I need to write a processing function.
Let me briefly describe the processing steps I need to do.
PARAMETERS : sum_kdv TYPE i,    "total value-added tax.
                           sum_tut TYPE i.      "total amount
We will turn to process these parameters.
Process ;
x    +    y           = sum_tut.
0,01x + 0,08y   = sum_kdv.
To find the values of x and y will do mathematical operations.
    -0,01( x + y ) = -0,01(sum_tut) .
     0,01x + 0,08y   = sum_kdv.
+------------------------------------------
We will find the value of x i y destroying.
How can we do this.

I am working on a Windows Phone program that calculates taxes due. One of the calculations is a formula/equation with an unknown 'x'. I have searched a lot on solving equations with vb but this really exceeds my - admittedly small - math knob. Perhaps you
can help me out.
The equation to solve is (for example):
((25000 + x) * 0.06) + x = 16500
The only unknown variable is x. Does someone know the proper code to solve this equation?

Are you looking to code some super-intelligent maths equation solver that can solve any type of equation (if so - good luck!)? Or are the equations you want to solve all of the same type?
The example you gave is of the form (A + x) * B + x = C. You can rearrange that to (1 + B) * x + A * B = C and from there to x = (C - A * B) / (1 + B).
If all your equations are in that form, you just need to identify the value of A, B and C and use the last formula I gave to calculate x.
I wasn't going to do that for him.
Let's see here, he's building a program for tax calculation and he can't do 8th grade algebra??
Still lost in code, just at a little higher level.

Encrypt/decrypt same file with two different passwords

Hi everyone:
I'm quite new to Java and cryptography in general and have a theoretical question. Is the following scenario possible and how would it be implemented:
Two users with two passwords (say, a regular user and a superuser) encrypt, decrypt, read from and write to the same file. The secret key for encryption and decryption should be based on their passwords (generated from their passwords), i.e. not stored anywhere on the system.
I've been racking my brains but can't think of a way. Am I missing an obvious solution?
Can it be done?

I don't think you can avoid having more than just a password hash stored on the system. Using a combination of my approach and Jeff's approach I can implement this as long as you allow a password protected key store to be stored on each system. A given user's key store would contain his RSA private key and associated public key together with the admin user's RSA certificate (thought the admin user's public key could be stored in the program since it does not have to be kept private). The admin user's key store would contain only his RSA private and public keys.
Assume that the data file is to be create by a standard non-admin user. His code performs the following actions -
1) Generates a random symmetric algorithm key. Say a 128 bit AES key.
2) He write a digest of this to the output file.
3) He writes the random key encrypted with his public key to the file.
4) He writes his public key (or certificate) to the file.
5) He writes the random key encrypted with the admin users public key to the file.
6) He encrypts the data using the random key writes the result to the file.
This user can then update the file by
1) reading from the file the digest of the random key.
2) reading the random key encrypted with his public key.
3) Decrypting this encrypted random key using his private key extracted from his keystore.
4) Check the digest of this key to make sure he has the correct random key.
5) skipping his certificate and the random key encrypted using the admin user's public key.
5) Decrypting the data using the random key.
6) Update the data.
7) Re-encrypt the file as described in the first part using a new random key.
The admin user can
1) read from the file the digest of the random key.
2) skip the random key encrypted using the user's public key.
3) reading the user's public key from the file (for use later if the file needs to be updated).
4) read the random key encrypted using the admin's public key.
5) decrypting the random key using the admin's private key obtained from his key store.
6) check the digest of the random key to make sure it is correct.
7) decrypt the the data.
The admin can edit the data since he can re-encrypt the data in a similar manner to the way it was created in the first place.

When I my send email, its delivered with an unknown sender

Problem with my email. I got this email msg.
"Mike,
You sent your email with an unknown sender, so I was unable to reply to your email."

• I have 3 email addresses. Two of them are thru my internet provider. When I send thru that provider, the email is sent correctly, my email address shows as it should.
• When I send from my 3rd email address, which is provided thru my web site servicer, which is Go Daddy, my email address doesn't show! I'll be calling Go Daddy!
I just yesterday found out that their was a problem with my email. I couldn't figure out why this one guy told me my email address wasn't showing. I spoke with another person this morning in her office, who told me the same thing - but was able to show me the email I sent her.
I came home, my email all looked correct. Thats when I went to the Communities.
I've got it figured out now. Thanks so much for trying to help.

Solving nonlinear equation with VI

Hi,
I want to use LabView to solve a nonlinear equation. I read forums and figured out that I can use Nonlinear System Solver. vi and I noticed there are two options to write the equation: 1) F(X) is formula and 2) F(X) is VI. I could use the first option and write the equation with that but I did not understand how to use a sub-Vi to provide the equation. Would any one please tell me how to do that?

Read the detailed help for the solver VI.
The VI usually executes much faster than the formula parser/evaluator. Since solvers (and curve fitters, which have the same options) may need to evaluate the function many times while solving, that time can become significant.
In the help is a link to a template for the VI you need. You must use the exact connector pane and reference type. While you can create your own VI, it is much easier to use the template. On the block diagram create the code to generate your equation values in the configuration required by the solver. Be careful to put the parameters in the correcto order.

Oracle service with two instances

I have for some reason (maybe related to my experimenting with rman?) found myself with two instances running from the same service. I cannot conect now, as I get the ORA- 12560 TNS protocol adapter error.
I checked lsnrctl and see this:

IS this a reason why I am getting the error?
I am 9.2. I have checked tnsnames.ora, I have stopped and restarted services.

Dan, the first list of the listener status is fine.
Does the target db have a password file configured? If not, you cannot connect as using sysdba remotely.
The first connect is just a normal connection as user system who normally has the DBA role and is different from signing on like sqlplus "system as sysdba"

And I have no idea what they are.
What can I find the appropriate drivers to load those 2 unkown devices?

How to enter invoice with two different tax codes in one line?

Dear friends,
I have this PO for which I enter the invoice.
I recieve later a subsequent debit for this PO from the transporter. This subsequent invoice has got extra debits, one with 21% VAT and one with 19% VAT, which means two items with two different tax codes.
I want to enter this subsequent debit for each item of the PO, and I want to enter both debits in every item of the PO.
How can I enter in one row in MIRO a debit with two different tax codes.

i have a serious (and bizarre!) issue with my novation impulse (Although i've tried it with two other keyboards and i still have the same problem) and its compatibility with mainstage 3.

(Clearly i'm not alone in this problem, although i think i figured out what's going wrong a little more than he did...read on!)
his solution, to put mainstage in jump mode, is very unsatisfactory to me, as it bounces all of a sudden to drastically different settings.
basically, my analysis is that my controller is NOT receiving MIDI date from mainstage. in other words, mainstage knows what my controller is doing, but my controller doens't know what mainstage is doing.
let's say i turn the knob all the way to the right ... 127...and the virtual fader goes to the right like it's supposed to.
now...next...let's say i change to a different patch, where that same VIRTUAL fader is not at the max clockwise position..maybe it's only at 1pm. now when i turn the physical knob to the RIGHT, the midi data is still at 127 on the controller! it didn't "reset" to sync up with the new level (say 80 or so) setting on the new patch. so i can't increase that new setting of 80 by continuing to turn the knob to the right. i have to turn it all the way to zero,...and then continue PAST zero until the controller thinks that IT is at 0...at that point the controller and mainstage are in agreement, and things work fine....so bascially, the keyboard thinks the level is at max...but mainstage thinks the level is at 1pm.
i am using Logic 9, and i have a macbook pro 2.9 Ghz I7 with 8 gigs of memory and OS X 10.8.4

WinXP with two users - can we have two separate iTunes, one for each user?

Question: On my Dell WinXPPro SP3 desktop with two users (myself and my wife), can each user have a separate iTunes - so what each of us does with iTunes has no effect on the other?
Details: Yesterday, June 29 2012, I bought a new iPad 3 with WiFi only, my first Apple product. My #1 motive for buying it is to copy movie files (avi, m4v, mp4, etc.) from my WinXP setup (PC plus hard drive) to my new iPad to watch the movies in bed on the new iPad. I understand that I shall need to install iTunes on both the iPad and the PC in order to move or copy the existing movies from the PC side to the iPad. (I also understand that I won't be able to use iCloud because iCloud will not run on WinXP, only Vista and Win7.) [By the way, if iTunes will NOT help me do what I want to do, please let me know. But that is not my question.]
I am only one of two users on the PC. My wife is the second user on the PC. She already installed iTunes on the PC for her own use. She is an avid iTunes user. Most of the time, she does not use this PC. She has her own WinXPPro SP3 Dell laptop, which is what she uses 99% of the time. She has also had an iPod for some time, hence her use of iTunes. And now, for the last two weeks, she also has a new iPhone 4S and her own iPad. So her use of iTunes will grow. The important point is the following - whatever I do on my side, I do not want to interfere with or disrupt her use of iTunes. Not even for a second.
So, can I install or re-install or somehow set up iTunes on MY user on the PC so that it does not in any way use or affect her iTunes? If the answer is "yes", please give me a step-by-step and list all details. Is there a YouTube that shows this specifically?
More details: Right now, in C:\Program Files, before I have tried to install anything myself, there are already folders for Apple Software Update, iPod and iTunes, which derive from my wife's installations of these Apple programs some time ago. I have just now run the Apple Software Updater, which first updated itself on this PC to version 2.1.3.127 and then updated her iTunes on this PC to version 10.6.3.25. (As a result, the following processes/services are now running, which normally don't run when I am the user:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\AppleMobileDeviceService.exe
C:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exe
C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe
Also, the following processes will launch the next time I reboot this PC (which normally don't launch when I am the user):
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\APSDaemon.exe
C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe )
My wife says her iTunes is NOT set for Family Share. (That sounds correct to me, for now and forever.)
Summary: So, how do I install iTunes for myself (for the first time) for my user on this PC so it does not - even for a second - interfere or affect my wife's use of her iTunes on all of her devices?

When I said I had not "installed" iTunes on my iPad, I suppose I meant I have not yet signed in to iTunes, ever. I suppose when I sign in to iTunes the first time on my new iPad, I will be required to create a new iTunes account? Then refer to such new iTunes account when I launch iTunes for the first time on my PC as myself? Or will I still need to use Method Three in your link?
The crucial thing is this - when I turn on iTunes on the PC for the first time with me as User, I do NOT want it to connect to my wife's iTunes account. On my PC, I would want iTunes to ask me who I am, so I can then sign in with my new iTunes account that I had just created on my iPad. How can I be sure to accomplish this goal?
In my PC, if I look at Documents and Settings and compare the two folders for we two different users, one for me and one for my wife, I can see that my wife's has Application Data and Local Settings for her various Apple programs. However, so do I in my User even though I have not yet installed any Apple programs on my side. I am concerned that when I finall launch iTunes when I am user, it will open up in my wife's iTunes account, which I truly want to avoid.

If ONLY one of the two Commands returns no data, the full report is empty (although the other Command returns data).
I'm using Crystal Report 2008 and the CRJ 12.2.205

It's important to note that no matter how you get equations into iBA, all equations are represented as MathML in the published iBook. (except, obviously I hope, equations that are simply images that you insert)
