Endless Recovery mode (Recovery loop) IOS 8.0.2

Hey, guys! Do you know how to exit from recovery loop without erasing all my data? I tried to update ios 8.0 to ios 8.0.2 and it failed. I don't have any backups on iCloud or on my PC. I've read many forums, a lot of people have that problem with 8.0.2 and they can solve that problem too.
Do you have any suggestions?

If your phone is in recovery mode, then there are no data on the phone.
If you don't have an icloud or iTunes backup, then your data is gone.  There is no place for you to restore your data back without a backup.

  • HT201210 recovery mode / restore loop - HELP!

    Hi,
My iphone settings advised me of an update this morning, I updated the iphone as prompted.
Now my iphone 4s is stuck in a recovery mode / restore loop and I am unable to go into DFU mode as the power button is not responding...
I have tried about 20 times today to restore my iphone but it stops after a few minutes saying the network timed out... I have tried this on 4 different computers and get the same message each time.
I need my phone for work so its really frustrating.
The 4th computer is not even recognising the iphone as a device.
    Any ideas?

Maybe you'd like to tell us what the error was, exactly?

  • Recovery mode on loop with iphone 4 on ios 7

Please help. I attempted to update to IOS 7 this morning. It went into the recovery mode after updating. As I didn't want to lose the data on the phone, I read many sites that suggested using TinyUmbrella. I've run TinyUmbrella's EXIT RECOVERY to no avail. It keeps looping back into restore mode  a second after the USB/iTunes window disappears and the Apple logo finally appears. On the left side of the TinyUmberellas window, my iPhone appears as ? a number. After running EXIT RECOVERY, a second number appears and another one for each time I run it.  Also, my sleep/lock button doesn't work and got stuck....but that happened 6 months ago and I've been using it without the sleep/lock button for the last 6 months. I would appreciate any help. Thank you so much.

my phone just started doing this. did you ever fix this?

  • Ipod Touch 5 stuck in recovery mode after trying IOS 7.1.1 Update

I was having fun with my Ipod as usual. I see a new update pop up. I plug the ipod to charge it but then minutes later the Itunes Logo and Cord appear and it's not good. I haven't backed it up lately due to Computer Problems and I have been taking lots of photos lately. I have tried youtube tutorials and they don't work. I don't want to lose all those precious photos. Somebody help me out here PLEASE PLEASE.

If one of these programs will not kick the iPod out of recovery mode you will have to restore the iPod.

  • Jail-broken iPhone 4S won't come out of recovery mode after attempted ios 7 update

So I've had my jail-broken iPhone for a while and decided to go for the ios 7. After deleting 200 songs, 400 pictures & videos, and countless apps and other useless data to get the necessary free space to upgrade, I was finally able to download it. It went into recovery mode (showed the iTunes logo and the USB cord) shortly afterward. I plugged in my iPhone to my laptop, iTunes came up, but as I tried to restore the phone to upgrade to the ios 7, an error appeared saying the "iPhone software update server could not be contacted or is temporary unavailable". I've tried a LOT of stuff, from simply restarting my laptop to trying DFU mode like 200 times, and it keeps saying the same thing. Now I'm basically phoneless because it won't come out of recovery mode.
Does this have anything to do with it being jailbroken and not backed up prior to attempting to upgrade? Please help!

Yes, it is directly related to j'breaking it.  And as such, you will get no further support from Apple and we cannot help you either.  Use an internet search to try to find a solution elsewhere.

  • Help! iPhone 4s in Recovery Mode after new IOS 7.1.1 update.

I went to update my iphone 4s earlier to IOS 7.1.1 and now it's in recovery mode. My issue with that is I keep trying to download the update on my computer so it can do the recovery and every time it gets to fully download (which bc I have a ****** internet company it takes hours to get there) I get an error message. IDK what else to do. Is there a way I can bypass the update and just run the recovery mode with the 7.1.0 update? I don't know what else to do. This is the first time I've had issues like this with this phone and I've had it over 3 years now.

Don't know if this will help but when I updated to 4.0.2 my phone gave me an error and bricked.
I made a new user on my computer, installed itunes and then was able to update my phone without it erroring. Once I had a working phone I went back to the old user and updated my phone with all of the information that was there before. I lost a few things but had a working phone.
Since then I have not had a problem with updating it in the old user. You might see if it will help with you all.

  • My ipad mini went in to recovery mode, when installing ios 8 HELP!!

I was trying to install ios 8 when my ipad mini went in to recovery mode. please help!!

    Hey Foxamy31,
Thanks for the question. It sounds like your iPhone is in recovery mode, meaning you’ll need to restore it with iTunes. If you previously synced/backed up with iTunes or iCloud, you might be able to restore from your backup:
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  • DFU and recovery mode, clean install ios 8 ?

Whats the difference between DFU mode and recovery mode ?
I want to do a clean install of the new ios 8.1.3 which the mode is the best ? I want to make it as a new one (someone else used it before)

If you already have 8.1.3 on your device, there is no way (and no need) to reinstall it. However, if you want the device cleared of all former user's info, then go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Settings. Then you can set your device up as new.
If you are having issues with the previous owner's iCloud account still being signed on and asking for a password, there is no way around that save having the previous owner remove the Activation Lock.

  • Iphone 4s stuck in recovery mode after downloading iOS 6

I installed iOS 6 on my PC(win 7) and connected my phone but when the download finished, it left my phone in the recovery mode or the screen with the USB and Itunes symbol. Ive tried almost 8 times to restore my phone but every time the same thing happens; it downloads the update but nothing changes on the phone. I've tried it on 3 computers and still no success, so my phone is just a paper weight as of right now. does anyone know things that could help? thanks

I was finally able to restore my phone and apply the backup, but my 4S is now basically an iTouch.  I have no cellular network service and Verizon can't get it restored.
And since I'm on an enterprise plan, I have to wait until next week to get anything done with the phone.
I thought I was safe updating my iPhone...
But as the old adage goes... "Just say no to version  .0"

What a joke Apple is. So many problems with restoring and updating phones. Definitely NOT users friendly anymore. A simple update to iOS7 causes MASSIVE mayhem and bricks 10's of thousands of phones WTG Apple. Hope Samsung smashes you out of the phone market. I will NEVER buy another Apple product again. You will NEVER see this on Android phones NEVER!!!

  • IPhone 5c won't restore, stuck between recovery mode & apple logo loop

    Hello all,
I got a lovely little iphone 5c secondhand. The only problem is that it will not cooperate with me.
At first, it was stuck in recovery mode, but I can switch it out of that, and into the apple logo loop or dfu.
No matter what I do though, (recovery mode, dfu, loop), it will NOT restore.
It gives me an error code of 3014 every time.
Once in awhile it also loads a screen of script, that ends in "panic, we're hanging here" or some such.
I HAVE seen it load to the lock screen twice now, but only for a split second. And while it did that, iTunes told me it couldn't connect to "Jessica's iPhone" due to the passcode. So I know something in there still works. Just not sure about what ISN'T working.
I'm REALLY hoping someone on here can help!
And sorry if I don't have all the info you need/posted in the wrong area. First time here.
    Thanks in advance!!
