Email restriction from sending 5 emails at a time to Unlimited

Hi Geeks,
How can I allow an email user to send Unlimited email instead of
5 emails at a time??
we are using exchange 2010.
Regards,
Jagjeet

Hi,
Do you mean you don't want to restrict the number of recipients per message for a specific user mailbox?
If so, you can use the following command to set the value to unlimited.
Set-Mailbox -Identity  -RecipientLimits unlimited
Here is a related article which may help you for your reference.

  • How to prevent exchange email account from sending emails in Outlook

    Hello,
I'm using Outlook 2010 with two email accounts. First account is set up with pop/smtp (hosted email), Second account is set up with local exchange server 2003 (not full exchange, only used to store emails, calendars, public folders). For sending & receiving
emails we use hosted email account pop/smtp, which is default account.
The problem is when I receive meeting request.....if i hit Accept > Send the Response Now, for some reason it will try to send from the Exchange account (which is not set up for sending emails).
The only workaround I know is to hit Accept > Edit the Response before Sending > change account from exchange to pop and send.
Would you please help me if there is a fix or any way to disable exchange account from sending emails !!
    Thanks a lot !!!

When the meeting is added to the exchange calendar, it wants to send the response. One way to solve it (and i think the easiest) is to configure the exchange account to send mail using a smart host. Configure your hosted email address as the default smtp
address - the server will send any mail it receives and the address on it will be your correct internet address.

  • Prevent users from sending emails to wrong users

    Hi
I was looking for a possible way of stopping users from sending emails to the wrong person.
Wonder if this can be achived by group policy or creating rules and alert.
What im actually looking for is when the user is about to send out the email they get a pop up message saying you about to send email to such person would you like to send now?
hoping there is some sort of a solution for these problem :)
    cheers

    Yes, some more details please.
The closest thing I can think of is (in Exchange 2010 - no available in 2003 or 2007) is Mailtips:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd297974.aspx
But I'm not sure that's quite what you're looking for.
And how could any software know if the person is the right person?
It would have to read the person's mind and realize they are about to make a mistake by sending the message to X instead of Y.
Please mark as helpful if you find my contribution useful or as an answer if it does answer your question. That will encourage me - and others - to take time out to help you.
    Hi Le Pivert,
I can understand your opinion an outlook will have to be that smart to realize that the email is about to be sent to a wrong person.
What i was look for is something like a pop up notification when click on send it has a pop up message saying you are about to send this email click yes or no to cancel.
Something like when receiving emails outlook sends the notification.
I guess the above cant be achive through the outlook may have to be a third party software it there is any.
    Cheers

I would look at these offerings if you are looking at Outlook Add-ins
    http://www.slipstick.com/addins/auto-process/special-function-automatic-message-processing-tools/
If you thinking about server side solutions, Exchange has mailtips, hub transport rules, moderated groups etc... And of course 3rd party stuff is out there as well.

  • How to stop ical from sending email notifications for updates on my share ical calendar

Is it possible stop ical from sending email notifications for updates I make on my share ical calendar?
    Mac OSX 10.7.2
Very annoying for the person I am sharing my calendar with to get an email every time I change something.
I hope there is a way to stop the emails, but for the updates to still go on their calendar.
    Thanks

Great idea Lofty! thanks. If the person you are sharing a calendar with is a Yahoo Mail user, you only need to set up one filter (under Options - Mail Options - Filters) and route to Spam folder or a special folder for that purpose.
Add a filter with the following parameters:
Sender contains:    "Your First and Last Name" as it appears in the emails they are receiving
    Subject contains:  "Your First Name"
    Email body contains: "iCloud"
Don't need to match case on anything.
So far, only these unwanted emails are being routed to the folder I chose.
Hope that helps until Apple gets it's act together

  • How to block a Sender from Sending Emails but Auto Reply Set on That Id should be able to send mails .

    hi ,
I need to block a certain Email id from sending mails , but at the same time auto reply should work and any mail received by that id an auto reply should be generated .
Please guide me m a not an exchange pro.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I have some tests in my lab using Exchange 2010. I recommend you create a transport rule to prohibit a user from sending emails. Here is an example for your reference.
And then use the following cmdlet to set the auto reply for this user.
Set-MailboxAutoReplyConfiguration -Identity "amy02" -AutoReplyState Enabled -ExternalMessage "External OOF message here" -InternalMessage "Internal OOF message here"
    Here is the result.
    Hope it helps.

  • How can I block myself from sending email to a certain email address?

How can I block myself from sending email to a certain email address?  I am in the middle of a relationship ending and I want to RESTRICT myself from being able to send outgoing email to a certain email address. Please advise. I have no will power and I don't want to be engaged in back and forth email drama.  Thanks.

Might sound kind of silly, but you could go into Contacts, the person in question, edit, and where it says Add Field, put somthing in like STOP, or DO NOT DO THIS
At least that would get your attention, even if it doesn't block you from emailing.
There just isn't much you can do to block yourself.  If you have a couple close friends, do something like an AA support group...call a friend and have them talk you out of emailing.
I'm not trying to be smart alecky about this, actually trying to help, but there isn't much to offer.

  • Why is gmail blocking me from sending email with a "pages" document attached?

Why is gmail blocking me from sending email with a "pages" document attached? I've checked the document for viruses with "MacKeeper" and it's clean.

Google reads your emails, in case you did not know that. Unless you are sending an email containing content Google can extract and add to its vast database of personal information, Google has no use for it.
Google Mail is becoming progressively useless. It won't accept .zip attachments, at least not the last time I tried, it will eventually prevent you from using an email client unless you visit their web mail interface, and it will disable your account if you attempt to log in from someplace Google deems is not where Google thinks you ought to be.
Gmail is worth every cent you paid.
Get rid of MacKeeper. It is capable of doing nothing beneficial and will only cause problems.

  • If I have multiple email accounts, how can I prevent one of them from sending email?

If set up multiple email accounts in Thunderbird, how can I prevent one of them from sending email, while allowing others to send?

    Simple answer:
do not use the email address when sending or replying or forwarding emails. Sending is not automatic, you have to generate the email and click on a Send button.
You could use an smtp server that will not allow sending using the incorrect server for the email address, so that it cannot send, but if you accidentally use the email address you may get an error message, but at least the email will not be sent. Do this here:
Tools > Account Settings for the mail account.
bottom right Outgoing Server - select one that will not accept sending using wrong email address
    OR
in Outgoing Server(SMTP) select the server you are using for that account
    click on 'Edit'
deliberately make an error in the server name - remove the port details etc.
So the details are wrong and cannot send.

Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.

  • How do I stop my computer from sending emails to everyone in my address book

How do I stop my computer from sending emails to everyone in my address book? This is happening when I am not on my computer.

I've been using a local isp and have recently gotten my mac email up and running. I think you are correct about the limitation being from the local isp as I was able to right click and send to all 67 via the Bcc. Good info, thanks.
I promote the use of Bcc any chance I get. Seems so many out there just don't understand the forward/reply issue where names are scanned from nearly infinite lists of forwarded emails.

  • How to create an email group from fellow email recipients

I'm sorry for asking what has to be a very basic question but I've not been able to find the answer here or anywhere.
Basically, I want to cut/paste 40-50 email addresses from an email that was sent to me into my address book as a separate Group.  ..These are email addresses for players on a sports team.  ..I don't know their full names, companies, ph. numbers etc... and don't care to keep that info on hand.. Nor do I want to spend the time adding each as a separate contact.  I just need to keep their email addresses.  ..I may add addresses to this from time to time, or remove, etc..   For now, whenever I want to send an email to this group, I have to dig up the email sent to me that contained all the addresses as addidional recipients.
    Thanks for reading/ replying!

Same same. Did you get an answer yet??
    Just ridiculous isn't it?

  • Particular Email address can send email, does not receive email.

    Hi,
I got a issue with an email address at our exchange 2010. If you can help, that will be great.
    1. email [email protected] can send email anywhere. Cannot receive email from internal/external email address.
    2. Delete the account from Exchange and recreate the same account in AD and recreate exchange mailbox, no avail.
    3.
Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
Kehillat Moriah ([email protected]) <mailto:[email protected]>
You are not authorised to send e-mail to the xxx distribtion group.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
For troubleshooting, I would like you to check the Message Delivery Restrictions. Following are my steps:
Open Exchange Management Console, choose Recipient Configuration in the navigation tree.
    Click Mailbox.
Find this Particular Email address and right-click on it to Properties.
    Switch to Mail Flow Settings.
    Double-click on Message Delivery Restrictions.
    Under this Option tap:
If choose Only senders in the following list, you can just receive messages for the senders in this list.
If choose All senders, you can accept messages from all senders.
Hope this will be helpful for you.

  • Email attachments from SSRS email subscription are not being uploaded to an email enabled SharePoint 2013 document library

Email attachments from SSRS email subscription are not being uploaded to an email enabled SharePoint 2013 document library.
I have tested the library using a standard email (with attachment) to the library and this works fine.
I have monitored the drop folder on the server and I can see both emails being picked up in drop and processed by SharePoint.  The email sent from a regular email account is uploaded with the attachment, whereas the email sent via SSRS subscription
email is uploaded and the attachment (report) is missing.

An update on this.  The email when sending from SSRS subscription is received in the library and the attachment is contained within the .EML file uploaded.
The behaviour that I would like from SSRS subscription emails are to just have the document and not the email.
Below is a snippet of the .EML files I quick copied from the Drop folder.

  • Email account can send email but cannot recieve

My new contractor email account can send email but cannot receive. GIT had identified the problem "Mail record not created in LDAP" but it has been more than a week and still no fix.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks
    James

    Hi James,
Contractors by default are not provided email access. Your manager needs to request for a mail record from APS. If your manager had already requested for a mail record, then you need to raise a service request with helpdesk.
Moreover you're reporting this issue in the wrong forum.
    Thanks,
    Jereen
