Enable "Print Survey" button in Lead application

Hi All,
There is a "Print Survey" button in 'Evaluation' tab of CRMD_BUS2000108 application.
When clicked on that button, it doesn't print the Lead survey data. Is there any configuration that needs to be done? or can this be acheived by ABAP development using SMARTFORM and BADI.
In either case could you please let me know the solution.
Thanks in advance!
Sonali.

Hi Sonali,
We have the same requirement to print the price list using the PRINT button on PCUI Application BEAD_CNPL_PL
When we click on the print button, it takes to the Popup screen where we select PRINT check box, but nothing happens onwards.
Could you please reply on this how you resolved your issue.
Please let us know.
Thanks in Advance

• Enabling printer properties during printing

Hi All,
How can i enable printer properites button during printing, users want to change the print format and print options like potrait or landscape which can be selected form print window properties button.
The change must not reflect the global users , only independent users who wants change in formats.

• How to enable print button appear on 'application toolbar'

hi guys,
may i know to enable print button appear on 'application toolbar' by using CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'?
thanks.

Hi,
Create a PF status in SE41 with all the status which you required.
Like save, exit, cancel and print.
Then you include this staus in the importing parameter
( I_CALLBACK_PF_STATUS_SET ) of Function module REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
If you doesnt give any status also, by default you can seen the print option in status.
Try with this and let me know

• Button in the lead application

Dear All
I am working on CRM 7.0
I want to add a button in the lead application so I can call a URL from there, a button like save, expert and so on
Can I do it via configuration or I need I kind of BSP enhancement
Regards
Shawky

Hi Mohamed
I have only access to a CRM 5.2 system, but I suppose the solution is the same. As Verena wrote you need enhancement. In the following I assume you want to add the button to BT108H_LEA/LeadOVViewSet (Please let me know if this is not the case). You need to use the on_client_click instead of the normal on_click (On_click can also be used if you want an event to be triggered on the server).
To do this you have to enhance method IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_BUTTONS of CL_BT108H_L_LEADOVVIEWSET_IMPL. In the following you do not have to use the 2 string, but we did, because we build a dynamic url:
DATA: lv_java       TYPE string
lv_http       TYPE string
CONCATENATE 'javascript:window.open'
lv_http
'","Print","resizable=yes,height=850,width=700,dependent=yes,status=1");'
INTO lv_java.
CLEAR ls_button.
ls_button-tooltip         = cl_wd_utilities=>get_otr_text_by_alias( 'Package/Text' ).
ls_button-text            = cl_wd_utilities=>get_otr_text_by_alias( 'Package/Text' ).
ls_button-on_client_click = lv_java.
ls_button-enabled         = abap_true.
ls_button-page_id         = me->component_id.
APPEND ls_button TO rt_buttons.
Best regards, Peter

• How to enable the print & archive button that appear in the smartform outpu

How to enable the print & archive button that appear in the smartform output.....

Hi,
I agree with the details which has been given above, but still if you want to default option 3 "Print & Archive" in drop down, it is possible.
All you need to do is to set the value of output_options structure field "TDARMOD" as "3" while passing the parameters to dynamic function module of smartform.
That will select "Print and Archive" in background and display to user.

I follow your instruction as below:
1) download the sample app vbnet_win_printtoprinter.zip to dev computer and compile it to .NET 2005.
- Run from my dev computer
- Click "Print Report" button
- Error message display - please see below
The error was due to the default printer name hard coded in the program was not found. I have edited to my printer name and it can be printed out with no error.
2) Use a "saved data" report so that you do not have to worry about database logon.
can't find the "saved data", please elaborate
3) Then copy the exe to the 64 bit box and try to print using this sample app.
-do you mean copy the exe to the 64 bit computer for testing ?

• SplWOW64 Service APP Crash when Print Spooling from a 32bit Application

Wanted to throw out an informational post to hopefully save some people some time!
The issue that I encountered is related to users running Windows 7 64-bit trying to print from a 32-bit application.
This started as what I thought was a QuickBooks issue and after too many hours of debugging came back to an error with the splWOW64 Spool Service.
If you are in Firefox you will get an "Error encountered while printing" or in QuickBooks you will get about 5 different Cannot Connect to Printer Errors. You can view the error in the Event Viewer from Administrator Tools. The error is an APP CRASH
related to the sqlWOW64 Service.
To fix this error you will need to Manually Restart the Print Spooling Service from Services. To get there go:
Start->Right Click on Computer-> Manage
After you have restarted the service (or you can restart the computer) go to your Devices and Printers accessible from the Start Menu. Follow these steps to disable Spooling:
Right Click on the Printer and Select Printer Properties
Select the Advanced Tab
Click the Radio Button next to "Print Directly to Printer" instead of the top option to spool.
Try to print from any 32-bit application.
If this doesn't resolve the issue and you are using a network printer you may need to update the drivers for the printer manually instead of find
From the Devices and Printers:
Add a Printer
Add a Local Printer
Create New Port -> Select TCP/IP
Enter in the IP Configuration
When it asks you to Select a printer hit Windows Update to Update the Printer Drivers
After this is complete Select your printer.
When Prompted use the Replace driver option
Make sure the Settings for the printer are the same as listed above
Hopefully this will save some troubleshooting time and Microsoft can get 32 bit print spooling fixed!

If you have an older HP printer, there is a QFE for splwow64.exe. You can determine which file is causing the process corruption as well if you wanted to narrow this down further. I assume you already picked up the QuickBooks fix for this issue
as stated in this post

• Is it possible to print a JPanel from the application?

Hello,
Just a quick question: Is it possible to print a JPanel from your application? I have plotted a graph and I would like user to be able to print this with a click of a button (or similar)
Thanks very much for your help, its appreciated as always.
Harold Clements

It is absolutely possible
Check out my StandardPrint class. Basically all you need to do is
(this is pseudocode. I don't remember the exact names of methods for all this stuff. Look it up if there's a problem)
PrinterJob pd = PrinterJob.createNewJob();
StandardPrint sp = new StandardPrint(yourComponent);
pd.setPageable(sp);
//if you want this
//pd.pageDialog();
pd.doPrint();You are welcome to have use and modify this class but please don't change the package or take credit for it as your own code.

• How do you enable 'Create Content' button on 'Add Content' page?

How do you enable ‘Create Content’ button on ‘Add Content’ page?
There is new functionality to a ‘Layout’ type personalization page like ‘Sales Dashboard’.
Bug 4503123 INCONSISTENT WAY OF ADDING USER-DEFINED REGIONS ON WYSIWYG PAGE:
There’s no way to add custom content to a configurable page.
Add a “Create Content” button and let the user create a piece of content that extends to a region he creates.
It says: Fixed->11.5.10.3CU
In Oracle® Application Framework Personalization Guide Release 11i Part No. B25439-02 it says:
p 4-5
If you personalize a non-configurable page (a page that does not have the necessary metadata to personalize its layout) or when you run your application in Accessibility mode (profile option Self Service Accessibility Features (ICX_ACCESSIBILITY_FEATURES) is set to Standard Accessibility), you will not see the Page Layout Personalization page, as shown below. Instead, you will see the Page Hierarchy Personalization page, page 4-12, where you can perform the same personalization functions, using a descriptive tabular user interface.
It tried this and can’t get it to display.
Has anyone run accross this before?

user587952,
Can you describe your issue in detail forgetting those references for the time being. What exactly are you trying to do?
Check this from the dev guide:
In order to be able to take full advantage of page layout personalization capabilities, it is important when you create your configurable page, to use flexibleLayout and flexibleContent regions at all levels when you create the page hierarchy structure under your page layout region. In Oracle Applications, this is required, as it is the coding standard.

• Enabling and disabling buttons in actionscript

in flex i love using the enabled option for buttons (so when the user has not yet selected something in a datagrid or if a variable in the app is not properly set the button will not be enabled and will be grayed out... but once the condition is true the button automatically becomes enabled) like this:
<mx:Button
label="Save Changes" icon="@Embed(source='images/disk.png')" click="saveData();"enabled="
{firstID != 0 && changesMade == true}"/>
i have a control bar that has buttons but if the user is an Admin they have additional buttons (which i created using actionscript in an initApp() function once the app initializes like this):
if (adminList.indexOf(Application.application.parameters.emplid) != -1){
var but:Button = new Button();but.label =
"Delete Account";but.addEventListener(
"click",confirm);but.setStyle(
"icon", deleteIcon);
this.toolbar.addChild(but);}
how can i code the enabled function that i use i mxml in actionscript in the code above?

oops i just realized i forgot the return type.
this is helpful when the button is first created and the app is first initialized... but i need this button to automatically become enabled if the user does something (like click on a datagrid) and automatically disabled when the user clicks off of the datagrid (or some action that would enable/disable the button).
public function loadAdmins(returnedEvent:ResultEvent):void {adminList = returnedEvent.result[0].DEPT_LIST;
if (adminList.indexOf(Application.application.parameters.emplid) != -1){
var delBtn:Button = new Button();delBtn.label =
"Delete Account";delBtn.addEventListener(
"click",confirm);delBtn.setStyle(
"icon", deleteIcon);delBtn.enabled=delBtnEnabled();
this.toolbar.addChild(delBtn);}
public function delBtnEnabled():Boolean{
var returnVal:Boolean;
if (firstID != 0){returnVal =
true;}
else{returnVal =
false;}
return returnVal;}

• How to Enable the SAVE button in the Menu Bar of the Invoice Document.

Hi.
How to Enable the SAVE button in the Menu Bar of the Invoice Document as it is disabled for me.
I would like to save the Invoice document in PDF format.
Regards
Irfan

Hi,
Normally, for the archiving or generation of the invoice document in PDF format is handled by maintaining the output records through VV31/VV32 with the relevant printer, storage mode ( 3- print and archive or 2- archive only ), no. of messages ( means no of copies ) in the communication method.
Then when you click the print button through VF03 in the print options pop-up you get a print at the physical printer and at the same time an archived copy ( PDF copy ) attached with the document.
So, please make sure the output records are fine to allow a PDF copy generated and then try to print and check in VF03 by entering into the billing document.
Hope this helps you.
However, from the print preview you normally would not be allowed to save or print.
Regards,
Ram

• Dropdown box of Lead application

Hi Guys,
How can I change the dropdown default in the show dropdown box of Lead application from "My Favorites" to "My Leads". Also, if I want to add an extra listing in this dropdown box how do I achieve it.
Thanks in advance,
Bobby

Hi Bobby,
You can change the setting per user in "settings" in the search area. You can select the entry which should be shown in. This setting is forper user. If you want to make global change. There some thing called copy global query in crmc_blueprint_c. you should use that.
To create another entry in Show dropdown. Save a query using save button in the search area.&GET dropdown gets its values from the fieldgroup(FG) assigned to the search area. There is rule to display fieds in the get dropdown. It takes all fields in the FG which are visible in the LIST. FIRST field in the FG will be shown as default in the GET DDLB.
For example look at the CRMM_ACCOUNT shows Account ID as default. Because field PARTNER1 is first field the FG ACC_SEARCH_LOG_11 which is inlcude in the FG ACC_SEARCH_04. Move the SORT1 field to position 1 in FG ACC_SEARCH_LOG_11. Now "Sort term 1" will be defaulted in the GET DDLB
Hope this will solve the problem
