Error 49 when instantiating InitalContextDirectory

I wrote some code that uses JNDI & LDAP to access Novel
Directory Service (NDS) to obtain authentication. This
has been working fine for many months. Our shop is in the
process of moving from NDS to Active Diretory Service (ADS). As
a result I've change the PROVIDER_URL used to instantiate the
InitialContextDirectory to point to ADS rather than NDS.
When instantiating the InitialContextDirectory I get the
following error:
:javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error code 49 -
80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C09030B, comment: AcceptSecurityContext
error, data 525, v893 ]
Can anyone give me an idea what the problem is or how I can
resolve it?

I had the same error, while implementing a new client webservice.
The Error ERROR_WEBSERVICE_RUNTIME_INIT was in my case solved by:
1. regenerating the CL_SOAP_APPLICATION_CLIENT class.
and
2. deleting the LPCONFIG setting and creating a new one.

I am using coldfusion MX7 and OS is WindowXP. I am using COM
object with Excel.Application for my program. but it is giving the
below error. But same program is working in Window Profesional.
ERROR IS:
An exception occurred when instantiating a Com object.
The cause of this exception was that: AutomationException:
0x80080005 - Server execution failed. Note that Windows 95 does not
support automatic launch of a server, it must be running already.

Error when instantiating MimeMessage

My code reads:
Properties props = System.getProperties();
Session session = Session.getDefaultInstance(props);
try{
MimeMessage message = new MimeMessage(session, null);
catch(MessagingException ex){

It compiles fine, and it used to work until not many days ago. However, I have now reinstalled Windows and installed J2EE 1.4 beta. When running now the application, I get the following error refered to the line in which the MimeMessage is instantiated:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/mail/util/SharedByteArrayInputStream
Does anyone know what the cause could be?

I don't really know how, but I managed to solve it.
I had just installed J2EE 1.4 beta2. I uninstalled it and went back to J2EE 1.4 beta, and everything works just fine again.
A J2EE 1.4 beta2 bug...?

AcroForm.api throws an error when instantiated in VB6

When I try to create a new instance of AFORMAUTLib.AFormApp in vb 6, the code throws the error "ActiveX component can't create object." I am using Adobe Acrobat v9.1. Is there anything I can do to fix this error?

We do not support development around Acrobat 9 with VB6. In fact, I believe the last version that we supported with VB6 was Acrobat 7.

CTS + Error when Importing to target system (Q)

I have configured CTS+ for our portal landscape. I'm using Solman 7.0 as domain controller. I have released a transport from D system to Q, It creates a Q buffer properly. But when I try import in Q, I get the following error;

1. Call transaction RZ21.
2. Choose "Technical infrastructure -> Reorganize segment table".
3. Choose "Add missing logical ports to this client", and choose "Execute".

Error when using instantiated mxml component in popupmanager

Im getting the following error when trying to create a popup:
Error #1007: Instantiation attempted on a non-constructor
The code looks as follows

Where CustomBrowser is an MXML component extending

If i use:

it works fine but i need to be able to set some public
properties and therefore instantiate it first. Any help would be
appreaciated.

specific type to access it's public methods and/or variables.

Hi guys:
I got exactly the same error. I recently installed BPEL Process Manager for Developers 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) in windows XP.
The default setting for BPEL VM memory is Xms512m -Xmx512m -Xmn300m. I tried to set maximum size to 1024 but I had this error.
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
if any body can suggest a solution will be great .

Error when exporting reports using MAPI

We created a .NET class that wraps CR 2010 .NET Crystal Reports functions and made it COM visible. This class is used to create a COM object in a js script which in turn used to export reports to a PDF file with the destination MAPI.
It exports reports just fine without any errors however if prior to instantiation the exporting class we instantiate a class that has nothing to do with the Crystal Reports functions, our exporting object throws u201CExternal component has thrown an exception.u201D error when exporting. It appears that it has something to do with the SideBySide feature. I was wondering if somebody knows what causes this and if there is a way to fix this problem.

I tried to run exporting code in a .net application and got the same error. I first created the COM object that causes the problem and then ran exporting CR functions. It works fine if I run the code without creating the COM object.

I am opening report designer and when i publish via Bex Broadcaster this message is shown. I have checked SDN and sap market place but most of the soultion seem to focus on WAD.
My feeling is that it is a JAVA error and is somethng basis might be able to fix.
Please can anyone let me know if they have come across this problem before, and help would be much appriciated.

RSBOLAP 014 is a issue regarding communication between ABAP (backend ) VS BI Java side.
Read the note 937697 and follow his manual instructions.
This note will start the BI Diagnostics. There you will see a red mark with RSBOLAP issue. COrrect this red mark following the recommendation on "Action" field.

I'm using the Oracle XML Parser V2 9.2.0.0.0 library to apply a stylesheet to an XML document. However when I invoke the call to processor.processXSL() an XSLException is thrown with the following details:

Your problem is that your stylesheet is illegal.
You're using the "simple form" of the stylesheet which
is equivalent to having a single root template.
If you use the simple form, you cannot use: <xsl:include>,
<xsl:import>, <xsl:output>, <xsl:param>
or any other <xsl:XXX> element which must be at the "top-level"
of the stylesheet.
The solution is to change from:
<INPUT xsl:version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="...">
 <xsl:output>
</INPUT>.
which is illegal to:
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="...">
 <xsl:output>

ERROR when I perform a WS

Hello, all
I am getting the following error when I try to perfom a Web service created wich the wizard of JDeveloper 10g(10.1.3).
I always do the same for create a Web service with the wizard and once in a while appears this error and I can't run the WS.

IÂ´ve just downloaded the last version of Jdeveloper and trying to create a JSF application, appearing the same error.
To solve the "legacy database..." problem, there are answers on the internet but basically the -Tools-Preferences-Deployment- Bundle... checkbox should be disabled.
Also if you put DGenerateIIOP=true parameter when starting oc4j, you solve the second problem. IÂ´ve put on ProjectProperties-J2EE Application-embedded OC4J as I shown below:

Tons of error when opening .as

I am not sure if its just me, but is been bugging me since beta 1. Every time I open a .as file, I get loads of syntax errors, when I shouldn't get any
Things along the lines of "missing ;" or "expected ) before" etc... Also I don't get any code assist either. If I close the file, and restart Eclipse all errors are gone. Has anyone else run into this?
UPDATE: Just noticed then when I open a .as file its being opend as CF JS file.
My setup is
Eclipse 3.4.2
FB beta 2 as eclipse plugin
CFB beta 2 as eclipse plugin

Hi Jay,
This is very strange. I have a couple questions for you:
1) When you say this happens after you open an .as file, do you mean that you only see it when the .as file is open? The Flex compiler should show errors as long as you have instantiated the class, regardless of whether the file is open. Are you seeing this in the problems panel or within the code editor?
2) You say you have CF Builder installed. Is there any chance that you've run with only FB installed? If so, do you see the same results? What perspective are you using when this happens?
3) Can you attach your error log?

If you are using JDeveloper then remove the following file:
<JDEV_HOME>\j2ee\home\jaxb-rt-1.0-ea.jar
<JDEV_HOME> is the location where you have JDeveloper installed.
When you compiled your classes, you compiled them with JAXB 1.1 libraries in the JWSDP 1.3.
When you were running your classes within JDeveloper, OC4J looked at the jaxb-rt-1.0-ea.jar library before looking at the libraries in WEB-INF\lib, causing the IncompatibleClassChangeError.
