EPrint jobs pending not printing, with no obvious issues or errors

Hi,
I have an HP Deskjet 3050A and recently set up an eprint account with HP. It worked great initially but now when I email a print job to my printer it doesn't print. There are no error messages on the printer itself. Both the wireless light and settings and eprint light and settings are solid and say that they are working and connected with an IP address. From my HP website it say that the printer is currently connected and online. However all jobs that I have submitted today are listed as pending rather than printed. What is the problem if everything is connected and ready to go?

It may be best to wait before continuing with trouble shooting.  The servers are going through some updates right now, and which may be causing some delays.  Give it 1-2 more hours at the least and 24 hours at most, before trying again.  If the issue continues after a 24 hour period, let me know and we will continue form there.

    Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.
    What's the rest of that error message? Posting what you did is similar to posting as an error message the text "I'm having trouble with ..." with nothing following.
    I'd try several things until things work:
    1) Open the Print & Fax panel of System Preferences. Right-click on a printer entry and choose "Reset printing system".
    2) Delete the entry for your printer, then add it back.
    3) Check the Epson Web site for a recent driver for your printer. Download it, then first run it in "uninstall" move, then in "install" mode.
    I'll be personally interested in what you learn. I have a relative who has an RX620 and 10.6.4, but I'm not sure he's tried to print anything yet.

  • Print jobs will not print

    I have an 8620 that is enabled for web services.  The printer is listed on the HP Connected site.  I emailed a document to the email address on the printer and it is sitting in a status of "Sending to printer".  I also enabled the printer for Google Cloud Print and I have 2 jobs there claiming to be "In Progress".

    Are the print jobs still pending?  If yes, please try the steps in The HP ePrint Print Job Did Not Print document.  If the print jobs are still stuck after attempting the steps in the ePrint trouble shooting document, please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region.   • Can not Print with HP LaserJet 5000 and Epson AcuLaser C9100

    I am using MacBook Pro 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 with Mac OS X (10.6.6)
    I already install the latest print driver from the Apple Software Update website.
    The driver for HP is Ver. 17.5 & for Epson is Ver. 5.2
    I connect two of the printer to my Belkin Surf N300 wireless N Router with ethernet cable.
    The error when print to HP LaserJet 5000 is as follow:-
    Unable to get printer status (Not Implemented)!
    Network host 'x.x.x.x' is busy; will retry in 30 seconds...
    This error can stay forever if I do not delete the print job
    The error when print to Epson AcuLaser C9100 is as follow:-
    Printer not responding
    This error can stay forever if I do not delete the print job
    Previously I can print with my emac with OS X 10.4.10, but now I can not print with 2 of my printer.
    My 2 printer are in good condition, so this is not the printer problem.
    Please, do anyone know how to fix this problem fast, because I need to use this two printer for my business.

    That is not what Greg needs to know. That is just the way that the IP addresses are assigned to the printers.
    Your problem is probably that the printers were probably originally found by AppleTalk. AppleTalk is not included in Snow Leopard. If the printers support Bonjour, they should be found that way. Otherwise, you have to use other methods.
    How did you add your printers on the new computer? If you delete them from Print & Fax, how would you add them again?

    I have an HP LaserJet 5P and had the same problem. My LaserJet is connected to a D-Link ethernet print server, then to an Airport Express to support wireless printing.
    As recommended in earlier posts, I first downloaded the Gutenprint HP drivers at Sourceforge, version 5.2.9 That did not work. Then found the reference to the Apple kb here: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl907
    Downloaded these drivers. When setting up the printer, I got the autoselect option for Generic Postscript Printer and used that. Printer worked, but printed out garbage. I then deleted the printer, and this time selected the HP LaserJet 5P CUPS + Gutenprint v.5.2.9 THAT WORKED! I don't know if was the combination of downloading the drivers from Sourceforge and the Apple kb, or just the Apple kb that solved the problem, but I'm glad this is now sorted.
    I was a bit surprised when I hit this snag to begin with because the last upgrade I did from Lion to Mountain Lion, I did not have this issue. It was seamless.

  • Elements 11 will not print with Epson R2000?

    Cannot make Elements 11 work with new Epson r2000 printer.  Prompt on screen states it is not compatible or settings are not correct.  Epson tech support worked on it, said to contact without success, said to contact Adobe.  Printer works fine on all other applications.  Help please.

    Barbara Brundage in the Photoshop Elements Forum will probably have the answer to your Photoshop Elements Epson scanner issue. Look into that Twain driver. She will give you good input on all this.

  • Lightroom 2.5 not printing with main account user but prints with a new use

    I have been troubleshooting all day. My new epson r280 is not printing with LR2.5 though it prints in other applications fine. Called epson and we are sure that I have the latest drivers, etc. Called Adobe and they had me create a new user in accounts in system preferences-accounts. When I tried printing from the "test user" LR printed with my epson printer. Adobe said the problem was with my system permissions and I had to reset my system permissions. This doesn't sound right to me. I ran disk utility and repaired my permissions but LR still doesn't print using my original user. Genius Book suggests going to Library-Preferences and to delete the plist. Does this sound right? And do I delete the p-list for LR or for the epson printer? What happens when you delete a p-list? Will I lose my catalog in LR? I would appreciate any help on this problem.

    I have updated my Adobe to Adobe Reader 11 and in my application has used pdfp.exe for printing pdf files. But after updation I haven't print pdf files.
    It was possible to print while Adobe reader 10 and below version with pdfp.exe batchfile .Please help

    "Preview is not supported" is the error message I get when the Print Dialog box is open and I select "Preview" from it. I thought it might be important to mention that.
    This may be too much information: When I select the print icon from the PDF file, the file does not print, nor do I get an error message. When I choose File > Print in Safari, and then select Print from the open window, a Safari error message pops up that says "The document could not be printed."
    My ignorance is revealed: I do not know how to drag and drop the file directly on the printer's window...

  • Officejet Pro 8500A is not printing with Yellow cartridge. Full cartridge and good health ...

    I have an OfficeJet Pro 8500 which is not printing with the Yellow cartridge.  Printing with the Cyan, Magenta, and Black cartridges is fine.  Diagnostics show all cartridges properly installed and having adequate ink supplies.I replaced the Yellow cartridge with a brand new XL cart, but to no avail.  I cleaned the orifice with Isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab, thinking perhaps there was some dried ink or an impurity there.  The problem still exists.There are no error messages, either via software or at the printer itself.  The printer is out of warranty (imagine that!).I have used HP products for well over 15 years, partly because HP support has been historically excellent.  After reading some of the posts on these forums, it seems that HP has allowed their support quality to diminish - significantly.  I hope that is not the case in real life.Any ideas out there?

    I am having same problem. OfficeJet Pro 8500A Premium.  Not printing with Yellow. First replaced Yellow cartridge with new, then spoke with HP Support yesterday and was told that the Black and Yellow Printhead must need to be replaced, at a cost of $49.  New Printhead arrived today, inserted and still having same issue with YELLOW! So, for the cost of a new Multi-Pack of print cartridges (which had the Yellow I used to replace the low ink), and the new Printhead, I could have purchased a NEW CANNON PRINTER.  I have used HP Products for over 20 years - both professionally (HP Plotters) and at home (always HP Printers, Scanners, Multi-devices, etc.  I am VERY frustrated!

    Computer crashed yesterday and now I am getting "File is not compatible with this version of Photoshop" error and unable to opening in PS CS5 or Fireworks CS5. Any ideas? Also tried the PS repair download and would rather not pay $30 to find out it can't do it. Seems like a common error but in all of the forums I haven't found a solid answer.     This is the free app that all the PSD repair hacks are based on: Telegraphics - Free plugins for Photoshop & Illustrator...and other software
    There are 3 possible reasons for that error: file corruption on disk, more than 8000 layers in the file, or a layer somehow went over 30,000 pixels in a PSD file (which would be legal in PSB, but not in PSD).

  • Eprint shows pending jobs - will not print

    Suddenly my apps stopped printing - eprint shows pending jobs - event log reports 72236. No changes were made on my settings in months. All local and wireless printing from PC works - printer thinks its connected to the internet. 

    They are currently doing some updates on the server which may affect printing apps. You might try to power cycle the router and printer if you haven't done this already.

  • Eprint application does not print multiple copies

    I'm printing use HP-ePrint-win7_win8_x64-4.7.68.13782 and I can easily print my PDF through adobe reader as booklet as 1 copie but I can't print it with any value higher then 1 copy' it will stay on something like "in Afwachting" like 'preparing' in english. It will never continue and print my print job; what is the fault here and how can I get clear why my multiple copy job is not executed? I did try the copys option in windows print and at the ePrint application both do not work.
    I'm also wondering why the limit in eprint application is at max 99 copies?

    Hi @Jeroen-Kleen  welcome to the HP Forums. I understand you are unable to specify more than 1 copy of an ePrint using the Windows ePrint driver.
    I am not sure why there is a copy limit of 99, probably to prevent extreme over printing when sending a print job to a location the user is theoretically not there.
    I do not know the real answer however.
    Have you had the same issue with printing other file types?
    Might be useful to contact HP Cloud Services directly and ask about ePrint server status.
