EMBED html in flex3 application

how can we embed a html page into flex3 application from our
local directory rather than a URL

Nope. I never did get a reply back for this. I will be posting this to the Apple Wiki list server tonight and hopefully I will get something. I will post back here if I hear anything. Good luck.

I would like to embed a html page (eg: www.google.com) inside bsp view. I have used iframe to do this; but the iframe is getting refreshed everytime a button is getting clicked. Delta handling flag is also not working for iframe. Is there any other method to embed html in bsp view.

You can create a JSP dynpage in portal application object.
Along with this JSP and dynpage is created automatically. You can copy the html page and paste it in JSP page. To make it display, include a statement in JSP dynpage as

Ya i tried by keeping <fx:Declarations> part but still it is throwing error,
In flex3 we are making a component ex: <mx:canvas> and changeing that component to
<cairngorm:ServiceLocator xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml"
xmlns:cairngorm="com.adobe.cairngorm.business.*">
</cairngorm:ServiceLocator>
if any one used 4.5 with cairngorm let me know

Hi I am toatally new to Flex. and i like RIA.
I have a question.
can I embed html tag into flex controls line in panel
control?
for example I want to use <table></table> into
flex's 'panel' control.
this requirement arose beacase, I have some raw code from my
previous ajax application with simple html and javascript, and
typically I used to use them as
div-Id.innerHTML="<table><row><td>hello</td></tr><table>"
i simple want to reuse my code with flex RIA
I shall be highly oblized if anybody could help me as soon as
possible.

I think you'll find it easier to just work with the Flex
version of a Table,
which is the DataGrid.

To embed a static HTML content inside your view, Iframe is the easiest form or else, you can provide links through Linktourl UI or through a static text or a button, invoke a action and display the HTML content inside the frame or call it in a seperate (external) window.
Otherwise, we have only less options!

Embed HTML Code Into Mail?

Hi,
Is it possible to embed HTML code into an Apple Mail message? If it isn't, this would be a really useful feature. Lots of sites now, such as YouTube and Flickr, provide snippets of HTML code that you can copy and paste into your "webpage". But how useful would it be if you could paste this code directly into an e-mail? That way you could do things such as embed a YouTube video into an e-mail, rather than just provide a link to it.

You can do it, but it will not be the easiest thing, and it's generally frowned on, since HTML email is used by spammers and marketers to track whether or not you open their emails. It's much easier and more accepted to just send a link to something you want someone to see; not everyone has time time, patience, or affordable broadband to download a web page with an embedded video window.
You'd have to do the coding yourself, test it to be sure it works when sending and receiving, and then send it to everyone you want to see it. That's a lot of work for no real benefit. According to Apple, Mail in 10.5 allows the sending of HTML using the Stationery feature; have you tested that or checked the Help files for that to see how it's done?

I want to embed the youtube code for a vid into my keynote presentation so when I export to flash I can post the entire thing online, the presentation will work and I can watch the vid too. Any thoughts on how to embed html into a keynote page?

The only way to get video out of Keynote that I know of, is the QuickTime export. Now, if you use another tool after that (to convert the QuickTime video) that might be able to work for you.

Hi there,
You'll want to display any UI during the esSetup call into the transition plug-in. This selector will be sent when the user chooses the Custom setup button for the transition in the Effect Controls Panel. The SDK transition sample already displays a MessageBox() here.

Yes I am talking about the play button when the course launches. If you modify the index.html to look like this, the course will automatically play instead of showing the play button.

Why I can't paste embed html music player?

I've tried with two different player; jw player and podsnack and each time I copy paste the code in my layout, I see a big square with "enable to generate thumbnail" in it.
Anyone knows why?

I tested your code. I get the same error in Muse. however, when I previewed it in a browser, the player loaded fine. Please test it in a browser and let us know if you still can't see the player.

scenario:
I am updating a HyperLink(url) to an infopath Field (Such as Rich text box /Label) from a third party workflow(Nintex),it is not able to embed the html data .is it possible to embed html controls like <a> and <Br> tags in the infopath form?????

The InfoPath form can be configured to export some of the fields as columns... by doing so, the workflow can simply update the list item's metadata, and the value is pushed into the InfoPath form data.

I want to Embed HTML tag inside XSLT to generate email content .
XSLT is not working in Jdeveloper , when i use the syntax <xsl:output method="html" indent="yes" version="1.0"/> in transformation activity .
Can anyone help to resolve the issue .

in the <xsl:template match=""/> element you can just start with creating your html document
so for example
<xsl:template match="/">
<html>
the graphical mapper itself won't i think but when you test the xsl it will still procedure a html document, we use it too to generate the email body contents

I am trying to embed this to my Muse site - using embed html.

But it does not work. Muse keep telling me that it cannot show a miniature picture of the code - and two weeks ago I did it, and it worked. But then it stopped working, and now I cannot regenerate it....

Blocked plugin for embed html youtube video?

I had a video from youtube running well(embed html object from muse menu) as i was designing my website, now it appears a message instead of the video, and it says blocked plugin.
I didn't add any plugins to muse and i already pause any network filter that i have on?

Muse uses the system's browser technology for both the Preview mode within Muse and creating the proxy images for inserted HTML and HTML-based widgets in Design view.
YouTube, Vimeo and others still make heavy use of the Flash plug-in. Say what you will about Flash, it's still the most reliable way to play video in a browser. I suspect the Flash Player you have installed in Internet Explorer (if you're on Windows) or in Safair (if you're on the Mac) is out-of-date. Once you update IE or Safari to the latest version of Flash Muse should be able to once again create the proxy images for Design view and play the video in Preview mode.
