Entire Dreamweaver-designed site not showing up in IE

Hey there, I'm a novice web designer building an html website. This is my 4th website I've built using these techniques and for some reason only the background is showing up on Internet Explorer and none of the content. The site works fine in Mozilla. Can't tell what I've done wrong here, can anybody help?

This is probably the bulk of it right here:

The checked page did not contain a document type ("DOCTYPE") declaration.      The Validator has tried to validate with a fallback DTD, but this is quite likely to be incorrect and will generate a large number of incorrect error messages. Hey there,
A file or some files may have become corrupt somehow during connecting or disconnecting the unit. Try putting it into Disk Mode and see if that helps. To put it into Disk Mode, hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears. When it does, immediately press and hold the Center an Play/Pause buttons until you see a confirmation that your iPod has been put into Disk Mode.
If you are able to do this, it may be a good idea to restore the iPod to its original settings. Keep in mind that by doing this you are erasing all the music and files from your iPod so make sure they are backed up on your computer somewhere. More on restoring your iPod can be found in the Apple document below.

Dreamweaver cs5 does not show part of the properties tools...

Hello Everyone,
Dreamweaver cs5 does not show part of the properties tools on the bottom of the page, i.e. on HTML : TITLE and TARGET and on CSS: BOLD, ITALIC and PARAGRAPHS sections.
I have DW CS5 and WIN 7 Home Premium 64 bit, I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but no luck, I tried to clean through regedit still no show.
I have onother computer installed same DW CS5 works OK.
Is there any folders keeping the old DW CS5 files or how can I uninstall all the traces complete DW CS5.

Make sure your settings are set to 96 dpi, for the font.
desktop right click
personalize
change to default 96 dpi
you will be good to go

Design view not showing true design

I'm using Dreamweaver CS3, and have an issue with design
view.
I was editing the content of a page in design view, applying
styles from my main.css, when the page I was working on suddenly
lost all its styles, including heading & paragraph styles, and
placement of most div tags.
My header and the div tags inside that are still visible, as
is the side navigation, although the background image for the side
navigation is not. It seems to be all my editable regions that have
decided not to show correctly.
I've checked other pages and templates based on the main.css,
and they all appear to have the same problem.
The good news:
1. The CSS Styles inspector on each page shows it is attached
to the main.css, but lists only three styles under that style
sheet, all of which are named 'td img'.
2. The main.css itself looks fine. All my styles are still
there.
3. When I preview my site in a browser, it looks as it
should, so presumably it IS still attached to the style sheet, it's
just not showing properly when I'm working on it.
Any clues as to what's going on?
As I'm sure everyone says, this is kind of urgent, so any
help anyone can offer will be very gratefully received!

EDIT: I've been playing around with previewing the site in a
browser again, and have encountered another issue, which may be
related. I can preview a preliminary page, but all my links take me
to a 'this page cannot be found' error message. I was pretty sure
it wasn't doing this when I first encountered the problem with
design view, but I could be mistaken. Has something happened to the
internal links on my site, perhaps?

In the View menu go to Style Rendering. Make sure Display
Styles is checked.

Newly imported site not showing

I've imported an existing website into Dreamweaver and am not seeing anything in my index.html. I see that more files and folders have been added to my local site folder, but am not sure where to go from here. The /htdocs folder from the remote site (which is where I was told by previous designer that everything lived) is not listed as a folder in my new local site. I did a "get" entire site, and thought, from the doc that the folder structure would be maintained. Any advice on next step?

I think the solution is a matter is simply not having your site definition set up properly. Here is a great short tutorial from Lynda.com that takes you through the steps. Have a look at it and see if you can find any clues.

SharePoint 2013 Blog Site not showing current navigation(Left Navigation)

I have created a blog site but blog pages are not showing my current navigation, it has got its own left navigation, Can i show left (current) navigation? I am trying to find the page layout being used for blog items but unable to find.

By design, there is a left navigation in the blog site. Like the following image show.
Please check whether there is CSS style in site to hide the left navigation.
If you don’t want to use the default navigation, we can also customize a new one.
We can use SharePoint designer 2013 to modify it(In /_catalogs/masterpage/seattle.master ).

Iweb site not showing up in firefox version 3.0

i recently published my iweb site to a folder and put it up on a hosting site, it used to be at .mac, but well...
anyway the photo album part of the pages is not showing up in the firefox at my work: 3.0
but it works fine in safari...
any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem. I just published a blog with photo pages, but the photos do not load using Firefox 3.0. They show just fine using Safari. I've not tried it yet with Explorer, but friends who have logged in have not complained about not seeing the photos, so I suspect the problem is specific to Firefox.
Anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

CS3 - Design View not showing externally linked images

In CS3 Design View, externally linked images are not showing
up... i am only getting the place holder.
To prempt some questions:
1/ Links are correct and complete - apart from the fact that
they show up when previewing in the browser(s) - i have
crosschecked
2/ There are no spaces in the url
3/ In the 'View' menu, 'Display External Files' is checked
I had this problem before and escargo suggested saving and
rebooting. It worked then but strangely, today, that file is again
showing some of the externally linked images but not all. And on a
new file, created today, none of the externally linked images are
showing up... :(
I'm sure there's a simple solution to the problem... anyone
have any idea what it could be?

Site not showing up right in internet explorer

I am new to dreamweaver and I loaded up my first test page
and it looks fine in firefox, but in internet explorer it is not

Design View Not Showing Up In Master On Plan View Page

Five days ago I downloaded a trial version of Muse and tried building Katies-cafe. Everything went OK except that the Design view is not showing up in the Master. Any Ideas? I disabled and re-enabled the thumbnail checkmarkin Plan view, and I also tried reseting the page properties in Design View, but it still doesn't work.

Parsys design bar not showing

Hello
I'm having a problem in my template, for some reason the parsys design bar is not showing for the last 3 parsys in my template, the first 3 parsys are showing but no the last 3.
In edit mode everything looks good, but of course I can't add any components because I have to configure that in design and I can't. In design, when I look at the source, there is the div reserved for the content rendered by the parsys.

AP on remote site not showing up on WLC (edit)

The AP at remote site A retrieve IP address from the FW.
From the WLC, i able to ping the IP address of the AP at remote site.
Only that on WLC, the AP at remote site not associated with the WLC.

Sites not showing up in cs6

I just downloaded cs6 (trial version) and my sites created in cs4 are not showing up.

That's normal and expected. You'll need to either export your sites from DWCS4 and then Import them into DWCS6, or create new site definitions from existing content in DWCS6.
To Export/Import...
In CS4 go to Site > Manage Sites > Export
Save
Open DWCS6 and go to Site > Manage Site > Import and browse to those export files.
To Create New Site Defs...
In DWCS6 go to Site > New Site and when it asks "Where on this computer would you like to stor your files" browse to your site's folder on your HD. You'll need to re-enter all of your FTP info if you go this route.
