Enabling BPM worklist for AIA error notification

Is there a way to check (database, config file etc.) to check if HWF is enabled or not.
I have followed the steps to enable BPM Worklist
Set the EH.INVOKE.HWF property value to true.
Reload updates to the AIAConfigurationProperties.xml file.
But after that when there is an error in my BPEL process , it goes upto AIAReadJMSNotificationProcess , but there it goes to the flow Empty_HWFNotEnabled. And I don't see the error in the BPM Worklist.
Have I missed any step?
I checked the BPEL process for AIAReadJMSNotificationProcess and the function it calls to check HWF enablement is :aia:getSystemModuleProperty('ErrorHandler','EH.INVOKE.HWF',true())= 'true'
Does anybody know what it does?

Hi,
I am facing the same error.
Scenario 1:
More specifically, I have developed my SOA Composite and deployed it using the EM Console. Then I exported my Human Task Adf application as an EAR and deployed the same using EM.
I also updated the URI under Component metrics--> Adminstration ( However, I am not sure what form this URI should take??)
Whenever, I am trying to access the task details, I am seeing the Internal Server Error.
Scenario 2:
If I follow the standard procedure of deploying using Jdeveloper, there are no issues and I am able to access the task details.
So I know that the applications are built properly and working. There is some association missing when I do the deployments manually as stated in Scenario 1.
Any help would be appreciated in getting the Scenario 1 to work is highly appreciated....
Thanks in advance !!

  • AIA Error Notification Format : HTML Tags

    Hi All,
    I am trying to customize the AIA Error notifications in AIAEHNotification.xml file to include the html tags such as <font color="blue"> etc. to change the look of the error message. But the same is not getting reflected in the error emails I receive.
    I'm sure the file AIAEHNotification.xml is getting updated as I can see my updated content every time but not html formatted in any case.
    Does default AIA Error handler support HTML tags inside the email body message or it just uses <pre> by default before sending the notification?
    AIA 3.0
    SOA Suite 11.1.1.3
    Regards,
    Neeraj sehgal

    Neeraj,
    html tags are not supported in the AIA EH notification framework as of now and I am not aware of any plans to support this in any of the next releases.

  • BPM Worklist Task Details Error

    When I open the BPM worklist app via IP address and click on an item for task details, it makes a call to an internal server name that cannot be resolved.
    Is there somewhere I can change the BPM configuration so that the worklist details opens successfully? This issue appears to affect the Task LIst Portlet as well.

  • Enable SMTP debug for OIM 11g notifications

    Hi,
    OIM 11g here. I am trying to set up reset password notification, but no way. I would like to know how to enable the debug mode to see what SMTP commands are issued towards the mail server. I have already trying setting to TRACE:32 the logger class oracle.iam.notification, but didn't help
    thanks in advance.
    Alex

    Rajiv,
    that's exactly what I have tried, i created an IT Resource (Mail server type) with authentication=false, no user/password (the server allows unauthenticated connections) and the hostname of the SMTP server (reachable, no firewall in between). The IT Resource name is the same one that i have specified in the system properties. That's all and it didn't work. No error, only something like "mail notification not successful". That's why I am asking a way to see the SMTP commands issued by OIM.

  • BPM Problem: Schema validation error notification

    Hello all,
    When a schema validation error takes place upon receiving XML messages via HTTP, is there something that can be set up in BPM to notify data owners? (either alert or email)
    Regards,
    Steve

    Bhavesh,
    <i>When you mean source schema validation, does it imply that you want to validate your Source XML before graphical mapping to make sure it meets the Source XML Schema?</i>
    validate my Source XML
    <i>As you pointed out you are usinga BPM, you can wrap the Transfromation step with a Exception handling block, so when there is a mismatch of Source schema and ite actual message the exception handler will be invoked and in the exception handler you can trigger alerts using the control step.</i>
    I'm using an outbound interface (outside BPM) to call the abstract interface (very first step in BPM), and there's a tranformation step after that.
    -If the Source schema is wrong, will the error take place at the outbound interface or at the transformation step?  If outside at the outbound interface, i wouldn't be able to wrap anything around it.
    -Exception handling block means the BLOCK step?
    Regards,
    Steve

  • JMS Adapter is not picking messages from Topic ( AIA Error Notification)

    Hi All,
    One of my service is not picking messages from topic. This service was working in one environment but not working in this environment.
    I am using AIA 2.5 and using AIAErrorNotification.
    Service AIAAsyncErrorHandlingBPELProcess is enquing the message but consumer service AIAReadJMSNotificationProcess is not being invoked automatically.
    Whenever we are manually invoking this service, then this service is dequing messages from topic.
    Is any have any clue for this?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Increase Log level for cube.activation to debug and check the logs by stopping & starting the activation agent(I mean Retire and activate the process) .. It should give a clue on what's happening..

  • Disable Mail for Exchange error notification

    Hi,
    I am using Mail for exchange 2.0.7.000 (shown as 2.7 on download page and 2.0.7.000 on MFE about) on E90 (300.34.8427-08)
    It is giving error per minute that Error Syncing Calendar.
    sometime "Error syncing email".
    This started after I installed 2.0.7 on E90. it also hangs my phone every 3-4 hour and I have to restart my mobile.
    I want to suppress these messages, I dont care if it does not sync for some time. how can I disable these message.
    It is very weird that it keeps waiting for my input and blocks my working on phone.
    the only way I see is to turn the MFE to manual sync.
    any help?

    Is it really so that there's noone with sam problem? Has anyone heard about the same errorcode?

  • Problem enabling HWF(BPEL Worklist) in AIA

    Hi,
    Jus to reiterate.. Ensure you are udpating the below mentioned path.
    Access AIAConfigurationProperties.xml located in
    <AIA_HOME>/aia_instances/$INSTANCE_NAME/AIAMetaData/config.
    Try writing a sample process to get the value through AIA xptah function.
    aia:getSystemModuleProperty('ErrorHandler','EH.INVOKE.HWF',true())
    If tht works, then your configuration got loaded successfully.
    Regards,
    Rahul

  • Using Flex Fields in BPM worklist

    Hi,
    Am trying to use flexfileds in BPM worklist so that I can have additional attributes from the payload associated from the humantask type , in the task header that appears in home page.
    Am able to create new label and then tried following steps :-
    1. Clicked Edit mappings by task type and selected my task type whose payload attributes are required to be mapped with the flex fields.
    2. The value "default/sampleta!1.0*soa_b4396581-d005-4374-be29-5cd725c3e134/Humantask" gets populated in the fields "Edit mappings by task type".
    3. However , it shows the message "There are no simple Payload Attributes associated with this TaskType".
    I thought that I need to make use of Mapped Attributes section in the Data tab found in humanworkflow task . However when I tried adding attribute there it showed me following error message :-

    I have couple of questions :-
    1. For the payload attribute to appear in the BPM worklist sreen while mapping for the flex field , I understand that it should be of simple type . My payload looks like this :-
    <ns:employees>
    <ns:employee>
    <ns:name>John</ns:name>
    <ns:age>37</ns:initiator>
    <ns:salary>20000</ns:salary>
    </ns:employee>
    </ns:employees>
    I expected name , age , salary to appear in BPM worklist for mapping after I select task type against "Edit mappings by task type" while doing flex field mapping however it is showing me : There are no simple Payload Attributes associated with this TaskType
    2. Please advise if I need to anything extra like adding mapped attributes (in Data section of Humantask) or Collections in Task parameter window .
    Can anyone please help me on this .
    Thanks in advance !

    Are you sure the xml is correct here:
    <ns:employee>
    <ns:name>John</ns:name>
    <ns:age>37</ns:initiator>
    <ns:salary>20000</ns:salary>
    </ns:employee>
    It should be <ns:age>37</ns:age>, I believe.
    I have a xsd definition like this:
    <element name="loanApplication">
    <complexType>
    <sequence>
         <element name="SSN" type="string"/>
         <element name="email" type="string"/>
         <element name="customerName" type="string"/>
         <element name="customerAge" type="int"/>
         <element name="customerAnnualIncome" type="double"/>
         <element name="city" type="string"/>
         <element name="state" type="string"/>
         <element name="country" type="string"/>
         <element name="loanAmount" type="double"/>
         <element name="carMake" type="string"/>
         <element name="carModel" type="string"/>
         <element name="carYear" type="string"/>
         <element name="creditRating" type="int"/>
         <element name="creditRisk" type="string"/>
         <element name="creditMaxAmount" type="double"/>
    </sequence>
    </complexType>
    </element>
    And I am able to do the mapping without any issues.

  • AIA error emails not going out

    Hi All
    We have setup a QA box and deployed the code. Now while testing found that AIA Error notifications are not being sent incase of remote/binding faults. The same setup was done on Dev box and it works fine.
    1. Set the email driver properties from EM Console :
    OutgoingMailServer :
    OutgoingMailServerPort : 25
    OutgoingMailServerSecurity : none
    OutgoingDefaultFromAddress: [email protected]
    2. In <AIAHome>/AIAMetaData/config/AIAConfigurationproperties file , below properties are set
    <Property name="EH.INVOKE.NOTIFY">true</Property>
    <Property name="FROM.EMAIL.ID">Email:[email protected]</Property>
    <Property name="EH.DEFAULT.ACTOR.ROLE">AIAIntegrationAdmin</Property>
    3. In http://<host>:<port>/sdpmessaging/userprefs-ui console add email Id to user AIAIntegrationAdmin. Login to this console with AIAIntegrationAdmin/welcome1
    4. Upload the AIAConfigurationproperties file to MDS and Reload the configuration from AIA Console setup page. (http://<host>:<port>/AIA/faces/home.jspx)
    Now step4 is where we had an issue in QA. I uploaded the file to MDS but for reloading the configuration tried logging into AIA Console page. Here it doesnt have any buttons for clicking on Setup.
    Also found that the AIAApplication is down from admin console. When I try starting it, throws an error
    weblogic.management.DeploymentException: [Deployer:149003]Unable to access application source information in '/opt/apps/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/aiarv_domain/servers/aiarv_server/stage/AIAApplication/AIAApplication.ear' for application 'AIAApplication'. The specific error is: [Deployer:149158]No application files exist at '/opt/apps/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/aiarv_domain/servers/aiarv_server/stage/AIAApplication/AIAApplication.ear'..
    Errors were encountered while performing this operation.
    If I try to manually copy the AIAApplication.ear from admin server location into above mentioned path and then start AIAApplication, it starts but after restarting server again same error occurs.
    Is this an issue with AIA Installation on this server ? And are the AIAApplication and AIAConsole issues related?
    Regards
    Subhankar

    Hi Gerhard
    I had already set 'Workflow Notification Properties' to 'Email' . The problem for me was with the way I had updated the UpdateMetaDataDP.xml for loading the AIAConfigurationProperties.xml into MDS.
    I had specified as below :
    <fileset dir="${AIA_HOME}/AIAMetaData">
    <include name="../aia_instances/instance_name/AIAMetaData/config/AIAConfigurationProperties.xml" />
    </fileset>
    I changed it to below and reloaded the config file. Now emails are going out fine.
    <fileset dir="${AIA_HOME}/aia_instances/instance_name/AIAMetaData">
    <include name="config/AIAConfigurationProperties.xml" />
    </fileset>
    I had one final question:
    In the User messaging preference console (http://<host>:<port>/sdpmessaging/userprefs-ui) can we add a comma separated list of email ids to the user
    AIAIntegrationAdmin ?
    Regards
    Subhankar

  • Tasks not being logged in BPM worklist app for AIAIntegrationAdminUser

    Hi all,
    As per error handling framework in AIA, i read that whenever a partnerlink error occurs in BPEL process, it goes to the fault policy in the server, performs the action defined in fault policy and then sends erro notification to the role defined in AIAConfigurationProperties.xml.
    I have tried the same and put retry as my action in fault policy. My process is getting retried also as per the fault policy defined.
    BUt the error notification is not being sent to AIAIntegrationAdminUser. AIAIntegrationAdmin is the defualt role mentioned in the AIAConfigurationProperties.xml file.
    PLease let me know if I have missed anything.

    Your correct, AIAIntegrationAdmin is the default role that all error notifications get sent to. The BPM Worklist Application by default is not enabled. You need to update the AIAConfigurationPropertiers.xml file and update the medata store. The property in the AIAConfiguraitonProperties.xml is called EH.INVOKE.HWF and that needs to be set to true.

  • How to Enable the Oracle BPM Worklist?

    Hi!
    Newbie here.
    So how do you enable the Oracle BPM Worklist?
    Sure there a tutorial for this found in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e17366/chapter16.htm#BABHCICI
    and in section "16.2 How to Enable the Oracle BPM Worklist" it says
    "By default, Oracle BPM Worklist functionality is disabled. You can enable this functionality in AIAConfigurationProperties.xml.
    To enable the Oracle BPM Worklist:
    -Access AIAConfigurationProperties.xml located in <AIA_HOME>/aia_instances/$INSTANCE_NAME/AIAMetaData/config.
    -Set the EH.INVOKE.HWF property value to true.
    -Reload updates to the AIAConfigurationProperties.xml file."
    However upon searching for the file "AIAConfigurationProperties.xml" or even the directory "aia_instances" in our servers, I could not find them. Please help me!

    If you are talking about 11g Worklist app, then you won't be able to do that, since the source code is not shipped with the product. The better way is to create the custom worklist application using the Worklist APIs. Refer to the SOA Developers Guide.
    In case of 10g, you can access the source code of Worklist app, even in that case, you can do your requirement using the exposed APIs.

    JDev version: JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0.

    Well, could be a DB bug. I seem to remember that there was a bug in that area in an older version of 11g.
    Or you could use jnettrace to trace the calls made by the driver to the DB. That should show you what's going wrong.

    I am getting the above error when selecting the new task in oracle bpm worklist.I am not able use my Human work flow.
    so any one can help me,
    waiting for the reply...

    Hi
    1. I am guessing you got this application/project from some other team member or from source code control system.
    2. Basically looks like some tag libs are not getting resolved and hence this tag <wlc:taskHistory is not understood as a tag. Hence the syntax error.
    3. In JDeveloper, select your TaskFormsUIProject that has this taskDetails1.jspx file. Right Click -> Project Properties.
    4. In Project Properties window, on left side, select JSP Tag Libraries. On right side, I am betting you should see some entries in Red Color like "Worklist Component 1.0". Select this and on right side, see the location in the first field named TLD File: which is something like shown below. Now most probably this folder structure do not match with where you have JDeveloper in your machine. You need to fix this. First copy this value, so that you know where the JAR file is located.
    C:/Oracle/Middleware/Jdeveloper115/jdeveloper/soa/modules/oracle.soa.worklist_11.1.1/adflibWorklistComponents.jar!/META-INF/worklistComponents.tld
    5. Delete this entry. Click on Add button. In the pop up window, select like Project -> click on New button. Now browse and select the .jar file from your JDeveloper installed folder like for ex: C:/Oracle/Middleware/Jdeveloper115/jdeveloper/soa/modules/oracle.soa.worklist_11.1.1/adflibWorklistComponents.jar and hit OK Button. Now you should see a new entry added in Tag Libraries named "Worklist Component 1.0". Hit Ok. Save the Project. Compile once.
    6. Redeploy your application/project the way you do. Test it.
    Repeat the steps for any Tag Libraries that you see in Red Color. Note down the location first of the JAR file that has the .tld. Then remove it. Add a new entry and select this .JAR from your local JDev folder structure.
    Thanks
