Empty on the fields of activity description in CATS_DA

Hello Experts,
We use CAT2 to post some absence , and we can see the activity description related here.
But when we try to use CATS_DA to to download report, some of rows are empty on the activity desciption fields.
Who know why ? and how to solve ?

check in CATSDB table, is there any entry for PERNR and activity type. CATS_DA takes values from CATSDB table

Want more time to read the field "add a description"

When I am writing a long description in the field "add a description" and then I want to read all I have written, I only have about 10 seconds to read the content in the "enlarged field". Is it possible to do something to get more time to read?

Great Now it counts the column as 43, its correct
but I get this error while coming to this line

so I changed the code to
IRfcStructure row = addressData.GetStructure(i.ToString());
It shows error as: Element 0 of container metadata unknown [RfcInvalidParameter Exception]

Update Routine to Display the field as active or inactive

Hi All,
          I have following requirements to write one of the rouine in the update rules. I have the field ZPLANSTAT. I have to write the routine to diplay the follwing the condition in the targets.
ZPLANSTAT: It is "Active" if Planning Status (AT101) = X0ZP. It is "Inactive" otherwise.
   ZPLNASTAT should be active if Planning status ( AT101) = XOZP els it should display as inactive .
       Can anybodyhelp me in wrting this code.

In field routine of ZPLANSTAT write the below code.
In 3.5
if comm_structure-AT101 = 'X0ZP'.
   Result = 'Active'.
else.
Result = 'Inactive".
Endif.
In 7
if Source_Fields-AT01 = 'XZ0P'.
Result = 'Active'.
else.
Result = 'Inactive'.
endif.

Activity description in CN48N (activity confirmation report)

Hi,
My client wants to get weekly or monthly report of acivity confrmation. We want to get one report of all activities of project. Report in CN48N is very close to the requirement but it shows only activity item no. like 10,20 but not showing the full description of that activity. And we we are unable to idintify the actvities in report. I've checked but there is no field for activity description in std layout . Can we add that field in layout of CN48N or only abaper can do that.
The same problem in valuated stock report MBBS, materials codes are there but material description is not there. can we add description field in std layout.

Which table contains the field CNTRC(Counter Reading)?

1) Can anybody tell me which table contains the field CNTRC (short description is Counter Reading) ?
2) CNTRC is available in the structure RIMR0. In a situation like this, how do we identify the table name?

The counter reading is available in IMRG table in field CNTRR. It is available in exponential form. you need to convert to decimal from using the FM FLTP_CHAR_CONVERSION_FROM_SI

Mattreichenbach is probably on the right track here with a reset of settings. I think I've determined the issue has to do with cached account information and inconsistencies for the account name. This seems to crop up when I've changed my password and it hasn't propagated fully to all the servers, devices, certificates, etc.
Hopefully many here are on their way to restoration of service by now but it's clear that a lot of people are having the same issues. Very frustrating and definitely something Apple needs to resolve: incoming mail server field grayed out, incorrect autopopulation of different fields, other unanticipated behaviors. If you're still having issues, though, here's what worked for me...
First, head to the iCloud preferences pane in System Configuration and choose "Sign Out". When I did this it prompted me with a number of "are you sure" type questions about retaining information on my local machine. I chose to delete/remove the info each time simply because it should all be restored by the cloud and I didn't want to risk a massive duplication of my data... I will say, I'm back up and running with no issues so I suspect you can make the same delete/remove choices... But use your own judgment. I don't want you to lose any data (ie.. please use care as you do this because I cannot bear the thought of causing anyone to experience the pain of data loss).
Once you've signed out of iCloud, restart your system. When you get back in, head to the Mail, Contacts and Calendars section of your System Preferences and add your account back by choosing the brushed aluminum "iCloud" button. When it asks for your account name, use your @iCloud.com email address. I am all but certain my issue had started because one of my devices (iPhone or whatever) had been set up with an email alias specified instead of my @iCloud.com address.
Apple, if you're reading through any of these issues (there are TONS of users having this same problem). Take note, that your icloud service somewhat frequently is not responding and yet tells the user that the password is wrong and this prompts people to be changing their passwords unnecessarily. This has happened to me on numerous occasions. Also, I noticed that last week's outage corresponded to a VERY similar outage exactly one year ago to the day. Sounds like planned maintenance to me and I think you could do a better job notifying folks so we're not wasting HUGE amounts of time troubleshooting a problem that we have no hope of fixing.

SQVI -> Enter Report name -> Change -> click on layout mode - > Expand tables - > double click on filed names - >
coming right side you are able see list of output fields .
Just double click on the field then going to the editable mode Description.

I have a requirement where in i have to change the decription of the field " sales district" to "cluster" in the customer master.Can anybody please guide me how to do that??I have tried to go to SE11 against the table KNVV & searched for VKBUR field to change the description but wasnt able to navigate further to resolve the issue.

use transaction cmod. In the menu point GoTo -> Text enhancements -> Keywords -> change. You will see a pop up Key in your data element. Now you can change the field describtion.

Initial, empty #-value in fields in the new abap debugger

Hi,
after using the logical database with the get statement, I have a value in a field which is shown in the new debugger for the field ldb_structure-bukrs like this: '####'.
If I use the if-clause like:
IF ldb_structure-bukrs IS INITIAL.
<do-something>
ENDIF.
<do_something-else>
The <do-something>-part is left out in this case, because there are #-values in the empty field.
Where does this behavior come from? Just because there was a select and the field could not be filled? Why isn't it just empty?

Normally it is visualization subject, if you click in structure, in debugging you would be able to see the value of the fields of structure.

I fixed the problem somewhat myself by removing the miniSD and manually inserting it. It did not populate automatically. I had to open iPhoto and then it populated only the most recent photos I had taken which fortunately were the only ones I need. No error messages this seems to be a new occurrence.
Is there a way to just turn iPhoto off and download my photos to the folder of my own choosing?

How to make a subform not print if the fields are empty

I'm once again working on that kind of client form where our agents fill in a bunch of fields on our forms and I only want those fields that are pertinent to that client to print out and I've grouped the fields that go together into separate subforms.
There are date fields and currency fields that relayout to floating fields in hidden blocks of text that appear when the last text field is exited, ie:
Subform1 "On 5/14/12 your application was approved. We will pay $100 to your account"
Subform2 "On 5/14/12 we received your application. We will need further information before you claim for $250 can be approved" etc. Obviously, both of these subforms cannot appear on the letter.
Jono gave me a great solution for not printing checkboxes that are not checked with a preprint script which worked perfectly and I tried to adapt that to the subforms but alas my skills are lacking. I tried just putting it in each fill in field but then the blocks of text still remained.
So basically I don't want the subforms that have empty fields to print.
I'd appreciate any help that can be offered.

I think that the logic/script should be placed in the area where the user either approves or rejects the claim. This would avoid a prePrint script to check if fields are empty or not.
If you are stuck with checking if fields are empty on prePrint, then you would just need to check the relevant fields one at a time or use a loop.

You can get all partners and their type in table EDPP1, depending of the partner type you need to go to specific table for address and other details, like for partner type KU(customer) goto KNA1,etc for partner type LI(vendor) goto LFA1 etc for partner type B(bank) goto BNKA etc ....

For all the tables, descriptions and fields you can refer to these tables:
DD02L : ALL SAP TABLE NAMES
DD02T : DESCRIPTION OF TABLE NAMES
DD03L : FIELDS IN A TABLE.
Moreover you can always goto the menu on the selection screen of the table and goto Settings > User Parameters > Key word > Field name / label
