Engineer no show several times WHATS GOING ON?
So i've reported my slow speeds 3 weeks ago, i get an engineer appointment he doesn't show, i ring the next day get another he doesn't show and now iv got another apointment due to the fact the customer service lady keeps fobbing me off with the same excuses and barely understands my problem.
WHATS GOIN ON BT
The price of the broadband package is far more than most other services where is my customer service? we've been customer for 25 yrs and now were getting tret like this. SORT THIS OUT now i've got to go another weekend with a connection thats barely usable... SORT IT.

iCloud on my phone still shows 'old email ID' and wants the password. I have reset the ID(new email address) several times, and my phone does not update. Help! What am I missing?
Did you go through the steps in my earlier post?
If the password for your old ID is not accepted when you try to sign out, and the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you'll have to temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password. -
I am trying to upgrade to Lion. I need to go through Mac App store to buy it. I need to get the Mac App store icon in my dock. I have run Update Software several times, trying to get the Mac App store onto my iMac, but with no luck. It doesn't show up in the dock, it doesn't show up in Finder under Applications, and it doesn't show up when I search in Searchlight for App Store, Store, Mac App Store, etc. What am I doing wrong?

You arne't necessarily doing anything wrong.
Install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
That should reinstall the App Store for you.
Restart your Mac after the combo is finished installing.
You should see the App Store icon in the Dock and be able to access from your Apple menu also.
Make sure your Mac meet's Lion's requirements -
Engineer no show - Is this what to expect from BT?
So I'm a disgruntled Virgin Media user and hoped (god hoped) that BT would be able to give me a stable connection. I'm not fussed about having the fastest speeds in the world 40/10 is more than enough (currently on 50Mbps cable).
So, virgin media cancelled and ordered BT Inifinity. Install date was today, and no one has showed up. I've taken the day off from work and its now been confirmed that BT are having "staffing issues" but not so bad they couldn't answer the phone after I request to know what is going on. So, would it be so hard for a company to contact all of the poeples installs who couldn't be done today so maybe they could make the most of their day off rather than sitting around waiting for no one to turn up.
I'm not interested in some pointless statement about how the product is provided by a different firm, how BT have to put orders into openreach etc...
Is there someone out there who can sort out my details to that you have my correct email address int the system and so that I can have my copy of the contract.
Unhappy.Dont expect a speedy result mate. I have been waiting for 6 weeks to get a competent engineer out to put right what the first one bodged!! Ive talked to 15 people, put in 3 official complaints and still getting nowhere! It seems that BT India cant actually talk to BT Openreach, even tho they are part of the same umbrella! It has to be done by email, and we all know how easy they get lost! Also we as customers are not allowed to talk to Openreach ourselves, so in a nutshell, dont get your hopes up for quick result! x

When I try to send multiple photo from my photo albums and hit share, the email box option doesn't show up. The only options are facebook, message, It was there last evening and I used it. Whats going on?
There is a limit on the number of photos that you can send in one email from the photos app, but I thought it was five. In any event, you know that you can send mutiple photos from the mail app itself and you can send more than 5.
When you are typing an email - Tap and hold down in the body of the message area and select "Insert Photo or Video" from the black pop up options bar. Select the photos that you want to include from the photos app window that appears. Then hit return on the keyboard and start the process all over again.
You can insert photos, type text, enter more photos .... any way that you would like to do it. -
this ipad worked with iTunes on this PC before but I ve installed new software (don't remember what) and changed password to Apple and iCloud
this ipad works fine with another PC. New iPads can connect to this PC but not the old one. What do i do? buy new PC?

I'd recommend uninstalling iTunes on your PC, restarting if recommended, then going to the Start button and typing Regedit and searching for anything which mentions iTunes and deleting any mention of it from your Registry as it sounds like something from a previous version of iTunes is still hanging around in your Registry, however be very careful not to delete anything else as this could result in serious issues for you computer.
Once done and all entries for iTunes are deleted from the Registry, check C:\program files or where iTunes was installed and delete the iTunes folder if still present.
Then go here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/ and download iTunes.

Same album showing several times
I recently downloaded new ipod 3.1 software and resynced the songs on my ipod touch.. however, since then, the Album category on ipod shows one album as many number of times as the songs in it.. and there's no inconsistency in the name of album, all have same characters... please help as i'm pretty meticulous about whats displayed on my ipod screen.
Its common. Tey going into the 'Get info' section when you right click the album. Then modify data tick each song seprately as part of a complilation and it usually works. A lot of effort but it works.

To update my Itunes to the 10.7 or later, it says I need to update my mac. When i go to update my mac, it says that there is not one available. How do I fix this?
What Mac OS X version do you have? You can go to > About this Mac and find the version. If you don't have Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later, you'll need to update to that and then your iTunes will update. http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1400 <=== that is the link to purchase the 10.6.8 update

And I assume that you and your iTunes account are based in the same country as that in which the card was issued ? I am trying to set up my work email on my new ipad3 and the exchange email is not working for me. What am I doing wrong?
Make sure your work it folks are ok with the pad. They can tell device type, and some companies simply don't want pads on their mail systems. ( yes, I know....)
There is also usually another password entering the flow, your exchange password, that may be different than your normal password. Give your friendly it guy a call. -

I have installed itunes 10.7 several times, all goes well. After reeboot, I go to check for updates and it still wants to update to version 10.7! I cant sync to my iphone4 because I get an error message saying I need version 10.6.3 or later. Help
Thank you for getting me started on the track by mentioning "Revo" Uninstaller. The results of "Revo" spoke volumns on why a successful install of ITunes is so difficult to achieve. It is the evil "BONJOUR".
I then tripped upon the following site by Apple and the detailed directions (I read, printed, re-read and followed the instructions. It was intense) brought a successful ITunes, Quick Time and the lovely Bonjour home. Thank you for the start JD42.
