EMail Subject Change while creating PO's

Hi ,
We have done configuration in NACE for simple mail to be sent when a PO is created .
I want to change the subject of Email for PO Creation...based on following condition.
if purchaing group = MP* then put tracking number in subject line of email message else PO number .
Please help me in this regards

Hi Vikram,
The best and cleanest way I believe to do this is to create/edit the output control requirement (transaction OMFT) for the condition type (output type) in question.
The only configuration change needed w/b in case you create a new requirement since this one must be added to the PO schema.

Price Change while creating a shopping cart

Dear Srm Guru's
We are in SRM 4.0 and following a classic scenarios.
While creating a shopping cart the price in the shopping cart is picked up from the price which we upload through EBP_GET_BACKEND_PRICES
If there is a variation in the price can we change the price while creating the shopping cart. Currently the field is in display mode what settings should we make that it allows a change of price while creation of shopping cart.

for this you have to change the standard code.
In screen communication structures, there is a flag "price_changeable" that controls the edit mode of price field.
You have to change the standard logic to implement your behaviour in FORM price_changable_set from include LBBP_SC_APPF92:

Avoid Email address check while creating or changes functional location PM

Hi Experts,
We have upgraded 4.6C system to ECC 6.0 with EHP4.
We are tring to change the existing functional location created in 4.6c through tcode IL02 -> location tab -> Email address.
and tring to maintain value as 'CAP 20/20/97' in email address field but it pop-ups with the error message as
'Email address 'CAP 20/20/97' is invalid'.
We know this is a SAP standard check but as part of the AS IS functionality, end user is able to maintain the same value in 4.6c and expecting same in ECC 6.0.
NOte : End user is using this field SMTP_ADDR (Email address) for multiple purposes.
When we reached SAP, following is the SAP responce.
This validity check is in compliance with RFC 2822.
This behaviour is standard since note 799902. If you would like to see
this functionality changed then please proceed as outlined in the
attached note 11.
Can any one provide work around solution to avoid the Email address validity check ?

Password required for Apple ID....but email address changed since created. Password forgotten.

MY mum was just browsing the web when a message popped up saying....sing in to iCloud. enter the Apple ID password for (her email address). The problem is that she has changed her email address since creating her iCloud account. She can't remember the password anyway, but when it prompts her to change password if she can't remember it, it doesn't work because it obviously sends the link to that listed, but now old, email address. This message won't clear, so she can't do anything on her iPad. If she tries to cancel the message, it just pops up again.
any ideas gratefully welcome!

Does she have any way at all of accessing the old email account?

Error while creating the service pr

Dear All,
i have one Currency change while creating the PR issue
i have co code currenecy is USD while creating the material PR sysytem is
allowing to change the USD currency in AED Currency modifible condition where as if iam creating the Service pr system is default USD In hide mode but my user want to create the Service pr in AED.
So please help me ASAP.

The currency in service PR/PO is fetched from service condition master,
Change the Currency in Deliv/Inv Tab, which will change the currency in service condition or manually change in the service condition master, so each time currency in PR needs not to be changed by user.

"How to pass classification characteristics while creating batch" ?

    I am using FM's BAPI_BATCH_CREATE/CHANGE while creating/changing batch I have to maintain classification data aswell.But in FM docu i saw as shown below
1.Create the classification of a batch in the background (object characteristics only)
2. If the batch is to be classified, you must specify a class in the BatchControlFields parameter. Only single classification is possible.
According to above statments I have passed class name in Batch Control Fields but I am unable to find " How to pass classification characteristics while creating batch". Please tell me how to pass classification characteristics in background?

Hi, You can update classification for a batch using the following code.
But first, you'll need to find out that the batch management is cross-plant or plant dependant.
If it is cross plant then plant(WERKS) is not part of the key to BAPI_OBJCL_CONCATENATEKEY.

While creating a new email, various portion of the mail will appear in the trash box.

after creating a new email and send sucessfully, breakdown of the full content in the mail will appear in the trash box without my intention. The breakdown were in seperate uncompleted mail/mails depending on the lenght of the email. Everytime after a simple email of about 3-5 sentences conpriseing of less then 30 words, 5 - 10 seperate trash box mail appeared. it worst when duration is longer while creating the email. Any advise to eliminate this situation??

You probably have "Store draft messages on the server" checked in the Mailbox Behaviors of the mail account(s) on which you are experiencing this, and the server's reaction to having a second, third, etc. draft of the same message stored is to put the older copy in the trash. Not all servers react like this, but some like Gmail seem to so do.
If you won't need to change Macs in the middle of composing an email message and can live with retyping a message you were composing at the time of a crash, you can probably turn off this feature.

Error while creating JAAS subject credentials

I have a client program that runs in a separeate JVM accessing a server (on a different JVM of course). A user name and password is given as inputs to the client program. One of our testers have found out that any user name containing the "@" character seems to mess up the JAAS authentication. For example, as user names,
sunil.com will work.
[email protected] will not
sunil@xyz will not.
On the client side, I get a

Change email subject and body

Hi ,
For one of my requirement, the email subject and body has to be changed. For order confirmation and quotation, the standard behaviour of having the smartform name as the subject name should be changed and ther ehas to be a dynamic subject name. Similarly the email content should also be changed. Is this possible? Can anyone suggest me the steps?

Could you please tell what method are you using to create emails?
If it is using workflows then you can change the subject and mail body dynamically using parameters and expressions.
If you are sending mail using an FM call, then also you can create dynamic subject and mail body.
Please provide the details so that an appropriate solution could be provided.

Once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change the address (short of creating an entirely new account).
However, all is not lost. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.
