Email pix resolution too big or too small...for starters

I use Entourage. With new iPhoto, it bypasses Entourage and sends via my POP account. Still, iPhoto doesn't give me any record of sending out pictures via email. AND, I can't even determine a proper size of resolution. I went with the first choice 'Better Quality.' Feedback from the other side told me they wished pictures were bigger. My only other choice then is ACTUAL size. So, I try to send 4 pix which ends up being about 20 MB. I get a warning how this might not work for my recipients, but press OK.
Why is such a drag to send JPEGS now in iPhoto? I really despise it, and have so far discouraged anyone who asks me about iLife '11. I wish I could like it. Any suggestions?

If you don't like the new ways that iPhoto handles emailing then you can access the old way with a small change in how you work:
1. Drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Mail icon in the Dock.
or
2. Use the Photo browser in Mail - or any Media browser in the entire OS

Since the update *every* website displays with the fonts too big or too small. On many websites, some of the fonts are too big and some are too small *on the same page*
This makes for a horrible browsing experience.
I've tried setting the layout.css.PixelsPerPx to a value of 1, but all it does is make most websites fonts too small, while leaving some websites fonts too large, with many web pages having fonts simultaneously too large and too small.
The old behavior was quite acceptable and I'd really like to restore the behavior to what it was. How can I do that? Or do i just switch to Chrome and be done with it?

This "fix" doesn't work. Hundreds of people are complaining about how their browser was broken by this "improvement". Why not address the real problem instead of telling users to apply a useless hack to fix a programming error?

File too big or too complicated

I cannot convert the file I need. It says it is either too big or too complicated. What else can I do?

Try disabling the 'Recognize text' function and then convert the document again.

My FCP Projects are too big ! 10.53G for 8 minute edit. And I am only using the final version on the web..

What are the some mistakes I could be making ?
Maybe my project settings are wrong or playback ?
I am shooting everything from my Canon 60D DSLR.. And everything is just going on the web so having such large files seems silly...
Any help is much appreciated ..

don't export in 'actual settings', which is just an edit-codec (you did choose some flavor of proRes) and creates gigantic files.
choose 'h.264' in the export dialog - 8min should be around ~250MB

I think lumia 920 is too big

Hi,nokia guys!
I am a chinese nokia user.My current cellphone is E71 and I love it very much,it's beauitiful and suitable. When N9 was issued,it was a surprise to me.Good externals and nice experiment,perfect sreen size,the only shortage is lark of apps.
Then the lumia800 came out,it just looked like N9 with a new OS wp7,everything was right but one thing that the next OS wp8 was annonced almost the same time ,we all hold the money to wait wp8.
N9 and lumia 800 have 3.9 inch sreen,not too big not too small,just perfect.But lumia900 get bigger,the screen is 4.3 inch and the phone is bigger than the sreen,I don't know why all over world want to make a bigger phone ,it just a cellphone,we don't want it getting larger an larger.
You guy must know that most people are laughing at iphone5 recently ,because it get longer for a larger screen.though the 4.0inch sreen is acceptable to me,I still think the size of the sreen remain 3.8-4.0 inch is perfect,not to big not too small,otherwise you guys can make a phone which the sreen size is same as the phone.In that day ,larger sceen phone will be nice ,but do not bigger than sumsung galaxy note,it's not a cellphone though it can make a call.Friend around me agreed that using galaxy note to make a call is stupid especially holding in hand,very very 囧.

How well the polycarbonate body of the Lumia survives that drop from the top of the car is what really sold me. The polycarbonate gives you a beautiful design that is durable enough you don't have to cover it up in a massive case. What the point of a nice looking phone if it's just going to be wrapped in a big hunk of rubber anyway? After watching the torture test the Lumia 900 I started thinking about real world usage senarios. The iPhone is legendary for how fragile it is. Just about everyone I see with one has it wrapped in a massive case. So I made up this chart for myself so I could actually compare some hard numbers.

When you look at it this way the 920 is actually thinner than the 900, and you get a much bigger screen than on an iPhone5 wrapped in a box.

Cannot receive photos via text messaging, says too big to receive

I can receive photos via blue tooth but when anybody sends photos via text it does not arrive or I am told that the image is too big.

Please call your service provider to find out if there are any limitations on attachment sized for your phone plan.
I tried looking up to verify how to manually set up email for the email app for your phone, but was not sure what model you had: please check here for troubleshooting info [http://www.vodafone.com.au/help/devices/ota-settings] if the email is already set up, please ignore.

Everything is too big on Firefox

When I downloaded Firefox's last update Firefox 22, Last night everything is now so zoomed in and big on this Firefox. Even the buttons seem bigger. I wanted to know how can I reset everything so it will look like the previous update of Firefox ?
Everyweb page I go to I have to zoom out twice just to get it back to its normal size now.
Is there also away to just change the webpage zoom and leave the buttons there current size. My brother likes how big the buttons on firefox it self is but not how far it's zoomed in on web pages.

Choose the one with '''.default''' at the end. Once inside that folder. Look for '''prefs.js'''. Now open Notepad. Move the windows so they are side by side. Drag the '''prefs.js''' file into the Notepad window. Find the '''layout.css.devPixelsPerPx''' setting, change the '''11.0''' to '''1.0''' or '''-1.0'''. Save the file using File > Save in Notepad and close Notepad. Open Firefox and see if the problem is fixed.

Do you have Large Text turned on? See Settings > General > Accessibility > Large Text.

Keynote - files too big to email/share, looking for PDF resolution solution

Has anyone worked out how to change a keynote presentation PDF resolution when preparing for sharing? The file I get is too big to email (6 photos gave me 55mb) as it appears to retain the input resolution of the embedded photos?

If using Acrobat 9 Go To Document>Reduce File size.
If Using Acrobat X or XI to tot he tools sidebar and use Optimize for Web Distribution.
If you do not want to fool witht he pdf in any way then download Adobe Send Now app and use their free service or subscribe for a year for a whopping $29.95.
The free version allows you to upload files upt to 500MB there may be limitis to how many files you can upload it sends an e-mail to the parties you want to download the files and they simply follow the link and it downloads.
The paid version allows you to upload files as large as 2 GB and gives you 20GB of storage. I immediately myself purchased the paid version.
If you hppen to upgrade to the cloud then you get the paid version free.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems, make sure that the window is not maximized:
*<b>View > Zoom > Reset</b> (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause such issues.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

Screen Resolution Flash too big

I have a flash object that is in 800*1000 and it show up fine on my desktop but it seem too big when I open up on my laptop which have a smaller resolution. Some of the contents were cut off. Is there a way to solve this problem? Or at least add a scrollbar?

Photos sent through email too big?

I have an iphone 3gs. Now my problem is that sometimes when i attach a photo to an email the photos turn out too big. Like when i view the message on a laptop it occupies more than 100% of the screen. the pictures are huge. Has anyone got a solution to this? i posted this question in yahoo answers and was told that there is an option to send a smaller version of the pics but i can't find it. help?

i did a bit of research and have figured out how to make the picture smaller. go to photos app then copy the thumbnail version of the picture and paste it in the email message and that's it.

I'm sorry that your files are too large.
I see that you have a paid subscription to the CreatePDF service. Can you describe your workflow in a little more detail?
It sounds like you may be converting a 5-page file to PDF using the CreatePDF service, yet your file is still too large. Is that correct? What file type are you converting to PDF? What's the size of the source file vs. the resulting PDF?
Most file types automatically are compressed when you convert them to PDF. For example, PowerPoint files are typically compressed by 50% to 80%. The CreatePDF service cannot do any additional compression. However, Adobe Acrobat has advanced features to further reduce your PDF file size (by downsampling images, unembedding fonts, etc). A trial is of Adobe Acrobat is here.
If you can provide a little more context, we may have some additional ideas.
