Error calling BEA Weblogic Web Service

Hi all!
We are working with SAP PI 7.0 and we have a problem when we importing the WSDL specification of a Web service. This Web service is generated automatically with WebLogic 8.1 (servicegen).
The error is:
+Cause: Unable to recognize the loaded document as valid WSDL
The value ":arrayType" is not permitted for the attribute "name" of the "QName" type in the "/schema/complexType("List")/complexContent/restriction/attribute("http://prueba.encoding.miEsquema:arrayType")" element+
We can make some changes in the WSDL to avoid this error but SAP PI can't parse the response of the Web service...
Anyone has worked before with Weblogic services?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Roberto

  • Calling a WebLogic web service from a WebLogic web application

    We would like to call a WebLogic web service from WebLogic web application. The current architecture looks like:
    LoadBalancer--->iPlanet-1/iPlanet-2--->Firewall--->WebLogic-AppServer-1/WebLogic-AppServer-2
    The web application and web service are in the same WebLogic cluster. We would prefer that the web services do not get published externally.
    Does the WebLogic web application need to make a call back outside the firewall to the load balancer?
    Is there a way the web services can be called locally with load balancing?
    Can web service calls be made over the t3 protocol?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    I think one solution is to use a Java proxy to call the Web services.
    In the Java proxy you can have a method that accepts the user/pass and sets them correctly for the Web service.
    Then you expose that Java proxy as a data control (right click, create data control) - and then create a page that invokes that method.
    (For the basics of working with a POJO data control see: http://blogs.oracle.com/shay/2009/07/java_class_data_control_and_ad.html )

  • Authorization error calling a XI web service from Web Dynpro

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to communicate to XI from a Web Dynpro application but I get an Unauthorization error (401).
    I've generated a WSDL in XI and import it to web dynpro as a new Model. But when a I call the web service, the exception "Service call exception; nested exception is: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized." appears.
    I don't know how to pass the right user and password from Web Dynpro, I've tried the web service from SOAP client tools and it works fine.
    I'll apreciate any help.

    Diego.

    To resolve this issue:
    Do not sign the To header.
    How do i do this in PI?

  • Sending WSSE security headers to non-weblogic web service

    I have been trying to send wsse headers to a non-weblogic web service. I am looking for a way to do this using the control file I generated from the wsdl or the page flow where I implement the control, or the message handler file. I have username and password parameters but I cannot get this to function.
    Here is the signature I need:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    - <env:Header>
    - <wsse:Security env:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd">
    - <wsse:UsernameToken wsu:Id="Id-dFQDZm_34ewPYtaARIJ_4BfI" xmlns:wsu="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-utility-1.0.xsd">
    <wsse:Username>weblogic</wsse:Username>
    <wsse:Password Type="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-username-token-profile-1.0#PasswordText">weblogic</wsse:Password>
    </wsse:UsernameToken>
    </wsse:Security>
    </env:Header>
    - <env:Body>
    <n1:hello xmlns:n1="http://workshop.bea.com/WebServiceB" />
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    Of course the Body is different, but this is the security signature that I need to get into the header. After looking at all the examples, I only see the option of using a java proxy class to call the web service, which would be a little difficult to use as my whole page flow application so far is calling the web service from a generated control. There are also lots of coplex datatypes that are being sent to the web service so a jave proxy would be a little difficult. I have tried to take the code from the java proxy class example and put it in my handler class, but the handler seems to only use MessageContext, not WebServiceContext and will not let me add the username password tokens. When I have tried to case a WebServiceContext out of a MessageContext, it gives me a runtime error "Class Cast Exception" even though workshop lets me do it.
    This is extremely urgent. Please help me! I am using the sample handler class called MessageHandler.java and the sample WSSE java proxy class called WebServiceBClient.java that generated the above signature.

    More information:
    Here is the first part of my Java Control where I am calling the web service and the message handler:
    package controls;
    * @jc:location http-url="http://localhost:7001/Checking.jws"
    * @jc:wsdl file="#CheckingWsdl"
    * @jc:handler callback="MessageHandler" operation="MessageHandler"
    public interface CheckingService extends com.bea.control.ControlExtension, com.bea.control.ServiceControl
    public static class CustomerInfo

    public java.lang.String MiddleName;
    public int SSN;
    public int CustomerNumber;

    public java.util.Calendar CurrentDate;
    public int AccountNumber;
    public static class anyType
    implements java.io.Serializable
    public com.bea.xml.XmlObject[] t;
    public static class AccountInfo
    implements java.io.Serializable
    public int AccountNumber;
    public float Balance;
    public int CustomerNumber;
    public java.util.Calendar LastModifiedDate;
    * @jc:protocol form-post="false" form-get="false"
    public AccountInfo CreateAccountChecking (CustomerInfo CustomerInfo, FundingInfo FundingInfo, anyType CommonHeader);
    static final long serialVersionUID = 1L;
    Here is the section of the MessageHandler class where I am attempting to add security token to the header:
    protected void addSecurityHeader (MessageContext mc)
    * Registers a handler for the SOAP message traffic.
    HandlerRegistry registry = mc.getHandlerRegistry();
    List list = new ArrayList();
    list.add(new HandlerInfo(WSSEClientHandler.class, null, null));
    registry.setHandlerChain(new QName("hello"), list);
    try
    WebServiceContext context = (WebServiceContext)WebServiceContext.currentContext().getLastMessageContext();
    //(WebServiceContext)mc;
    WebServiceSession session = context.getSession();
    * Set the username and password token for SOAP message sent from the client, through
    * the proxy, to the web service.
    UserInfo ui = new UserInfo("weblogic", "weblogic");
    session.setAttribute(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_USERINFO, ui);
    //mc.setProperty(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_USERINFO, ui);
    * Adds the username / password token to the SOAP header.
    SecurityElementFactory factory = SecurityElementFactory.getDefaultFactory();
    Security security = factory.createSecurity(null);
    security.addToken(ui);
    session.setAttribute(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_SECURITY, security);
    //mc.setProperty(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_SECURITY, security);
    } catch (Exception ex) {System.out.println("EXCEPTION CAUGHT DOING SECURITY STUFF " + ex.getMessage());}
    I tried to use the MessageContext to do this but it came out null. I tried to cast the MessageContext to WebServiceContext and it gave me a Class Cast Exception. I tried to add the HandlerRegistry section to this but of course the assignment mc.getHandlerRegistry is improper and is not compiling so don't let that confuse you.

    Ok just as I expected. So I guess I am left with the following two options
    1) either I switched to using JAXB in my apps instaed of xmlbeans....
    2) or if I still wanna use the old JAX-RPC web services to deploy on the Weblogic 10gR3 server i will have to create my own ant task jwsc directly......as shown below in your docs
    Programming Web Services for WebLogic Server (ant tasks)
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs92/webserv/anttasks.html
    Getting Started With WebLogic Web Services Using JAX-RPC
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/webserv_rpc/index.html
    Will OEPE be supporting the old JAX-RPC anytime in the near future release? or have to create own build ant task to call jwsc ant task directly to compile JAX-RPC web services??

  • User credentials check in the webLogic web service server

    Hi,
    I am having a simple web service deployed in WebLogic server. I need to customize the SOAP header of this webservice to include username, password, session token and session type parameter in the server side code and do further processsing like calling 3rd party web service(Siebel) which will do the credential validation against that server DB. Below are couple of questions that I am having.
    1. How to customize the SOAP header on the server side so that SOAP Header includes the following and eventually appears in the generated wsdl?
    a. UserName
    b. Password
    c. Session token
    d. Session type
    2. How to extract the above details from SOAP Header sent from the client side in the WL server program?
    I am using WebLogic 10.3 & JAX-WS stack. Can someone help?
    I referred the link http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs100/webserv/jws.html#wp216814. Still I am getting Null Pointer exception

    Thanks Bethune. Need further help in extracting the actual username and password from the localname UsernameToken. I am exhausted with all the possible APIs exposed in Header and headerList
    Here is what I have tried.
    HeaderList headers = (HeaderList) context.getMessageContext().get(JAXWSProperties.INBOUND_HEADER_LIST_PROPERTY);
    Header header = headers.get("http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd","UsernameToken",true);
    Iterator<Header> header2 = (Iterator<Header>)headers.getHeaders("http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd","UsernameToken",true);
    Header header3 = null;
    if(header2.hasNext())
    header3 = header2.next();
    QName q = new QName("UsernameToken","Username");
    String s = header3.getAttribute("Username","");
    String s2 = header3.getAttribute(q);
    String str = header.getAttribute(q);
    String str2 = header.getLocalPart();
    String str3 = header.getStringContent();
    In all the above cases, the strings were null and the username “admin” never got returned.

  • Errors when compiling the web service (SAP Web Service Design Tool)

    After downloading and installing the SAP de Web Service Design Tool (for Crystal Reports Server) I created a connection, a simple query and was able to deploy a web services. I tested the web service with an Xcelsius dashboard within InfoView. Thereafter I created a second connection (other name but same ODBC connection / server) and created another simple query with two date(range) parameters and a group by year and month function in order to do a select count(). It executes fine, but when I try to publish the web service I get an error.
    There are errors when compiling the web service.
    Is does not say whatu2019s wrong or how I can solve this problem.
    Who can help me?
    Some notes:
    1) Within expert mode I used a MONTH() SQL function which does not show in the normal mode.
    2) It seams that the u2018administrationu2019 of Web Service Design Tool got u2018corruptedu2019 after only creating the two connections, queries and services mentioned above. I believe so because I could select one of two queries when I created the second service, but within the current connection I had only one query.
    Thanks for any help,
    Ron
    ADDITIONAL INFO: The parameters seam to be the problem. After removing the parameters I can publish the service. But without parameters it is NO SOLOTION.

    Hello Taylan,
    I think the error that you received was due to packaging issues.I placed the
    UtilClass.java file under a directory called data which was present under
    the project directory.
    When you want to access a java class, you can either place the compiled
    class file in the WEB-INF/classes folder or you can place the java file
    under the project directory.
    I have attached the sample project that I created with your files.
    Let me know if you have any other questions.
    Thanks

    My web service code is like belows:
    import weblogic.jws.control.JwsContext;
    import data.*;
    public class WebService1
    /** @jws:context */
    JwsContext context;
    * @jws:operation
    public UtilClass testType(UtilClass tTest){
    UtilClass returnObj=new UtilClass();
    if(tTest.getName()!= null){
    returnObj.setName(tTest.getName());
    return returnObj;
    and my UtilClass is placed in the data directory under the same directorywith
    my web service code. It is a simpe class as belows:
    package data;
    public class UtilClass
    private String name;
    public void setName(String name){
    this.name=name;
    public String getName(){
    return name;
    However I got an error when I try to compile the webservice class. Theerror is

  • Simple question re invoking non-WebLogic web services

    I have a very simple question that I haven't been able to resolve elsewhere.
    I need to invoke 3rd-party SOAP interfaces from my WebLogic 6.1 client EJB. All
    the Bea documentation I've found refers to invoking "WebLogic Web Services" and
    speaks of downloading the client.jar -- however, in my case it's not a "WebLogic
    Web Service" I'm invoking, it's a non-WebLogic web service.
    Does WebLogic 6.1's WebServiceProxy (or other tool) allow this? Or must I use
    some other SOAP tool such as Apache Axis in this case?
    Thanks.
    Cheers,
    allan

    Could this interopability problem have something to do with a problem
    I'm experiencing on 61.sp3?
    I have an EJB that accesses SOAP services on a Tomcat server. The SOAP
    service sends back a SOAP exception which is correct in what I am asking
    in to do. However, the weblogic app server is returning a SOAP
    exception to my EJB rather than passing the SOAP exception to the API
    that I am using to make my SOAP calls.
    Has anyone seen something like this?

    The 'samples/examples/webservices/rpc/javaClient/XMethodClient'
    is an example of how to invoke a non-WL webservice. You can
    use that code within your EJB.
    The javadocs for the WebServiceProxy class (from BEA's site)
    will give you more methods that may be useful to you.
    Note that your best bet, if possible, is to use the JAX-RPC
    APIs within WebLogic 7. The SOAP support in WL6.1 has
    interoperability issues.

  • How to call a secure web service via XAI Sender in CC&B

    Hi All,
                I want to a call a secure web service from CC&B through out bound message. I have configured the calling  WSDL in XAI Sender. The wevservice is secured one.I tried to call it by configuring user name and password in XAI sender context.But still i am not able to call the service.
    Can anybody help me how to over come this issue ??
    I have cretaed the same post under utilities,but i am not able reply it.
    I am using HTTPSNDR  as XAI class.
    Thanx in advance.
    Regards
    sunil

    Are you getting any errors? What type of XAI Class are you using?
    One thing I've noticed is that if you are making changes to the XAI Sender you will have to restart the environment before the changes can take effect.
    Also, if you are using RTHTTPSNDR as XAI Class you may have to include the HTTP Method - Post in the context.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Philip

  • Calling DOO standard web service in ADF custom order Capture form

    Hi
    I am trying to call the standard DOO web service in my ADF form and I am using web service data control to call that service. But when I am dragging and drooping the method in my page with the parameters needed for that particular method and try to run the page. Its giving a null pointer exception. The main parameter for that method is _payload which wants an EBM to be passed to it.
    DOO is a distributed Order Orchestration which is part of SCM fusion module. In fusion we can capture the order from different places from a legacy system from an EBS or any other application and then that captured order is passed to
    DOO of fusion by calling a standard web service. But we don't have a order capture form built in ADF from where we can enter order and then pass this info to the DOO web service.
    EBM is Enterprise business message,it is an xml format file which is passed to the DOO of fusion.It accept only EBM format xml in which capture order data is dere with EBM header and the data area which contains the order information.
    The name of the method in web service which is called in j developer is SalesOrderOrchestrationService_pt_SubmitTransformAssignLaunch(__payload). payload is the parameter which accepts the EBM file.
    The sample of an EBM or the xml which is passed to this method of web service as a payload is below.

    Hi,
    for complex services like this the recommendation is to use a JAX-WS proxy client, put a POJO in front (wrapper) to access information and methods to expose in the application and create a POJO DC from the wrapper. This not only is more powerful and allows you to intercept data calls, it also gives you a netter option for debugging and error handling in case something fails.

  • Receiving the internal 500 error while testing java web service

    HI,
    Problem Summary:
    Receiving the internal 500 error while testing java web service in integrated weblogic server.
    my scenario is like,
    retrieve the Payload from Dehydration tables.
    We are connected to SOA_INFRA schema and we are retrieving the payload from the dehyadration tables based on InstanceId and ECID using Java Classes.After that i make it as a web service and i deployed in to intergrated weblogic Server.It is generating the Target End Point URI.When am i hitting this it is showing structure of the service.I am testing this service from soapUi it is returning the Server internal error with 500.Here i am passing inputs as InstanceId and ECID.
    I had verified in my Jdeveloper,Proxy settings are available.
    Error Payload:
    I am receiving the Internal 500 error because of JDeveloper HTTP Analyzer encountered an error retrieving: CONNECT https://192.168.0.41:9102 HTTP/1.0.
    An exception occurred while retrieving the response for https://192.168.0.41:9102.

  • How to call a Https Web service client (partner link)

    Hi,
    I am trying to call a https web service and having issues with it. I have copied the server certificate into my JDeveloper truststore as well as into OC4J truststore. Any help will be appreciated. I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0.

    Hmm, based on error it looks like service provider expecting some security headers. Are you able to test from other utility soapUI or browser?

  • New to Web Services - need to call a HTTPS web service from PL/SQL

    I am new to Web Services and need to call HTTPS web service from PL/SQL program. I am using 10g Database.
    I have been reading there are 2 options -
    1. UTL_HTTP - with this package its possible to call HTTPS web services
    2. UTL_DBWS
    Questions -
    1. Is it possible to call a HTTPS web service using UTL_DBWS ? I have not been able to find any information on it.
    2. Can someone point me to UTL_HTTP and UTL_DBWS examples calling a HTTPS web service ?
    3. The HTTPS web service that I need to call needs username/password to connect - how will I incorporate this in the pl/sql code ?
    Appreciate the help.
    Cheers,
    newWebServicesUser

    Hi,
    1. UTL_DBWS not work for https from what I understand
    2. Here is a sample example:
    [http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/9i/ConsumingWebServices9i.php#]
    Be careful, you must change http/1.0 IN 1.1 inside package SOAP_API.
    Here is an example for a prime number where the SOAP message is already construct:
    CREATE OR REPLACE procedure test_ws_2
    IS
    http_req utl_http.req;
    http_resp utl_http.resp;
    request_env varchar2(32767);
    response_env varchar2(32767);
    begin
    -- Set proxy details if no direct net connection.
    UTL_HTTP.set_proxy('http://<USER>:<PASS>@10.0.2.21:8070', NULL);
    UTL_HTTP.set_persistent_conn_support(TRUE);
    request_env:='<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema">'||
    '<SOAP-ENV:Body><GetPrimeNumbers xmlns="http://microsoft.com/webservices/" SOAP-ENV:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">'||
    '<max xsi:type="xsd:int">10</max>'||
    '</GetPrimeNumbers></SOAP-ENV:Body></SOAP-ENV:Envelope>';
    dbms_output.put_line('Length of Request:' || length(request_env));
    dbms_output.put_line ('Request: ' || request_env);
    http_req := utl_http.begin_request('http://www50.brinkster.com/vbfacileinpt/np.asmx','POST', utl_http.HTTP_VERSION_1_1);
    utl_http.set_header(http_req, 'Content-Type', 'text/xml; charset=utf-8');
    utl_http.set_header(http_req, 'Content-Length', length(request_env));
    utl_http.set_header(http_req, 'SOAPAction', '"http://microsoft.com/webservices/GetPrimeNumbers"');
    utl_http.write_text(http_req, request_env);
    dbms_output.put_line('');
    http_resp := utl_http.get_response(http_req);
    dbms_output.put_line('Response Received');
    dbms_output.put_line('--------------------------');
    dbms_output.put_line ( 'Status code: ' || http_resp.status_code );
    dbms_output.put_line ( 'Reason phrase: ' || http_resp.reason_phrase );
    utl_http.read_text(http_resp, response_env);
    dbms_output.put_line('Response: ');
    dbms_output.put_line(response_env);
    utl_http.end_response(http_resp);
    end test_ws_2;
    Otherwice for testing url, i recommand you to use that function: Re: Error using UTL_HTTP over HTTPS
    it's a verry helpful function when you have an error.
    wrote:
    When testing using UTL_HTTP, you MUST ensure that you open a new session after importing the SSL certificates into your Wallet,
    as I've learned (the hard way) that existing sessions point to the wallet contents that were present when the session was opened.
    If you don't realise/know this, it can cause a lot of additional frustration during testing, when you keep getting the ORA-29024 exception AFTER
    you've imported the SSL certificates................. ;) 3. i think you can use that after the begin_request but not sure :
    UTL_HTTP.set_authentication(r => http_req,
    username => ,
    password => ,
    scheme => ,
    for_proxy => );

  • Java client for calling a XI web service

    Hello,
    does anyone have created a Java client
    with Apache Axis? I tried it and it works
    for web service which aren't provided by
    SAP XI, but if I use to call a XI web service
    something went wrong.
    The XI web service works. I tested it with
    XML Spy.
    I think there must be something special with
    XI web service.
    So anyone got a tutorial/guide for this???
    thanks
    chris

    Hola mi  nombre es Luis,
    Creyendo que eres español te escribo en tal idioma.
    He visto que a ti también te devolvía un error de autentificación 401, y que lo subsanaste, pero a mi con la solución que te dieron no me vale, ya que implemento el código que te ofrecieron para arreglarlo y ahora me da un fallo de "Server Error" poniendo en usuario y password, los correspondientes a XI.
    +Request_MI_outTurnoverDetailsDisplay_MI_outTurnoverDetailsDisplay req=new Request_MI_outTurnoverDetailsDisplay_MI_outTurnoverDetailsDisplay();
    wdContext.nodeRequest_MI_outTurnoverDetailsDisplay_MI_outTurnoverDetailsDisplay().bind(req);
    req._setUser("username");
    req._setPassword("password");+
    No sé si es que ese usuario y contraseña son otros distintos.
    Si pudieras ayudarme, te lo agradecería.
    Un saludo, Luis
