Error Admin server

Hi all,
I've a snowleopard server on 10.6.8.
After a reboot of the server, I opened admin server but impossible to see my list of services in the left column.
By going on the forums, I saw that we could remove preferences files. But I made a mistake, I deleted in the root Library com.apple.servermgrXXX.plist files.
So now when I open adminserver: he said "admin backup server was not able to connect."
Help me... please.
Is there a way to recreate the admin server configuration?
Thanks so much (and excuse me for my bad english "googled")
Arnaud

the correct file that you need modify is setDomainEnv.sh
File: $DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.sh
Add the next lines:
if [ "${SERVER_NAME}" = "soa_server1" ] ; then
        EXTRA_JAVA_PROPERTIES="-Xms256m -Xmx5000m -XX:PermSize=256m -XX:MaxPermSize=5000m  ${EXTRA_JAVA_PROPERTIES}"
        export EXTRA_JAVA_PROPERTIES
fi
Note: Replace "soa_server1" for your AdminServer Name.
After that you need to restart your weblogic.

  • Error starting weblogic Admin server

    Hi All,
I am not very familiar with Fusion and weblogic but here is my situation:
Background: I am trying to install Fusion Middleware so I can integrate Oracle Transport Management with E-Business Suite (as per note Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with Oracle BPEL in Oracle SOA Suite 11g (Doc ID 1321776.1))
I just installed the following on Oracle Enterprise  Linux 64bits
    - SOA Suite 11.1.1.7.0
    - Weblogic Server 10.3.6
    -JDK 1.7.0_25
    -Jdev 11.1.1.7.0
When starting the weblogic Admin server using "DOMAIN_HOME/startWebLogic.sh' I get an error:
    Starting weblogic with Java version:
    Unrecognized option -jrockit
Error: Could not create the Java virtual machine
I found a few thread with similar issue (for different versions of SOA suite)  where it got fixed by changing some parameters in the cmd file but I am not sure they apply to my case.
Is the jdk version compatible? (I can start JDeveloper ok) , if not which one is the appropriate version. If i need to change it, can you provide details of how to do it? (I am not expert on SOA/Jdev  )
Can you please help me here ?
    Thanks in advance!

    Well, I tested it
java -version and it shows :
    1.7.0_25
Java HotSpot 64 bit Server VM
--> So I guess the problem is I don't seem to have the jrockit.
I donwloaded it (Rel 28.7) and installed it. During installation it says "for JDK 1.6.0_45"
Anyway. I let it install anyway and I modified the PATH to point to the Jrockit bin directory. Then run java -version and it now shows JDK 1.6.0_45 and jvm as rockit
Now I tried to start the weblogic server and I get the same error. it still uses the JDK 1.7
So.. again.. is this supported with JDK 7 ?
How can I fix it now that I installed everything using the JDK 7?
    Thanks

  • How can i start the Admin server? may be this will be like clue: "When i try to start the iplanet suite with the start-admin script, i receive the following error:

"I'm not familiar with the error, but I'll throw in my two cents and hope it leads you somewhere.
First, be sure you start things in the correct order. LDAP->Admin->Console.
Be sure you've set nsadminservaccessaddresses and nsadminaccesshosts.
Do you have problems starting everything up when you aren't using SSL mode?
You can put startconsole into debug mode with startconsole -D 9 but I don't think there is a start-admin debug mode. You'd have to settle for a truss.
All in all, you should ask this in the LDAP (User Management & Policy) forum."

how can i check the nsadminservaccessaddresses and nsadminaccesshosts settings (i'm new on this suite as you can see).
if i moved some checkbox when the console was ok how can i view that settings in text mode?
by the way i have another server that can sun console well (port 2125) so what file can i compare to change some wrong settings?
    thanks anyway, another idea?"

jvm file is in your system file folder.so you can delete that jvm file and to run as it is.

    Hi Charan,
if your ManagedServers are not in Configured for MSI Mode (Managed Server Indepence Mode) then you wont be able to start your Servers until the AdminServer is Already Running. I can see that the Exception u pasted that...your AdminServer is not reachable....It may be due to AdminServer Vs ManagedServer BOX Network Issue or Your AdminServer might be down when u tried to start the ManagedServer.
    Thanks

  • Error when restarting admin server

I'm testing clustering with WL 6.1.
I have one machine acting as the admin server and the EJB server and a
second machine clustered with it as another EJB server. When I restart

any clues? They are running on different machines so I don't really

  • Weblogic admin server is unable to start (without giving any error)

    Hi,
We have a disaster recovery machine which is created from production machine by file replication (SAN disks are used). We are still trying to make the DR domain up. Our problem is, after starting the script
startAdmin.sh, java process stops after log line containing "Initializing self-tuning thread pool". There is no process left when i grep in unix env. The out log give no error (admin.log server log is not created yet).
The only i have is the out log.
Could anybody help on resolving this problem ? Thanks very much in advance !
