Enable caption in WD4A

Hi ,,
In Login screen i have id and pass and button and caption also.But the caption will be disable...If the login fails it back to Login screen,at that time only the caption will be enable.How can i do this any sample related link is helpful????

Caption has a property called "Enabled". Bind this propert to some attribute in the context of type wdy_boolean.
Initially i would be false so ur Caption will be disabled and than according to ur need
set this flag true or false to enable and disable the caption..

Flag : is the attribute isnide the node of type WDY_BOOLEAN.
lv_flag : is the indicator when u have to ea=nable or disable the caption.

Thanks. This represents a change in conceptualisation from Apple. Previously, closed captions were part of Accessibilty and it was assumed that anyone usings captions would want them on 24/7. It still works this way on iOS devices. On the Apple TV, e.g., closed captions are enabled for the device, via Settings > General > Accessibility > Closed Captions + SDH. Once enabled, captions will be displayed for any content that has them.
Subtitles on the other hand (and subtitles may be in the same language as the audio, they're not just 'foreign') must be enabled or disabled per item of content via the Subtitles menu, which is arrived at by holding the centre button on the remote.
This was the way it used to work in iTunes also. Rolling the Closed Captions into the subtitles menu is new, though I guess it makes sense.

Ipod classic 120g not showing captions

I am using 6th gen ipod classic (thinner version.) My firmware is 2.0.1.
I am having problems that my captions (subtitles) aren't showing up in videos. They show up in iTunes but when I sync them, nothing goes on.
I enabled captions in iPod settings but still no luck.
I tried both Handbrake and iSubtitle for creating captioned video, both of them work in iTunes but not working in iPod. (and yes, I have tried switching between captions and subtitle options.

I have the same problem on my iPod Classic (3rd Gen firmware 2.0.4) since last system upgrade. Before it my iPod was able to play movies and show subtitles.
I have many movies converted for my iPod with soft subtitles, I've done it with Handbrake and in the past with another commercial program: on my iPhone 3GS (last firmware) subtitles work, on my iPod Nano (fatty) subtitles work on my iPod Classic subtitles worked!
The strange thing is that also iTunes has a strange behaviour about subtitles now. As matter of fact, now I can't enable (or disable) the subtitles (using menu or button on floating interface) while if I open the movie using Quicktime X or Quicktime 7 I can. It's very strange and annoying.
I already tried to restore firmware, to re-install iTunes, to repair authorizations but nothing, it's always the same.
I try to find clue googling around and I read about other users with same issues and in a forum someone said "Starting in 10.6.7, iTunes uses a AVFoundation to play movies instead of QuickTime, so there are some new bugs."
Maybe he's right but I really don't understand why and how this AVFoundation can affect on my iPod Classic.
Please, is there some Apple Guru that can explain us, how we can solve this issue?

Problems with captions in the exported file

I export my sequence as a quicktime file and the captions should be embedded in the export file. But the exported quicktime file doesn't show the captions. Who can help?

Exactly what version of Premiere are you running?
What type of captions? CEA-608? CEA-708? Teletext?
When the sequence is loaded in the Timeline, can you see the captions in the Program Monitor?
When you say "captions should be embedded in the export file," I assume that means that on the Captions tab in the Export Settings dialog you set Export Options to "Embed in Output File." Please confirm.
How are you checking for captions in the exported clips? What player? Have you enabled caption display in it?

How do I get closed captions to play when exported, nothing is working (embedding, side files etc)

I can't seem to get my closed caption track to play when exported, since my film is in german it is completely essential, none of the side files work with quicktime or vlc and neither does embedding it

First off, media players like QuickTime and VLC do not play sidecars. I believe sidecars are used for broadcasting and possibly for writing to DVD.
As for the embedded captions, a few questions:
What is the type of the caption stream? Only CEA 608 can be embedded into QuickTime clips.
In QuickTime, have you enabled caption display?
If you import the QuickTime clip with embedded captions back into Premiere Pro, are the captions present?

Closed Caption Features for iTune Movie Downloads?

While I was glad to see that Apple plans to offer a movie download service with the iTunes Store, I'm still inclined to NOT use the service if there's no assurance that closed captioned/subtitled movies will be available as well.
Will iTunes Movie downloads include captioned media?
Today's DVDs all have features enabling us to turn on captions/subtitles and it's already a shame that Netflix, according to a representative's comment made nearly two years ago, will not provide captioned movies "until the near future"...
I hope Apple takes its hearing-impaired (deaf and hard of hearing) customer base into consideration...and it IS a sizeable customer base.

The question on the minds of the millions of deaf and hard of hearing people is whether Apple will make or enable captioning for their downloadable movies. Captions for videos

Since I am almost deaf, in order to play any video in Windfows 7 (e.g., news how-to, etc.), I need to have them captioned. If this is possible, how do I go about getting caqptions turned ON?

I see that you're looking for assistance with turning on captions/subtitles for videos. I will try to assist you with this.
Just so that you're aware, enabling captions or subtitles is specific to the program being used. There's no master command for the entire computer and there may be some web players that don't offer the feature.
Show captions or subtitles in Windows Media Player - Windows media player.
Turn captions on and off - This ones for you YouTube.
How do I enable subtitles, captions and alternate audio on my device? - This is for Netflix.
I've provided the above links to show what I mean by application based, also these are popular tools for movies ect.

Does any one know the pdf only scenario?

we came across an 'undocumented feature' of interactive form usage in WDA, that's the so called pdf only scenario.
This is how it works:
1. for the form form UI element , only the pdfsource is bound to a context node , datasource and template source are empty;
2. the pdfsource is generated from a DDIC based interactive form ,by calling FUNCTION 'FP_JOB_OPEN' and FP_JOB_CLOSE;
3. user input data will be stored and send back to the pdfsource as a document(xstring);
the advantages are :
1. DDIC based forms will be available interactively online(which is more friendly to abap developers and more powerful), no need to set to the legacy mode to make it work; (according to SAP LIBRARY, function module based forms are only available for printing);
2. the context of WDA application is simple, you can switch between forms without complex binding,there is only one binding between the forms and wda context: the pdfsource;
3. using ADS method , you can easily to extract xml data out of the pdfsource, and using ST or DOM you can manipulate it easily and send to user again;
4. ZCI DDIC forms work, no need to use ACF;
we have tested this on SP16 successfully.
Imagine you are building a WDA application,that will deal with different forms with different interfaces,you will realized the power of the pdf only scenario.
unfortunately, this funcitonality is not officially supported by sap, for ddic forms we have to follow

I'm currently working on, a such scenario . My forms is based on a DDIC interface and should be used with e-mail flow ( off-line ) and into a webdynpro Abap .
In my form i got dropdownlist box populated by DDIC value , also dynamic text and information such as user name, number of holidays etc...
I'll do all the code describe in the help, unfortunately when i set my forms as enable in the WD4A , all value pre-populated in the forms ( dropdown list box, user name etc... disapears ...
If i set the same forms as not enable , all value appears correctly .
I'll debug the code to see where is the problem, it's in a method where the forms is generated twice and all value disapears. I'll send a message to OSS for this, the answer was first it's because you use dynamic text then the answer was it's because you used DDIC interface please used XML .
I look at sample web dynpro given by sap but none of them are populated when it's appears (perhaps my ides value are not set ) .
So i'm currently trying to redevelop my forms based on a XML Interface and will try it . I let you know if it's works ....

Showing subtitles rom itunes purchased file

I have several shows purchased from the itunes store that sync and play fine on my 16GB ipod touch (1st gen, software 2.1). Althought a subtitle icon is available when you start playing the show, I cannot get the subtitle to show up in iTunes or on an iPod (touch or Nano)
When I click on the subtitles icon, the Language screen comes up and stays on "loading". I checked the settings > general settings icon on my ipod to ensure my language was set to "English". I restored my ipod and reloaded the entire library. I also validated that subtitles were set to English in iTunes > Prefs.
I also tried to load these show onto my ipod nano 3 gen, and was unable to enable captions or subtitles for these same shows.
iTunes shows the subtitles bubble but does not allow you to pick an subtitle (only surround vs stereo sound). The same selection appears under Controls > Audio and Subtitles (stereo and surround).

I also have an ipod nano and noticed tha same thing. I think what i found out is...the subtitle/cc icon is always there but it lights up for shows that actually have subtitles/cc's.

Impossible to set my adobe forms as enable in WD4A

Hi all,
I define an adobe forms which can be used in off-line scenario ( by e-mail ) and on-line by WD4A.
By e-mail there's no problem my forms is enabled and user can modify the content.
IN WD4A , if i set the forms in the UI Elements as enabled then it's not display but if i set it as not enabled it's display.
Does anybody can help me ?
My forms is a ZCI one , i work on ECC 6.0 SP 14 on Abap Stack and SP12 on Java Stack .

I'll debug my WD4A application, and in class CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICES method DETERMINE_DOCPARAM codes forbidden to use Adobe forms as interactive in WD4A if it's based on SAP DDIC ...Somebody can tell me why ?

I'm still working on this problem , after lot of time spend on this i'm able to display my forms as interactive in a WD4A without using an XML Based interface .
Now i got another problem, in standard class CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICES method Update_pdf is call and in the code i do'nt understand this test :
* do additional things for the DDIC interface type
if m_interface_type = if_fp_interface=>c_interface_type_new and
     i_fillable = abap_true.
*   possibly, the data xml needs to be resend to the ADS
*   three cases:
*   (1) there are child nodes => fixed for print forms, no reason for them
*   (2) there are dropdowns
*   (3) needs to be sent anyway due to hide_toolbar
*   first, lets find out if there are dropdowns
*   <todo> cache this information!
*   update the data as necessary
    lr_data_source_info = i_data_source->get_node_info( ).
    if execute_ads_call = abap_true or
       lr_data_source_info->get_child_nodes( ) is not initial or
       "vhlist_xml <> '<sap-vhlist></sap-vhlist>'.
       1 = 1.
Can somebody tell me why there is the test 1=1 .....
With this test i lost all my data on the form , if in debug i make the result of this test false everything is ok on my form.

I succes to pass value from my WD4A to the form while using "Supply Function". Unfortunately all dynamic text define in the context of the form and all code define in the initialization part of the interface doesn't work ...so i need to transform my form into a XML one's .
Unfortunately SAP doesn't provide any support on this problem because it's not a XML interface .....

Premiere Pro CC 2014.1 - Enable Closed Captioning

I would like to enable closed captioning in my video, but the top right menu button that every forum points to isn't there. Any help?

Ah! I found it! In the video panel at the top right, click on the wrench icon. (highlighted in yellow)

I just upgraded to the latest version of Premiere Pro CC 2014... I can't seem to find a way to "enable" closed captioning!

Look for the wrench icon in the monitors, above the playback area, to the right. Tooltip for it is "Settings..." -- the menu item is in the flag menu there: Closed Captioning Display...

FrontRow and Quicktime Closed Caption Scaling and Enabling

Currently, FrontRow renders Text tracks (for example Closed Captioning and Subtitles) to the same resolution as the Video. A low-res Video will have blocky, heavily anti-aliased text.
The same video played Fullscreen from Quicktime Pro or iTunes doesn't have these Artifacts. Text is smooth and crisp.
Hopefully FrontRow 2 will render Text tracks at the same resolution as the Display.
Enabling and Disabling Text Tracks and Supplementary Audio tracks needs to be addressed in FrontRow too. Quicktime needs improvements, but at least it is possible.

Enabling closed captions

I have flash player 11.7.700.224 and need to know how to enable closed captions for use on my local TV station's website. Their videos play using Flash palyer. I usually use Firefox and have Windows 7 on my computer.
This is actually required by the the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010. I am hearing impaired and would greatly appreciate the help.
