was created in Acrobat and you have Acrobat, you should be able to edit the fields by selecting: Tools > Forms > Edit
    This is for Acrobat 11. If the PDF has security restrictions that prevent editing or was created with LiveCycle Designer, you won't be able to edit it in Acrobat. If security was applied, you'll need to know the password in order to remove it to allow editing.

    Dear Imran,
    Double click will work only after assigning the source value for the field instead first you should create the value to fetch the data for the field.

    Pl post details of OS, database and EBS versions.
    I do not believe you can add new fields to seeded forms using forms personalization.

    I'm trying to do a very simple thing (at least that is what i think), we want to have new scenario for PCR (personnel change request). So i copy the standard interface and form (ISR_FORM_SPEG)  and add some new field in that form (trough Tcode SFP). The problem is the new field that i added is not showing up any value, i tried to add address or personnel area to the form. What do i miss here? I'm relatively new to this adobe form. Thanks

    Because I'm new at this i will assume that this problem is just as a matter of binding problem. I've copy the form and interface  ISR_form_SPEG to Z.
    In interface(TCode SFP)  Z_ISR_IF_SPEG there is enty in import like this
    position | Type | QISR_TAB_type|   |    |
    In the Z_ISR_FORM_SPEG i drag the interface Position (from import folder) into the context on the right side of screen, in Layout tab i create ISR Text Display, and drag the position into the text display (which i believe is the binding processes). Activate it and save. But no value is displayed when running the iview on the portal (personnel change request), the form show and all label are show too but the value is not showing. Thanks

    Which form?
    Many of the forms are created with LiveCycle ES so it might be possible to edit the form with Acrobat X Professional. If you have the data in an SQL database, you could possibly create a data connection and import the data into the form and save a copy of the completed form. You can also use the Acrobat JavaScript 'importTextData' to import a row of data from a tab delimited data file.
    You might want to talk to other Real Estate professionals to see how they are going do this. If you have a property management program, that program might have an update to perform this task.

    I am adding a new field to a subform and populating it form a .Dat unfortunatly adding this field is causing data outputed to the subform below it to shift down one line on the page when outputted.

    I hoping someone might have an idea of why this is the case as I'm at a loss regarding why its happening.

    I may not hit on it exactly, but this sounds like Adobe's processing order.
    It wants to process the fields in the order they are in the DAT file.
    I have a similar problem with an overflow field, that isnt last in the DAT file,

    Now that may not be exactly your issue, but I think its the same inherent problem,
    Adobes processing order for the fields/subforms.
    I am still trying to resolve my issue, but found the ^field command in the reference manual (Print Agent),
