Email to be sent to requester after SC is fully approved

Hi,
We have a requirement where we need to send an email to the requester informing them that the shopping cart is fully approved.
This email should contain some details like the shopping cart number, product id etc.
Can someone suggest a way to achieve this?

Which SRM version are you using ?
Did you explore 'Define recipient for notifications'  SRM - IMG settings under SAP Business Workflow node.
In detail, You can define the email notification in customizing:
SRM Server --> Cross Application --> Workflow --> define recipient of notification.
Email Notification to PO creater in Outlook Inbox
Email notification for SHC and GR
Also, Please refer to SAP OSS note 455140 fo E-Mail settings.
Mails are sent via SAPConnect.

    I absence of workflow the only option is to see a worklist transaction like ME57 or ME5A , if u are not using mass assignment process for assigning source and the buyers simply create PO from ME21N by dragging the PR from document overview then ME5A is preferrable

    Does anyone know how to block changes made to a Change Request after it has been approved?

    If you're talking about preventing changes to a change request record after it's been approved, I have a couple suggestions, but they require custom development effort.
    One possibility would be to create a custom control applied to the Change Request form that does this for you. Using Anton's custom control technique, you could create a control that, when the form loads, reads the current state of a
    CR's review activity and, if it's approved, finds and disables all of the controls on the form.

    Another possibility is to create your own Change Request form from scratch that implements similar capability (ie: every time the form is opened, the FormLoad event checks the state of the review activity and disables/enabled all other form controls appropriately).
    Creating your own form would require you to override the out-of-the-box form for which there is no supported method yet. Plus, creating your own change request form would require much more development effort including knowledge of Visual Studio, WPF/XAML,
    C#, and the unsupported console API.
    These techniques to "block" changes will only work on a form, though. A user would still be able to make changes directly with powershell or the SDK. They could also make changes with any of the out-of-the-box console tasks that manipulate change requests.
    I'm afraid there's no "simple" answer, though.
    However, keep in mind that all changes to any record in Service Manager are recorded in the history of that record. So while it might be difficult to block changes, you can always review any changes that were made after a CR has been approved, including
    who made the change and when. That's more of a reactive approach instead of a proactive approach.

  • XI scenario for Local PO - Email to be sent  to SC  requester

    We are running  on SRM 5.0 (Standalone scenario).We are sending the local PO to the vendor system thorugh XI(SRM>XI>Vendor system).
    My reqt is when the PO is sent to the vendor system,a response/message  is sent to XI that the PO has been delivered  to the Vendor(target) system.At this event(When the message of delivery is  recieved in XI),I need to send an email to the Shopping cart requester/creator in SRM stating that "PO has been sent to the vendor".
    Can anyone please suggest how this  can be done?Is there any std provision in XI for sending an email at the time of successful delivery  of the doc/data to the target system?
    Any inputs/help  will be appreciated and  rewarded!

    You are right.I know there is the MAIL service in XI which can send a mail to a user /group of users...But the problem is I already need to configure the email ID's  for these users (to whom the mail is to  be  sent) in XI for this.But in my case ,the email ID's  will be  dynamic as each SC will be created by  a different user.
    So as you said in the first part of your  reply,I need to find a service which will each time check the SC User data  and then send the mail to that  particular user as  soon as the OK message is recieved in XI from the  Vendor system on the reciept of PO doc.Can  you tell me where  can  I  find  all the  services  which  are available in  the XI ??

    If the issue persists, delete the email account then add it back.

    Do you get draft emails every time your write an email, or do you just have a pesky email in drafts? There's a big difference.
    If it happens every time, it could be that your email isn't being sent to your recipient. If it happened only once, it's just an incomplete email you haven't sent or deleted yet.

    When sending the emails with larger attachments that take a little time to actually upload and get out, you can open the activity viewer by pressing command-0 (or is it command-o?--)--it may also be under the window menu at the top--I'm not at my Mac right now to check. The activity viewer has a stop button on it. After you stop it, you should be able to either delete the email from the outgoing mail folder or drag that email to another folder, such as the drafts folder. I've done this a few times without a problem.

    Is it possible to customize the email message sent by BPF after a step completion.I would like to customize the email sent by the SAP BPC once a BPF step has been completed.     I used the Note 2 for over 6 months before it started happening. About the same time, my husband's iPhone started sending text to email messages at attachments to I blamed it on his phone. I went into his settings and couldn't find any reason and I checked a multitude of websites and saw MANY people having the same issue with no resolution. I also tried deleting all text history and contact info from both of our phones but it continued to happen until I reset my phone to factory defaults.
    2 weeks ago I purchased the Note 3 and text messages from my daughter started coming as [email protected] Again, I tried purging all contact information and text message history from both phones with no success. I waited until my daughter upgraded to a Galaxy S4 Mini. I reset my phone to factory at the same time I was setting her phone up and that has fixed the problem again.
    My main concern now is that this bug will again randomly rear it's ugly head and I'll again have to reset my phone to factory, losing all my settings and taking days to customize it the way I want it again.

    Which email service or application do you use? Could the email message are being  filtered into a spam email folder? You might want to check to see.

  • I sent a request for my serial number 2 weeks ago and haven't gotten it! What do i do?

    Im in hight school, but i do this thing called running start, where HS students can take classes at the community college. I bought lightroom 4.1 student/teacher edition. Because its the student/teacher edition i had to request the serial number after i proved that im a student. They said the fastest way to do that was by useing my school email address, so i did, (using mine from the community collge). That was on Friday October 4th. They said it would take about 2 buisenis days for me to recieve the serial number, so i knew it probably wouldnt be till tuesday the 8th. When it got to be a week since i had sent the request, I sent an email/comment with questions on why it didnt send and what i needed to do. No responce. Its now been almost 2 weeks since i first requested my serial number and i still have not heard anything! Ugh! What can i do? Why haven't i resieved anything???

    Put in a request for another verification e-mail to be sent to you.
    Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
    Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

    I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
    So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one.     If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
    The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
    The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
    Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
    Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
    Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.
