Email object parameters
Hi all,
I am using an email object into a process flow. I want to send an email when the process finishes but it doesn't work.
One parameter that I fill is smpt_server. Is it enought for the application to send an email? I think that I would have to introduce my login and password for the smpt server, where can I write these parameters (in case that are necessary)?

You can't expect Mail to support all the objects of Pages which can include anything up to charts generated from spreadsheet tables.
Even if Mail was a superset of Pages, what would the recipients who don't have either Mail or Pages, make of it?

Send email using Orchestrator email object
We encounter intermittent issues while sending email using the Orchestrator email object. We've tried supplying values (anonymous/anonymous) for SMTP authentication, but this doesn't help. Is
there a beta fix available for this error? Is there a

I suggest to make a seperate service account for mailing from orchestrator and set the credentials in smtp authentication. make sure to give this account a mailbox on his own OR give it the 'send as' rights on another mailbox and set the mailaddress
as the send adres. (note: make sure you use the send as rights and not the send on behalf rights, as this doesn't work, also do not use both the send as AND the send on behalf permission at the same time.)
when setting the send as permission take note that in exchange this default can take up to 2 hours to be effective.

Business Objects parameters names to configure using JAVA SDK for report generation

Hello All, I have created a small set of reports which need to be generated from a Java application.The Crystal Reports configuration was relatively easy for the parameters as you have control over their names but is this also the case in Business Objects. For some reports I have created parameters linked to a user prompt. What would the parameters name be that I should use in the Java application.Is this then just the prompt text or should we use e.g. a number e.g parameter 1,.. Kind Regards,Post Author: Ted Ueda

Authorization Object parameters error
In my program, I used Authorization object M_MATE_VKO
My program checked using
VKORG , ACTVT = "03" , VTWEG = '*'
My User had been assigned with M1 - M7 (M1 to M7) for VTWEG.
User not authorized, SU53 shows it required "*" for VTWEG
Now, I modified the checks to
VKORG , ACTVT = "03" , VTWEG = " "
VTWEG is now a BLANK.
User still not authorized, SU53 shows it required "-" for VTWEG (hyphen is this case)
What should I do to allow "No checks" on VTWEG?
Should I just used only VKORG and ACTVT with the objects which state 3 parameters?
How do I code in order to allow User with the appropriate authorization to pass thru?

If you don't want to check a value against VTWEG either take it out of the statement or use VTWEG = DUMMY.

Hi , in creating a lock object if I want to lock the entire table before an update or delete , wht should I pass in the parameters.
Will passing sy-mandt be sufficient or i need to pass the key fields of the table.

Having issue with sending jpeg attachments. Acknowledging that all my email/internet providers are functional and the usual parameters have been checked I currently have the following concern. When attaching, in any fashion, via all methods, jpeg files of 6GB+ they are being sent and received as 70KB+/- attachments? Have a I missed some simple setting or is this a function of iPhoto. I can send the same full size jpeg attacments via Windows based laptops usuing same services, same location; and have had no previous issue using a previous Windows PC.
Appreciate any input.

Object parameters with include tag
Hello,
I have a problem with JSP. What I wanna do is to call a JSP file with an object parameter. But all I can do is passing strings to the page.
Since I need to iterate on the object string parameters isn't enough for me.
Any ideas, like putting the parameter on session or build the page servlet based?
I am confused and any help would be great.

I'm using the book "Web Development with JavaServer Pages" as a reference for writing my code. In it there is some code for iterating through an indexed JavaBean property. I am doing the exact same thing but it won't work for me. I have included the code at the end.
If I use project.getCode() this works but when using the getProperty tag I get a null value. If I change the line
project = projectList[a];
to
pageContext.setAttribute("project", projectList[a]);
the project.getCode() doesn't work but the getProperty tag does.
According to the book, I should be able to declare the Project object reference using a Bean tag then change the reference later.
Is this a JRun bug or am I doing something wrong?

Is there a new feature in J2SE 1.5 that offers "ByVal" method parameters? E.g. if i call a method and set an object as a parameter, the method is able to change this object ('s values). The (rather bad) workaround is to first create a (deep) copy of the object to pass as the parameter (e.g. via clone()). But it would be more suitable to define this in the method declaration.
Is there a new feature in J2SE 1.5 that offers "ByVal" method parameters?Method parameters are always ByVal. The value of a type variable in Java is a reference to an object.
It does not make sense to implement deep-copies at the language level (consider signgletons, identity-based hashcodes, objects that hold references to exclusive system resources, etc). -
Web Service Object Parameters and JAXB
Hi All,
This is my first post here and I'm hoping one of you might have encountered a similar problem before. One of our business partners provided us with a WSDL for their service, with an embedded XML schema. My job in this case is to write a message driven bean (MDB) that will take a message containing XML off of a queue and call this web service. However, their web service requires an object to be passed as input. So, I've used JAXB to generate a set of classes (from the schema I ripped out of their WSDL) that will unmarshal the XML document that comes off the queue. This works fine, however, the resulting object is an inherently different object than the object I need to pass to the web service, that one was created by auto-generating the Java proxy for the web service. Since these two classes come from the same schema definition, they have the same structure and can hold the same data, but they have different implementations. My plan is to write a method to copy the data from one object to another, but this feels redundant. Is there any approach I could use to make these two auto-generated sets of code be more compatible, other than the obvious answer of having written everything by hand? Thanks in advance for any replies.Are the XML instances coming from the queue and the request object to the WS defined by the same schema (from the business partner)? If they are different, there's no other option than to do a copy or some sort of XSLT (not that that's any easier though). But if the instances are defined by the same schema, just use some data binding framework that you can use for both reading the XML from the queue and that is incorporated into the WS toolkit you're using.
For example, Axis2 allows you to use XMLBeans as a the data binding framework. Using the generated classes from Axis2, you can read in the XML instances from the queue and at the same time have the request object for the WS call. -
Phantom email/objects in iPhone4 inbox

Anyone else with this issue ? I tried resetting the phone, deleting/re-adding mail account, even a different gmail account - same strange stuff.
Apple/support ?I have it too, and I also use gmail.I think it's something to do with when you delete (now it says "archive") messages, it keeps a ghost of it. Sometimes mine have vanished, sometimes not. They drive me nuts! I only use gmail so I can't test it with anything else, but I think its just some weird glitch. I get both the 12/31/00 and the 12/31/69 phantoms. The first time I got just one like that from '69 and I couldn't open it I almost had a heart attack...lol!

I am using Dynamic CRM 2013 online. For quote, I have workflow and Dialogue processes for review process. On approval, I want the system to generate a PDF of quote report, attach the PDF and email it to the Customer.
Better I would like, When approver, clicks on the approve button, the system should auto generate a PDF of quote report, attach the PDF and email it to the Customer, without any further input from the user. If its not possible, I may have to put button on
quote form.

Cannot assign an email address to SharePoint group (distribution groups)

I configured incoming email awhile back in our SharePoint 2010 environment and it works great. I can assign an email address to a list and the necessary contact is created in AD in the OU I configured for incoming email and of course the item emailed in
is added to the list. However, if I try to assign an email address to a SharePoint group to create a distribution group, the following happens:
The following error has occurred while attempting to contact the Directory Management Service: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.
From what I've found on Technet and other resources, if incoming email works as expected, assign an email address to a group should work without issue but this obviously isn't the case. I've dug around in the 14 hive and pretty much the same exact error

But in the paragraph "Configure AD DS to be used with Directory Management Service", I added
delegation of control for the following common tasks :
Create, delete and manage groups
Modify the membership of a group
The distribution group gets created in AD with members in SharePoint 2013 ! It should work with 2010 as well…
