ERROR 53761 Connection Bind through PTA failed (91). Retrying...

We are using Enterprise Directory Server 7.0 (zip version) on two Linux machines A & B. Independently directory servers are working fine on both machines A & B. DSCC is running on Machine A (deployed in Sun app server 9.1)which is managing the directory server (DS1) on same machine A.
We want to manage DS2 running on machine B using DSCC running on machine A. We can create a instance on DS2 (machine2) using DSCC running on machine A but see the operation error in DSCC console as "Unexpected Error".
I checked the DS2 error logs, it says..

I tried to enable the access via DSCC to DS1, it enables the access as "message comes successfully enabled" but i still do see the operation error in DSCC console as "Unexpected Error" for DS2.

if I set the nsslapd-pluginarg0 parameter as ldap://*DS2*.csueastbay.edu:3998/cn=dscc (Note DS2 instead of DS1) then I get the operational status in DSCC for DS2 host as Inaccessible (*to enable access click on the server and then on "Enable Access")* .
Now I enable the access using DSCC on host A and message comes access is enabled successfully for DS2 and but I again see the operational Status as "Unexpected Error" for DS2 host.
Could you please shadow some light what could be wrong?

Thanks for the reply. I do see the host names in /etc/hosts file on both the machines ( DSCC as well actual directory server) but no positive response yet. I think the error is lying here. Ran dsccmon on the server where Directory server 7.0 is running.

I am getting the following error in the error log while trying to start the DS 6.1 on linux. It was running fine few days before. but started giving this error after I tried to add this server in the webconsole of another server.
any idea?
Further adding,
I am using direct ip addresses of the servers rather than names.
The problem comes after adding the server, when it restarts the added server (may be its happening after the adding server copies the config files to the added server.)
I temporarily avoided the problem by clicking on the 'enable access' button of the added server. not sure if its is the way.

PTA means pass through authentication and is used to authenticate through the Console to the registered servers.
This error message indicates that one of the Directory Server cannot forward the Bind request, as it is not properly configured. You may want to check the plugin configuration entry on this Directory Server and more specifically the URL pointing back to the Administration Directory Server (the private DS used by DSCC). It's very likely that the URL contains a hostname and not the IP Address.
If that's the case, stop the Directory Server, edit the dse.ldif manually and restart the DS.

I recently purchased Photoshop Touch for use on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. I have uploaded files to Creative Cloud from CS5 version of Photoshop. I can view the file thumbnails on my tablet, but when I go to open them, I get the following error every time:

I have to apply support packages to it .
After fresh installation , i configured TMS and now when i check the tp as

please try to set the env variable 'dbms_type=mss' globally - just to make sure that we don't get confused here by specific users. I think tp should run under the account SAPService<SID>. Lets see what happens then...

TS3899 unable to receive hotmail from iphone 4s. its keep spinning with error the connection to the server failed. Some time it downloads old mails.

I am unable to receive email from hotmail. It is spinning with checking for email message. Some time it downloads old emails and then those emails disappears and redownloads. some times shows connection to the server failed. From laptop there are no issues with account or email. Any ideas?

Exchange Server Error - The connection to the server failed

Since two days ago, one of my GMAIL accounts on my iPhone stopped receiving emails. I use Exchange Server, and have been getting the following message: Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed.
I have tried multiple things as stated over the forum(s) but nothing seems to be working. This is only affecting one account (the most important one!), while the remaining two GMAIL accounts on the same device are working fine.
Can someone tell me how to fix this problem and continue to receive emails using exchange server?

OK - 5 of us at work, all with iPhone 5's, all 32Gb. 2 of us can sign into Gmail using the Exchange Server with no problems, the other 3 (including me) cannot get emails to push. When set to push it comes up with "cannot get mail the connection to the server failed". (If set to Fetch then it does work) So we deleted all our accounts and the two that could connect with push tried it on our phones that wouldn't to see if it was a Gmail thing but they couldn't connect either - same message. I tried on on of the other phones and hey presto, it works! We are all running the same OS (iOS6.1.2) So it has to be device specific - what is going on here???? !!! Really, really hacking me off now - wish I'd never bought the bloody thing. Rapidly going off Apple...

The Site Studio designer that you are using to connect to content sever is not compatible with the SiteStudio component that you have installed.
Install the designer that is inside the site studio component zip and try.

Iphone 5s mail set up error - The connection to the server failed

I've had hotmail, gmail, and exchange gmail set up on my new iphone 5 and now 5s but the 5s will not connect with my any of the accounts. I'm hoping to keep the exchange gmail and calendar since they were set up before the support was dropped. How do I regain connection to the mail servers for all accounts? Error message says: Cannot Get Mail - The connection to the server has failed. If I delete the accounts and add them back will I lose support to sync gmail through exchange??? Please help!!!

How to resolve "Connection to LDAP server failed." error?

I have installed Coldfusion8 on one of my server that was having ColdFusionMX earlier.
The ColdFusionMX admin settings are automatically transferred to the new Coldfusion8 admin page after installation.
Also I have configured all my websites at the time of installation.
After all when I am trying to login into one of my website system is throwing the below error.
"Connection to LDAP server failed."
Prevously it was working well with coldfusionMX. After installed Coldfusion8 I am facing this problem.
Is there anything to do more with cf admin settings page or is this problem is with the code? (Infact I havent modified my cfm code)

I have fixed this problem successfully.
The problem was with the referral attribute of the cfldap tag.
After adding this (referral="yes") attribute to my code I am able to login into my website.

"Send through SendGovernor failed" error

When we try to run any kind of logic (testing with very simple input schedule), my users are getting an error returned:

I've searched the forum and found the "usual" fixes, so I processed the cube directly from OLAP, then I processed each application separately (with SQL Re-Indexing), and then restarted both BPC services, all BPC related COM+ objects and IIS on the Web server.
We just tried again, and it still failed with the same error.
Can anyone offer any more help please ???

We have fixed the issue now.
It turned out that the design of the tables in our AppSet had got messed up.
SAP suggested opening the Design view of each tblFACT, tblFAC2 and tblFACTWB, selecting the "SOURCE" field and setting the Default value to 0.
I found 2 tables with no default value and a further 3 with a default of "(0)", rather than "((0))" which is the way that it is formatted if you just enter the number by itself and then save the table design.
We have run several INSERT tests and a fule EVDRE IMPORT, all of which are now working.

I currently have B1 8.8 PL14 installed and in the process of installing B1i when I get to Step 3/5: Configure B1i Parameters and select Test Connection I get the error message 'Connect to B1i server failed - HTTP/1.1 404 not found'. I have followed. I have undertaken the installation as per the recorded session by Benno Eberte and regrettably I cannot set a successful connection.

Can you connect to your B1i System and have a look for the SLD, there should be a system that points to your company database. If there is a system definition that points to B1if then go further. Check the B1if connection, please take the B1DI connection test, is there a message like
com.sap.b1i.adapter.dia.exception.ConnectionFailedException: Connect to Business One failed.
(-8012) Company version mismatch

In case this message comes up and you see B1if then the JCO configuration went wrong and that part is defined in the beginning of the installation.
