EPCF not working the second time

Hi all,
we are developing using four iViews in the same screen: one left menu, one top menu, a footer and a main view in the central part.
We use launch a EPCM.raiseEvent by clicking in one link in the footer which causes a change in a field in the central iView by using a handlerFunction launched by a EPCM.subscribeEvent and it works properly. Then we click on a button in the central iView who changes the complete content of the iview by going to another JSP. It only changes the central part. Then by raising a different or the same event in the footer to change another field in the new central part (by using another EPCM.subscribeEvent sentence) don't work. We have detected that the second time we try to use the EPCF around the application it does not work. Only works the first time the first screen is loaded.
What could be the problem????

Keyboard not resigning the second time i pop a view controller

i am developing an app that involves 2 tableViewcontroller. when a cell is selected in a tableViewController the detail table view is shown. the detail table view has a cell with a textfield in it.The value entered in the textfield is send to a webservice and the response is alerted using alertView. When the ok button is pressed in the alert view the viewcontroller is poped from navigationcontroller. the keyboard is hidden using the code

this is working fine the first time i push the viewcontroller and pop it. The keyboard is hiding. but the second time i push the same view controller and then pop the viewcontroller the keyboard is not hiding... can anyone tell me where i have went wrong..?

I checked the code, we do not have any other manipulation on the view object, the only thing different in our case that I can think of is that this code is being called the 1st time from one page in the afterPhase method of a class that implements PagePhaseListener (on page load). I'm passing the page name to the View Object, and this invokation executes okay an returns the matching one record.
Then I navigate to another page (again in its page definition, its controller is using the same pagePhaseListener class), so when the code is executed the next time, I'm passing the new page name, but this invokation does not return any data, even though I'm sure the SQL and the page name parameter does return 1 row in SQLPlus.
Any thing special with executing the view object parameter binding when I navigate out and back to the page?

Mult accounts and since I upgrade to 15 fire fox. I can not use. my family We can not open accounts with : multifox 1.3.3 does not work the second person .

I have 2 lab tops.. and have family members that use them.. I used to have FB open with mult family members accounts. Ad of today you updated to firefox 15..
Now when I go to use multifox 1.3.3 ( that is so you can have mult accounts open. ) .. if trying to go into Fb none of the features work. now since I have upgrade. it use to work fine.
So, the new FF does not work would like to unistall and go back to the old FF.. where I, can have mult accounts open at the same time and have the funcation work when your on the mult account in FB... Like talk to some one in FB chat. or just look at other items in the accounts.
if you can tell me how to fix this or can you please give me the old link back.. or tell me how to get the old link back instead of 15.. Because 15 does not work.

Install or Reinstall OS X from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
      left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
      the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
      the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
           because it is three times faster than wireless.

iframe link to #anchor only works the second time

I am exploring a way of delivering a local HTML file into a Web Content frame in such a way that it starts at a specific HTML anchor rather than the top of the HTML page.
Now, since DPS's Web Content overlay does not support the URL+anchor string format (e.g. myfile.html#myanchor), I thought I might achieve the desired result by loading a little HTML file into the Web Content overlay that points to the intended HTML file and its named anchor in an <iframe> tag.
Here's where it gets annoying. The solution works... but only on the second and subsequent times you call up the Web Content overlay (normally hidden in a MSO).
The first time I call up the Web Content overlay in my DPS article on the iPad, however, the HTML page displays but not at the specificed anchor point, nor indeed at the top of the HTML page - instead, it seems to start a little bit further down from the anchor. If I dismiss the Web Content overlay (in my case, switch to a different Object State) and return to it, the HTML reloads starting at anchor position, exactly as intended. I can close the folio, re-open it and still the behaviour is correct. It was only the first time that it fails to do the right thing.
I am very happy that my solution works on the second, third and all subsequent occasions, but it's pretty important that readers see it working first time.
I have tried delaying the autoplay of the Web Content but this does not make any difference. The anchor is designated using the 'id' tag.
Any ideas?

Thanks, Neil. But you can ask your guys to stand down. Someone got me a strong coffee this evening and I realised I was tackling this from the wrong angle. I have since seen this issue of HTML pages requiring a refresh before displaying correctly in other circumstances, even in Chrome on my computer, so I doubt it is a specific DPS problem - possibly it's something in webkit.
Anyway, the coffee made me realise that I don't need an iframe to load another HTML file at an anchor. All I need is to pop a little GoToAnchor script in the <head> tag and a call at the beginning of the <body> tag.
One day, if someone fixes Adobe's utterly broken Cookbooks site, I'll upload a bunch of these recipes.

BUG? Streaming an mp3-file does not work a second time with iPhone 4

Hi,
I was trying to stream a mp3-file from a server and listen to it on my iPhone. At the first time it worked all right, but when I wanted to listen a second time I got the error message "The server is not configured correctly.", after quicktime started, and nothing happened.
I tried to reset the iPhone and again got the error message.

There are 3 things you can try.
Hard reset -Hold home and power button until apple logo is displayed -Release let device reboot -test it out.
If issue persists -go to Settings>gerneral>reset>reset all settings -test.
Issue persisting still??
Last but not least restore and setup as new, this will erase EVERYTHING make sure contacts/calendars are in the iCloud or synced in windows Contacts/Addressbook/outlook, or Addressbook on a mac, and Calendars in Outlook, or iCal
make sure to transfer your purchases, in iTunes windows or mac - File at top left - Transfer purchases.
Transfer photos via iPhoto, windows scanner camera wizard, or Windows Photo Gallery

ValueChangeListener not following the second time

Hello. I have an ADF page with a selectOneChoice box. If I use the drop down the first time the valueChangeListener fires correctly. When I select the previous value, it does not fire but the choice box is changed. Oddly enough, I can select it again it will work. Why doesn't it fire every-time? Here is the code:

I agree with you it's an odd implementation, it doesn't make sense from the developers' point of view. However it's not an ADF Faces RC problem, but rather that's what's specified in the JSF specification, that's how it's meant to work. Oracle's is just complying with the JSF specification; a lodged SR/TAR will result in no change.
As for a work around, it depends what you're attempting to achieve. From your valueChangeListener code, I can't make out what you're attempting to do. If you can explain what you're attempting to achieve maybe the forum can advise you on a different course of action.

Hello, I've got a question about my Iphone 3gs. Well one day i woke up and i tried to slide to unlock my phone but the touch was unresponsive. So, i turned off my phone and back on, the unlock screen came back one and same problem happened. The only time the touch works is when I slide to turn off my phone. When people call me, i can't answer. When people text me, I can't answer. I do have the latest update for the phone. I've looked everywhere on the internet and have got no answers. I have dropped my phone a couple of times and it does have some cracks on the screen. Please help!

Itunes 10.6.1.7 I have 2 sets of playlists the first set displays greyed out lists and does not work The second set is fine. How do I get rid of the non working set of playlists?

I have 2 sets of playlists in the sidebar of itunes. I have recently upgraded to 10.6.1.7 but this condition remains the same

I think the greyed out playlists must be listed from your device which is set up to mirror your library. Because the device is synced you can't edit content directly on the device. From the top of the left-hand column do you have?
Library > Music, Movies...
Store > iTunes Store, iTunes Match...
Devices > <Your Device> > Music, Movies, and all the other "dummy" lists...
Genius > Genius, Genius Mixes...
Playlists > iTunes DJ, and then all your playlist folders and playlists...
If so then that is perfectly normal when your device is connected, either directly or over wi-fi and you have the lists expanded. Simply click the small triangle to the left of the device name to hide all the playlists.

Please post the dll. I cannot run your code without it.
Also, the problem may be that you cannot call this twice, without first 'closing' the device. You may be trying to use resources that are already in use. This would be the same as opening a daq session that is already in use.
Try that, and if you can't get it working still, post the code or some more information.

Adobe form translation changes do not work for second time

Hi Team,
i am translating adobe form from EN to TR and it was successful for first time and all the changes were working correctly then again i have translated all the texts and checked however then it was only translating fields which were translated in first try.
I am really confused and please help me here i am not really sure what exactly to do .

There is nothing to delete. Here is what you should do:
Following procedure applies to both symptoms:
1. Open the corresponding form in the original language in change mode in Form Builder
2. Choose the Layout tab of Form Builder to open the form layout in Adobe Designer.
3. Identify and select the concerned text element in the layout so that it will be highlighted in the hierarchy tree of the Adobe Designer
4. Go to the XML Source tab of the Adobe Designer
              The XML source shows the section of the selected form element.
     5. Go to the appropriate <exData/> element and delete the occurrence of attributes
     xft-xliff:id or xliff:rid
6. Leave the XML source tab and save the changes.
7. Activate the form.

Click box not functioning properly the second time it's clicked

I have put a click box on a slide and picked the following
properties:
ON success open a url or file
Infinite attempts
display for rest of slide
show hand cursor over "hit" area
stop slide audio when clicked
The slide itself is set up to progress when a button is
selected labeled next
There are other slides in the project that have the exact
same click box and they function in the published project fine. In
fact, I deleted the one that does not work and copied and pasted
one from another slide. Is there some hidden function on the slide?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "doesn't work the
second time"?
Are you expecting it to launch a URL and it's not? Stop slide
audio and it's not?
Typically, most "open a URL" issues have to do with not
unchecking the "Continue playing project" option in the Click Box
properties. The button only pauses until the user clicks, then
continues playing on the timeline.
If you want the slide to pause indefinitely, you need to
click the down arrow button to the right of the URL field and
deselect "Continue playing project".

For the second time (I've been to the Genius Bar once already) my WiFi isn't working on my iPhone 4S. This is really infuriating and costly!!! I see others have the same issues. Can't Apple do anything about this? It's obviously a hardware problem!

For what reason, other than making yourself look foolish, would you ask questions that we users could not possibly answer as we're NOT Apple?
Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as NEW. Nothing more "ingenius" to suggest than these steps that Apple has outlined in the manual. If these steps don't work, then go back to the Apple store.
