Empty lines being transfered with RSCRM_BAPI

Hi guys,
I have to transfer the result f one query to a table. For this requirement Iu2019m using transaction RSCRM_BAPI transaction.
The problem is that my query is gigantic and it has a structure in rows with 150 selections visible and 250 that are not visible, but are used in calculations. Besides this big structure I have 7 InfoObjects in columns.
Iu2019m being able to feed my table, but I noticed that more than half of the lines have all values empty, i.e., zero.
I tried to place a condition in query, but it gets ignored.
Do you know a way to skip the lines that have all values zero?

Hi Joao,
This is actually a common problem. Conditions and row suppression does not work for RSCRM_BAPI. The underlying function module is WREX_GETDATA.
I've tackled this two ways.
1) Write a program using WREX_GETDATA and modify the empty entries in memory before writing to table.
2) Use the Query in an APD to extract the data and remove the entries via a filter or ABAP process.

Make sure you unhide all your keyfigures.

Billing query - one of the lines being transferred

Having a little bit of a nightmare recently.
Originally I had a btinternet account but the phoneline was under my dads name (we have 2 phonelines). I was going to get bt infinity but was informed that both the phone line & internet had to be under the same account.
When I tried to arrange that both were under my name the internet was put under my dads name.
So I phoned up - now, from the 6th October both the phone line and the internet should be under my name (at least that is what I have been advised)
However my dad has just been billed up to december for both the phone line and the internet.
Is it fair to assume that this will be refunded if I am taking it over from October?

Dynamic file name in receiver - empty line problem with content conversion

Hi,
I do a variable substitution from a filename node in my xml structure. Because I don't want to have the the filename in my flatfile i supress the output with the conversion parameters:
filename.fixedLengthTooShortHandling = Cut
filename.fieldFixedLengths = 0
It's working but: the adapter is puting an empty line at the end of the file. If I even put the filename node at the top of the xml struture it generates the empty line at the top of the flatfile.
Anyone has an idea? is there an other way to set the filename or how can I supress this empty line( I have to) ?

Actually speaking we cannot get rid of this with XI. You have to write a OS script to remove this.
Else
you add one more parameter as .endSeparator as backspace ie., 0x08. It will definitely remove the line but I think it is putting a square box at the end of previous line. Please check by giving this and let us know the updates.

Confirmation with status "Currently Being Transferred"

we have implemented classic scenarion and for one confirmation , the backend service entry sheet isn't created .
How can i push this to create service entry sheet in backend. i have tried "bbp_pd_conf_transfer " but it did not help.
from bbp_pd i can see the the header status as "HEADER I1017 Currently Being Transferred".

Check whether the Idoc is created or not , to check this goto WE02 .
If the Idoc is created in SRM then you can see the same Idoc in the backend(R/3).
If the Idoc is not transfered from SRM then you can know the error in the status section of the Idoc.
If the Idoc is transfered from SRM and the Idoc is not posted in R/3 then the problem might be in R/3 and you can see the error in status section of the Idoc.
Please let us know what is the status and the errors information and will try to solve your issue.

When I plug in my iPhone to sync, it starts but does not complete the process and several pieces of data are not being transferred to my iPhone from my MacBook Air.
Any help that you can provide in helping my iPhone accurately sync with iPhoto and iTunes will be greatly appreciated.
Symptoms:
1)   Sync: It’s not completing the sync. Below, I’ve provided all of my settings from the iTunes Summary tab so that you might tell me if I’ve selected any incorrect options. I prefer to sync the “old school” way – by connecting to the computer – as opposed to syncing over the cloud. Perhaps this is what’s causing the problem? Here is a list of the steps displayed in the iTunes window as the sync progresses:

backing up (step 2 of 7)
preparing to sync (step 3 of 7)
determining apps to sync (step 4 of 7)
preparing apps to sync (step 5 of 7)

2)   Photos: I've selected only certain of my iPhoto albums to sync to my iPhone. All of the albums are correct/complete in iPhoto. All of the albums are listed on my iPhone, both before and after the sync, but the albums are empty (no actual photos) before and after the sync. Perhaps this is tied to the fact that the sync isn’t completing, but because “importing photos” is one of the steps that the incomplete sync displays, I don’t know.
3)   Apps: When I launch iTunes and click on the Apps folder under the Library listing, then click on the Updates tab, iTunes searches for any Apps needing to be updated and provides a list. If I click on Update All, the Apps are successfully updated in iTunes. But, when I plug in my iPhone so that the updates will transfer to the apps on my iPhone, the updates don’t transfer to the apps on my iPhone and those apps still reflect that they need updating on the iPhone.
Other Potential Pertinent Info:
The flash memory hard drive on my MacBook Air recently died (perhaps a month or two ago). Apple had emailed me about a known issue and literally the next day, my MacBook Air crashed. I installed a new flash memory drive and re-installed everything from a backup off of an external hard drive. Everything seems to be working fine; it recreated accurately all of my software and data, including iPhoto and iTunes, the pictures and songs (respectively) for which are stored on that hard drive, as opposed to being on the flash memory in the MacBook Air itself. However, I don’t recall if the start of the sync problem described herein started happening at the same time that I replaced the flash memory drive. All I know is that the computer is working perfectly in all respects and that even as the sync is failing, it at least says that it’s doing the right things and looking in the right places (e.g., the list of albums on my iPhone matches the list of albums in iTunes, etc.).

You need to download iTunes on your computer. iOS 6 requires the latest version of iTunes which is 10.7.

Empty line handling in sender fileadapter FCC

How do we ignore empty lines in the fixed length file by using FCC?
In my input file,i would be having emply lines at last and as per my curect FCC configurations,it is reading that emplty line also and due to this,message got failed in message mapping.How do we ignore this in sender file adapter?

Just a short in the dark . There is a parameter by the name of NameA.keepIncompleteFields
This parameter is only evaluated if you enter a value for NameA.fieldFixedLengths.
○ If you enter NO and the last field found in the structure is shorter than specified in NameA.fieldFixedLengths, processing is terminated with a corresponding error message.This is the default.
○ If you enter YES, the last field found in the inbound structure is transferred to the outbound structure, even if it is shorter than specified in NameA.fieldFixedLengths.
Caution
You use this parameter to control the behavior of the conversion routine for the last field in a structure.
Use the NameA.missingLastFields parameter to define the behavior at runtime when the structure contains less fields or no fields (as in your case a blank line) in total that specified in NameA.fieldFixedLengths.

Clean install yosemite why are my var/db var/ usr/bin usr/lib files being transfered

im doing a clean install and im wondering why /private/var/tmp, private/var/run, private/var/db, /Library preferences, are all being transfered to the new install? plus they are all mounted like they are disks when you run diskutil list
i tried looking it up but the only thing that comes up is server info...and this is home desktop computer

How to delete multiple empty lines in item assignment block in WebUI

Purchases made on my ipod touch are no longer being transferred to the Mac...but yet they are showing up in "grey" in the purchased list on the Mac. Any clues as to what is going on?

What used to work just fine, is no longer working...
Within the last 2 days, song purchases that were made on my ipod Touch are no longer being transferred when the ipod synchs up. The strange thing is that the songs appear in iTunes --> Store -- Purchased list, but are greyed out. They play just fine on the ipod...but aren't making it back to the Mac.
I have tried right clicking on the ipod when it appears in iTunes and selecting "Transfer purchases", but that doesn't seem to work either.
Any clues as to what is going on?

One other very important piece of information I forgot to include...the purchases were made prior the iOS update. So the sequence of events went like this:
1) ipod Touch with previous iOS (4.0 I think)
2) purchases made
3) ipod connected and iTunes prompts for iOS update
4) iOS upgraded to 5.0
5) Now the purchases seem to be stranded on the ipod Touch

How to make plant default on the line item along with the item category

I want to default Plant on the line item along with the item category.In order to meet the following scnario.
1. I have two plants,first plant is maintained for the valuated item and the second plant is maintained for the non valuated item (Free Goods).
Whenever user is entering an item in the sales order for which corresponding free goods item is maintained in the master record.System is proposing two lines items in the sales order.
First line item is the main item which appears along with the Plant 1 which contains valuated items
Second line item is for the Free of charge item which is being proposed from Plant 2, which contains the non valuated items.
I want that the system should always propose Plant 1 with main item and Plant 2 with the Free of Charge item by default. (Along with the item category TAN and TANN)

Delivering Plant is determined in the following order
1. Customer material info record.
2. Customer master
3. Material master.
Use one of them an default your plant.
I think in your case you can use the materila master which will give an item level plant different. The other two will default the plant at the header level.

Well thats good question. you can't test it in test tab of mapping.
It will give you exception like something below
RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformation: Runtime exception
Here you can create the file name in Mapping either by using various APIs as well as Sender side filed values and can pass to the UDF that you will create for dynamic filename.
File with same name will be created. This is specific to DynamicConfiguration class which deals with the values at runtime.

Empty line in long text in order

Hi,
I'm using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 to create orders. Long texts can be added to the BAPI with the parameter ORDER_TEXT.
I know want to add different information. Therefore I need to insert an empty line between the different lines. How can I do that? If I add a line with just a space in the data element TD_LINE (text_line), it is not working. The BAPI might remove that while order creation.

I have an empty line on my toolbars that I'd like to get rid of. Right-clicking does not pull up any options, so how would I do this?

I have a four-line toolbar. The fourth line is completely empty, so I'd like to remove it. I tried right-clicking to pull up a menu, but nothing appears. How can I remove this empty line? The empty line appeared just now after I disabled a Bing toolbar. I probably will eventually uninstall the Bing toolbar, but I hope the empty line is not there until I do that. Thanks much.

Thanks for the quick response. I noticed that my Yahoo toolbar was not being displayed. It just so happens that at one point, I exited Firefox and then went back in later. When I went back in, the 'empty' line was populated by the Yahoo toolbar.

I think we could handle this with may be usage of Advanced UDF in Graphical mapping only.
Here as per the condition you are deleting the particular record but unknowingly blank value i.e. " " is getting passed so on target side blank node is created for this record.
You need to just avoid this blank Node.
If you can share the logic you have applied for Middle field as well the source and target structure I will be able to try the UDF code..based on it
