Empties Management in MM Scheduling Agreements

Hi all,
I am aware that Empties mgt can be activated and then we use BOMs to generate components in a PO ( this is implicit in GR and again generates components in IR ) In both the PO and IR the BADi is called.
BUT I am using scheduling agreements (SAs) not PO and I cannot see the same functionality in SAs. Has anyone used std Empties functionality with SAs? or will this be a bespoke devt?
Thx.

Hi,
You have to use user exit for this.
Thanks,
Venkat

  • Sales Scheduling Agreements

    Hi,
In transportation lanes, we can got to sales scheduling agreements using menu path Goto>sales scheduling agreements
I understand that the Scheduling agreements on R/3 become external procurement relationships and transportation lanes in APO.
I am wondering what this extra sales scheduling agreements are??
    Thanks.

    Got the answer:
    [sap help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/3e/dfaf376ed96c21e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm]
n the SAP R/3 system, the business relationship between a plant (supplier) and a customer is stored as a sales scheduling agreement. If you have transferred these sales scheduling agreement from Sales and Distribution (SD) to SAP APO, the system automatically generates sales scheduling agreements there. At the same time, the system creates a transportation lane from the plant to the customer. The sales scheduling agreement and transportation lane are assigned to each other.

  • Scheduling Agreement Date Management

I am running into limitiations with the standard SAP date management functionality in the firm zone of Scheduling agreements.  I am for any configuration options or customizations out there that can resolve our issues.

As pointed out already above you need to use a periodic lot sizing procedure.
Use Lot sizing procedure P, Lot size indicator K and Scheduling =2
As per your requirement, you need to create a calendar using MD25 with Months (Workdays) as a calculation rule with 1 as the period in the box provided.
After a MRP run the delivery date would point to the last day of the month.
But the requirement is a bit surprising as say for a requirement on the 1st of the month you will have the delivery showing up on the last day of the same month. Under what circumstances do you have this requirement as a valid one in your business case?

  • External Kanban (full to empty) - Scheduling Agreement Schedule Lines

    Hello Sir/Madam,
Our control cycle is using external replenishment procedure with "0002" (i.e. working with Scheduling Agreements ).
Indicator u201CSeparate GR posting when changing status to fullu201D is not set.
    Symptom:
When the Kanban container is empty, I perform a PKBC to sign the status from "Full to Empty" and I save it. The system generates a delivery schedule and an email is sent to the vendor.  This can be proved by MD04.
The problem is that the system generates another delivery schedule after few minutes and also another email is sent to the vendor. So, the delivery schedule and the email are incorrectly done twice.
I am wondering how the system setup is able to generate automatically a new delivery schedule which is not correct.
Please could you suggest me some solution.
    Regards
    Luca

I think in this case, that if no user exits were activated in your system, you should create an OSS message for SAP.

    Dear Experts,
We have a job running, automatic sending Schedule Agreements' Line Items out through EDI
But some Schedule Agreements' field Purchasing Group is empty, Idocs created on these SAs are wrong
Idoc have wrong data filled in the Control Records, and segements are empy, status is set 26 in outbound process
because Idocs have wrong data, it is also very hard to trace
      why ...
      pls help ..

Using SU53 Immediately after Error will tell you what authorization is exactly missing. Send the screen shot to your BASIS team who normally incharge of giving authorization.
If you have authorization for SU22, check what authorization objects SAP check within that Tcode and check whether those object and appropriate authorization for them is maintained in any one role / profile assinged.

  • Batch in scheduling agreement

    Hi gurus,
we manage some material with batch.
when i create sheduling agreement or when I maintain delivery schedule, I cannot enter the value of batch,
In selection screen (for scheduoing agreement o delivery schedule) is not possible to set "display" to the field "batch".
So I suppose that the field batch is not available for scheduling agreement,
    What do you think?
    Marco

The functionality for batch field is not available in Scheduling Agreement.
The cause is that a scheduling agreement is for a longer period.
So it wasn't expected that the batch number is known when creating
the scheduling agreement. You can enter the batch number when
    creating the goods receipt.

  • Scheduling Agreement Schedule Lines firmed after outbound delivery

    Dear All,
We use scheduling agreement for cross-company process in our client.  After MRP run schedule lines created automatically. For the next step outbound delivery is created via VL10F (or VL10B).
After outbound delivery creation, on MD04 or ME39, i see the schedule line firmed (*). Because firmig MRP doesn't change those schedule lines. This is a problem for our client.
Do you know a way for MRP can change the schedule lines even outbound delivery created ? How can i manage this situation ?
    Best regards,

    Hi Anil
The '*' that you see means that the schedule line has been changed manually and the Firming indicator (EKET-FIXKZ) is set when there is any change to the Schedule line.
So, when a Delivery is created, the schedule line should be 'Fixed'.
Otheriwse, MRP can delete or change this schedule line and it would cause an inconsistency in the system. This is the logically intended behaviour.
Please see the F1 help for the field EKET-FIXKZ:
    "Schedule Line is "Fixed"
Fixes the schedule line and determines that it cannot now be automatically changed as a result of materials planning and control/MRP activities.
    Procedure
The indicator is set automatically if:
.- You make manual changes to a line of a scheduling agreement delivery schedule that was created via the materials planning process
.- You create a schedule line manually
    Dependencies
You can specify whether Materials Planning/MRP can change delivery schedule lines within the firm and trade-off zones in the additional data for the scheduling agreement item."
    I hope this helps.

  • Scheduling agreement - Direct delivery

    Hi,
I am currently facing a challange where I have create a schedule agreement with a vendor who is providing raw materials directly to a subcontractor. My goal is to be able to do goods receipt using mvt 101 o and have the materials stored on a "Material provided to Subcontractor"-Storage loaction.
I am not able to create a Source list in the Vendor MRP area, but only in the plant MRP Area
    I have done as follows:
Create a MRP area type 03-Vendor with ref to the subcontractor vendor number
Assigned the raw material to the MRP Area
Create a Scheduling agreement with out ret to any storage locations
When running MRP the schedule lines are created in plant MRP area ant NOT in the vendor MRP Area.
Please let me know how to assign a vendor MRP area in the source list.
    Thanks again for your help.
    Anders

    Hello,
I've got a similar problem except that I don't manage MRP area for this specific plant. I would like that at GR the goods are received directly at the subcontractor's site in the stock provided to vendor (101 O).
    For this :
    - I have created the Scheduling agreement  (LPA type) with delivery address flagged in item.
    - The source list is fixed to the vendor with Scheduling agreement number and item (and same start date and finish date as in the contract).
    - The material master has all information to let the schedule lines to be generated (lot size and planning calendar).
=>  When I run the MRP it generates purchase requisitions instead of schedule lines, when the SC vendor is flagged in scheduling agreement.
When the SC vendor is not flagged in scheduling agreement, it works perfectly.
Is it a matter of customizing, or is there any other parameter to set ?
Thanks a lot for your help,
    Regards,
    Anna.

  • Inbound Delivery For Scheduling Agreement Lines using LSMW

    Hi,
We need to create inbound deliveries for scheduling agreements. Our scheduling Agreements are too big with 200 lines. But the vendor used to send only few discrete lines in his ASN. Is it possible to create inbound deliveries for the Scheduling agreement using LSMW? Is there any standard BAPI or IDOC available to handle this in LSMW? Has anyone done this before?
    Our requirement is as follows.
    1. Create Inbound Delivery for few lines of the Scheduling Agreement
    2. The delivery quantity of the inbound delivery will be a partial quantity of the Scheduling Agreement
    3. Materials are batch managed and the batch number for each inbound delivery item need to be captured.
    4. Vendor's ASN Number and its item number need to be captured at inbound delivery header and item level respectively.
Note: Delivery Schedule of the Scheduling Agreement is not used in the above scenario.
If you have any input, it will be really appreciated.
    Regards,
    SP0526

    Hi,
You can give your scheduling agreement number in the field Purchase Order.
If you want select from the list, you can click on PO tree (just under create inbound delivery). There selet document category as "L". You will get the scheduling agreement list.

  • Stock transport scheduling agreement SD Delivery

    Dear Experts.
I am using stock transport scheduling agreement in order to show requirements from one plant to another plant belonging to the same company code.
Delivery to the Stock Sched Agreem will be managed  thru the SD delivery processes.
I use VL10I in order to create a delivery linked to the Sch Agrm, nevertheless the business processes requires that sometimes the delivery created is modified adding new materials.
    Need.
I have not found any option on the VL02N which would allow add a new material linking it to a specific sched agreement ---(this same option exists for the case that a new material is delivered and has to be added and linked to an existing customer order)
Does anybody know how can I do this from the delivery - VL02N??? I would prefer to avoid using VL10I again - which is actually the way I am getting this solved.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Have you configured required settings for Stock transport scheduling agreement in SPRO (STO Settings)
If yes check in SA r u getting shipping tab or not.
Give some more details about your process .

  • Delivery notes in scheduling agreements

    Hello,
we send scheduling agreement (ME38) to our supplier. Now we create delivery notes with vl31n, which should reduce the open quantity of our schedules. Unfortunaly the delivery notes will not reduce the quantity and we send the supplier a wrong open, too high quantity. How can we solve this problem?
SPRO > Material Management > Purchasing > Confirmations > Set Up confirmation control
We set already the parameter for "Confirmation is Relevant to Materials Planning".
    Regards
    Andreas

    Hi
You should use creation profile which has General data "Determine Backlog/Imm. Reqt" ticked for both JIT and Forecast . T.code is OMUP

  • PR not adopted in Scheduling Agreement

I have created a Scheduling Agreement but when i add the Item from Create with Ref. to Purchase Requisition of that Material its not picking up the PR.
actually that PR no. is made in PR type ZIMP (our customized PR type)
but when I made the PR in PR Type PR for MRP then it picks ups the PR.
is there any settings to be done in IMG settings that certain PR type is linked with Scheduling agreement
if so where and how i can achieve this.
    abhishek suppal

    Hi,
Yes you have link with PR in SPRO.
This is the IMG Path <b>Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Scheduling Agreement --> Define Document Types</b>.
Here you have <b>Link purchase requisition - document type</b>.
Hope this will solve your problem.

  • Restrict pricing in scheduling agreement.

    Dear friends,
I have created a scheduling agreement with referent to an RFQ.  Since the quoted rate is already approved by the management, the user who are creating the scheduling agreement should not change the rate.
For this purpose, I have made the price field in the item level as 'Inactive' through field reference customisation.
But the problem is that, the user can do the changes in prices by clicking on the conditions icon, and there they can add, change any conditions and rates.
Can you please tell me how can we restrict these condition rates and restrict the user from adding new condition types.
    Thanks,
    Harikrishnan.

    Dear Venkat,
Price will get determine in the sales order based on two settings
    1.Pricing procedure determination
    2.Condition record maintanence.
This may happen for two reasons
1.Different pricing procedures are getting determined for sales order and scheduling agreement.
One pricing procedure may have variant condition type and other pricing procedure may not have the variant condition type.
So check same pricing procedure is getting determine in the both documents or not
2.Condition record may not maintained for the scheduling agreement document type in VK11
So check the condition record maintanence for the variant condition type through VK13 transaction.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.
