Embedding swt-win32-3054.dll into the exe

Hi
I manged to create an exe for a SWT application using GCJ. Is there anyway that I embed the the SWT dll inside the exe so that i can simply distribute the application as a single exe rather than a exe + SWT dll

Hi Allen,
I guess <b>swt-win32-2135.dll</b> is corrupted.
Do register swt-win32-2135.dll from other machine on which the NWDS is working fine.
register it by putting the new dll in the same folder then in the windows <b>start -> run -> regsvr32 C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\IDE\IDE70\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.swt.win32_2.1.2\os\win32\x86\swt-win32-2135.dll</b>
Also can be done using CMD or COMMAND
Try it , Problem should go!! This dll is only being used by eclipse.
Thanks,
Raags

  • Injecting a DLL into an EXE?

I'm trying to simply inject a dll into a running excutable.
Similar to this: http://www.mpgh.net/forum/292-combat-arms-spammers-injectors-multi-tools/399433-extreme-injector-v1-... - Scroll down a bit.

    oliver_alarm2079 wrote:

    Hi, oliver_alarm2079,
Your question is "too common", and looks like "beginner" question. What is your final goal for code injection? Assumed, that if you thinking about this - you're experienced user with deep LabVIEW and OS understanding. In parallel topic I see then you trying to wrote the injection utility in LabVIEW. Impossible is nothing, but LabVIEW is pretty high level tool, so using MSVC is the best and easiest way (you will need this in any case, because for code injection you will need to know the addressed of the hooked functions - its impossible in LabVIEW directly).
Basic of code injection - is routing DLL calls from external application into your code. The easiest way is - use own proxy dll with same export as original and __declspec(naked), then perform jumps into original code. Another possible way is hooking with MS Detours. The CreateRemoteThread/WriteProcessMemory technique is also pretty advanced. But from your code I see that you haven't enough experience, sorry about that.
In the past I've used code injection with LabVIEW only once. It was used for debugging. I've got trouble with my builded exe. LabVIEW Run-Time sporadically throws internal exception at line 663 in MemoryManager.cpp in large application. So, I wrote my own DLL, then inject the code into DSSetHandleSize (function where exception occurred), then trace all calls and finally successfully figured out which LabVIEW code was involved.
What I can recommend to you - proceed to www.codeproject.com and search for keywords like "code injection, proxy dll, ms detours". You will get much more information about this.
    Andrey.

  • .class file into the .exe file - simplest possiblity ???

    Dear All,
I have a java program....and the compiled ".class" file for this....basically, it is a Frame..i will run this said program from my command prompt like,
    C:\java megalaunch
    ...the frame will appear now....
what i want to know is .............Is it possible to change this said class file, in to an .exe file...so that, (instead of going for a command prompt for running the said program) i can just double click the said .exe file and start that said Frame....
    pl. post a reply,
    Sakthivel S.
P.S: I dont want to use the batch file option for the above...

Easier (and more reliable, smaller. etc) than creating an executable .exe file is to create a Windows (desktop) shortcut to the GUI program, or create an executable .jar that packages your GUI. Both are executable/clickable solutions.
Use a desktop shortcut or an executable jar file:

  • Install FB 2 on vista got java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no swt-win32-3139 in java.library.path

The following is a re-posting of a thread regarding
UnsatisfiedLinkError issue. One author posted the workaround below.
That workaround was posted multiple times by mistake, and the
author asked Moderator to delete the extra posting.
An operating error caused the topic to be deleted instead of
the individual messages. I am reposting the content of the thread,
and apologize to the authors who participated in this thread
    before.
    Workaround :
I experienced the same issue when I tried to install Flex on
a new Vista system. Here's how I corrected it:
    1) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 2\plugins
    2) Look for the file
"org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32.x86_3.1.2.jar". You will need to open
this in a file compression program such as WinRar or WinZip. If you
don't have such a program you can try:
2a) Copy (make sure you COPY, not MOVE) the file to another
    location, such as your desktop.
2b) Rename the file with a ".zip" extension (i.e. change
".jar" to ".zip"). NOTE: You will not see the file extension if
your system is configured to hide extensions. In this case, open a
Windows Explorer window ("My Computer", etc.) and press the "Alt"
key. A menu bar will appear. Select "Tools -> Folder Options".
Select the "View" tab, and look for "Hide extensions for known file
types". Uncheck the box, then click OK.
2c) You should now be able to right-click the file and use
Vista's built-in .zip extraction to extract the contents to a
    folder.
    3) Within the org.eclipse.swt.win32.win32.x86_3.1.2.jar file
is a file called "swt-win32-3139.dll". Copy this file to
C:\Windows\System32\ (You will be asked for a confirmation when you
    do this).
Once that is done, Flex should run correctly. You can now
delete the copy of the .jar file that you made, as well as the
folder created by Vista's .zip extraction (if applicable).
    Hope this helps!

  • Having problem with svchost.exe/ntdll.dll errors causing GPSVC (Group Policy Client) to crash preventing users from logging into the server.

Recently (within the past 2 weeks) I have noticed a few of our servers will have problems with the svchost.exe application causing the GPSVC (Group Policy Client) to crash. The only fix at that point is to reboot the server since the GPSVC service is tied

I've searched and cannot seem to find any information as to what may be causing this, or even really where to start. Would someone be able to help me identify what might be causing this event, specific with the Exception code: 0xc0000024, which causes
the Group Policy Client service to stop?

You still out there looking at things? If so I have an update. The issue hasn't stopped, even though it did seemingly die down for awhile, however, it is now back with a vengeance.
I am able to force it to happen by killing the svchost process that is hosting GPSVC. If I run gpupdate /force, then logout/login it does get GPSVC running again. Furthermore, if I simply start svchost again via the Task Manager GPSVC starts running again.
When I access the server remotely with KVM it acts just like it does as if I'm logging into it via Citrix/RDP which for Admin IDs gives an error saying "Failed to connect to a windows service. Windows could not connect to the Group Policy Client service...",
however, normal user accounts just get a message when logging into the server "The Group Policy Client Service Failed the Logon. Access is denied."
I haven't opened a case with Microsoft yet, but we about ready to because of the increase in these errors.
If you have any further suggestions that would be great, otherwise I'll provide an update once I get word back from Microsoft.
**EDIT -- apparently I mistook the the server's SCM's actions as my own. I was able to successfully crash the GPSVC service by killing the hosting svchost process, however, after I crashed it and let it sit crashed for awhile when I attempted
to restart either by starting a svchost task, or running gpupdate /force it failed. Either that, or there is a timing issue where if we don't restart the svchost process, or run gpupdate /force quickly enough it won't be able to recover without a reboot.

  • Inserting the IP address into FTPclient.exe

    Hello All,
I'm wondering if there is a way to insert the IP address into the FTPclient.exe and launch it?  I've seen this post and mpencke echos pretty much all of my concerns.
    - I don't want to reinvent the FTP utility.
    - I don't want to have to go through MAX
    - I don't want my users to have to download a separate piece of third party software and learn how to use it (if I can help it).
All I need to do is display files and allow the user to browse through them, delete files, and on rare occasion, transfer one or two.  The FTPclient has everthing I need right there.  This will be a cleanup action, so even this will rarely be done.
Back to mpencke's post, the way I read it nobody really answered his quetion, he simply assumed it is not possible outside of MAX based on the responses going elsewhere.  Is there a way to populate the IP address of the FTPclient?  If not, can somebody confirm that it is not possible and explain why?

In order to use the windows ftp.exe via SysExec, you need to look at the ftp help on command line arguments.  In particular -s:filename, which allows the ftp client to run a scripted set of commands while inside of a session.  The idea being that you generate the file progrmatically, and then execute it via SysExec.
    FTP [-v] [-d] [-i] [-n] [-g] [-s:filename] [-a] [-A] [-x:sendbuffer] [-r:recvbuf
    fer] [-b:asyncbuffers] [-w:windowsize] [host]
-v Suppresses display of remote server responses.
-n Suppresses auto-login upon initial connection.
-i Turns off interactive prompting during multiple file
    transfers.
    -d Enables debugging.
-g Disables filename globbing (see GLOB command).
-s:filename Specifies a text file containing FTP commands; the
commands will automatically run after FTP starts.
-a Use any local interface when binding data connection.
    -A login as anonymous.

Download the lnk registry fix from www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html. Reinstall iTunes. Should you find that all of your desktop shortcuts have again turned into links to the iTunes application apply the patch.

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

Also improving [Embed] so that it can recognize .TTC files as assets (previously these were only recognized through CSS @font-face rules).
QE: Yes, please add a test case for using [Embed] to embed fonts from a TTC file in addition to our tests for @font-face. Note that the AFEFontManager must be configured for this scenario.

  • Problems embedding an FLV into the timeline

    Hello,
I'm interested in embedding a video into my swf file automatically. Therefore, I managed embedding an flv file onto the stage, but the problem is that after I give the embedded video an instance name and refer to the instance in a command (f.e change x,y coordinates or change width/height), on execution of the swf, the video stays frozen while the audio plays. If I don't refer to the embedded video instance, the video plays normally, just not placed correctly on the stage.
Is there any way to place the video correctly???
    Thanks,
    Ori

The problem here is that I want to automate the creation of the SWF. Therefore, I am using some sort of simulation program which takes control of GUI objects. The only problem I had was controlling the width, height, x and y controls that appear as simple text (not as regular text boxes),
Anyhow, that's why I tried giving the embedded video an <instance name> and editing it through actionscript code of the FLA file. But that gave me the phenomena that I explained where the embedded video is placed & sized correctly, but it appears frozen with audio running normally in the resulting SWF.
I hoped that there's a way to handle this problem (casting to a different object, using a certain function etc.), or that someone is familiar with this phenomena.
Thanks and still waiting for any suggestions,
    Ori
P.S - If you want to see the phenomena, take an FLA file and embed it into the timeline on the stage. Later on, give it an <instance name> (via control+F3 to open the properties window of the object). Insert code to the FLA:
    <instance name>.x = 0;
    <instance name>.y = 0;
    <instance name>.width = 100;
    <instance name>.height = 200;
You'll see that the video does not play, while the audio is head normally.

Fix SDK-14201: Performance: embedded images are written into the swf one byte at a time.
This changes the way swfs are written out when they contain embedded lossless images,
such as PNGs and GIFs. The old code had a loop to write a byte at a time; the new code
does a single biblt. The result is a modest compilation speedup, on the order of
several hundred milliseconds when compiling Flexstore.
(This already went into the trunk as revision 658.)

    Hiya, Mike,
It's pretty tough to work through pasted-in code. If you can, please upload a page to a server, so we can see your pages in context. We'll be able to download it and look at it.
That said, you can do this: Find the beginning of an editable region in Code View. It will look like this:
    <!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="nameofregionhere" -->
Click anywhere in that tag, between the opening bracket and the closing bracket.
Then, on the vertical toolbar on the left side of the Code window, click on the "Collapse Full Tag" button. It is the one with two arrows pointing at each other. This will collapse that entire editable region. Then click the button with the two arrows pointing away from each other. That will re-open the editable region, but will highlight it.
If you have nested regions, you will find the other inside one of the editable regions. If you copy the <!-- InstanceBeginEditable and do a search on it in that document, you will find the nested region.

    Thanks John,
I've downloaded the exif tool + the gui - I can see how it's meant to work and have successfully processed a single file (even when I got the name wrong it still copied exif time data!)
I'll investigate further on how to do a batch and use command line
Really appreciate your prompt response to my problem.
I will let you all know how I get on - will take quite a few weeks but I am confident I can get there!
    Thanks Mike
A week later I've now got back into this.  I used the exif gui tool - which was very simple to use once I sat down with peace and quiet for 10 mins!  I successfully copied and updated the correct exif data including capture time from the original backup files.  My metadata keywords remained untouched when I then updated the metadata setting from disk in lightroom.
exif is a great tool, and I found it easier to use than AM pro - I couldn't  see the photo attributes in the trial download so made it hard to sort by date.
Anyway my problem was overcome thank you
