End of loop in FindFirst

Hello everybody,
I should be very interested to know if anybody has already seen such messages.
When I launch a FindFirst on an OraDynaset, I see a message with "End of Loop" as a title, and in the text :
Ins: 1, BS: 0, BV:0 VS:1
and an OK button.
When validating, following messages run :
Ins: 2, BS: 0, BV:0 VS: 2
Ins: 3, BS: 1, BV:0 VS: 0
Ins: 4, BS: 1, BV:0 VS: 1
Ins: 5, BS: 1, BV:0 VS: 2
Ins: 6, BS: 2, BV:0 VS: 0
until 8, then an error -2147417848 (=hexa 80010108)
the invoked object has disconnected from its clients.
I do not remember I placed such messages in my code, anyway I did not find "Ins" in my modules, except for the Instr function. So, maybe this is something Oracle coded ?
Does that recall anything to anybody ?
I could obtain that after repairing Ms-Office, before that I only obtained the message telling that "Excel has met a problem and must close, we are sorry about ..."
Then I saw that objects had a tendancy to disconnect, and I could resume the code after reconnecting them in the execution window.
I am going to report presumed net micro-cuts to the support, but this does not give me the meaning of the messages I read, nor tell me what I must do.

  • Highlighted button Disappearing at the end of loop?

    Hey guys,
    I have a simple menu with a few buttons and a short clip in a drop zone and a song in the background. All of this takes a minute to reach the end and once it reaches the end it loops but after the loop the highlight is gone and the buttons wont work ( on a DVD player).
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Alex

    The main problem is
    var fileList = inputFolder.getFiles();
    You are getting a list of all files and folders that exist in that folder, they could be text files etc.
    It is better to specify the file types IE:
    var fileList = inputFolder.getFiles(/\.(jpg|tif||psd|)$/i);
    As this will only get a list of files that are jpg, tif or psd

  • Never Ending Authorize loop

    I'm now running into the never ending authorization loop.
    I've found the KB Article and have followed all of the steps, but am still not able to get passed it.
    I am noticing however that there are some discrepancies, even when I attempt to login to this site.
    My Apple ID doesn't follow an e-mail address format [email protected] When I go to authorize however, by default, the system puts in the @xxx.com extension. I remove it and the system tells me that the computer is already authorized.
    I'm using Windows7 x64 with iTunes 9.0.2.25 and a 3rd Generation Nano.
    I've sent an e-mail in to Apple for guidance, but am looking for any other ideas.

    Here is some additional information that I find questionable / lead me to believe that this is a bug in the system.
    As I continue to look through the list of files that are "Not Authorized" I find that some of them are files, I didn't purchase through the iTunes store, but rather music that was imported via a CD from my collection.
    What's going on Apple?!?!

  • How to start AND end a loop using a Boolean Button set to "Switch When Released" operation

    I have a Boolean button set to "Switch When Released" operation. When I press this button (now it's in the On state) I want to run a loop that does something continupously (for now, let's say it displays a simulated sine wave) until I press the button again (now the button is in the Off state) in which case, I want to end the loop. I am wiring my button to the loop condition that's set to "Continue if true" and have a "Wait Until Next ms Multiple" of 200 ms (I tried up to 500 ms). When I run the VI and press the button the first time, I see the sine wave displayed. But when I press the button again, nothing happens. It looks like it does not respond to the user interface. What's happening. What am I doing wrong? I'm using an Event Handler design pattern. I've also tried the Producer/Consumer (Events) design pattern. But I don't imagine the particular design pattern should make a difference. I've attached my code. Thanx.

    A simple solution would be to harness the timeout event, where you would put your data simulation. No need for parallel loops and local variables.
    The event timeout is starts out as  -1 (infinite) but pressing the start/stop button toggles between a 200ms and an infinite timout whenever it is pressed. Since the evet structure always runs, all other events (e.g. stop) are also serviced.
    Please ask if anything is not clear... Good luck!

  • SOLUTION for the never ending reboot loop when charging

    I used my iPad until the battery was completely flat, then when I went to charge it, it got stuck in the never ending reboot loop where it shows the Apple logo for about 30 seconds, then shows the home screen for a split second before shutting down and repeating the whole process again and again.
    So here's what you need to do to fix this problem without having to restore or plug into iTunes.
    1. Plug in the charger
    2. When the Apple logo appears, unplug the charger
    3. As soon as you see the home screen appear, plug the charger back in. You need to do this quickly as the home screen only shows for a split second
    4. The loading wheel should appear and shut down the iPad
    5. Leave the iPad for a good 30mins or so just to get some battery life into before you start using it again.
    And that's it!

    Figured I'd start recording the errors I get in the Installer Log:

    Hi Anil..
    There are some corrections needed in ur Code..
    Check the modified code: Changes in BOLD
    SELECT DISTINCT M1VKBUR M1KUNNR M1VBELN M1BSTNK M1AUDAT M1KNUMV M2NETWR M2MWSBP M3ERDAT M3FKART
    INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ITAB
    FROM VBAK AS M1 INNER JOIN VBRP AS M2
    ON M1VBELN = M2AUBEL
    INNER JOIN VBRK AS M3 ON M2VBELN = M3VBELN
    WHERE M1~VKBUR IN VKBUR
    AND M3~ERDAT IN ERDAT
    AND M1~KUNNR IN KUNNR
    AND M3~FKART IN FKART .
    <b>SORT ITAB BY VBELN.</b>
    DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM ITAB COMPARING VBELN .
    <b>IF ITAB[] IS NOT INITIAL.</b>
    SELECT KAWRT KBETR INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ITAB2
    FROM KONV
    <b>FOR ALL ENTRIES IN ITAB</b>
    WHERE KNUMV = ITAB-KNUMV
    AND KSCHL IN ('SKTO' , 'INV1') .
    <b>ENDIF.</b>
    LOOP AT ITAB2 .
    ITAB-CD_AMT = ITAB2-KAWRT * ITAB2-KBETR / 10 .
    ITAB-AMT_DUE = ITAB-NETWR + ITAB-MWSBP - ITAB-CD_AMT .
    MODIFY ITAB INDEX SY-TABIX TRANSPORTING CD_AMT AMT_DUE .
    ENDLOOP .
    Now it works properly.. And with better performance.
    Note: Avoid using CORRESPONDING FIELDS option in the SELECT when the Internal table structure is same as the Fields selected.

  • How do I create an input box with a cancel button that will end a loop in my script?

    I have been working on a script for my client and I am having trouble getting it to work properly. I stole most of the code from the PowerShell Tip of the Week "Creating a Custom Input Box". I also took someone's code for the Show-MessageBox function.
    I have slightly modified the original code with two parameters and an additional text box. The first field is for an e-mail address and the second is for an employee number.
    I need to know how I can get a Do Until loop to recognize when the cancel button is pushed and break the loop and effectively end the script. The work happens at the end but perhaps I need something added/modified in the InputBox function.
    I want the script to check to see if anything has been entered in the second text box. If empty it displays a message and calls the InputBox function again. Then if there is something I use elseif to check to see if it matches my RegEx (digits only). If
    it doesn't match it will loop and call the InputBox function again.
    This all works fine. The problem I am having is that I cannot cancel out of the form. I'd like the loop to continue until the second box matches my RegEx or Cancel is clicked. Clicking cancel doesn't break the loop. I need to know how I can stop the loop
    when cancel is pressed. I've seen Stack "Overflow: PowerShell Cancel Button Stop Script" but I don't think this will work in a loop.
    Any help would be awesome. As a note, I DO NOT want to use the VB Interaction stuff.

  • Cycle / Loop Drops Notes when reaching end of loop

    Hi there!
    Very annoying situation seems that when I first create a song, put a cycle/loop on four bars (cycle range) it goes round and round fine, no drop outs.
    I picked up a song I did three days ago, changed nothing and it seems when it gets to end of 4th bar and goes back to first bar I get drops/pauses sending midi notes to my synth. As I have jam pack layeers in the song, if I mute the midi, I realise that the jam pack layers sound as they should do - it's just the midi that skips/drops.
    If I take off the cycle range and loop the layers then there are no drops. Any ideas would be much ly appreciate, this is rather pain!!
    Many thanks,
    Philippe

    I have had this happen sometimes. It depends on what "voice" your MIDI notes are playing. Some of them have things like reverb and echo on them that require the playhead to move beyond the region to output the sound. Sometimes you will only get the sound cut off too quickly.
    If you move the cycle region beyond the end of the segment you should be able to hear the notes.

  • Stopping the File Open At the End of Loop

    How can I make the script skip the "docRef = open(fileList[i])" at the end of the iteration once all the files are opened? Is there a way to get rid of
    this by perhaps getting the total number of files on a folder and assigned it as a variable 'max", such that if the variable "i" is eventually equal to
    "max," the the script will not execute the last action on the iteration?
    As of now, this loop (taken from Paul Riggott's response to my question before regarding folder processing) is generating the following error:
    Error 8000: Cannot open the file because the open options are incorrect
    Line: 20
    -> docRef=open(fileList[i]);
    Here is the script I am working on:
    var startDisplayDialogs = app.displayDialogs
    app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.NO
    // ask the user for the input and output folders
    var inputFolder = Folder.selectDialog("Select a folder to process")
    var outputFolder = Folder.selectDialog("Select a folder for the output files")
    if (inputFolder != null && outputFolder != null) {
    // get all the files found in this folder
    var fileList = inputFolder.getFiles()
    // open each one in turn
    for (var i = 0; i < fileList.length; i++) {
    // The fileList includes both folders and files so open only files
    if (fileList[i] instanceof File && fileList[i].hidden == false) {
    // get a reference to the new document
    var docRef = open(fileList[i]);

    The main problem is
    var fileList = inputFolder.getFiles();
    You are getting a list of all files and folders that exist in that folder, they could be text files etc.
    It is better to specify the file types IE:
    var fileList = inputFolder.getFiles(/\.(jpg|tif||psd|)$/i);
    As this will only get a list of files that are jpg, tif or psd

  • Pops and clicks at end of loop

    I have been using Logic happily for around a year and a half now, mainly recording bass and guitar loops. For the last couple of days I hear a click or a pop noise at the transition between the loops. This has never happened before. The noise also exists in the bounce played back in itunes. If i run the scroll bar to a different point I also hear a clicking noise where I play from. The only changes recently have been-installing ilife 08, and messing around with the bit rate to record a small mp3 file.
    Please help!

    That's gotta be the zero crossing stuff. Select all your audio that's clicking, and using the window in the upper left of the Arrange window (sometimes you have to open it with the little triangular arrow), add Fade in and Fade outs of about 2. If your audio loops meet you can also select all the audio regions that are clicking, except the last one in the song, and give them crossfades of about 3 or 4. Then add a fade out to the last region and a fade in to the first.
    These fade times aren't noticeable, they just eliminate the clicks.
    I know you haven't had this problem before, but this is standard operation for me, otherwise I'm guaranteed clicks and pops. The zero crossing thing that someone suggested is not something that I would use because with loops I usually need things to end exactly on the bar lines, and that setting automatically changes the start and end points to the nearest zero.. I would end up with overlaps and gaps between regions.
    Try this, if it works at least you know what's causing the problem. If you don't like this solution you can try to figure out why you didn't need to do this before. I think you've just been lucky in the past! I need to do this often enough that I put these fades on all my regions, easier & faster then sitting there and listening to everything for clicks, with no audible changes to the recording.

  • DVD menu glitch at end of loop

    I've just used iDVD '08 to create a project using the iDVD 6.0 theme “Reflection White”. The main menu loop runs a bit less than 30 seconds. In the iDVD app, the transition from the end of the loop to the beginning is seamless, both in the Motion mode, and in the Preview DVD Playback mode.
    But after burning an image file and using DVD Player to play it, the menu “hiccups” at the end of the loop. Just enough to be annoying, but I could probably live with it.
    So I burned a DVD. I have two DVD players, a LiteON LVW-5005 player/recorder, and an older Go-Video DVP-850 player. On the Go-Video the result mirrors what I saw playing from the image file with DVD Player on my iMac - a momentary hiccup at the main menu loop transition.
    However, the LiteON is another story. When I play the DVD on that machine, the menu animation complete freezes at the end of the menu loop. However, the menu selection still works, I can play the movies, and it is fine until it returns to the main menu and hits the end of the loop again. When it freezes, I can also hit the Menu button on the remote to restart the menu loop.
    I discovered a slight cosmetic problem in the menu (highlight for a menu selection), so while I was fixing that, I increased the loop time by a couple of seconds (the default loop time was 30 sec, and I had shorted it to about 24 sec to match the background music). When It finishes encoding the new version, I'll burn another DVD and see if it makes any difference.
    Anybody have any suggestions or comments?
    Thanks.

I can confirm this with TDK 2x but not with anything rated at a higher speed for this one brand.
    I've been a video hobbyist for for many years. In the past several of years, I've given away hundreds of DVDs containing performance videos to the entertainers at a nearby theme park I frequent. I've been getting my TDK printable DVR-Rs on 100-disc spindles at Costco (though recently, I think the Sony brand has replaced them on the shelves out there - don't know who makes those). I can't recall the last time I had a disc write failure, and I don't believe I've ever had anyone complain that the disc I gave them had problems (but I suppose it's possible they were just being polite ).
    In the last two years I've been burning most of my DVDs in my MacBook (late 2006), and on an external LaCie D2 Quadra attached to my trusty old iMac G4 800. A few months ago, I replaced that iMac with a new 24” iMac. The DVDs I'm referring to in this thread were burned on the new iMac's internal burner and the LaCie external (attached to the new iMac). So I haven't been trying to burn these DVDs on older Macs.
    I delivered 3 of the DVDs in question to a friend this evening (video of her sister's Quinceanera celebration), and described the specific problem I was seeing. I asked her to report back if the family had any trouble viewing them. So we'll see.
    As soon as I can, I'm also going to get some of the brands recommended in this thread and see if they make a difference.
    Thanks.

  • Type mismatch at end of loop on old workbook

    I have an old Excel workbook, it is so old it used to have Excel 5 dialog sheets. When this loop runs, an error is thrown at Next wks:
    Public Sub test()
    Dim wks As Excel.Worksheet
    For Each wks In ThisWorkbook.Sheets
    Debug.Print wks.Name
    Next wks
    Set wks = Nothing
    End Sub
    There are 59 Worksheets; the code errors after 57 sheets.
    How can i find the object(s) causing this error?

    Not all sheets in a workbook are necessarily Worksheets so try declaring wks As Object

  • DVDSP QT loop in menu drop zone button has glitch at end of loop

    I've tried reading all the other posts but none seem to exactly address my issue:
    I have a simple QT that loops in one of my menu buttons, and the end jump is set to start at chapter 1, but each time it gets to the end, there's a split second of a "glitch" where the entire menu "shutters" if you will... you can't see it in simulate-it only happens on the final burned DVD test. It's not a smooth loop! and it makes the other buttons on the menu twitch... any clues?

    Hi Yvonne - it is completely normal for there to be a pause or stutter of some kind as the menu loops, but it shouldn't be a jarring change. The reason it happens is because the laser playhead has to physically relocate itself back to the start of the material, refocus and begin playback again - it takes a little time, and different players do this more smoothly that others. The best thing to do if it is happening too frequently is to extend your footage for over a minute or two and hope that not too many people watch your menu for that long.
    You could also try fading out at the end before the loop, but to be honest I've never had much luck with that. The best approach is simply to minimise the number of times the loop takes place, by extending the menu time (and the footage that goes in it of course).

  • How do you start a loop with an event and end the loop when u release ....

    How do you start a loop with lets say an event of some sort, whether it be holding down a key or pressing the mouse click and then stopping the loop when you release that key or mouse button.?
    double c = 1.8, i = 1, max = 90, exp = 0;
    final double inc = 0.002; //speed at while it increases

        while (f == false && stopMeter == false) //increasing speed going up to 90
            exp = Math.pow (c, i);
            i += inc;

    } //end whilethis is a snippet of my increasing increments. Its for an angle meter. I can't get it to stop, when the user clicks or does something... the program just gets stuck in an infinite loop. I am still new to java and i do not know how to fix this.

  • I'm Still Looping - End the looping!!

    I wrote an earlier post, received a good suggestion, and
    found that it isn't working for me. I created a slideshow that has
    the following characteristics:
    1. An embedded .swf title graphic that appears on the first
    and last slide. I want it to play once than hold, but it just keeps
    looping.
    2. Each slide has text and a picture that fades in over 120
    frames. I'm using Timeline effects to fade-in the picture. I'd like
    the picture to fade in, then remain visible. What happens is that
    the pictures just keep looping.
    I've unchecked loop in Dreamweaver properties when I inserted
    the flash graphic. I've also tried to "uncheck" all the loop
    options.
    A kind responder suggested that I use action script to insert
    stop() in a keyframe at the end of the graphic's frames, but this
    isn't working - the Timeline effects don't play at all with this
    command insterted.
    Help.

    Post the FLV and it will be easier to answer. At the end of
    each movie clip you just need to add a keyframe and put in a
    stop();
    Make sure the stop is on a keyframe at the end of the of the
    movieclip, don't just click on the last frame and add the
    actionscript. It has to be keyframed or it will use that stop(); on
    every frevious frame.
    If that isn't working then something else is causing the
    error.
