I have a form for entering a start date and end date then click Open report button. The use wants to add a default option on this form to pull out data based on a condition (i.e., only class 1, 2, and 3 to be pulled out
by default). If uncheck the option, the report will show ALL data (i.e., all classes). How can I do that? I think I should change the user requirement so that when he or she clicks on the button, class 1, 2, or 3 to be pulled (by default). And I
will create an option button to pull out all students on that report. Can you please show me which way is better and how to do it? Thank you in advance.

Thanks, Karl for your idea. But currently the form has nothing except the Start Date and End Date parameters and a button "open report". Once click, it will open the report with ALL classes.
Now the user wants to add an option control on the form and by default it will pull out records that meet the condition of class =1, class = 2 and class =3. Then after the user enters the dates parameters, and click
on "open report" button, since it's default, the report shows only mentioned data.
If the user uncheck the box, and click on the "open report" button, all classes will show up. How can I deal with this one? Thank you

Reread the instructions. You cannot hide purchases on the iPad itself if you are running iOS 6 or higher. You have to hide the purchases in iTunes on your computer - not on the iPad.

I think you mean it's crashing or quitting unexpectedly.
Most likely due to third party Safari add ons. Follow the instructions for troubleshooting here > Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
If you can't resolve the issue, post a crash report so we can try and help you get Safari going again.
If Safari has just crashed, press the Report button on the CrashReporter dialog box to view the crash information.

With snow leopard, basic keyboard functions like double clicking on a desktop item now require me to hold control and then click on the track pad. I'm trying to recall, I seem to remember Leopard allowing you to double click items to open them?

"nearly full page" means that I used to be able to double click on a photo in iPhoto, and it would open up to a full image within iPhoto itself. Now, there is absolutely no option to enlarge a photo unless you go to slideshow - no option to double click or side click or Control+click or Command+click or anything at all. The small white arrow at the bottom right corner of every photo gives you options, but none are options that include enlarging a photo to see it bigger. And no, you cannot double click it at all to even open it up in any other app unless you click/drag onto desktop and then open in Photoshop, or equivalent app. Yes, checked TP preferences. No, it doesn't help.

When I use firefox and have several tabs open, I can only navigate between them by minimazing and maximazing FF in the taskbar and then clicking on the other tab. When I want to click on content on the website (say a link) I need to mini/maximize again.

If I want to switch to the other tab again, it only works if I do that again. It seems that I can either use the content of a website or use the functions of firefox, (like navigating between tabs, using favorites, typing in the address bar) but not at the same time. I always need to minimize and maximize the program by clicking on the task bar. This goes back and forth forever.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Lately, when i open a tab, it does not open on top of already open tabs. I am forced to minimize Firefox and then click on the tab in my bottom tray to open it? Why would that be?

This only started happening about 2 days ago. I will have tabs open, go to bookmarks and click on one. It seems that it is not opening but I then discovered that there is a tab at my desktop bottom tray that opened instead that I can click on to open the tab. However, it will not open unless I first minimize my bottom tray whole Firebox browser.

Question, regarding export. From the library module, when I select an image and then click on the Export button, or select file export, nothing happens. The program seems to lock up and the only way to continue in the software is to press the escape key.

(i) Create new user account and add to any group ( do not log on using this

I have a default set excel is still throwing error. Interestingly winword , powerpoint and publisher are working fine. I am able to print from all office applications except Excel.
Probably excel behaves differently from other office applications.
Probably it is a bug in excel
Workaround : Log on to a system once using newly created account then runas excel using this account then print works fine.

I ended up reformating the drive as FAT32 because I still need to use it on my Windows 98SE system also. I did have a problem with the allocation size. I wanted to use 512 bytes but it kept failing so I used the default size(8192 bytes) and then it worked fine. I didn't think there would be a problem formatting as NTFS but since you are having problems I just tried it. It failed at 512 bytes allocation size so I tried again using 4096 bytes, the default, as the allocation size and it failed again. It looks like these drives will not format as NTFS.
Also, I think I figured out what's going on with the ReadyBoost problem. As I said initially it wouldn't work with ReadyBoost then after I had 12GB of data on the drive the ReadyBoost feature started working. After I deleted all the files it quit working again. After doing some reading on the net about Flash drives and ReadyBoost problems it appears that the memory chips on my Lenovo Flash drive are mixed with both fast memory chips that work fine with ReadyBoost and slower memory chips that are too slow for ReadyBoost. Apparently, after I fill up the portion of memory with data that uses the slow chip(s) then ReadyBoost works fine with the fast chip(s). I also verified the Flash drives read and write memory speeds using Vista's Event Viewer. To work with ReadyBoost the Flash drive has to read at a minimum of 2.5MB/s (for 4KB random reads) and write at a minimum of 1.75MB/s (for 512KB random writes).
Let me know what you find out.
