Error ab_RfcSetHeader invalid compression value 5 received

our program is using the latest 32 bit non-unicode library(from 640 branch), and is trying to talk to a SAP BI7 server on a netweaver2004s with stack 10, and presumly has a 64bit unicode rfc library. Is there a known issue in the RFC communication between a 64bit unicode AIX installation using a 32bit nonunicode rfc library?

This error occured when the MDMP code page is set to unicode, it needs to be set to non-unicode in order for the unicode library to talk to the non-unicode exteranal rfc program

This error message appears both in the server and the app log files. It 'freezes' Essbase ( we can no longer communicate with Essbase and any other cube ). The only thing to do is to 'kill' the ESSSVR process (Unix). Runtime error "1101" invalid resource value.

Hi there I am getting this error message "runtime error "1101" invalid resource value" while I am trying to run my vba to populate my "Work" field. It was working fine for other files.But as soon as I started a new file
with same columns and fields and more projects , I started getting this message.Could anyone please tell me what is going on.I tried by fixing my resource values but still doesn't work.I will really appreciate your help.Thanks in advance.

Also, it would be helpful to see the line of code that gave the message.

I recently received a newly imaged laptop from my company and had to reinstall everything including Adobe LiveCycle. Whenever I open any questionnaires/forms (old or new) and click on the PDF view, I recieve an Adobe Reader error stating:

This seems to only happen on my pc and not anyone elses in my group. So, that leads me to believe that there isn't anything wrong with the forms by my install. I already tried uninstalling and re-installing both Adobe Reader 9.0 and LiveCycle 7.1.

The problem is with LiveCycle Designer ES2 version 9.x. In this version under the File-> Form Properties if you select SetFocus and turn it on it puts the following code into the XML:

If you notice in the above code the postSubmit event. This postSubmit event is not supported in versions of Acrobat/Reader prior to version 9. Even though you have set the file to support version 7 this remains in the code. I resolved this by turning off setFocus in the Form Validation

Invalid SCR Values

I have been trying to build a simple single track video with an overlay menu and only four buttons. Menu graphic is a photoshop file, 640 X 480. The video itself is 29 minutes and compressed to MPEG 2 with Compressor. Audio is PCM. Simulation mode works fine.
When I try to build the VIDEO_TS folder (and AUDIO_TS folder) with the build button, it stops shortly after starting the build with a "Invalid SCR Values" notice.
What is SCR related to.
I've tried trashing the DVDSP file and starting again with different menu graphics, but the same MPEG and audio files.

The menu graphic was 640 X 480 because that's the resolution Compressor creates the MPEG-2 at from the 720 X 480 DV file.
I did try to put in a 720 X 480 Graphic in the project, and I got the same error. (Invalid SCR Values). In other words, there was no change.
So I recreated the NTSC DV file from my iMovie video. Then recompressed it with Compressor to a MPEG-2. Then brought these assets (m2v & aiff) back into a NEW project of DVD Studio Pro. I recreated a new Photoshop menu graphic and brought that in also. Reset the links from the buttons to the markers, and tried to build it again.
Same error.
I've made many videos, most of which are much more complex than this one with numerous tracks, menus and sub-menus, and I've never had this problem before.
I guess it's the simple ones that get ya.
This is very baffling.

Invalid compressed data--crc error (RHEL ES 3.0)

i have downloaded from the Oracle Server these archive: ship.db.lnx32.cpio.gz
in order to install Oracle Database 10g Release 1 (10.1.0.3) on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (ES) 3.0 server, but when i tried to uncompress (with gunzip) the archive ship.db.lnx32.cpio.gz, i receive these error: "invalid compressed data--crc error".
so, please can you tell me what is the problem exactly. because, i have downloaded four times !!! but the problem didn't change.

This is what I got when I ran cksum:
$ chsum ship.db.lnx32.cpio.gz
405751305 649170233 ship.db.lnx32.cpio.gz
as you can see it does not equal 1778052285, so does that mean I have to dl keep downloading the file till i get the correct cksum?
This is just a dev system so it has only 32MB, is that a problem? Do I have to have 256MB?

Error: 10000113 - Invalid value Code(-5002)

We have just upgraded from 2007A SP1 PL13 to 8.8 PL19 HF1, and we are using a program called DataProLogic (formerly xFusion) for EDI purposes, it uses the DIAPI to create/update objects in B1.
I have found that when updating a draft stock transfer, I am receiving the following error:
Error: 10000113 - Invalid value Code(-5002)
I have reduced the fields being updated to none, so the only field mapped is the docnum, and no actual changes are being made but the error still exists. I've also tried mapping the docobjectcode as 67 which I didn't have set for 2007A, but that doesn't work either.
I have noticed in DataProLogic in the list of B1 objects, that there is now a "Stock Transfer Draft' object as well as the normal "Drafts" object (I am just using the Drafts object), so I thought maybe this has changed but I can't even select it as an option, it gives me an error of "Object SAPbobsCOM Stock Transfer not found".
If anyone has any ideas on how to get my stock transfer drafts working please let me know!

Hi Michael,
When you need upgrade, first thing to test is the add-on you have. Only if all add-on working, you can upgrade. Hope you are still in the testing process. If not, the best way is to contact the add-on vendor to get the new updated program.

I have now downloaded 10g Mac client 3 times from here:

The file size is correct but I get this error:
gunzip: ship_mac_client.cpio.gz: invalid compressed data--crc error
am i doing something wrong or is the file corrupt on the server?

File size does not provide a reliable means for detecting file corruption. Verify the downloaded file's checksum by running:
cksum <filename>If this value differs from the cksum value appearing on the download page (3052329470), then your file cannot match Oracle's. If the values match, then your file almost certainly matches Oracle's. Matching cksum values does not rule out the possibility of your having successfully downloaded a corrupt file from Oracle. (In other words, their cksum value was computed against a corrupt file.)

Error while attaching document to report on Portal - Invalid selection valu

Hello All,
We are running our reports on Portal and as per the business requirement the users have to create comments or attach documents to certain amounts in certain columns and once they create the comment a document icon shows up near that amount (for example there are 3 columns Budget, actual, balance then the user have to create comment for some amounts which needs explanation) they do that from context menu Documents -> Create new Comment.
Now we want those documents to be saved on Infoprovider level and not on master data for any particular object. We have activated the flag "Characteristic is document property" on related infoobjects. We have the flag to display document icon on Infoprovider active in the web template. Now when I run the report I am able to create new comments on first two columns and when the report refreshes it shows me icon near that amount but it gives me errors on third column after the report refreshes itself. Now when I go in portal KM repository where documents are stored I do see the document that I created for the third column as well so looks like the document is getting created and being stored but the issue is when it tries to display the icon on that third column.

Have you solved this problem? I have the same problem after a SPS implementation (SPS 17). The message appears when we select a single value in a DP (hierarchical filter item) that filters another one, but when I select a node it doesn't.
Before the patch implementation the apliccation worked ok.
Any idea?

"Invalid text value" error when calling a web service from a workflow in SharePoint Online

I'm trying to create a workflow that loops through a list in SharePoint Online using a REST web service call. However, I'm having
some trouble trying to pass the authentication token as described in the following article.

A text field contains invalid data. Please check the value and try again

Invalid parameter value Error while Extending PoReqDistributionsVO

Hi,
My Requirement is to restrict user from enetring certain values in a field in iProcurement Page based on some condition. The attribute on which I have to place the validation is CodeCombinationId and the VO name is PoReqDistributionsVO. So, I extended the VO and generated the VORowImpl class for the extended VO. Please note that I have extended the VO just to override the setter method for the CodeCombinationId in the VORowImpl. I did not change any other thing on the VO. Once I deploy the code, I am getting the following error for the first time:

And then if I try to open the page again, it gives me multiple distribution lines. (Say for example I have only one distribution line for the requistion line and my distribution table PO_REQ_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL has total 20 records, then all the 20 records are getting displayed in the front end.)
So, clearly after I extended the VO, the viewlink is not able to identify the viewlink.
I went through the following thread:

As suggested in the therad, I thought of copying all the view link related methods from the original VO files. But, I could not get any Viewlink related information in any of the three seeded files PoReqDistributionsVO.xml, PoReqDistributionsVOImpl.class and PoReqDistributionsVORowImpl.class. But I can find one View Link oracle.apps.icx.por.req.server.ReqLineToDistributionsVL in teh server which is linking PoRequisitionLinesVO to PoReqDistributionsVO.
Could anyone suggest me what I need to do to resolve the issue.

I am using an oracle 10g database, which is running on a Redhat9 linux server, to manage our lab information.
I plan to export a schema (only tables, not the real data) into a file.
First, I used the Enterprise Manager to export. I went through and complete the export job. After submitting, the system says:
There is a problem writing to the export files: ORA-39094: Parallel execution not supported in this database edition..
So I just copy the PL/SQL code which would be send to the source database and comment the set_parallel procedure.

Well, I will list more details about how to complete the job here.
1) Go to the Enterprise Manager, log in as FLOWLIMS (I just want to export the schema FLOWLIMS)
2)Go to the "Maitenance"
3)Under the "Utilities", select the "Export to files"
4)in the next page: Export: Export Type, select "Schemas"
5) in the next page, select the schema "FLOWLIMS"
6) in the next page, select these parameters:
Maximam Number of Threads in Export job: 1
Estimate Disk Space: Blockes
7) when I click the "Estimate Disk Space Now", it says :
Export Estimate Failed
There is a problem writing to the export files: ORA-39094: Parallel execution not supported in this database edition..
8) So I give up extimating
9) Other options:
I select "Generate Log file"
The Directory Object is the default value "DATA_FILE_DIR"
The Log File is the default value "EXPDAT.LOG"
10) the advanced options are like these:

Flashback: select "As the specified System Change Number (SCN)
SCN: just accept the default number 28901412

Actually I have deployed a cluster installation of SOA Suite following the indications available in Oracle® Application Server Enterprise Deployment Guide 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0) B28939-03. I have integrated the WorkList Application with Active Directory.
I have deploy a process including a human task and added a simple task form. My problem rise when I tried to check the detail of a task in the worklist application. Sometimes worklist show the following exception

well, no, you're not the only one. I just got the BPEL worklist app running, and I have the same error. I've deployed the app on a different server from the bpel / oc4j container, and I'm using the SOAP client. Using wireshark, I can see that the authentication is happening properly - valid requests and responses to the TaskQuery service, but after that I get:
