Encoded URL not being decoded by midelt

hi,
I am using Kannel(an open source sms gateway) to send a url to a midlet at port 16555. The midlet works fine, but the only problem i am facing is that, it does not decode the URL which is of the form:
%FF%06%01%AE%02%05%6A%00%45%C6%0C%03%77%77%77%2e%67%6f%6f%67%6c%65%2e%63%6f%2e%69%6e%2f%6d%6f%62%69%6c%65%00%01%03%57%65%6c%63%6f%6d%65%20%74%6f%20%47%6f%6f%67%6c%65%00%01%01%
I get a msg BinaryMessageImpl@83f4a60 instead of the URL.
Please help!

  • Mail attachments not being decoded

I use the mail.app to get mail from a Lotus mail server via Lotus's IMAP support. Currently mail attachments in messages sent by a LotusNotes client have not been decoding and are appearing as ascii-encoded text in the body of the mail message. When I use Thunderbird to access my mail, the attachments decode properly. Any thoughts on how to address this problem in mail.app?
    Thanks for your help.

This happens when you have Always Insert Attachments at end of Message selected and you have not text in the body of the message. If you add any text, you should be able to add the attachment.
Seems to me it's a bit of an oversight of the programming in that it is trying to find the "end of the Message" but can't, so it fails silently.

  • Delete URL not being called in AppCloud Action Service

Has anyone been able to get the Delete URL to work in an AppCloud Action Service?
We've tried just about everything, and can't get Eloqua to call our URL. We are wondering if anyone else has been successful (indicating that it is our problem) or if there is a general issue with the AppCloud framework?
    Thanks,
    AR

I did some more research and I think I was completely misunderstanding Oracle's implementation of delete rules. Now I believe that Oracle implements the "RESTRICT" option in SQL Developer Data Modeler as "No Action", which is the default option, hence why no DDL option is generated. However, it would still be nice if Data Modeler could detect this fact when comparing two models. What I mean it, if comparing an Oracle DB to a model, treat Restrict and No Action as the same, and thus don't attempt to re-generate the DDL for this "difference". For now, I'll just change the action on my models to No Action, and this should resolve the issue.

  • Integration Server URL not being updated in SXMB_ADMIN

I have changed an incorrect entry in the SLD for my business system for my XI installation (port was wrong).
When I go into SXMB_ADMIN --> Integration Engine --> Configuration --> Integration Engine Configuration
The corresponding Integration Server has the wrong port entry (the old one).  So, I goto "Goto" --> Change Global Configuration --> and click on System Landscape and it pulls back the old entry (supposedly from the SLD)!
I have run RZ70 and the SLD bridge in the Visual Admin with no effect.  Where is this data cached?  I need to get the right data.  The developers can't work (this was a new PI 7.0 installation (failed at the wizard configuration step create business system -- was installed by someone else).  Your help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

  • URLs are not being recognized inside PDF

URL links inside a PDF that I've created in InDesign CS5 are not being recognized.
I have email and website URLs embedded inside a PDF that was created in InDesign. These links are being recognized and I can click on them in Chrome, Opera, IE or Safari on the Mac. Eg, hovering over the mailto or http URLs the cursor turns to a hand and the links are clickable. Firefox is the only browser that does not recognize ANY links in the PDF. The cursor doesn't change to a hand instead it just remains as the standard text insertion cursor. The links are not clickable.
    Firefox 26.0
Adobe Reader plugin 11.0.4.63 (latest as of today)

Current Firefox versions have enabled a built-in PDF Viewer that doesn't have all features that other PDF readers like the Adobe Reader have or may not function properly otherwise.
You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) from Preview in Firefox to use another application like the Adobe Reader or set to Always Ask in "Firefox > Options/Preferences > Applications".
You can set the pdfjs.disabled pref to true on the <b>about:config</b> page to disable the build-in PDF viewer.
You can check the value of the plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types pref on the about:config page and remove the application/pdf part if present or reset the pref to the default via the right-click context menu if you want to display PDF documents in Firefox with another application (i.e. not the built-in PDF Viewer).

  • How to change the character set encoding not being a superset one

HI, i have a fresh installed database, but i realize the character set support in my client is not good enough, since its a not production database i want to change the character set encoding to anothor one not being a superset of the old one.
I have tried the "ALTER DATABASE CHARACTER SET WE8MSWIN1252" but it fails claiming i need a superset one.
I guess its just a single steps to do it, i have all the privileges, just not the time to reinstall and setup everything.

Do you know what that does to the existing data, though? My hunch would be that any characters which have a different binary representation in the source & target character sets would be corrupted.

  • Ampersands not being encoded in recordset paging

Trying to validate a page and it appears that the ampersands
are not being encoded, thus not validating the page. When I create
a link and use parameters the ampersands get encoded correctly, its
just the next/previous links that don't appear to get encoded. Any
ideas how to overcome this? The links in Dreamweaver are just
variables, and I could try to replace the & in the function
that creates them with &Amp; but I would have to do this
    everytime I used recordset paging.
    Steve

I used the wrong syntax for the URLEncode, here is what made
    it work:
    <%
    MM_moveFirst = Server.URLEncode(MM_moveFirst)
    MM_moveLast = Server.URLEncode(MM_moveLast)
    MM_moveNext = Server.URLEncode(MM_moveNext)
    MM_movePrev = Server.URLEncode(MM_movePrev)
    %>
Once I had sorted these I had to also sort all the other
ones, and am still struggling to get it to validate, it seems like
a lot of work, so will leave it for another day.

  • [SOLVED] Encoded URL's are Re-Encoded When Clicked

Some of our users here are copying URL's of relevant files [from one of our sites] and pasting them into Excel.
As the need arises, they refer back to the Excel document and click the link to retrieve the document.
    When clicked the already-encoded URL's:
    https://sub.domain/some/path/to/files/My%20Super%20Long%20File%20Name-Thats%20Already%20Encoded.pdf
Are getting encoded a second time, which result in a URL like:
    https://sub.domain/some/path/to/files/My%2520Super%2520Long%2520File%2520Name-Thats%2520Already%2520Encoded.pdf
This naturally won't work because its now literally looking for a file called "My%20Super%20Long%20File%20Name-Thats%20Already%20Encoded.pdf" which of course doesn't exist.
The URL's in Excel appear normal in the cells themselves.
The editing the actual hyperlink confirms its also correct there as well.
The URL's also look normal in the formula bar.
I've reproduced this behavior on multiple company machines: Windows 7 x64 Enterprise SP1 with Office ProPlus 2010 32-bit.
I was also able to reproduce this on vanilla Windows 7 VM's in Hyper-V using Office ProPlus 2010 and 2013.  Although domain joined, they're in an OU with blocked inheritance enabled and no linked GPO's.
I can't figure out where the problem is: Excel, Windows, IIS or something else?

    Hi,
I’ve done a test for this situation, but the url won’t change after reopening the file.
    1. A pdf file in SharePoint, and the file name contains some spaces which is the same with customers.
    2. Input the SharePoint URL into Excel, and each spaces has been replaced by %20
    3. Then, I can open the file in IE
    4. After I closed the website and excel file, I could open it in IE again and the URL didn’t change.
As you mentioned in the ticket “Are getting encoded a second time, which result in a URL like”, may I know if the re-encoding was done automatically or manually? Based on the test result, it won’t encode a second automatically.
If it is done manually, the issue should be most likely caused by the space character being encoded twice, because the space character is encoded as %20 as our two url show. However, based on your second url, it turned into %2520, Since the % character
is encoded as %25, it should be a result of a double encoded. Actually, URLs need their characters to be in a specific format, ASCII characters, so that browsers can correctly interpret and parse the data. For every ASCII character in URLs, it will be encoded
a string starting with %, and % is also an ASCII character in URLs and encoded to %25. If we double encode a URL, which results that every ASCII character in the URL will be encoded a string starting with %25, and that the URL becomes invalid. Therefore, I
suggest you name the file using
    alpha-numeric
    characters
only or do not encode it twice.
If it is done automatically, since you have reproduced the issue on multiple machines, could you please help check the following Excel settings in several machines to make comparisons with each other.
Excel Option>Advanced, Scroll to the General section and click Web Options, select Encoding
If it possible, would you mind sharing a test file with me to do a test from my end?

    Hi,
I am slightly confused. The 501 error is coming from the Glassfish server so I would post into that alias.  However I did notice 1 thing. The POST body contents
    is  "url=%2Findex.html&userName=TECNIC&password=pass"
The content-length is given as 46 but that is 47 chars, That might be caused by the encoding of the "/" as %2F.  it looks like "=pass" is being sent as the method.
I would do a separate snoop on the conversation on what is incoming to the Web server as the one above looks confused. We see a POST, which is given a 302 then
a GET. Can you split out both sides so we can see what comes in. Also check for unprinted chars.

  • Dynamic image is not being displayed in Adobe Reader 8.1

    Hi,
In interactive form, we have followed below required steps to show a dynamic image.
For the left image, drag and drop an Image Field element from the standard Library tab to the Body Pages pane. Select this image field and edit the following properties:
    • Click on the Layout tab and choose None for the Caption position.
    • Click on the Object, then the Binding tab and choose None for Default Binding.
    • Click on the Field tab, enter $record.SapOnlineShopUrl for the URL entry, and select Use Image Size for the Sizing field.
    • Click on the script editor and enter the following FormCalc script statement, which enables the dynamic integration of the image. Show: initialize Script: this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
    Language: FormCalc Run At: Client
Image is displayed properly in Adobe reader 7.1 but it's not being displayed in Adobe reader 8.1.
I was going through some forums and understand that Adobe 8.1 blocks href URL. If this is indeed true, what's the alternative way to show a dynamic image?

  • Web Cache 'Ping URL' not working.

    Hi,
I have recently installed a Webcache clustered pair which sit in front of OHS which reverse proxys back to OUCM/Web Logic, my OWC version is 11.1.1.2 and am looking for some clarification of how the Ping URL actually works in Web Cache.
When OHS is shutdown, Webcache detects the service is down and prevents it from servicing requests, however it will not mark the service as down when I intentionally set ping URL to a page that does not exist generating a 404, will Ping URL polling only mark a server as being down if a 500 error is generated?
Something else I would like clarification of is 'Ping Interval', I have set this to be aggressive at '1' however I do not see any polling traffic or see any hits in OHS log that indicate polling of the Ping URL is taking place.
    Thanks in advance,
    Mark.

Not sure I need any update to this now, I've just read through the help section 'help/edit_add_appserver.htm' and can see that a 404 is not considered a failure and also that the server only starts to poll when the failover threshold has been reached.
This would explain why the server was not being marked as down, although I'm still not sure why I do not see the polling traffic in Apache logs but I can live with that :)
    Cheers,
    Mark.

  • XML file not being read by Accordion Demo

I had this working last week and it was a beautiful thing. I

    Please help.
Is there any stpes that i am missing.
    Thanks,
    Nisha

    Hi Nisha
If you are using a code 128 barcode font then you need to call an encoding class to transform the input, delivery_id from say '123456789' to an encoded string string, say '!wrwr34353'
It looks like you are on the right track. Some thoughts:
    1. You say its a demo font - are there any limitations that IDAutomation has documented e.g. it will not handle certain characters in the barcode font?
    2. You should not really copy and paste from the documentation - that was an example class. IDAutomation, I know provides the java code algorithms to encode the data correctly for their fonts. That said the basic structure of the class is good to use you just need to plug IDAutomation's java code into it
    3. You get warnings, this should not prevent the .class file being generated.
    4. To test that the class is being called correctly. Change the font on your delivery field to a humanly readable font, say Arial. Now run the template against the data - you should see the encoded value for the delivery id in the output. If its the same as the data in the XML delivery_id element then your class is not being called correctly. this could be caused by:
    a. The class is not in the classpath for the publisher engine - from your directory path it looks like you are using EBS and you are putting it in the right place. Whats the field contents for the barcode vendor registration field?
    b. The class is not encoding the result correctly - to test this and c. you should add a 'main' method that you can call to test the class outside of EBS
    c. the class is erroring out somewhere - see above
If you are getting a barcode on your output then the font is in the right place. Are you testing in Template Builder or on the server? If the hardware is not reading it then I would suggest you check 1 and 2 above and then carry out step 4 to check its being encoded.
you might also check out this blof article on the encoding - http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2006/06/advanced_barcode_support.html
